Gas doesn’t include elemental damage mods in its tick damage, which the other DoT effects do (heat, electric, toxin). It actually used to take toxin elemental mods into consideration back when it was just an AoE toxin proc, but that was removed with the status rework a while back.

Slash is technically even worse, as it not only has no elemental scaling but also a lower base tick multiplier of x0.35 instead of the x0.5 the other DoT effects have, but it makes up for it by ignoring armor and thus will always have a use.

I think you’re right, but I think Wally already existed as a sorta nothing akin to the void itself, only through mirroring Albrecht and pulling from his mind was he put onto the path of what he is now

if it hypothetically expanded into realspace that would be a sorta cosmic threat, everyone's emotions and concepts running wild and being created would certainly be chaotic

but the void seems to be wholly separate and it's doubtful that it'd expand, because why would it when it is already all the nothing it needs to be and can create all the somethings given someone enters it
