Well, enough of their personalities has to be present for their move sets and martial skill to carry over. Each Warframe has its own animation set distinct from that of our operator, implying that there is still enough there for it to leak through. And then there's the Ordis lines.

As for why we don't build them with autonomy intact, the reasons could range from safety to ease of use. Autonomous Warframes run the risk of losing their minds to their infestation, so there's the safety argument, and it took us a lot of effort to get one autonomous frame under control in The Sacrifice. It's probably just easier to pilot inert frames.

1. The band is a construct of the hive mind to capitalize on a growing trend at the time and spread the infestation.

Baseline we know that the infestation is capable of utilizing the knowledge it gains from people it assimilates in order to manipulate others. We have also seen what appears to the outside observer to be distinct personalities and intelligences existing within the hive mind. And we have some now fairly ancient precedent of Alad V being dominated by the hive mind and how that affected his aims.

My inclination, because this seems the most horrifying way for it to be, is that distinct intelligences and perhaps even personalities to a degree do exists within the hive, but the overall will of the hivemind largely causes them to utilize whatever sincere or insincere means they have to further the goal of assimilation.

So for example your sister gets assimilated, they still retain in their infested form all affection for you in sincerity, and through that affection for you they will do you the great kindness of helping you become assimilated as well.

This is completely speculative of course, but I would note that the infestation at large does not seem to bear us malice, and if I were the one writing I'd say it's acting on something like its own twisted version of a well-meaning ego which views unity with itself as the ultimate goal for life.

We've had a complete cipher for the language since Whispers came out; it took a while to piece it together but there was enough reference content in Netracells and the 1999 teaser that some folks were able to compile the language. If you go on Reddit (or just look up my posts in #lore-discussion since I've been on that translation grind) you can see some of the stuff people have gotten to already.

It uses the same rules as Orokin script, which the community cracked a long time ago. It was just a matter of matching each Orokin symbol to each 1999 equivalent.

The way I would think about it is that scaldra having rusalka (also a node on Sedna) as a commander will actually be also affect the present, making grineer have more nox type of ennemies that deal corrosive DMG, I do think that there's a chance that next tennocon while focus on the grineer and the void, the grineer using kuva who is said to have property to be corrupted by mitW (duviri lore on where they drank the red liquid)

Rusalka being a node is also I interesting and feels like a hint, maybe they'll produce ennemies with their own version of alchemy and make highly corrosive unit
