Having a 5120x1440 broke the first cutscene of the quest for me. When the Loid model got almost to the edge, you could see it stopped being animated and just slid across the floor until it was time for him to get back in and use the hammer to smash the coffin.

But from my understanding, getting the fragments is similar to Cephalon fragments, except just books. You need 6 in total and they each are in different maps. Simply search the map until you hear the book(you’ll know it when you hear it).

During the fight itself, you basically bring down the Whisper to its 2nd health bar and thats when it becomes invisible. Tagfer then tells you to go hunt for another book(it’ll be marked on the map) and destroy it, which kills the Whisper and boom you got yourself a fragment

You need to hack a certain computer on the map which allows you to use Nechramechs

I am interested in theory crafting with folks! My husband and I are lore enthusiasts and discussed this topic thoroughly yesterday. We think that Wally is just a lonely entity that is probably infantile in nature and is touch-starved. Maybe he--it--created doppelgangers for the sole purpose of keeping him company; maybe he didn't bank on the doppelgangers to have certain degrees of intelligence. But I don't know. I see the Void, or the MITW, to be an empty cup waiting to be filled. Neither good nor evil. Maybe it emulates anything that comes into the void, aka Albrecht that time he entered. I think the Void 'Always Has Been', but was just an empty 'thing' (heh, because that's the definition of void), a loosely sentient being that couldn't learn or do because it had nothing there to teach it. Anyway it's just a thought, I am REALLY interested to hear what other people think about this.

I say touch-starved because of its behavior when we pacified it at the end. It just... stopped, and looked sad, and I'm not sure why this is. We DO know Wally controlled that construct. Which leads to the question: is Wally still pissed at us? Can he kill us at any time, or is he unable to since he gave us void powers? Maybe he still needs us? Or he's just that lonely that his ultimate wish is to have us keep him company? I have no idea lmao but I think he still has a goal. Or at least the doppelgangers do, if they're still one and hivemind with the MITW/The Indifference/Void entity. These are questions I'm still trying to find an answer to.

If you give your own memory in a book (the indifference REALLY want that book), you don't have the memory and it's stuck inside of the book, Loid (necradrone form) told us "The book reads you" smilar to the void stare back
It seems that he intentionally give his memory to the book so that he can deceive MITW by being "controlled" but there is nothing that is worth it in him. But Wally would still use him because of how good he is to work on the void ?
