Warframe lore is hard having been around in Warframe since the start. There haven't been any major retcons per say, but there has definitely been some questionable aversions to events or ideas that were open to interpretation. Realistically so much of Warframe's lore was added after the fact, onto already existing things, and that changed things that already existed, even if not in a contradictory way, but in a way they defied some of our expectations
