Albrecht is the lynchpin that holds everything together.
He discovered the Void. He experimented with it and found a way to utilize it for energy production and space travel. He's the one that dove into the Void using the unique properties of Seriglass and inadvertently released the Indifference.
Because of his studies in the Void, we got stuck on the Zariman and become the Tenno AND Drifter. Because we found the Void we upset the Sentients even more. Because of the Sentients getting upset, the Orokin made the Infested to try and combat them. Because the Orokin were living high and mighty with their Void power and making war weapons, the Tenno attacked them and killed them and caused civilization to crumble.

I think that Albrecht knows that he can only exist in one place at any given time. Since he's going backwards in time, he wants to make sure that his present self is dead, and that his assistant needs to know, beyond a doubt, that he is dead, because the Indifference is known to take Albrecht Entrati's form. It's actually Albrecht's greatest fear - he's even given up his immortality for it

This way, if the assistance ever sees Albrecht again, he will know that it is most assuredly NOT Albrecht, and will be able to kill the Indifference - or destroy his form or whatever - with no hesitation

That's also a good possibility. Warframe has a pretty good handle on how time travel would work.
If Albrecht went to the past to try and alter the future, then the future would have already been changed because he already went to the past.
1999 is either another dimension/timeline like the Drifter, or it's a simulation of some kind.

1999 might be the Dark Sector that DE wanted to make but couldn't because of their publisher.
1999 might be a revisitation, or a rewrite, of the events of Dark Sector, to make them canon and closer to the original idea.

My thoughts are, the Orokin made the Cephalons, out of powerful/intelligent people who had skills that the Orokin deemed useful, and either wanted to prolong their life or punish them by removing their resistance or free will.

The first step in beating the bigger bot is pretty straightforward. Veso himself explains it in dialogue. You simply aim for the Jackal’s legs with your pistol, damaging one until it breaks completely. This sends the boss into a somewhat familiar attack pattern. It rises into the air, spinning in circles while it sprays the room with deadly laser grids. These are best avoided by standing behind the pillars in each corner of the room.

Notably, the best pillar to stand behind is probably next to the robot dispenser that can generate new Breacher Moas (those self-destructing companions Veso summons). Your Shield Osprey is less fragile and (hopefully) won’t require a respawn during the fight. Each dispenser sports an icon matching the type of robot it spawns. Just check the hologram!

Once you have your Moa and your Osprey, shoot away. The Jackal is vulnerable to direct fire when it’s spinning. This reduces its shields (the blue line under its health bar). When those drop to zero, the beast falls to the floor, stunned. That’s your opportunity to deal real damage. Specifically, you need to direct your Breacher Moa to stand right next to it. Shoot the Breacher Moa to detonate it — just like the debris blockades leading up to this point. If done correctly, you’ll shed one of two yellow health bars from the Jackal!

Just be quick about it; the Jackal is only stunned for so long. If you run out of time, it’ll return to normal attacks, and you’ll have to repeat the whole process over again.

I'd recommend going up a level (up the stairs.) Get the gunner moa to target the jackal. From afar the Jackal can barely attack you so once it's staggered you can then send the bomber moa to blow it up.

It’s probably the least buggy quest only bug I ever heard of was Roommate being invisible for some people

The only bug I experienced on launch for TNW was my warframe being invisible in cinematics during the final fight with Ballas. It was funny because the camera panned to empty ground while the music swelled, with an Archon Shard and Paracesis just floating in midair.

Oh and there was one dialogue line missing from the Drifter mission on Earth

Short version of Duviri Paradox proper is that when the Zariman accident happened, the Drifter ended up as the sole survivor, and offloaded their out-of-control emotions into the courtiers, and their memories into Thrax

But the gist of it is: you need a wounded animal from the Cambion Drift, and the other two parts (mutagen and antigen) are built in your Foundry from blueprints you purchase from Son. You need fish parts to craft them, too.

There are broken Obelisks scattered around the Cambion Drift with a Requiem symbol floating overhead. If you shoot it with your Operator, the Obelisk will reassemble and start doing stuff and Infested will spawn. Doing certain tasks (varies according to the glyph, usually involves killing Infested with your Operator) will drop a bunch of Deimos resources.
But if you like fishing that's fine too. Probably a faster way to get specific things.
