The memoirs of Albrech Entrati regarding his first successful journey in crossing over into the Void. Rewarded for reaching max rank with both Heart of Deimos syndicates, the Entrati and the Necraloid.
10:50 - 12:06 is the relevant entry
CAVIA R5 SPOILERS
||Anti-Void? Is this like a tethering system to real space? Also, I’m 87% certain that whatever procedure Loid did was a more controlled instance of what happened to the Holdfasts of the Zariman||
CAVIA R5 SPOILERS
||you can also Costumize them now||
Oh so that’s how we beat that which bares no name?
||I haven’t the slightest idea, I think what happened is just a cure to Void Exposure; how our Tenno survived, if I had to reckon a guess, is probably a product of The Deal||
||It can't be the only thing. Like the Drifter survived. Also i think the Drifter/operator cant die cuz they are made of Void.||
Anyway go ||customize Bird 3||
Pardon me if this sounds rude, I won’t take up that offer; I like them how they are
It's totally fair.
Is it all 3 that can be customised
I think so.
||The only one you can’t customize is Loid||
||Also, I came across this Loid dialogue, among others||
Not pictured but apparently Fibonacci cheats at Komi and Loid respects Tagfer for swallowing his immense grief so we’re full of surprises today
||From the cutscene
Me too, buddy||
Them b*s gay. Good for them Good for them.
RANK 5 CAVIA SPOILERS ||YOU CAN CHABGE THEUR COLORS?||
yeah.
Whoever thought of that needs a raise
||Lol I genuinely thought they were about to die||
||In a sense they kinda did, hence why I speculated that what Loid did in his treatment was a more controlled instance of what happened to the Holdfasts on the Zariman, maybe controlled enough to hold off the void angel-ification?||
||The holdfasts had no bodies left that might have mattered.||
Ah, true, I forgor that happened lol
I mean the Cavia ||straight up died and got better||
||they stayed in their bodies still which is different from the Holdfasts but similar to the operator/drifter||
||each Holdfasts body was like destroyed in different ways though||
Anyone else hear Albrechts pager go off endlessly off the edge of the lab cliffs
The pager is actually there
Ooooo
At the end of the whispers in the wall quest, the man in the wall was holding the lotus flower. I think DE is hinting that the man in the wall will try to manipulate the lotus in some way almost like he did with Albrecht
Please no, we had to go through Multiple Years (late 2017 - late 2021) of having no space mom, and we went through so much stuff to get her back
I think it's meant to come off as a threat but I could be wrong
He likes to mess with people, came off to me as trying to expose a vulnerability to mess with our head
||They totally died, and I know I heard a Rap-tap-tap right before they came back||
I doubt that's what he'll try after what Ballas did
I definitely took it as a threat. He has more free roam and power than he did before, and the barriers between us and the void are being dammed up for who knows how long. He doesn't need to try underhanded tactics- i think he'll come full force
Read what I said. Also it's not interesting when everything is mitw
What you said has zero bearing on what I said
I wouldn't say zero but shRug.
Just stuff to think about.
22 minutes on 60 eyes SP good yes?
Yes
just finished whispers in the wall, reading the logs in the lab, does this mean that, canonically, there is only one tenno?
at least, one active tenno
A bunch of quests only make sense for one Tenno to do them, afaict. But probably a question for lore channel
I assume there is some eternalismistical reason why there’s only one but also many at the same time.
Searched for jahu?
It’s under v not j which is why searching brings it up
Vigile jahu. So just scrolling through the J section you won’t see it. Hence using the search bar.
nada
And only ‘jahu’?
Did see one person that needed to relog before it showed for them, but it’s been some time since it went live.
If it keeps up then contact support.
I'll try relogging just in case
technically I'm not the clan leader
but the clan leader has a rank that has all the same perms as him that he gives to his second in command (me)
Neither am I, only need permissions
still not there
🤷♂️
but would it appear?
not many other people in the clan play anymore but some still do
I don’t know. But amusingly someone had this exact thing happen on livestream and DE checked and said someone had already placed it. If your clan member hid it from you or something that’s a clan issue - but they also made it so you can interact with gargoyles in other dojos too now.
okay, yeah, it was built, I found it
I feel like the man in the wall is going to do something to lotus after seeing him pluck a lotus flower at the end
just noticed this in the hub area
I'll be honest I am confused about the Jahu, Xata, Lohk words. Are they just words? Sorry if I'm being confusing
all those words in general
They are pretty much just words
cool
Are they to explain things that have to do with the void?
How are they tied to the sisters and liches
When it comes to Liches it’s just gameplay
The poems with albrecht are telling a story about his trip
oh okay
Requim words or void tongue are words of power utilized to sever the immortality of a being
And closely guarded by the orokin informing subjects to only get requims they have clearance for
In the zariman
Feels like it’s “ the void works in mysterious ways” regarding liches/sisters
I mean lichs and sisters both use void based immortalitys
I don't find it mysterious That they are beat by void based powers
I get that bit, I mean more why this combination of words etc.
Obviously it’s more of a gameplay thing at that point
I feel like it’s vague enough but also like it doesn’t need much more of an explanation
So when we kill liches we are using void tongue to essentially destroy there immortality?
How did they get void powers to begin with?
Kuva is believed derived from the Void
And Sisters are given powers by Granum who has some level of void power
What is Albrecht's accent? I can't really get a pin on it and this has been bothering me since Whisper's came out
It sounds like it has just a hint of Eastern European or Scandinavian to my ear
I don't have a reference bead on Scandinavian because I haven't heard too much Scandinavian, but I can see Eastern European. Either way I really like Albrecht's voice
Ah
He plays that character well. Calm, intelligent, measured with just a splash of utter psychosis and obsession.
His VA needs a raise
I'll put this here cuz spoilers, but... "IMO, solo;s a no-go"? really DE "IMO" c'mon, thats gona make the game feel real dated real quick. thats text speek, not word speek. lol
Loving the update and the cross-save tho.
I don’t really see it. It’s already dated, I don’t think it’s going to get much more.
yeah, i mean it is a ten year old game, but there isn't much "trendy / meme speak" in there. Ol space gramps does say "welp" in the new wor, which felt a lil weird, but other than that.
Tagfer could never do anything wrong, you're wrong for questioning him
LOL
Tagfer killed my girlfriend
…as in of cuteness?
No, it was pretty violent
guess she deserved it, Tagfer is the bestest
You monster
tagfer is a little psychotic, so it's just a little goof
you'll have to forgive him
youd be a litte upset too if you knew you were the last member of your species and one man was the cause of it.
yep
Since when was there a new racnoid or however you pronounce it?
There wasn't
Narmer
i mean there is the railjack variant one as well
This is a real Tagfer line
Albrecht better watch out for Tagfer if they meet
Cavia R5 spoilers
||when you interact with Tagfer for the first time after reaching R5, he says that if we ever meet Albrecht, Tagfer’s going after him, even if it means going through Loid||
It’ll for sure be an interesting confrontation lol
Even though the chances of this are zero, I desperately want Tagfer to curse out Albrecht with a full vocabulary
Voidtounge or English?
Yes
I have a question. What separates the rock making up the eldritch murmur enemies(the hurling, shuffling, lumbering fragments, the fragmented heralds, the hollow veins, the anatomizer, and the severed wardens) from the sheer rock faces and other geometries we see in the murmur areas of Albrecht’s Laboratories?
Good question.
Next question because we have no clue.
I think the answer is
they are the same lmao. just the rock is molded by the MITW to make the enemies.
I am at 41/42 weak points waiting for lohk murmurs i am going to cry
Next question: why did Loid or Albrecht dress up the Cavia in the stuff that they wear? I know that Loid was kinda^ the one who made the decision to preserve them, but at the beginning, he didn’t have that much respect for the Cavia, so why dress them up in the Entrati obols and other filigree?
^If I am to interpret Albrecht’s Notes correctly, in the sixth section of the Cavia fragment, Albrecht says that he was going to dispose of them, but some instinct stayed his hand. In the Colleague Rank video, Loid said that it was his idea to freeze the Cavia. There is a slight discrepancy between stories
i don't see any discrepancy
just because albrecht didnt dispose of them doesn't mean he preserved them
albrecht probably didn't even bother to try and cure them he just didn't kill them
meanwhile loid preserved them
The fact that we went to 1999 in the sci-fi space ninja game and they talk about Y2K like it was this alien thing makes me feel REALLY old
In the sixth section of the Cavia fragment of Albrecht’s Notes, Albrecht said that he was going to dispose of the Cavia, but “…some instinct stayed [Albrecht’s] hand.” in a gamble to see if someone could unravel the Voidtongue babble the Cavia were speaking. In the video that plays when you hit Colleague with the Cavia, as Loid is trying to de-escalate the situation, Loid says that Albrecht never thought to freeze the Cavia so he could later find a cure for Void exposure. The discrepancy I see is whose idea it was to preserve the Cavia
Maybe we're saying the same thing but I'm not getting what you're saying?
i find it simple
albrecht didn't dispose of the cavia but he also didn't preserve them
meaning when albrecht left it was loid's idea to preserve the cavia for the future
not disposing isn't the same as safeguarding
He only used the rare species as guinea pigs to throw them in the void with the thought that wally changes to the form of the last creature that entered the void and in the case of a intrusion of a cavia wally in the labs it would be easy to deal with it
albrecht recovers cavia> albrecht doesn't dispose of them for study reasons> albrecht leaves> loid preserves cavia is how i see it @amber terrace
Ah, that makes a bit of sense, so Albrecht didn’t immediately dispose of them. As I’m typing this, I looked closer at the fragment, it says that Albrecht assigned the Cavia to Loid. Hmm… that would make up for the discrepancy in my interpretation, let Loid decide what to do with the Cavia? Or maybe Albrecht knew that Loid was going to preserve them and decided that it would allow for his gambit of seeing if someone could decipher the Cavia’s voidtongue babble to go further than a few decades?
i think there is a possibility albrecht planned it yes
after all he left a message with the gargoyle bp
No matter what interpretation either of us have, I’m still curious as to why whoever made the decision to preserve the Cavia decided to dress them up in Entrati themed filigree
Cuz Gold looks cool
But the Cavia were ultimately meant to be a throw away, meant specifically to dumb down The Indifference, why dress them up, even if gold looks cool?
it was somewhat of a ritual sacrifice so i guess the artists went with the adorned sacrifice look
Hmm… pretty meta but it kinda works
Dumb down the Indifference? How did they do that?
Also might be bcs Albrecht thought that once the Kalymos protocol begins and the cavia gain human knowledge would behave like how adam and eve would behave after they ate the forbidden fruit and felt the necesity to cover their naked bodies
In the Cavia section of the Albrecht’s Notes codex fragment, Albrecht theorized that giving the Indifference animal minds would cause it to parody them, thus dumbing it down in a sense, though Albrecht later realized that feeding the Indifference animal minds was not as optimal of a plan as he originally thought
I honestly prefer him over fish
Sorry but Fibonacci easily has the rawest line in "Here comes The Tide. Let it break itself against you."
i like both of um.
Is albrech and tmitw two diff people now
always have been
Also the VAs delivery of “Defeat the tide, to face the ONE!” is so hype too
Poor minn... I refuse to believe she died
So last night I thought a little about the quest. And I think we saw Wallbrecht at the end of the 1999 section because Wally took control over a Vessel.
If we can access memories by transferring into a vessel, than so can Wally
Any new crosssave info?
The gates should be reopening sometime in January hopefully
You were late
I hope they fix, that after you change their colors, it also reflects in mission, cause the fish still shows up orange instead of the colors I chose
Hey, is there info about the 1999 writing script yet?
I wanna know what all the signs and such say
(Also, L O V E the Apple 2, I mean, Pomegranate 2 UI)
There's a cipher somewhere in this chat or lore discussion
Dark Sector renamed Dark Score
Marvelous, thank you!

Found one in lore chat
I saw something
Thank you!
So if I'm reading the pager correctly, I think it says December 31, 1999
02: Appointment In
Yeah that’s the date of Warframe 1999 December 31st 1999 11:55
Just remember to not be late to the party
Idk if it’s been mentioned here, but when you go up to the vessel that’s getting its face held in Sanctum Anatomica(pic relevant), you can hear a drum that sounds like a heart beat?
Yea thats been talked about a little
Ah, if I may ask, what is the general consensus as to why this tin man has a heart(beat) while the rest of the vessels don’t?
We don't know
Ah
Maybe completed by mitW itself
I think it’s symbolic in some way. The Operator calmed down Wally who was possesing the Vessel because, just like Ballas said, “It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they(Tenno) had learned a way to see inside an ugly broken thing...and take away its pain."
We also do the same kinda thing with the Orowyrms when we beat them.
As for why ours is missing a heart, that’s probably because the vessel we transferred into wasn’t fully complete
Copy pasted from like 9 days ago
There is one i have found in a dead end room that also has a heartbeat
And there is one with a heart connected in the middle of a four way room so my guess is most haven't got to that assembly point
They're Eva units 👀
Some of them do!
They are are all fleshy inside.
They are made of Helminth.
Am I being too empathetic when I say that Fibonacci’s tone in this line really rubs me in all the wrong ways? Like Bird 3 was just noticing something and was trying to help in their own way, I get it that Bird has a more “simple”/natural intuition demeanor, that doesn’t mean that Fibonacci gets to talk down the them like they’re a child
smells intentional
?
its meant to rub you the wrong way
especially when you consider that of the cavia bird 3 is the one spitting hot knowledge about wally (although he doesnt know it)
Ah, makes sense lol
Who is Wally? Never heard of him
I mean the whole theme of the event is that Fibonacci messed up and he doesn't want anyone else to know about it. He doesn't want Bird telling Tagfer and Loid there was an Angel (because the Angels are proof Fib made a mistake).
Now hear us the real question, who saw Wally first? Loid or the Zarimen crew?
when did Loid see Wally?
Im guessing that theyre presuming that Loid might have seen wally sometime before the zariman launched, although we have no real indication of a direct sighting
Yeah
although we can rest assured that Loid very likely believed albrecht when albrecht said he saw wally
Yeah but Loid hasn't really seen Wally that I can think of, unless you count all the Murmur nonsense
I suppose. If we're counting that then Loid had other dialogue with the Man in the Wall during the quest as well
I don't think it's just that. Fib also talks about how the doesn't want anyone in the Hub to know.
Bird Included.
DID Loid see Wally there? Loid doesn't respond to anything Wally says or does there, or anywhere else in the quest.
Iirc he does shout “You are not my demon” so he’s deffo responded to Wally
Wasn't that during the lab breakin at the end?
During the Netracell mission (mission 3), Loid does directly talk to the Man in the Wall. It's sitting on top of a Vessel and says
"Look at these things. Lying around. ABANDONED. Like you, Loid."
to which Loid replies
"You are his demon. Not mine! I won't listen!"
It is in one of the Indifference sections of the maps, but it's not at that part at the end where the whole Sanctum gets blown open
Wonder what that anti void loid mentioned is
Hummm
Given that's the Vessel Wally hijacks to use on the lab I think that's possibly pointing to Loid not usually being able to see it
But that's pretty solidly a point against me, so.
Loid responds to the Wally clone with a "if theyre (the fish) telling the murmur our secrets blah blah blah"
That's just him talking about Fish in general
which is an incredibly odd thing to say unless you spot a wally clone right next to their tank no?
because before hand fish was yapping yapping
and then the clone pops up
I very much got the sense that Wally was taunting you over Loid not understanding voidtongue
Which Loid knew the Cavia were speaking
that is not mutually exclusive
in fact, its supportive
because we cant translate, and then we see a clone next to the tank, it makes sense that loid was responding to the fish being near the clone
So fish is talking voidtongue, Wally's making aside comments to you, and without seeing Wally Loid goes into his rant about it
disagree, I believe Loid's rant about the Fish giving the murmur our secrets is in response to him seeing the clone right there
its not like the fish speaking voidtongue in a tank can make contact with the murmur outside the lab
meaning that it would have to be cause by the murmur-aligned entity right next to the fish
That's the thing though, it's a totally normal thing to say either way
Loid would absolutely talk about frying Fish if Wally weren't there, but Fish's voidtongue rant coincided with the Murmur going active
negative, murmur activity was already increasing before fish was revived from stasis
Yes exactly
Murmur's going active, Fish is shrieking. Loid would absolutely talk about disposing them.
Regardless of whether or not he sees Wally.
but the causal link you just suggested is not there
murmur goes active, loid revives the fish, fish, as per usual yaps in void tongue.
clone appears, in LoS to Loid, and mocks him for not being able to figure it out
it would be incredibly wasted of an interaction if Loid missed the clone dissing him to the face
hell, based on where the clone is located, clone is staring right at loid
and talking about Loid
is varzia aware that Teshin is no longer?
Teshin dead
Have you played Duviri?
Yes
He’s not dead
Duviri is whole separate universe tho
not a separate universe, just an island in the void
and still, our teshin is the teshin in duviri
Duviri is separate universe
after his head got smushed he fell into duviri where he miraculously survived and was nursed back to health
again, its not
I hate Duviri
Teshin fell through the Void portal during The New War. Duviri is a place in the Void, but not a separate universe.
your hatred for duviri doesnt change that its a land inside the void
Losing 3h of progress just because of a bug, 5 times made me hate Duviri
thats unrelated to duviri's lore lmao
Nah, Duviri lore is mid tho
coming from you thats not that surprising
Hatred doesn’t change facts stated in the quest
how you feel about duviri's lore also doesnt change the fact that its not a separate universe, but go off king
Duviri may have confusing lore once you figure it out it’s actually pretty good
Doesn't Duviri go off of the whole "we end as we began" part of warframe? Or am I thinking wrong it's been a while
uhhh I would say not explicitly? Duviri has its weird time issues, but "we end as we began" I always took as having very specific connotations to some sort of Man in the Wall apocalypse scenario, as hinted by Albrecht's Lohk poem. And he also uses it in one of his journal entries to reframe it to say "I will put a stop to what I started". While you can certainly apply those words to Duviri in a sense, I don't think that's necessarily intentional.
That is true perhaps in 1999 they will throw us more hints to timing of Duviri 🙂
Question: is the “rocks” in the Murmur parts of Albrecht’s laboratory actually made of bone? I was running an amount of Duviri for Nightwave and I saw that our favorite monologue man, Vor mentioned a “Wall of bone”
At the very least, it's not literal bone
I got the sense that the rocks that make up the Murmur is rocks from this side of reality that the other bits are growing out of
I don't think the rocks are anything. Tagfer says they're not of nature, they're not natural. It's bizarre Void stuff that just looks like rock.
"I've kicked dirt. Galloped through sand. But that out there, it isn't of nature. It's just… nothing. It's not natural. Sometimes it looks like Papa's Vessel is sinking in, like… quicksand? But it doesn't move. [pause] I hope you can control it."
Wowza! Where did you get that line? Is it the idle dialogue you can get after a certain rank up?
Talk to Tagfer with the "Papa?" option. He has about 10 lines he goes through and that's one of them. Caution, you can't exit out of the dialogue, it's like Onkko's "Saya?" ramble
Ah, nice, I might have to listen to him ramble for a few minutes because I really want to hear that dialogue for myself
Timing? From zariman crash to end act 1 tnw thats where all the backstory takes place
Going to have to replay those again 🙂
Snot really something you can replay.
We can infer that duviri was made in the aftermath of the zariman incident. And that drifter was trapped there until lotus's hand dropped out the sky at the end of TNW act 1
Seeing this feels SO validating... When did the operator report come out??
Like... I KNEW it was us in that past
AND I KNEW Drifter was unique in their "timeline" in terms of not being rescued
It seems that the New War scene showing multiple operators doing the deal is actually just showing our operator dying repeatedly at the end of the loop after being loop-imprisoned by Ballas in the Zariman past.
I wonder if operator died as many times as drifter died.
@obtuse gyro @near rune @cyan crest @graceful zodiac
Technically, a death loop in this sense is the WORST THING to happen to someone who needs to train.
Since they’re trapped in a place which likely has enemies to kill…. Unlimited training
Why do you think that was us specifically dying?
I'm not sure if I'll take that instance as us repeatedly dying, since that moment is with outside intervention (which is stated to be needed for us to escape), but yes, us "its not a flashback" nerds were right
Time loops be crazy
Is it confirmed whether or not 1999 is our timelines past or some other timeline?
Seems to be ours. The only interaction with anything from another place is us and the Drifter, and that is only because the Drifter has been stuck in the Void all this time.
Ok so then ig 1999 in our timeline was normal until Albrecht went back and started messing around
Does Wally know who Drifter is?
Think so cause he talks about him in that one Duviri tablet about not saving him
The one about I said I’d save them but never you?
Yea
If you think about it tho he never said he’d save Operator either
So it’s confusing
I don't think drifter is actually from a timeline
The operator report said he's from an unrealized possibility which means where he's from ain't exactly real which violates the rules of Eternalism of all time forward and back side to side being real
I mean the Drifter was stuck in the Void which is like outside if time kinda.
Also if like the MITW eliminated or combined all other versions of us except Drifter it would make sense I guess.
I never personally never took the scene as Wally killing all versions of us, though that is the easiest explanation.
It being us in the loop is a new valid interpretation
my lich, is finally dead
'grats
why they called them the Bird 3?
it do be like that
They are the 3rd Bird.
so what happened to the other 1st and 2nd birds?
It's pretty self explaintory he is the 3rd bird.
Do you want me to tell you or do you want to find out by finding fragments and things?
finding fragments?
Oh when you beat a book it has a 50% chance to drop a whispers lore fragment. But I can just tell you.
All other experiments with the cavia all came back with all the animals dead except the last one.
oh that
So presumably all the other birds where in previous experiments and thus died.
I already got that without noticing I had max fragment after dealing against mocking and scaling fragments
Because the operator is stated to be in a time loop imprisoned in the (Zariman) past in the operator report...
It just makes sense that the moment of the deal is when the loop resets
Well the outside intervention (the Drifter reveal) only happens at the end doesn't it?
yes it does, but Im more referring to the idea that the whole loop is during the bits where we walk around the classrooms and halls of the zariman, and not us dying over and over in handshake mode
Yeah that's also possible... I guess I just personally like the idea of those being repeatedly experienced deaths
I hope the Paracesis being designed to allow this level of time shenanigans was an intentional concept... But I guess the portal's existence is powerful enough to allow that on its own
I love how this is such an "Oh crapsticks" moment
(For the pc/Fibonacci)
Wait, I thought we already knew that.
I've never thought of them as different entities, anyway lol
We did
Even other quests call refer to him as Lidless Eye
I wonder why it is listed as a critical development there.
PC probably originally thought they were different
I think its because the "Man in the Wall" moniker originates from Rell and not Albrecht
so when the PC notes that Rell is fighting a void based entity, it confirms that the entity it was created to monitor (the indifference) happens to be the same one rell is fighting under a different moniker, which is critical because "heyo its not supposed to be this active"
I'm making a new GMV and my transition did this to Ballas. BEHOLD! "Smug Ballas."
You know that one netracell debuff that makes hp go down when you move, well apparently og isn’t considered a shield type, but health, cause when I was moving my hp wasn’t going down my og was, if was a shield type my hp wouldn’t be protected
If I may, why/how haven’t the infested made it down to Albrecht’s labs? My best guess is that the off the charts void energy in the labs are acting as an antibiotic agent?
Albrecht calls him a man in the wall
Perhaps in reference to the first successful void expedition and The Indifference’s fingers got stuck in the wall behind Albrecht’s void portal?
Yeah also every like void Room we have seen in the Diemos Tile even before all of this has had zero Infested in it.
Like the Heart Room also zero Infestation in it.
Loids Room that had the Void clock in it also no Infested.
Pardon my confusion, what of the isolation vaults? Those were drowning in infested growths? Am I comparing apples to oranges here? If I am to remember correctly, the isolation vaults were basically spaces Entrati could put stuff that came back from the void that wasn’t in the best state?
Well technically Albrecht called him "that man in the wall" at least before hearing it from Rell
The isovaults themselves are fine, it's the path to them that's messed up
Ah, I legit thought that the iso vault was the whole structure, not just the goodie box at the end of the mission, thanks for the heads up : )
It's the same reason the Necraloid room and Albrecht's labs are untouched
The Necralisk itself should have been infestation proof but Son didn't follow decontam procedures
But the Necraloid/Necramech room was sealed off from the rest of the structure and everything past it remains uncontaminated
True true, I thought that the reason Albrecht’s labs were as pristine as they were was because of how much void energy was in those spaces and how it could have acted as a bit of a disinfectant against the technocyte grey strain
Void juice doesn't quite work like that from what we can tell
Else we wouldn't have corrupted infested
Ah, true. I thought the only thing that made the corrupted ancients corrupted was the void mask that got planted on them by the Orokin tower’s defense system
Yup but they live in Orokin towers
Huh… for some reason I had the idea that while the towers existed in the Void, the interiors weren’t as exposed to the void as the outsides, kinda like having a bottle full of air under water, to use a 40k reference, a pocket of real space in the depths of the Warp(40k)/Void(Warframe)
Pardon my confusion, I thought Albrecht’s labs were seeped in the stuff, like in the tile set, I can cleanly go from the interior of Albrecht’s labs to the sheer “rock” faces and “sandy” floors of the Indifference’s spaces
Yeah that's a recent thing
The Murmur was quiescent until Ballas tore open his portal to Tau
Huh… I dunno why but I thought that Albrecht’s labs were quarantined as hard as they were because of the void devilry going on down there?
Nope
Otherwise Loid wouldn't have been left in stasis on Deimos
The labs were... Safe is a strong word, but not under attack until very recently.
Ah
So to rephrase what you’re laying down, Albrecht’s labs were mostly derelict with only the occasional functional necradroid whatsit until Ballas tore open a portal to Tau and that brought The Indifference’s eye more to the origin system and has started making room for itself, starting with Albrecht’s labs?
The portal to Tau increased The Indifference's freedom of action. Its attention was already drawn to the Origin System because of Albrecht's first journey.
By leaving for 1999 and putting Loid to sleep, Albrecht reduced the vectors for Wally to get into people's heads, then Rell did his thing and locked Wally up even further
Then we put Rell to rest, which gave Wally a handhold, and Wally gave us enough help to corner Ballas, who tore down enough of the Wall for Wally to step up properly.
So Albrecht’s big plan was to plug the Origin System’s ears to this inter dimensional eldritch horror beyond human comprehension for long enough for us to get prepared to survive whatever it has in store for us and Ballas screwed that royally after opening a portal to Tau because Ballas has an IQ equivalent to the room temperature of Alaska?
Basically!
Except Ballas probably knew there'd be consequences and didn't care because he's a tool
Ballas is far from stupid. But things didn't go according to plan and forced him to play reactively.
But... towards the end of New War, he was pretty much just acting entirely out of anger, disregarding any potential consequences, including his eventual demise instead of actually reaching Tau.
Yeah exactly, as we've noted before Ballas was smart enough to play every side after he'd nearly had his spine severed and got captured by Natah, and ended up winning the New War outright
I didn't see this till now but like Orokin treasure and stuff from void expeditions aren't thr void themselves but even then the inside of the Vaults where uninfested.
But I talk about the void and infested cuz like that was talked about in the teasers leading up to whispers.
That the infested purposefully seems to be like "hiding" or whatever from the void.
Or at least parts of that are near the void.
IGNORE... wrote in wrong channel
If anyone planning on trying to kill the fragmented one, Styanax is one frame you want in the party, also summon khul his team helps, luckily I managed to keep everyone alive, tho it is stressful when fragmented shuts off your abilities, but in the end we killed him in about 5min
And tis was a pug party not pre formed via recruitment
Fragmented can shut off abilities?
Yes, he also has magnetic debuff
So that’s why my squad die loads fighting it?
Ya my heart was pounding the whole time, cause I was in the important support role
But luckily no deaths outside of our pets, but they revive
Nullifier seemed to work on styanax for the procs, but having to recast 3 to keep energy going was still a chore to keep 4 up
I have nourish, so it was 1,3,4
Yes, same, they dropped without energy to recast once or twice tho and had to scramble for an orb
And I wasn’t using null arcane, tis was a no preparation run
Some one was like do you know about the secret boss XD and it just snow balled from there
Make me wonder what was the first interaction between the infestation and the void
What happened and what did they thought about it.
Pretty crazy that the infested, a crazy apex predator fear something
But nourish + Epizza was pretty effective
Tho it was annoying when he lock abilities right after I just recasted abilities
My two arcanes are molt efficiency, and augmented, efficiency for the 36% to duration bring my spears up to about 60
Ya know, i just had a really crazy lore idea...
We've never seen an Adult Operator, as in like - a Void wielding operator that has grown to full adult-hood have we?
Drifter is our adult self
Well yeah, but according to him hes the version of the operator who didn't escape the Zariman right? So wouldn't his Powers... if he even had them prior to meeting - himself, be the same or present?
No because we were in cryosleep
All of us except rell
We did come into our void abilities tho, kinda how we could use the warframes
I mean there is a potential for a grandma tenno vorunas operator did leave her stasis pod at the end of the leverian
But she would most likely be dead or back in stasis
Well, theres a weird thought i had - Rell became an almost Eldritch entity as he grew older... what if 'Man in the Wall' is another example of this happening just... either even older or he himself is some sort of paradox?
Tho I’m kinda sure the void exposure stopped us from aging
Well no the man in the wall is an ancient deity older than the stars
Rell aged
Been a long time since I did the harrow quest
I do wish we could rewatch cutscenes tho
Well thats why i say a paradox, if he was also a Tenno who had the same thing as Rell happen... and time paradoxes are kinda just, a thing that happen in WF, wouldn't it be possible for a Tennos future self to basically become the Man in the wall?
Im having trouble putting into words what im tryna say cause like, im literally trying to explain a paradox its not something thats meant to be explained.
Rell didn’t become an Eldritch entity
I mean, maybe he wasn't exactly eldritch but his power did far surpass that of a normal Operator. Plus his power started to influcence the regions he manifested into.
No because wally made the tenno
And existed before the tenno
You're explaining a bootstrap paradox
What’s a bootstrap paradox?
Right yeah kinda like that, Boostrap paradox.
The Bootstrap Paradox is a theoretical paradox of time travel that occurs when an object or piece of information sent back in time becomes trapped within an infinite cause-effect loop in which the item no longer has a discernible point of origin, and is said to be “uncaused” or “self-created”.
Einstein writes about relativity ->I time travel back and tell him everything about relativity->he writes about relativity
Who came up with the idea
What came first the Hen or the egg
Egg
I believe the answer is the egg
Wrong
I wonder who’s older Grandmotheg or Albrecht Entrati
Bah humbug
I remember tis really bizarre movie about time travel, basically the person it their mother and father, cause in one point they are female, and cause they were born with both parts well you get the picture, so that person goes bk in time but as a man and sleeps with themselves then gives birth to themselves, like I said bizarre
Does this Tagfer quote mean anything?
“He” is in reference to The Indifference or to Tagfer himself?
Interesting Lich name~
Indifference
that makes sense, albrecht was basically firing anything into the void to get a reaction, so it reacted.
so, when wally"the indiffference" shows up it takes your form to you but everyone in the room sees it as themself? thats neat.
How come Albrecht Entrati doesn't look like an Orokin? I thought he was one
Loid gave him new skin when he got severely damaged from his journey into the Void
Ohhhhh gotcha
And not every Orokin rocks the weird long arm. It’s more of a fashion thing
They're also have blue-gray skin, glowing eyes and their usually twice the size of a normal human
Only the Entrati family are that huge and its cause of the Infestation
Orokin are taller than the average human though. This is demonstrated in Brack's extrasolar message, which showed a human and Orokin side by side for comparison.
Well they can’t be like supperrrr tall
They're not. The message might indicate that average Orokin height is 1.87m, but I don't think that's actually right because it's only a few inches taller than normal human height.
They aren't. Ballas isn't that much taller than Umbra when they're face to face
If I may, who’s Brack? I looked them up on the Warframe wiki and couldn’t find them?
He was someone on the Zariman. He's mentioned in the Zariman ARG. He had a plan to send a message out to space for aliens to receive.
Ah, makes sense
You can read my writeup of the Zariman ARG here:
https://www.orokinarchives.com/arg-zariman
Brack's stuff comes way at the bottom
This is funny AF lol happen during my mission lol
Aren’t Veils supposed to kill people if they’re forcibly removed?
Kahl has to disable the Veils with an EMP before he can remove them - but the Operator and Drifter just straight-up rip them off Ostrons’ faces
I read the wiki and info on Kahl’s Veilbreaker suggests it is a device made to remove Veils without killing people in the process
We also have void shenanigans to interact with them
There's a reason we have to Sling through them first
Ohhh I forgot about that!
Don’t the veils work off of Kuva?
And doesn’t Kuva interact weirdly with the void?
Where is it explained that Veils use Kuva?
Not trying to be confrontational or anything, I just don’t recall anything saying that.
Sure they emit a red and black mist, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they use Kuva
I don’t remember but I thought it was stated what powered the veils, that being Kuva
Do you think it’s something to do with Narmer Isoplasts?
You get those from Narmer bounties in the Vallis and Plains
Ik the wiki isn’t the best source but it mentions how it could be Kuva, specifically Temple Kuva
It could maybe be Isoplasts
Oh doesn’t someone mention that the Narmer are doing something to the Unum tower?
I think, they were there for a reason
Only potential issue with it being the Unum’s Kuva specifically is that Ballas and Erra had it beforehand, but that could be explained by Ballas just knowing where they could get enough to start their takeover and taking more to control more
Found some concept art on the broken veils, interesting 👀
One it doesn’t show is the vortex dome that hangs from the broken veil armor piece, which may also be inside it
guys guys new headcannon super important
Is the rablit from duviri, actually a void-reincarnation of Minn?
Minn is tagfers species tho so like very different animal profile there
a cervulite, yeah. but also, conceptual embodiment
and also, tagfer is the only creature that looks like what he looks like, and the rablit is the only creature that looks like what it looks like
Why would Minn want to be a rablit?
Simple, and Tagfer probably wants the same thing, too:
Their mind, their ability to comprehend and understand.
To get rid of that and go back to being... simple
I think it’s more likely rablits are just a very rare creature from the duviri book and considering their appearance is similar to a jackalope I’d argue that they are in fact a mythical animal from the book
That’s not what simple means in that context, if she wanted to be simple again why choose an entirely new unrelated form?
Simplicity of their mind, not mind AND body
It's never stated but it's a reasonable assumption. The veils emit a red mist and Ballas would have known the secrets of kuva. Plus the Tower of the Unum has kuva and it's the first place they attacked.
If they had the temple kuva I just don't understand why they didn't fix their wombs
Ballas was in charge, not Erra. Ballas doesn't care about that, and possibly would actively try to prevent it
Then why would erra follow him
Ballas also wouldn't know that it could heal the Sentients
The goats look like goats and the owl looks like an owl. I dont think thats a strong point
what happened to arther in warframe 1999 btw
Wdym?
what happened to the auther in warframe 1999 after albrecht comfronts Aurther?
Find out in 1999
on a scale from one to full fledged game how many dark sector games do yall think DE will fit into 1999
Given that there only has been 1 dark sector and 1999 gameplay is warframes gameplay with a different skin. 1
i'd love aleast a mention a hyden
At most only as a character in the dark sector movie posters
Hayden most likely wont even be a character in 1999
fair enough
also i wish we could replay the 1999 segment
tottaly not cause i wanna listen to the music again
Nine inch nail's into the void
i thought that was just the trailers song?!
No thats an actual song made in 1999
ik that, i ment the song when ya fight the infested after you hack the pc in the actual quest segment
i orignally knew the song from final destination
Oh that? Well cant help ya there
also i'll be so happy if 1999 is a new thing like duviri
and do we have a eta on a release? i dont remember if there ever was a eta or no
my own melee tier list imo
my frame list on how much i like how they play
only in spoiler chat cause of umbra tbh
That is the most broken tier list I have I have ever seen
So a Based tier list
so your tier list depends on how long you play your warframes?
if that was the case alot'd be in the f's cause i got a majority of these from duviri
that is my own tier list, list on using the melee
Yeah but you haven’t used 90% of weapons
true, most of the weapons I put down are the ones I didn't got it, and used it, but sold it
i never realised how many people who have never actually seen or even heard of the wolf sledge, so many people say im either hacking or abuseing a glitch when i throw it
but, if I obtain some of the weapons, imma test it, and place elsewhere
The only frame that should be in F is Inaros smh
They made it based on if they like it or not
I just meant in general cause seeing a tierlist with all of those frames in F(besides Inaros) is cursed
I felt a little twitch when I saw it myself
Also don’t skip the angel, I did to test it, and I only I got one splinter from a sp run
War in c tier
One of the worst melees in the game
I’m concerned about that Glaive Prime and Redeemer prime, even if you haven’t used it, you can at least feel the power from it
Tbh they haven’t used over 90% of weapons so it’s a bit early for them to even make a weapon list if they haven’t used most of them
what happen to albrecht after loid smashing with a hammer thingy on a caskey thingy?
sent back in time to 1999 - except this time, its permanent
Yup
i just saw a mr 4 player with: excal umbra, broken war, no broken scepter, bone widow, the grimoir, and a kubrow, nothing else, OH and he was BRIGHT GREEN, nothing but green
and no data on any other weapon besides the starters i think was the bratton the kunai and skana plus volt
The Chosen Operator
with 30 hrs of playtime
Who Taxi carrying that player and giving him the good mods of no grinds
There is a new player booster bundle that gives you like 30 max-ranked basic mods. Its super useful for new players
To the point of a new player reaching till the Grim-ore weapon?
yeah, it gives a few max-ranked warframes and weapons too. nothing primed, of course, but that probably isn't nessasary to get through to that level.
Plus it's easier access to the story missions now isn't it?
With that bundle a new player can easily reach steel path
For people who reached rank 5 at Cavia, do you see Fibonacci, Bird 3 and Tagfer colored while they speak in missions?
They haven’t added that feature yet
Oh
I thought it was a bug or something
Guess they’ll add it with either Gauss Prime or the potential Echoes update
Rip
What kind of weaponry and elements should I use for The Murmur
and specifically The Fragmented One, cuz he is a hard boss
They’re weak to radiation I think
Raw Radiation. Boss is immune to Viral
What is that whole 1999 thing?
Does that have something to do with that old Dark Sector game?
No
Idk for some reason Whispers In The Walls went wayyyyy over my head, like I am so confused with all of it
In all honesty I'm pretty sure DE wants to forget Dark Sector since they were forced to make it into a very generic shooter and the studios that helped publish it wondered why it sold like dogwater
A teaser for some stuff next year
So is there any explanation as to what 1999 is?
Like why did I go there? Who the hell are people talking? Why did Albrecht Entrati feel the need to go there? Is 1999 in the past or the future of Warframe's timeline?
Albrecht went there to protect Loid
Ok?
So how does traveling in time protect loid from the man in the wall?
That just sounds like he's abandoning loid to get killed
Well Wally knew where the Lab was
But if both were in the lab he’d grab Albrecht and Loid might’ve been hurt
So he hid from Wally so Wally would play hide and seek instead
And yet it was all for nothing
Cause Wally still was taking over the labs
So was Albrecht just stupid then?
He was mistaken, now we build to stop him
I see
So Albrecht Entrati is like Optimus Prime as the end of Transformers 4, where Optimus just launched himself into space to find his home planet and then just died in space until eventually crash landing on his home planet
So Albrecht launched himself in time, changed nothing and is now expecting the Tenno to come save him
That's hilarious
We were the chosen Operator
Still doesn't justify anything
He did change something he protected Loid long enough for backup to arrive aka us
Oh ok so he slowed it down instead of staying to try and fix the problem
Can’t fix everything
Then why are we going to go get him in the next one
Might as well just leave him at that point
Maybe there's a part I'm not understanding
He is still a Void expert
Idk, I think it's pretty funny that's all
Thanks for explaining it though, it went so far over my head when I played it
Is that.. Nokia?!
Yup
When can I get that as a zaw strike

In warframe 2000
The sturdiest phone ever made. No wonder Albrecht uses it
100% impact damage, every strike has forced impact procs and killing blows ragdoll enemies, sending them flying. Flailing corpses can hit the bodies of those still living and knock them down
Heavy slam attacks with a combo of 3x or higher have triple range and the radial damage matches per-hit damage
Because he's the smartest guy we know
And he may or may not have created the indifference
Who better to kill the thing than the guy who made it
Despite doing a real stupid lol
But yeah I get your point
Also he knows void magic maybe
Not disagreeing, just think it's hilarious how much of a head smacker Albrecht Entrati's actions are
It's not stupid if literally no one had any idea what would happen. It's only stupid in retrospect.
Doing a real stupid = not predicting a hostile entity in a new plane of existence?
"Guys I discovered light speed, but it makes the Gods angry."
Don't y'all start jumping on me just because our opinions differ
I just think the situation is hilarious
I guess that's the premise behind (spoilers for a sci-fi TV show/book series) ||The Expanse||.
In all seriousness, I don't have a problem with Albrecht, I was just making fun of the situation
I want albretch to teach me cooler magic
My pact with God thing is lame and the powers I got sucked
Why does my phone capitalize god
Question though
Is it just me or is there a bit more to Albrecht and Loid's relationship than what meets the eye?
They are lovers
Nice
That is the most basic interpretation of all given information
Alright hold on, that means Albrecht just selfishly broke Loid's heart without even asking if Loid was willing to stand by his side no matter what
In a sense sure
Wow, that's cold
But loid knew albretch couldn't come back not anytime soon atleast
I see
Loid was the one who destroyed the coffin as albretch asked him to do
Loid could have gone with him if he was willing to make that decision
Someone needed to break the coffin
True
And Someone needed to be here for the chosen operator
Damn
That's ... Wow
Well this clarifies a lot, I guess I misjudged ol' Jotaro Kujo look alike
Indeed
Still think it's funny though
Same
implying that Albrecht was unable to make a Rube Goldberg contraption to smash the coffin after a delay
Or y’know, a robot
oh wait
A robot that could perform Loid's tasks? How would that even work?
oh wait
The plot needed the twink to stay behind
Albrecht wanted to protect Loid and he thought leaving him behind was the best idea, in hindsight it didn’t matter cause he coulda brought him with him and his duties could’ve been done by necraloid
But if that happened we wouldn’t get the emotional everything we see, which might help in stopping the indifference??
<UNRELATED TO CURRENT CONVERSATION>
Am I misguided for looking at the Void and real space in terms of comparing the entropy levels of both spaces?
I mean entropy for void is maxed out (or non existent depending on how you look at it) so like, what are you comparing them for
It's curious. It means the physical universe isn't really a closed system since you can take energy from the Void (Necracoils description and other lore). So the laws of thermodynamics need to be rewritten a bit (unless the Void takes that energy back from a different part of the universe? But that's a whole other can of worms)
This line by Tagfer when you ask him about “Papa?”. What if The Indifference we know is a product Albrecht’s void expedition shaking up the entropy state of the Void and the subsequent shake up has the Void wanting more of that shakeup, hence The Indifference trying to mess with real space
what does "shake up the entropy state of the Void" mean?
Albrecht theorised that what the Void really cared about was uniqueness. The Void was "bland and undifferentiated" before his voyage, and he was something new. So now it wants more new things.
Albrecht brought himself, which comes from a part of space that isn’t at extreme entropy, into a part of space that is at that extreme entropy state
Yep! Exactly this
I mean if there's a finite amount of energy in the void then it's still a okay
What in God's name
This was the last thing I saw
How did everything load so slow
The void wants more Warframe updates
only if they're unique. new open world? nah
More open worlds wouldn’t be unique, unless they’re something that shakes up the formula enough to be unique, like Duviri
yeah
I guess you could put it that way
The indifference is just a warframe player hungering for some juicy content
All I know is that it really splits the difference between your normal CE entity and wally
Especially with bird 3's outside me is too small for inside me
I have a feeling we’re going to ultimately help the indifference rather than destroy or banish it or whatever, from my understanding it aligns with our morals to help it if we can
Maybe we ultimately have to create a body for it, it becomes a new unique ally
From the looks of things negative emotions are easier to be turned into real things, but so far the operator is the only one using positive emotions with void powers
I don't think we want it to be a who
Citrine/Belric/Rania, but that was a long time ago
Ah right the only other use case of positive emotions
But rare and strangely more controlled that being all negative nancy
yeah
If they ever go down the route of using love to defeat wally I can already see the edgelords crying
Through the power of love and compassion we’ll make a new friend and get them out of that wall
they already do haha
"Where is my kaiju fight??? Why hold face??? Rawr"
Good
I will be cheering, while I recognize Wally as a threat I’ve wanted to help them for a while, specifically help them in a positive way
"why was Deimos just a bunch of family drama? why do I care about these Grineer and Corpus guys during the New War?"
I sense we're going to placate and then exorcise wally
I feel like the help we give is to return wally into nothing
“Emotions?? Feelings?? Not in my shooty game 😡”
Using the power of love and whatnot to make wally back into the nothing he used to be, when life was simple
If that’s what constitutes as helping them then so be it
He’s lonely so if nothing else let me hug him before he goes
10 credits thats how we exorcise him
I was thinking the exact same thing lol
I can already see the scene, Wally’s throwing a fit while we try to help, we manage to get to him and with an embrace he’s finally freed back to the nothing he’s meant to be
It's been awhile since I played. Could someone tell me which warframe this is?
Sevagoth, with his new deluxe skin
Thank you! I love the spooky arm
The spooky arm is amazing, love the man o war that goes with it
@craggy solstice Mods, give 'em the Old Yeller
Why does he know what it tastes like?
He must be all knowing
Yummy
that implies he's gone insane (checks out really)
What serum exactly?
Cause depending on what it is Albrecht totally fed it to him
Also I learned Cavia is a genus of guinea pigs

All the Founders are Cavia
Real
the animals are "guinea pigs" I.E. test subjects.
I’m aware, I wasn’t expecting their syndicate title to be so literal to their original purpose
Yeah!
The hardest part was the other players, it was a lot easier and I got a tauforged :]
When I finally got to the hunt we had 1 player afk then leave, then 1 player died and host migrated, then I had to face it alone and got sweeped cause I messed up 😵💫
But restarting the mission went smoothly
Way less of a pain, def gonna keep doing em cause I need those jolly ranchers
oh how close are you to cavia rank 4 now?
I’ve only ever done one Archon hunt the lives thing always annoyed me
I’m at rank 4 now, I must now suffer and wait for like 4 days to cure my friends
they are alll "Happier TM" but now they all just sound so pitful.
cuz they got Space Covid.
I’m really proud of Bird 3, wasn’t expecting the comedy relief to be the most mature
yeah.
But like Tagfer says, he’s the only one coming to grips with what they now are
Irl animals were actually used to go to space before humans
Also I’ve now discovered Albrecht sent an insane amount of animals into the void
Yeah
He sent 3 birds
these where the last batch.
Wasn’t Fib last minute too?
Third times the charm
YEAH
Can we throw Albrecht into the Void to see what happens?
I think Whispers might be my favorite quest, the Cavia are my favorite syndicate and all 4 might be some of my favorite characters
yeah.
Whispers is like Zariman 2 and Zariman is already some of the best characters and content in the game.
My favourite Syndicate is still Holdfasts
I have entirely mixed feels about albrecht now, I was really excited to finally see him, the man who started it all
But he’s not a good person like. At all
Agreed
The holdfasts are probably my second favorite syndicate
The duvirians are up there too but they aren’t a syndicate so 🤷♀️
Never trust an Orokin to be a good person
😭 fr
People used to say Albrecht was the one person in Warframe who did nothing wrong
Like the not wanting to do continuity thing was pretty cool of him but he’s thrown in mountains of animals to the void, which probably caused Tagfer’s species to be where it is
He’s still better than Tuvul
Still wish he was alive so I could kill him myself
To be fair we didn’t know as much 2 years ago
His crimes are comparatively not as bad, but still pretty bad
Well the logs he does say he did do stuff wrong
From 2 years ago or now?
Oh nvm then
He blames himself for Wally
Tbh creating Wally wasn’t something he could’ve been prepared for
While cataclysmic I think it’s unfair to hold him entirely accountable for that one, what with the void being a major factor
Albrecht is technically the reason 90% of Warframe is as it is today
Us, the warframes, the rails, wally…
I’m kinda surprised we haven’t gotten a new mech yet tbh
Maybe with 1999
Please with 1999
bro got the nokia
Now that I think about it if Father made the mechs for Albrecht and the mechs were in the Lab who don’t the Entrati know the Lab exists
Mother literally worked in the lab with Albrecht
it's a secret weapon which dealt 15mil impact damage to Wally
Not necessarily, he could’ve made them but not known of the labs exact location, purpose or vastness
Mother absolutely knows of the labs, or at least some of them, she was there during the bell incident
Though I’d assume the Cavia experiments were done in the deeper labs only
My guess is Albrecht had 2 labs
The ones we previously saw on Deimos and the deeper labs, the first labs were where he made the first discoveries and the deeper labs is where he expanded into it
That would make sense
The log saying all the Family don’t know is probably missing out Mother forgetting
Yeah, she either flat out forgot about the deep labs or was never privy to them, since her known involvement in a lab would’ve been where the heart is iirc
She shut the door in the void portal heart room
Ye
I dont think the logs are wrong lol
There are always more than one lab
And we know that the heart has one of those portals
Whiiiiich you've already said
What are these 4 unknown ones
rest of the bosses maybe?
Nope
Thanks
I swear one of his best quotes is "Observe. The Murmur seeks to protect its eyes. Ha! I've got a Ten-no! Hahaha!"
Fibonacci is the man in the wall I know it might sound crazy but as he keeps telling us he has no eye lids
Lidless Eye
Ultimate plot twist
You forgot "Swat it down! Naughty hand!"
He does have eyelids though
You sure?
He blinks.
Probably his nictitating membrane
That’s not showing eyelids
Well there's this...
It's not that bad, calm down son.
But regardless he is still physically able to wink since he is able to close his eyes.
The nictitating membrane is a transparent or translucent third eyelid present in some animals that can be drawn across the eye for protection and to moisten it while maintaining vision. The term comes from the Latin word nictare, meaning "to blink
Looks pretty opaque to me.
He also doesn't need to worry about moistening because... fish.
On fib its the blue thing under his eye
Oh weird.
He doesn’t actually need it but it’s attention to detail
Fibonacci said he can't wink, so he must not be able to. 😮
i love how he just says the craziest things in such a silly way
"the atropos serum is a drug that opens one's perception to other realms, driving them to madness. WELL GOOD THING THE VITREUM LACKS A MIND TO LOSE"
Crazy to think that we're going full Walter white mode and we go kill someone after drugging them
Drugs would’ve eventually killed them anyway
I kinda wonder how much streaming takes away from quest experiences. Like I always see streamers just talk through dialog, or have the music turned off and have instead some background music, or they Blitz through tilesets often blitzing past story related things.
Like is this really a streamer thing or do players do this in general?
De actually goes out of their way to make sure streamers don't get copyright, that's why NiN only lasts 30 seconds in the 1999 segment
Yeah they do but streamers like to be safe
Only reason I know that is because they explicitly state it in the "application" for the creator program
Streamers talking over dialogue is probably dialogue they have already heard
Not always. I have seen a couple of streams where people just answer chat questions during pretty important dialog and then complain about not understanding the story.
I wasn’t able to catch the stream, was there anything of note that happened? All I saw was the notification that said that Steve and Rebecca were discussing what’s next in Warframe
Gauss prime announcement next week.
I was in a meeting so I didn't catch everything.
I watched a stream of someone playing through the war within yesterday, they shut up whenever there was a cutscene and for most of the dialogue
Though I’m not sure they were paying attention to the dialogue that much cause they kept getting stuck after the game just told them what to do-
Hi was there anything spicy for the futur of Warframe in today's new format stream from DE? I missed it and there seem to be no replay.
Oh guass prime announcement or something next week.
Gauss prime is releasing next Week ? 👀
Idk about releasing maybe we get a date idk but guass prime news next week.
Ok, thanks 👍🏻😊 can't wait for him.
ok so, hear me out, a sentient lich, instead of impact you get void, and theres some remakes of weapons like: eternal scrouge, or somethin like that
We are gonna get Infested liches before that.
why sentient lich when we got Chipper and Archon bosses?
Hmm… very familiar to “salt circles”, any ideas on what these are/what purpose they serve? Commonly seen containing Operator incarnation of Indifference in Albrecht’s Labs and Murmur Void Space
It's weird because yeah they seem to be containing the Man in the Wall, but who drew them? Albrecht? Loid? That doesn't really make sense, just in random spots in the labs and in the Indifference. Plus sometimes he shows up outside them. So I'm left to think they're just a stylistic choice. Especially since it's only the eight original Requiems we know. It doesn't include the many many untranslated Requiem glyphs we see in the labs and on Deimos.
The tinfoil hat theory is that they're made by the Man in the Wall (in one case they appear when he does) in order to protect him from something. But I don't think that makes much sense either.
To my recollection the Man in the Wall appears during Whispers in the Walls three times inside a glyph circle and six times outside.
I hope to god there's nothing it needs protection from
What do you mean by that
Because if it’s what I think you mean then that says there’s worse in the void or out of it
Let’s hope it’s not for that because Wally is massive and that space is very small
God help us if we find something that even Wally is scared of
I am infinitely more scared of whatever a lion considers a predator than a lion itself
Wait but that’s what I meant
Because how would we even face a thing
We can maybe face Wally but that’s a guess at best
When interacting with Wally’s finger he says something’s out there watching us, granted that’s also a reference to what our Dad said when the paranoia was setting in, but still, the idea of there being something Wally’s afraid is intriguing
Lol I accidentally bugged things and the drifter looks pretty good in the operator's fighting stance
Minus the glitchy gun
So, I was doing som digging and was trying to understand what was to be next after 1999.
We know that at Tennocon they hinted at learning more about the stalker in all of this. So I presume that that is going to be the mini update to keep us until 1999.
As for some lore I was learning is that as Albrect sent the Cavia into the void, I wonder if the Zariman was the same for the Orokin.
Something to please the indifference, so it wouldnt catch onto them and their imortal reign.
My only wonder is if the man in the wall and Albrect are one in the same, much like Rell. Is Albrect the bigger evil given he is putting the fate of the universe into a childs hands yet not face the indifference himself?
The Orokin weren’t really aware of Wally, the Zariman’s purpose was to colonize Tau
Also Rell and Wally weren’t one in the same, Rell kept Wally at bay
It is def irresponsible on paper that Albrecht is leaving us to fight the indifference, but it may ultimately have to do with the fact that we can actually fight it, where as he failed (see him throwing animals into the void to try and dull it)
A part of him helping us to fight it is the vessels
I definitely do wonder where Warframe is heading after 1999, and if anything they have planned like
The 3rd orb
and or other things to subsidize the bigger quests on this next 10 year battle with the man in the wall
Third Orb, Infested Liches, Stalker, Tau Lords, potentially more to the Void Arch
The Unum
I think we will get a Infested deadlock protocol before Liches
one of Albrecht's books is just titled "1999". I hope it's all his intel on the time period, like what's fashionable and such.
Maybe another diary
The 1999 tome
You throw out everything from the 90s
I’d take a copy of such a book but best bet is a mix between diary and how to live in 1999
That and probably a chronology of events that will happen in 1999
Most would die because they weren’t born yet
Throw out some DBZ from the Tome. Tome's ultimate ability: Summoning anime pro and antagonists.
Or just shows in general. Street Sharks!
I'm already being gojo I don't need to summon characters I am the character
I raise plot armor to protect myself and the plot spear to negate plot armor
Do you think you’ll win?
You’re a Limbo main?
Couldn't say I have a main
Ohhh ok
I enjoy limbo
I was gonna say that I respect you for being a Limbo main lol
I mostly like tee hee 30² glaive damage
Fair
30³ if I use breach surge
I’m a certified Gauss enjoyer so Eximus aren’t really a problem for me
unless they’re infested
What about heavy explosives
Or lacerating someone to death
Idk if I’m looking too close into these things, but Whispers In The Walls is absolutely littered with hands, ranging from all of the void stone murmur enemies having some form of hand incorporated into their design, to the rank symbols of the Cavia having hands in them, to the HUD pop ups in Albrecht’s Labs having hands in them. Is there a reason for this or am I looking too deep?
They are his hands feet eyes and legs
Well considering that a creepy eldlich finger is the source of Void travel, hands were inevitable
They are cut out of the wall
Cut from the Indifference itself, split apart, dismembered, and then put back together into freakishly new forms. The more fragmented the Murmur are, the more mindless they become, only being able to display sufficient amounts of lucidity when fused together into larger, more monstrous forms.
I mean I think this place is supposed to be like the body of the tmiw walls form.
Cuz in. The hub if go out to the sand part and look up you see the wall Face. So like this is the wall of bone I guess?
That was a finger?
I thought it was just some random bit of stone
There’s a lot of fingers, I haven’t really noticed them but they are there
Finger in the Wall
I was thinking about this and the fact the requiems are used during the mirror defense, I think they may be used as protection against the murmur
Finger in the tank
I mean all this stone is seemingly the body of the indifference.
It's what all the Void enemies are made of.
I meant in comparison to the other bits of Wally (I just call It stone because it looked like it)
What is the nature of 1999? Albrecht mentions it as the Plague Year and given how narratively entwined Albrecht and the Void are, is it possible that 1999 is another location in the Void, or did Albrecht figure out time travel?
Figured out time travel. He even mentions bringing back the Helmith strain from his timeline to the plague year(don’t remember the exact line but it says something like that)
Who says that is mutually exclusive
Hmm… fair. Protea’s void devilry allows her to kinda manipulate time
Notably the great plague or plague year or whatever is an event from the distant past
guys I need the thranscripts from the new update 😭
Greys site "the orokin Archives" has a bunch of the dialog.
He's in the Cephalon Squared clan, the clan I'm in. :}
<3
Wait wait a minute you can but the other lotus?
Like I thought my decision was set for good
Bruh..
It is
The name is permanent
I like her Eidolon skin, might get that at somepoint
Speaking of Eidolons, I need shards from them to level up in the Quills and my Operator/Drifter abilities.
I went with the Lotus cause I thought it was one of her best qualities of being space mom
Which texture?
the ui?
was part of the chinese new year thing with grendel I think it was
speaking of chinese new year when are we getting the new dragon one?
oh you mean what is missing
the back of the scarf
go in-game and give her a spin

Oh well no one is gonna ever see this Texture in normal gameplay.
You can report it if you want though.
