Bruh. I didn't know that detail lol. Noob me at the time was too busy processing where the hell I was when I first landed in Deimos
or maybe sentients just weren't interested in an fully infested planet
infested is also quite a problem to sentients aren't they
How does the infestation work? Is there a difference between the infestation on different
planets?
It's complicated. There are different strains, but some strains might infect multiple planets.
is deimos infested different?
From what, specifically?
the other strands. like why are there wildly different creatures on deimos?
All the strands are different from all the other strands.
pretty sure deimos was an orokin lab or sorts, then something went wrong
You haven’t even seen them all yet there’s gonna be new ones below
in wispers?
Yeah Murmurs I think they’re called
I thought they said those were void beings?
could be a new enemy type
tau
It is a new enemy type
so, like void + infested?
Maybe
and the new weapon type for that is a book?
Yes, book weapons are released with WitW
We did have that one Nora podcast episode that involved Infestation
They were afraid
how does that work? magic? smacking them with it?
rea+d5489
damn it
my puppy hit the number pad
good boy
It looks like a spellbook. The gameplay trailer showed the warframe open the book and glowy things damaged enemies.
That might change before release, but I doubt it will change much.
i c, medieval magic vibes
The book is Harry Potter stuff
I'm expecting a librarian like warframe to come out along with it
so we are one step closer to wf being a dnd campaign?
Eh. Not really. More fantasy. Medieval 'magic' is slight of hand and murder.
Not until we get wands.
thats the update after wispers
I was hoping the book would’ve been more holding both sides open and massive void blast coming out
like sol gate but void damage?
I didn't see that in the WF1999 trailer.
or void beam that looks like sol gate
Yes sol book

Maybe we can get incarnons and that's how it works.
outd+69*-.
so, is qorvex going to be a male frame?
Qorvex?
this puppy man
That’s a weird name
outside duviri?
I think they used masculine pronouns when they discussed the new frame during the dev stream.
will vorqex be better
Yes
Dunno. There is plenty of room for more incarnons to drop in Duviri still.
my friends are calling dagath derby
I wanna see more Duviri islands doing an appearance
more frame to farm in duviri and gonna work like kullervo's hold
playable dominus thrax
its what the people want
no, I'm not gonna play as some arrogant kid
with full controll of duviri
still nay
Imagine a Dominus Thrax mode like Arkham Knight had a death match game mode where you could play as joker and as bane but Dominus Thrax goes around doing void stuff

Oh so you’ve never used Operator?
they're different
"my warframe is strong" dies
every time
it's cringe ngl
and I've been using drifter since their release
maybe just maybe we could get bombastine as a playable frame
Drifter is basically Operator Prime
not wrong
Yoooo Kahl is alive? Nice
Will confirm Veso isn’t
Noooooo
There’s new nodes you need to unlock to get SP after New War btw
Also have you done both post New War quests or just Kahls?
Angels of Zariman and Veilbreakers? Done
Good!
That means you’ve unlocked Archon hunts to steal their magic Jolly Ranchers and stab yourself with them
You’ll have to re unlock steel path tho
All Zariman nodes
Do you think Whispers will make us have to re unlock Steel Path again?
I doubt it.
So, is the Unum and plain of Eidolons permanently looking wrecked now? No green plains anymore?
Yes
Nooooooo
You rank up his camp
Go up to him
You can play as him
Complete all challenges you can get credit and buy a bolkor that unlocks Air Support that brings Kahl into your missions
Huh. Neat
yo guys which incarnon out of Boar, dread or strun would be the better choice?
I say strun
They’re all different weeks, why not get them all
i got them all
Is it worth it to grind for a week on entrati standing or for mr to get a higher standing cap?
I need helminth
Helminth 10000% worth it
So I'm happy with the abilities on my frames and don't want to swap even one out so whats in it for me besides a place to put non prime frames?
I main kullervo for reference
Slot space and Archon Shards
How much do shards give?
I've got 2 azure a tauforged azure a tauforged amber and I think a crimson
They all give different stats
You get different stat options in different colour shards
Not too much better but still worth getting
so I should be focused on that and not placing my 1 million conquera decorations
I have rank 3 or so camp
I don't play that much even though I should because I got the free styanax on release
Well the reward for completing that quest is Helminth Archon Shard segment
Yeah you should get Helminth
It unlocks the room forever
I figured
do infested cysts matter or is it just something to mess up my capturas of my frames?
You could buy it on the market if you’re lazy
too expensive
The cysts just infect other players who haven’t cured their frame yet
cured?
Yeah
whats that mean?
what? so playing with a nidus is how those apear?
do they do anything else?
They can make a pet
how so?
Helminth Charger
oh the infested dog
Yes
aren't there resources ment for feeding the helminth?
Yes
like thats all they do?
what about orokin cyphers? I was trying to figure that out while getting some corrupted mods
Can Helminth eat cyphers?
Arent orokin cyphers for lua spy bypass
its all the wiki said they could do
They bypass Orokin encryptions
Yes.
Their original use doesn't exist anymore so it's just helmith.
are they at least good at it?
The ciphers they aren't bad for that.
Just follow the like rules of Helminth you can't feed the same thing more than like twice or a day or it becomes not worth it.
another thing should I be collecting frames for mr and helminth yet?
or is it better for weapons
What?
Helminth can’t eat weapons
You can level the frames and then feed them to it.
Oh no not rivens.
I'm just saying I have mr 13 and higher rivens I want to use but can't because I'm a fresh mr 12 so is collecting and leveling frames for mr to feed him later better than farming weapons for mr
I just don't like rivens at all and I think Helminth is way more useful.
Cuz no content needs rivens.
I have a wolf sledge one with 200% cc
I know its just luck but I'm either going to sell it to buy a weapon or frame I need or just keep it and use it
Cant you do both weapons and frames at the same time
They really dont feel mutually exclusive
also that.
I can but the slot prices add up fast
Frames 6k weapons 4k
you can't really craft 23 frames in a day can you?
Yes
without trying to get their bps?
You just might not have enough slots for them
I did gorgon drakgoon and stuff like that
There’s 95 Warframes so 23 is easy
Only prime frames I have is wisp and gara ones from just having the relics and the other is tennocon
prime weapons were bought
It all depends on how far into the game you are and how much RNG blesses you
I haven't had to roll a riven past 20 yet
got 2/4 of wisp p bps first relic
I think either rng is in my favor or I haven't been playing long enough
3k for weapons
4k for tenet/kuva
6k for most of the rest
8k for necramechs
Btw, after choosing Drifter or Operator in New War, Ordis and the Orbiter magically gets restored. How did that happened?
Ordis had downloaded himself into a temporary body. His real body was always the ship.
Bringing him back was just a matter of rebooting the ship.
Can a Cephalon even die naturally?
I'd assume that if they degrade enough, they'd be near useless, which I would assume is like dying for them.
Not even a fully synthetic computer system can last indefinitely. Everything breaks down, eventually. Good ol' entropy. Unless they use Archon Shards to sustain themselves, since they have anti-entropic properties. I'd have a whole slew of other questions if Cephalons started playing with those, though.
We cut to the Cephalon Ordis with 3 big archon Shards in him.
given how Simaris expresses surprise that Ordis is still around, yes
Aren't ordis' glitches also caused by continued degrading of his components?
He had a crack in him when you could see him as a Cephalon
It’s a hologram we see, he’s not physically cracked.
Instead, he learned who he was and deleted his realization, repeatedly, between the Collapse and when we found him, as he couldn’t bear to kill himself and fail us
He had mental breaks many times, and poorly patched them up
He's fragmented as well cus like grinner where in the ship before we where.
The Grineer were just taking apart the ship, they didn't damage him
I have a question about a scene in New War.
When we made the deal with MitW, countless copies of us seemed to pass out or died.
Did we just killed our countless variations in the multiverse when we struck that deal?
That's the consensus yes that we when we made that deal made only 2 universes "real? true?" idk the word but basiclly by making the only there was only the Tenno and then the Drifter timeline.
But why?
What's the point of killing our other versions?
cuz the like deal was like "save us" or like "get us out of here" during the Zariman.
and i guess those where the terms.
I know. But is really necessary to wipe out our other versions just to save this version of us?
I mean we also make a verison of us that never gets out so SHRUG.
i mean to be FaIR if i was stuck in the Zariman in the void with like Void horrors and people going mad i wouldn't be thinking logically.
like It's easy for someone to be like "that doesn't sound like a good deal" when we look on it but imagine being in that. also MITW probably didn't tell us that is that deal we where making.
it was probably just "hey make deal with me and i will get you outta here".
No no. I mean why 'kill the other versions of the operator' part.
cuz the MitW wanted to i guess.
Is he just doing this for the lols or something?
Welp. There goes my fic idea of a separate version of the Tenno aside from the Drifter
Also, if the Drifter is the version of the Operator that never got out of the Zariman, how can he use the void energy?
Potentially
It may have been an inverse equal of baros deal
Instead of making them all the same you just kill them all and then technically every version of you is the same
Cause your the only you
Well that's screwed up
However we don't really know what the deal truly did
There wasn't a contract nothing to read
Just 2 lines
So there is still a chance of another version of us that still exists besides the Drifter?
very very very very unlikely thanks to the deal
Possibly! Most of them were wiped out/fused into the version of you that made contact with the Drifter though
So, yeah, unlikely.
I'll just put that under label as "0.01% chance of happening." .Unless DE completely confirms it.
Or did they?
DE don't confirm nothin'
except meto's death
Oh true Leelu's dead, yeah
I'm confused about the change of dynamics between Erra and Ballas. Before the New War, like in the Prelude, Erra literally had Ballas on a leash and I assume he had forcibly change his lower body to that of a Sentients to mock him
But in New War, Erra is now working for Ballas.
How did that happened???
Off-screen, basically
Including the sentient legs he got?
Natah did actually break Ballas, but Ballas is a super manipulator and Erra was very open to manipulation
Basically Ballas used Erra to get out from Natah's thumb, then collaborated to remove her entirely from direct control over the armada
With every step Erra and the Sentients saw more and more success, and Ballas was given more and more influence, until Ballas was in control of the whole System and Erra was just his enforcer
So, the Sentients adaptation ability. Do they can only be immune to one thing at a time?
Or is that just a gameplay thing, and in lore they can be immune to multiple things if they aren't killed instantly?
They can't become outright immune just dam resilient
Ok. Resilient. But can they be resilient to one thing at a time, or multiple things at the same time for a long time?
its not even a gameplay thing, you can see them stack resistences to multiple damage types if you take too long to kill them
what the gameplay thing is is that they can only stack 4 resistances
Something that is barely seen in gameplay is that the Sentients can take over any advanced technology; we only see this during the Naho section of New War and during Octavia’s Anthem.
In actuality, they could probably take over any corpus gun and make them not work. Plus ships, robotics, and Cephalons would be useless
This is why all the prime weapons that exist are low tech; there’s nothing for the Sentient to control if it just uses gunpowder
Naho???
Teko
You know how Mother keeps saying " What HE is up to." Whenever we got to Isovaults. Who is she referring to? Son?
she's talking bout her dad
Oh he's alive?
Wait what?
at least
I believe she's talking about her Dad
some might think that shes talking about Father and Son, but those two don't really have much motivations to be in the iso vault area do they
Albrecht Entrati? of course he is
Wait that's her dad? What I thought he's like way older
Like way more generations off
Well that makes way more sense
I mean, they're mostly blueskins, they live for a very very very very long time
Oh right
Average orokin lifestyle
-Hedonism
-Get old.
-Catch some poor schmuck and steal their body
-Rinse and repeat
I love Albrecht's outfit he looks so cool, and doesn't look that old, if that is the original Albrecht
He could be the Wall-Man. He could be Albrecht. He could be both and have a bizarre personality to match the quantum state a la Schrodinger's Cat except with additional uncertainties we cannot fathom besides the question of whether it's in the box, alive, dead, or not.
I don't know if this idea has been mentioned yet but perhaps the body we see Albrecht inhabit during the demo cutscene of Whispers is the body Albrecht wanted to die in? Like I understand that in the Necraloid room audio file whatsits, Albrecht said that he wasn't gonna take the kuva now or ever again, but what if he made an exception here because he wanted to die in a certian body/knew he wasn't gonna be getting up after switching bodies?
Nah, the big bodies - vessels - are more likely intended to be anti-Wall Warframe analogues, considering that Loid Prime described them as something that needed a specific sort of pilot the empire didn't have.
The Vessels are certainly odd
Albrecht was either given knowledge of the future regarding the tenno or just made then
Pardon my confusion here, I was referring to Albrecht possibly switching from the body he kept on living in after his first voyage into the void to the body we see him lie down in the casket thingy in the whispers cinematic demo during Tennocon 2023
Or didn't leave until the end of the old war
He likely knows more than he's 'meant' to due to Eternalism and having been 'everywhere' - even into Yonta's dreams - as well as being(?) the Wall-man.
He'd need no knowledge of the future, all the vessels would require is a type of neural interface. Or just use the same kind of set up Necramechs have and we can just plug in.
What’s the odds that DE is gonna put all the Eidolon/Orphix arcanes in the operational supply for Gargoyle’s Cry similar to what they did with Scarlet Spear?
Were OV and SS the last two operations?
I hope they do. They also did it for Orphix Venom.
I think so.
There's precedent then
I will not lie, I completely forgor 💀 Orphix venom was a thing. I didn’t have a necramech at the time and couldn’t be bothered to grind for one at the time, but I wanted Lavos so I bought his bundle lol
I made mine for the event.
And leveled it during it.
I am a Oprhix Event defender though.
All I remember about Arcanes in Orphix Venom was that DE put the Eidolon Arcanes in the Orphix Venom drop pool and that when I asked about it some time ago, the general consensus was that grinding for arcanes through Orphix missions was so unoptimized that it would be faster to do 4x3’s every night in Cetus without fail
That's the mission not the event.
But yeah.
The Orphix mission scales so fast, with a new Orphix dropping every 60 seconds
You need a full squad of well build mechs to stand a chance of getting arcanes
Yeah
It would OKAY for the scaling speed
if each Orphix wasn’t like 300m away from each other
You’ll burn through the allotted time slowly just by traveling.
All I know is that if DE puts arcanes in the operational supply of Gargoyle’s Cry, I’m getting myself an Energize and a Grace
I only have them at rank 2
Barrier and Aegis for me; they are being stubborn about dropping
I got them during Scarlet Spear and when I got them, they immediately went to my Hildryn
Hopefully DE adds them to Gargoyle’s Cry
They most probably will!
I hit max rank with the Entrati a few days ago and I did an iso vault expecting different dialogue, but I got the regular dialogue instead? Will this dialogue change with Whispers?
no idea.
maybe(?) it's been like this since launch.
That seems to be intended as pre-War Within dialogue, but I also get that when I do everything in Iso Vaults, including the Loid escorting.
im pretty sure i got that dialogue too before and im max rank end game
You always can get that dialogue
IIRC, that dialouge always plays if you finish the bounty without opening the vault door.
I usually see it after I open the door.
Will Wally still haunt me even after New War?
Forever and ever
Noooooooooooo
Until you find a way to kill him yes
Is there even a point in killing him?
There's a point in not killing him
Until we can understand what he is and how he functions killing could potentially remove our powers or cause the void to vanish
It's not something to worry too much about since I don't think we have any means to kill him completely at all
I have a few ideas
First we transferrence into Harrow....
And that only keeps him locked away at best
To kill him definitely isn't a matter of just firepower
My idea was kill him in his physical form since it worked for Albrecht kinda
He doesn't have a physical form though. Not one constrained by wounds
Depending on the tone of his question regarding where his fingers are would give us clues as to how to defeat him
But I doubt destroying whatever physical form he takes would trouble him
Perhaps we have to draw him to the real world in full
None of this half baked illusion stuff
He'd just find another means of manifesting until he's drawn out of where his power is sourced.
I think we shouldn’t kill the man in the wall because the point of the man in the wall is he is an unknowable god and we are mere ants to him
Or that's not the point
To claim to understand what the man in wall is would be ill-informed everything is a series of guesses based in so very little information
Hey, so, is it just me, or are the coins floating off of the door for anyone else?
They were like this in the whispers demo but it seems new
Also the clock has a lot more particles about it.
its been like that for a long while tho
since tennocon i believe
really??
i thought it was only the rap-tap-tapping that was there for a while
You can also still go down the well whatsit that the clock thingy floats above and activate your warframe
Yeah I remember doing that while Tennocon was starting wearing Harrow
Okay theory: Wally is breaking free and we have to contain it just like Albrecht and Rell did. Drifter will stay behind so that he and Kahl will keep Narmer in check.
- Albrecht never contained wally like how rell did
- we are already containing wally like rell did
Well Rell sealed himself off in an eternal sleep within his Warframe until he become restless. Albrecht was seen entering a pod with Loid sealing the pod off as well. I think we might be sealing ourselves off as well and we would have to find Albrecht Entrati within this dream
But this sealing off might be sort of permanent hence why the Kalymos Sequence cannot be undone
Thats not really an accurate understanding of what happened
Rell himself says that we're doing what he's doing at the very end of the quest
Additionally, given that Rell had to do what he did ages ago, albrecht, who doesnt have our powers, going into a coffin doesnt seem like it did what you claim he did
Additionally, the context in which rell and albrecht "seals" them off are completely different
Albrecht's body is in a physical box, rell's soul is in a warframe
Plus the very fact that Wally appears to us, and seemingly only us, suggests that we have taken on rell's load
Wasn't there also a comment at the end where it's like "oh now all Tenno carry Rell's burden" or something to that effect
Because its been quite some time since rell passed, and if all of wally's efforts currently is him being "free", it begs the question why theres even any mention of wally still being "trapped"
Their counter argument is "oh he said they have to do it, not that they are doing it"
Well we first heard the man in the wall already since the War Within. Ever since then our encounters with him have been slowly increasing, until the New War where we first got to see him in his full form.
Wally was still contained by Rell during War Within
Yes but we heard his voice
Offloading his burden to us
Means obviously we'd encounter wally nore
And then in the New war we up and made direct contact and a deal for that matter
Wally is still trapped/contained, but he's fighting pretty well
And we weren't the only ones who saw it. The Lotus saw it, and then there's all the lead up teaser to Tennocon where multiple people had weird encounters from it.
Note that all that occurs after we made another deal with wally
Your premise says "wally is breaking free" the premise itself implies that something is containing wally already
And the only thing that fits that description now is you
Albrecht. My theory is that Albrecht is still containing it. But he struggles.
On his own at least
Albrecht's last seen was funny enough in duviri and not inside his coffin
Unless for some reason he exits duviri, returns to real space, finds human loid and says "smash my coffin"
And then proceeds to confuse everyone where he's gone
Or the more linear alternative: smash coffin, enter duviri
There's all over Duviri as well as within the Zariman content that it's beginning to break into our world and we are having to contain it.
Problem then becomes: albrecht has none of our void powers. Albrecht only has the void tongue. Given the state of his deep void lab, whatever he has is not working
Well Duviri is an island within the void that exists seperately from Warframe's main timeline.
Not that compelling of an argument
At no point do I mention the difficulties of time in a macro sense
My theory is that that perhapse happened while he's inside of his coffin. He sealed away his real world version and now only his void version exists.
The closest you can get is time from albrecht's point of view
Do you think Albrecht actually died in Duviri?
No lol
No
It wouldn’t surprise me if Wally decided since he’s dead let’s take his body for a spin
I think he went on his weird void adventure and we have to find him and seal away our real world bodies so that Wally can't control it.
That void adventure just happened to cross through Duviri as well
Yeah. I think Wally have been using it as a vessel to gain access to the real world.
We've seen us getting the Wally eyes during the Erra quest. When we were floating around the Lotus and when right before we shook our heads on board of Praghasa.
I think Wally took Control of us when we had that dream like memory and took us to Praghasa.
Yeah that’s my theory for the Wally eyes we had
We actually had the same eyes in War Within
Wally did a Gaze Accuse Deny on us
Wally is getting more and more powerful and dangerously close to breaking free (this is why he is knocking within Deimos). The Kalymos Sequence is a sort of emergency plan in case this is about to happen which will include contain it's main vessel and finding Entrati (who himself became a vessel after his void expedition and sealed himself away to limit access to our world) within the void.
Has how wally benefits from the deal he made with us been mentioned?
What do we owe him?
Also what if what we owe him becomes a large part of whispers
No
We don’t know
Possibly
Something
:0
Wall man mysterious
“The Meridians awake. The vital pentatonic.”
What does that mean
I’ve heard the Helminth say it so many times now I’ve just been tuning it out but it just occurred to me I still have no idea what that means. I think the first time I heard it I assumed it was referencing some lore I hadn’t come across yet but at this point I think I’m up to speed on everything
Meridians could reference ancient Chinese medicine and qi, but honestly no way to know with a creature like Helminth.
Pentatonic... The only thing I can think of for that is the pentatonic scale, but Helminth doesn't seem particularly musically inclined lol
Yeah it’s a pretty odd statement
If there’s no explanation for it now maybe there will be in the future
The Helminth might have some insider info as an infested and be trying to warn us about something
Do you need to feed it?
The only meridian I can think of are what Minion135 mentioned, and steel meridian
So, Drifter has been living in the Zariman for god knows how long all by himsel?
And somehow surviving the void angels sleeping there?
Drifter hasn't been living in the zariman?
Drifter's been in Duviri the whole half-time; only during New War and the Paradox does the Drifter become 'finalized' in terms of how their existence is at the destination we know as 'now'.
It's a bit like that with other Void-addled things like Relics, Albrecht, and anything that's been MIA in the Void. A bit like Lua.
Had a weird thought just now about what the rarest thing that can happen in Duviri is
Wdym?
Correct me if im wrong but possibly the rarest thing that can happen in Duviri is getting Stalker with HIS weapons Dread, Despair and Hate
That’s probably the rarest thing, yeah
That is just as rare any arbitrary combination of weapons I come up with
Direct comparison: Gara with her full loadout
so we have kuva weapons for grineer liches, tenet for sisters, what do you guys think infested lich weapons will be called?
Scrimblo.
i mean, its much more common if you already have the weapons
Zealot perhaps
yeah something tells me we havent seen the last of arlo
I've said Apex in the past and I still think it's good. Fits in to the infestation's biological and evolutionary theming
If we get sentient rivals they'd definitely get "adapted" title weapons
If infested liches don't get the "peepeepoopoo" weapon title, imma have to uninstall
Duviri is a parallel world where time flows differentely,it's true that both escaped duviri but the outcomes are different just bcs one accepted wally's offer and the other didn't
I mean, OP doesnt get stuck in duviri like drifter so
That's not true. The operator would have never been to duvirir cus the Drifter made Duviri.
When we chose Drifter where do you think Operator goes?
Brazil
inside
one body, two void silhouettes
Inside Drifter?
one body
I was thinking he just went to the Zariman or another location
oooone body
Drifter and Operator are the same person after the handshake during the Lotus fight.
Quinn says as much.
Not the whole truth.
What’s the whole truth?
^
How could they talk to each other tho?
If shaking hands just made them the same person that happening doesn’t add up
That was the whole Drifter flickering out of reality thing at the table
Because every time the whole "two of the same person from different realities can't be in the same reality" trope is envoked, there has never had a case where the effects are immediate for narrative clarity.
I thought one stayed in the dormizone?
They don’t tell you where the other actually goes
Do they just fuse like power rangers or something or we just never know
Well
Quinn says something about it
Saying he perceives 2 void silhouettes inside of you do you know which one is the real one
Yeah that’s what i was referring to
It's probably something like quantum superposition
They occupy the exact same space but you can only see one at a time
Ohhh
How did we see both before when they were talking?
void shenanigans
Prolly something like that, area they were in was just immune to the paradox effect or something
Not immune, they just had a little bit of time being separated before they had to recombine
It wasn’t as Drifter started disappearing
well doesn't void daddy say on the zeraman tablets in duviri [Under the bridge between Mathila's Farm and Moirai Crossing]
- You wouldn't welch on a deal, would you?
A. CORRUPT FILE DETECTED
B. I saved them. All of them. Never said I'd save you.
-----------------------------------------(to drifter).
And i think we got send to durivi when ballas murdered us and cut space mommy hand off sending it throught a void portal cause didn't teshin crush in durivi (Hermit's Landing ) after his encounter with ballas in the new war quest shortly before us? it think we always been connected but never been to duviri before ballas "Gave us a helping hand" therefore never encounter them till then. i also think space mommy made a deal with Lohk(Wall of Bone/Void Daddy) like Drifter did, to save us and the origin system. Might be why she talks to both drifter and Operator during the end of the new war. When Picking between Lotus, Natah & Margulis, she admit the same void glow for her body that we do when speaking as (drifter/operator) is why i think she's embody externalism like we do.
And duviri Seems to be somewhere were void daddy wants to take over. theres little hint in the lost islands lore and one the tablet he mention one of them [Behind a bush south of Fair Shores Hamlet]
- What invaded the Galleria?
A. There is no such place
B. Nothing you need to worry your head over .
Maybe Duviri has some-sort of power that help the drifter talk with our Tenno abit during that cutscene where we have to pick between the two.. there's also the possiblity that cause they're in the void and time basically doesn't exist there, so they were able to do that conversation there for a short time without timeline crossing or whatever?...
Maybe Durivi acts as a second "Wall of Lohk" or something. I mean even the VIP of the next Update was in Duviri for abit and even made a lab, maybe his lab had something to do with that interaction?.
" Albrecht is presumed to have appeared in Duviri as one of two known outsiders. Dominus Thrax allowed him his to construct his own laboratory, which resided on an island dubbed Scholar's Landing. The stranger mentioned that Duviri would be needed in the future, and that there is a work of repentance that he alone cannot not do, before mysteriously vanishing along with the island.[2]
It would seem that the denizens of Duviri have not forgotten Albrecht, and constructed an empty grave for him[3], which can be found deep in a cave near Fort Wyrmsoul."
tho to sum it up i think its timeline shenanigans with a dash of void that made it that we saw both there.. I believe if ballas didnt cut the lotus hand off, drifter would still be in theyre endless cycle of death and would have never meet our Tenno.
Like I said before, name me one media where the "two of the same person can't be in the same reality" trope immediately causes issues the moment the two of the same person meet up
I'll respond to this in a sec
-
Your point of "well doesn't void daddy say on the zeraman tablets in duviri [Under the bridge between Mathila's Farm and Moirai Crossing]" doesnt really hold up well, because that is a cheeky tongue in cheek reference to how wally's deal saved everyone, but our Variant, because in another timeline he didnt accept the deal, simultaneously fulfilling "I saved all of them, I didnt save you"
-
The Lotus/Natah is the mimic queen. It is more than likely that her toggling between forms is more towards her ability to shapeshift. Unlike what happened to drifter and us, she genuinely has 3 "minds" in her: Natah, the remains of margulis, and the Lotus. What most likely happened is DE reused the transformation asset. When we embody eternalism, we do so because we're the result of 2 timelines fused into one. But what lotus is doing, as stated in the dialogue, is choosing one of these "minds" or as per the dialogue "voices" to lead the rest. These voices arent a part of a separate timeline, they were introduced in the same timeline and same space into one body
That actually a fair point, I must have misread the vibes with the deal with Wally and us...
but about the lotus tho, if she's not void touched like us then how can she talk to drifter and the Tenno at once at the end of the new war? or can people like "The HoldFasts" see our second half as well and not just feel the presences of our sec half??. i get that those 3 minds are from our timeline, but at least The Lotus/Margulis and Natah being a split could make sense tho cause Natah would have never became the lotus/margulis if we never got saved from the zeraman right??.
well to answer your questions:
then how can she talk to drifter and the Tenno at once at the end of the new war?
We're toggling right infront of her, there is one body speaking to her, but we're toggling back and forth from the OP and drifter
i get that those 3 minds are from our timeline, but at least The Lotus/Margulis and Natah being a split could make sense tho cause Natah would have never became the lotus/margulis if we never got saved from the zeraman right??.
The problem is, all of them wont exist if we never got saved. Natah was made in response to the Tenno. Without us being rescued (remember in the drifter's timeline only he survived hence his mourning of people in durivi), there would be no message sent to Tau about the tenno, natah would not have been made, she would not have been implanted with Margulis's mind/memories and she would have never become the Lotus.
I forgot/didn't know she was made in Tau. I thought she was apart of the "crew" that went to make Tau livable for the orokin cause of the void and its affects on her kin??
and i've always took it as she was talking to both at once cause we don't do that with anyone else, not even the Acrithis who seem to know whats up with the drifter..
but it could just been them taking turn saying something to the lotus but its still weird that thats the only moment we do that tho
but we are taking turns, thats why you'll notice theyre in the exact same spot
Its still odd that we only do that talking to the lotus (On lua am guessing right?) and not with the Acrithis or anyone on the zeramen. why do you think we only do it with the lotus in that scene 🙂 ?
not on lua
because this is the first time in the game that we're shown that we can toggle at will, which goes into the customisability option to toggle
additionally, I'd wager we're demonstrating to the lotus how we can have one body with two "minds" and not breakdown like she is
True, I like that better...We're basically trying to make space mommy feel better lol
What about the second theory I said. do you think thats a possibility or did i miss key parts that doesn't add up with what I said ? 🙂
Sorry for late reply but theres not really a need for duviri to act as a second wall really, the archivist talks about the wall, and its what separates duviri from reality. Drifter and OP talking is just void doodas because they haven't been linked yet
So I have a new player account on Playstation. I wanted to see how it current new player experience feels since my PC account is 10 year old and I experienced the story in order of the updates getting added instead of the order in which you play
The game is doing sort of a good job leaving breadcrumbs of the Sentient threat building them up as the big bad, with the Plains Of Eidolon being a good introduction. It is where you first get to see signs of a war that took place long ago. It shows you drawings of Tenno fighting things, and the you see bones of those things scattered all over the place. And it's also where you first hear about the Sentients although you don't know what they are yet.
However my problem is that I don't think most New Players are aware of all the breadcrumbs
They aren’t but there’s always #players-helping-players
Like the Orb Vallis leaves the next breadcrumbs. But the problem is that you would have to explore rather than the introduction quest telling you about them. The Deadlock Protocol does a good job at setting up that something big is coming, the Corpus are arming themselves too the teeth and Parvos even tells you that they need restructuring for a coming threat. However I often see nee players skipping that quest. Which is unfortunate especially since the Xoris is such a good new player weapon. It carried my account quite far even with a lack of mods. And then the next time we are getting breadcrumbs is with the Stolen Dreams quest. One of the Vaults has a big Ropalolyst head and the final message at the end is Hunhows voice Tyl Regor found on Uranus. So it's a good set up for the Natah quest. However it'll be a while before you play the Natah quest after that. And yet again I don't think most New Players would see those breadcrumbs and maybe even forget about everything that happened or outright ignore it. And then there's nothing until Jupiter where obviously something weird is going on. You can see those same bones from the Plains again in the distance and then there are the things in the spy vaults and the Amalgam enemies but I wonder how many players would look at it and think about what is being set up.
Overall I think the story is much more interesting if you have an idea of where the story could go while most people don't. They just see random bad guy doing bad guy things, followed up by another bad guy doing bad guy things and you just kill bad guys while everyone is talking to you and you just do whatever they tell you. And it doesn't get clear where the story is going until the Second Dream.
Yeah well the thing is that somebody already needs to be engaged with the community for that. And what I'm trying to do is sort of review the problem of why a lot of players quit before the Second Dream.
People quit before TSD because Warframe doesn’t teach you much when you start
I always tell new players to just focus on the quests first and the junctions second.
But I think the story is filled with outdated filler quests that don't really keep your attention to the story.
And there's a whole lot of filler planets that you have to play through.
But you need junction to focus on quests
Yeah but I mean, play through the quests, and if you're done, you complete the junctions to unlock more quests to play through. Etc
Don't know the context here, just that this is the first message I'm reading...
About 1.) though, I don't see how "X didn't accept the deal" is an argument that can go against anything... Cause we don't really know whether Drifter refused a deal from Wally. It is a possibility that can be discussed, but I'm not sure about using it to discuss other options...
The Zariman tablet is more likely a reference to Drifter being the only Tenno from their timeline that didn't get saved/Void powers... At least in comparison to the idea of the reference including the entire operator reality but not taking into account everyone apart from Drifter from Drifter's reality.
Okay I put that in a very confusing way...
What I mean is that if we assume Drifter's universe didn't get powers at all cause deal refusal... Then why does the "all" in "saved all of them" ignore the other Tenno in Drifter's timeline. Why is Operator timeline enough to call it "saving all of them"
Well for one, if you disagree with the idea that drifter didnt take the deal, which is fair enough since thats an assumption based on what possible alternatives could lead to a drifter/op split, as well as drifter only gaining powers after yet another handshake
You can stop right at the "wally's deal saved everyone but our variant" and the point I was making then still stands
To me it spells out as such:
We take the deal, we get the powers, everyone does, and we get saved. In a cheeky move of unknown motives (though I suspect it was to give wally a way to break free even easier hence cameo at the end of TNW), Wally spawns off the drifter (+timeline), who doesnt get void powers and in his timeline, nobody gets saved.
This would then fulfil "save everyone" because everyone on the OP's side gets saved and "didnt say you" because drifter, the variant of OP, doesnt
Hmm about that supporting point to Drifter taking no deal... I guess in the "Drifter had a deal" interpretation, I would include the interpretation of the NW deal scene... Which is that Operator made the deal on behalf of Drifter, and that the scene was Drifter's past... So the powers wouldn't activate until Operator went and did their job.
This I agree, in the more, Wally created the situation where OP would retroactively change the events of Drifter's choice of the deal
Ah I see
and then fusing them into one (but two), which clearly benefitted wally somehow because now we have the zariman, and whatever going down in whispers happening
But in this you still interpret the dialogue as Wally talking directly to Drifter, right? As in telling Drifter they weren't saved?
I guess all of them could mean only operator timeline if that's what we define them as.
So the whole time Wally was talking about saving operator's timeline
yes. while also not contradicting themselves with the "saving everyone" bit
because yknow if save "everyone" therefore must include "you"
thats the idea yeap
Back reading this I gotta say there is a reason I willingly avoid talking about that part of the lore
As a famous author once said "generally anything involving time travel is a stupid idea if you are trying to write a coherent story"
Alternative timeline or universe or whatever are just time travel in disguise
I like to imagine that drifter is the canonical version but he can also choose to appear as a children cause he got mommy issue
Which is way funnier
Drifter is not the Operator. They are alternate versions of each other.
I know he is from "an alternate reality"
It's just that alternative reality as a concept enable so many "what if" scenario it's generally not worth it and I'm not a fan of those
Warframe also directly showed that literally every other version was killed.
We have the Drifter and Operator, nothing more.
And they're also one person after TNW
Or the other versions and timelines were fused into you, like they were with Baro
I have a quick question: Will I ever be able to change Margulis' name back to Lotus?
No option to do that currently, and probably not ever.

So I did Octavia's Anthem (despite the fact I already did New War lol), Hunhow called Ordis as Ordin Kariss?
Is there a way to know more about favourite Cephalon's backstory?
ordan karis's story can be found on the wiki or on the orokinarchives.com
if you want the in-game method you need to find every single cephalon fragment and then within each entry locate a hidden point which will trigger dialogue from ordis
Literally all of them???
yes, but its cephalon fragments, there are other codex entries out there that dont fall under this
you can still find it online lmao
but if drifter moved between timeline what about other character
see, its a mess, its always a bad idea
You are whining about imaginary boogeymen
- If you paid attention to the new war the timelines are theoretical accessible
I highly doubt we'll have a way to jump timelines at will at most we will be able to follow albretch assuming he's jumping timelines and not going back in time
Drifter did also exist solely in the Void since they they were never rescued, though. Likely the only reason we can interact with each other is that.
like who?
if you want to make a boogieman make them more real
what about corrupted Vor
since he is all about the void could he use it to jump to a timeline where he can win and jump back ?
i just dont get timeline stuff
does vor have the knowhow and ability to traverse the timelines opened up by the void
answer: absolutely not
why does the drifter have that knowledge
additionally thats not the way time works for warframe
he doesnt, he wasnt the one that connected the timelines
They.. don't.
so basically he got kidnapped
It's by pure chance, from my understanding.
less chance, more design by Wally
one of the few beings that actually do have the knowhow to do all the timeywimey stuff
Ah.
i swear trying to understand that is just a bunch of gobbledygook, basically my sisyphus stone
its really not that difficult
imagine linear time as a block of wood
every bit of that block is as real as the other
what you experience normally, is that you are but a simple slice of that block
thats you in the "present"
the "past" and the "future" are still all real
now what warframe does is that there are also other blocks, similar if not the same
What Wally has done, is link those two blocks together
something nobody, except maybe for albrecht can do or has done
"but why would you do that, why would you do any of that" jontron
Wally wants to come into our world, and albrecht wanted knowledge.
(At least I think)
so albrecht is just like me

they literally had to give us a lesson on multiverse theory to even slightly understand your not alone
It's literally just multiverse theory though so it's easy to get
basically the operators choice to accept the offer killed every other version of themselves aside from the drifter
two timelines
tenno powers
no tenno powers
from my understanding at least
which is slightly terrifying
I mean, what about them? They don't exist from your perspective. Nothing that they did ever effected you. It literally doesn't matter what happened to those timelines.
Those alternate possibilities fusing into you is the best thing that could happen from their perspective since every other timeline doesn't have the Operator and Drifter make contact there and ends with Ballas blowing up the sun.
You can still try I just think that stuff is not for me tovarishch
I think I like logic far too much to ever understand multiverse
I mean, there is a logic to it
Acting as though a multiverse is illogical isn't logical
The multiverse isn't just anything goes because magic anything that can stem from a choice made is possible
There won't be a universe made of anti matter or one with a sun made of cheese
The multiverse has rules
But I love cheese
Isn't that basically a fancier more wordy version of the "butterfly effect"
The butterfly effect is a lesson in causality not multiverse Theory
And the void has no regard for causality
Ain't that something interesting multiverses only spawn from something capable of thought and choices
Blows up the sun and settles in the tau system
That usually happens cause there's a piece of tech that makes universe hopping ubiquitous and makes every result feel pointless...
Timeline hopping in Warframe isn't gonna be ubiquitous until we figure out exactly what Wally is at the very least. As of now it's just a mechanic to expand the cast of characters involved in the plot, it's not the plot by itself.
WHY DOES CHAINS OF HARROW HAVE TO BE SO SCARY I HAVE ALL THE LIGHTS ON DUDE
RAP TAP TAP
im blocking you for 2 seconds WHY IS IT SO CLOSE TO MY EARS MY SPINE IS SHIVERING
Im guessing youre only just now getting to CoH? Good luck to you, you best hurry up and hit the new war soon
you'll get some more of this with Whispers in the Wall
Hey, Kiddo
How bout this one day you’ll get a few jump scares then you’ll look around and might find something
Then one day you’ll be used to it
DON'T REMIND ME OF THAT CRAP
i did it at midnight
NOT PLEASANT
Don’t disrespect Rap Tap Tap it’s just your friend knocking at your door
I was doing it in broad daylight. 🥲
I did it at like 3am in the dark
And then proceeded to forget that I set rap tap tap as my notification tone some time after I had completed the quest
Don’t forget you owe me
Where are my finger bones kiddo
That's the question, isn't it.

The first scholar looked into the Void and he feared it and his fear took shape do you understand? That’s how all this started
RAP TAP TAP THE MAN IN THE WALL
is not pleasant at midnight with the lights off
I listen to it at midnight all the time
Alternate title for warframe post TNW: eldritch void demon stalks and harasses some kid and his teenage brother.
Me not realizing my operator was js chillin around a corner and seeing a subtitle of "Hey, Kiddo!"
So how did Ballas go from being literal dog on a leash to ruling the entire origin system? Erra had him tied up and was forcing him to say things, and Ballas was cowering. But then suddenly he is above Erra somehow during New War?
check the ending of the cutscene, you see erra drop the leash and ballas stand up, all of that was a trick to fool natah
O OK I didn't see that
Still though why are the sentients serving Ballas?
I figure they'd just kill him and rule the system themselves.
It's not like Ballas can do anything for them. Sure he 'killed' the Operator, but literally anyone could do that.
They follow him because he's tricked Erra
How did he trick Erra?
Or I suppose, more he convinced Erra to side with him
Ballas: Yo, genocidal invader from another system, let me lead you.
Erra: Why?
Ballas:
Erra: Ok
Erra is gullible and Ballas just fed into his flaws
Other people in this server literally say it stupid automod
Then Erra is a damn fool
He is, yes
There's also a faint implication (to me, at least) that Ballas is controlling Erra to some degree or another. When Natah is remembering her conversation with him, she's pretty sure Erra was killed during the Old War. Erra avoids the topic and hurls her into Praghasa's control throne. If Natah's memories are correct, then Ballas could be the one who brought Erra back to life during the long long period of time where he's just missing from history. Erra could feel like he owes Ballas, or may have even been implanted with commands the way Natah was.
However, one of the main takeaways is that Natah's memories are in fact very disjointed at this time, and this theory isn't supported by any other evidence. The New War also makes it pretty clear that Erra has joined with Ballas out of his own free will.
On the topic of Erra and the whole 'genocidal invaders from another system thing', I'm also curious as to why Erra had a change of heart all of a sudden towards the end.
He just randomly decides to help the Last Tenno (is the player still called that?) get to Natah before she can get corrupted by Ballas despite the fact that he already tortured her and allowed Ballas to kill her by cutting off her hand and casting her into the rift
He was resistant to Hunhow's attempts to make him see reason the entire time. He tried to kill us several times but it's only after Natah is a half-revivified Eidolon coming after Ballas that he decides he's gonna help?
All in all New War and the Prelude is missing a bit of crucial information. And if said information does exist in the form of Codex entries or something like that, why wasn't it all in the quest front and centre? That's just bad writing.
Its still good though
I liked playing as New War Drifter. And Kahl and Veso.
Being some ordinary dude instead of a legendary unstoppable mythical death monster that many people don't even believe is real, is a pretty cool change of scenery.
Kahl is just some Grineer dude, Veso is closer to a civilian bystander who was just caught up in a matter of necessity than an actual Corpus fighter, and the Drifter is an alternate version of the Operator who doesn't have his powers yet. Just a pistol and a zappy stick.
Teshin gameplay was pretty cool as well, but I hate how he died so unceremoniously and unnecessarily. He kept saying no to letting the Tenno in for no reason.
Because he finally figured out ballas wont give erra what he wants
Idk man sometimes the crucial information is there in the cutscene, no dialogue just action
Note that with most of erra's appearance in TNW Erra was trying to rule Sol, right before we encounter him changing sides, Ballas announces to everyone that he was going to nuke Sol.
So you can guess easily why Erra doesnt like that
the last tenno?
It is a term that I have seen in the Wiki as a name for the player character. You yourself are 'The Last Tenno'. I assume it's an archaic/outdated name considering the game is ten years old and the lore has changed massively since the beginning (Warframes are still called 'armour' - "Masters of the Warframe armour" - in a Codex entry or the wiki page for the Tenno faction)
it’s definitely inaccurate given how we’re definitely not the last tenno
i said definitely twice
He didn't seem to have a problem with destroying the sun in the beginning seeing as he has a literal sun eating warship in his fleet.
Maybe he eventually changed his mind after seeing how amazingly unhinged Ballas is
My guy thats his mom and the ship that carried all the sentients there in the first place. Her role wasnt to eat the sun from the get go
Bro had a meltdown over literally one person (Drifter) not bowing to him
Someone's parents never learned to say no
The reason why praghasa can eat the sun is because she was meant to consume materials to turn into resources for the sentients, which ballas co-opts to eat the sun
So no, erra does have a problem with eating the sun
yeah, it’s the mother Natah and Erra keep talking about in Sacrifice and the preludes
well Erra doesn’t talk about her in Sacrifice but Natah does
Its not just a warship
Behold Praghasa
even Pazuul mentions her as mother
“carcass of my mother, flame devoured… behold me” or something like that
[Insert Yo Mama Joke]
"Bones of my father, fathom drowned...behold me. Carcass of my mother, flame devoured...behold me. Limbs of my children, piecemeal, unblinking...behold me."
Pazuul
god i love these lines
While not confirmed, Praghasa's design comes from concept arts of The Original Sentient
Oooo
i don’t fully agree with that given how Natah and Pazuul specifically talk about Hun and Prags but it’s a possibility
i mainly believe they sent a couple of specialized sentients that then split into more but not just Prags
hence her being a carpenter and Hunhow a farmer
they were sent in a group to take care of various tasks in Tau, and then split into the entire species
Doesn't Hunhow say the Archons are Erra's children?
but that’s just my theory
Or is that just a word used in place of 'made by him'?
he said he made them
pazuul specifies that “the mother and the father made the beasts, and the Ram was to rule them” or something similar
erra took the beasts’ bodies after they died and spliced them with warframes, making the archons
Aye
Yea no thats fair, Im just saying that if the relation between the concept art and prag's final design is true then prag would be whats left of the mothership
makes sense
Is there lore for thr Archons?
Are like, the Sentient parts aware of their current state being fused with Warframes, etc?
the thing I said is mainly because of Natah’s comment and how it’d make sense to send more specialized sentients to do various jobs instead of just one that’d split
the sentient parts are the consciousness
the warframe bodies are not aware, the beasts are in control
Yes, the Sentient parts are aware, and they are not happy: "On Tau, the Owl was solitary. He seemed to think himself above us and recognised the Ram alone as an equal. To be mutilated like this, turned into a weapon, was humiliating for him."
if natah adopted the tenno as her children and her brother erra made the archons doesn't that technically make them cousins in a roundabout not really kind of way
If you wanna stretch it that way, then yes
But in a sort of..frankenstein-esque kinda way
like I kinda sorta not really
but wouldn't that mean that new war is just one massive family squabble with moms ex
no I'm not high I just have ADHD
Warframe: Family Drama
one giant family sitcom
if adoptive children can be viewed as someone's cousin
boy do i know some people who are cousins with cats and dogs....
i mean thats how it would legally work if pets were considered children
ay I need help finding warframe traces in the sacrifice quest
im somewhat colorblind (no seriously) and the color of the synthesis scanner and the gloe of objects kinda blends onto the same colorscope for me
Im not sure if/how much it will help, but I think there is a colorblind filter in the display settings to change up the contrast?
in past that. part im stuck on is tryna face umbra as just the operator. I dont like playing as operator its not fun
oh, that part is kinda tricker because its a lot less forgiving that most of of the rest of the game. Id focus on taking it slowly, using cover and void mode to heal.
he sees me in void mode
@safe dust you are able to shoot umbra yes?
And then after a certain point you deal 0 damage yes?
Once it hits that point, void sling into him
Im done for the night. blocked the three stooges i have a headache. but thanks tho. Im on the last part i think
I jus wanted to avoid spoilers but mentioning amps was confusing cuz I been gone for mad long
In that case then my advice should be in the correct spot. One more thing, after you void sling, press your transference button near him, that should wrap up the scene. The game should ideally tell you this, but given the likelihood of gamers being too focused to notice the hud Im telling all the same
And its not even "after a certain point". I know what the stun looks like for me to void sling into him, problem is I just dont do enough to his shields fast rnough before I die and restart
Hm, for this void sling should be able to put you in the tree in the area where you can be safe
What safe area, is in the void. Its all open
Its a terrible bit of the quest, where underpowered amps, and "unfocused" (in that they have not invested in the focus tree) operators dont have the means to blitz umbra
Hm? Isnt this in the lua tile?
The room youre in should have a tree iirc, you should be able to sling yourself onto the tree, I've done it before, before sling was sling, so it should be easierish now
If not: if theres high ground take it
naramon has a thing called opening slam, gonna invest in that
i dont have any zen lenses
I have three naramons that I use cuz Im purely melee focused
You don't need Zen lenses unless you don't have Zen unlocked.
Theyre still at the sacrifice, chances are they dont have the trees all unlocked
Okay.
I dont. just naramon and unairu
ok so I unlocked opening slam, how do I use that
It has a description what does the description say?
performing a slam as operator switches you back to the warframe and grants double combo gain for 10 seconds
I aas assuming that even without being able to use a frame for this part thst I could still use it. Guess not.
Im watching a video on it, radial blind is just an instant death.
So how did Pazuul ended up possessing Erra's body?
The way Erra worded his last words during New War said that the third Archon was the last
So how the heck did Pazuul came along?
Did he say it was the last?
"ARRRRRG!!! The Final Archon....."
Or was Pazuul a rejected one? Too crazy to control?
Maybe when he said the final he meant final we face
🤔
Or maybe Pazuul was built by someone else
Narmer loyalists I suppose
Ngl, can't blame them
Aside from the Tenno, the other two major factions are crappy as heck.
In Narmer, they can live in bliss. False bliss, but bliss nonetheless
It’s implied Pazuul was put into Erra by Praghasa
But I though Granny Phrag's mind died long time ago
The Mother and the Father shaped the creatures. The Owl. The Snake. The Wolf. And the Ram, who ruled them all. It was glorious, and the creatures were content. The Ram smiled among new creations' blue blades."
That actually explains your main question
There was a 4th
You abandoned me. In the hour of my sacrifice, you turned your face away. And so, there is no place for you in the eternal fields of Tau
This would be before they where Archons
Ballad and tenshin is dead
Ballas yes. Teshin is not.
Teshin, still alive in the cave: STOP TELLING EVERYONE IM DEAD
Tenno: Its almost as if I can still hear his voice
Do we get missions where we play as Veso-R, like we play as Kahl?
For Profit." The ship fires into the heart of the Murex, destroying it as the resulting shockwave causes the Corpus Ship to break apart, killing Veso
RIP Veso-R
What the hell are you thinking
My brother in void that was from the start of the year what do you mean
What
People in fortuna can never have children
Not exactly
Y ?
There’s children in Fortuna
If they still have the old parts they can...

They explicitly talk about having children: "We can't afford to pass on able hands. Not at the rate we breed."
Also where do you think the Ventkids come from?
From the vent ?
my brother in void, the vent cannot give birth to real children
Yeah the Vent are for sus people, so vent kid are actually impostors ?
No Protea is the Imposter
But she live in a golden hand not vent
Not that we know
<@&778745217037238293>
On it
What
Something that was a problem.
lemme guess, bots raiding the server?
And then the spider was friendly.
I just realised one of the Archon's boss fights in New War happens in Alad V's arena
I didn't notice but did now, that you pass through the lab that always spawns before Alad's arena
Oh it's Nira. I remember
The Mag Prime Snake Archon.
It doesn't always happen there. Each Archon has a few large tiles where they can spawn, and the Archon Hunt will pick two for the fight (because there are two stages). Alad V's laboratory is one of the possible tiles but won't always get picked. It's just standard map tile generation like in normal missions.
For the New War quest specifically or all Archon Hunts?
Ah yeah I was talking about Archon Hunts. I think the quest missions have predefined layouts (not random generation), but I never fought Nira in the quest (I saved her for last so she doesn't appear in her normal arena). I do think you're right that in TNW it chooses Alad V's laboratory as one of the tiles.
The first tile was the big square room with square glass pillars in the corners and a big square glass cube in the centre. The next was Alad's boss room where the Stalker arrived to finish the Archon for me and handed the shard.
I left the owl until last I think. It surprised me to know that despite Nataruk being called the only thing that can pierce an Archon, I deleted that dude with the Gotva Prime lmfao
I actually expected Sirocco to work just as well considering the Void is toxic to Sentients and Archons are part sentient
Then again, they're also part Warframe which focus the Void so
Also Nira calls upon Amalgams in the fight. Well the sortie thing.
Also Archon Hunt Archons aren't annoying to fight anymore yay.
I love that amalgams are in nira boss fight, they make the mission worse
Because they can fully heal nira
I mean the fight is ten times easier and more accessible so it doesn't matter as much now but before I would agree.
New archon player seeing Nira fully heal because of one moa that is smelling the floor
New night wave rewards
still waiting for kalashnikov prime
Anyone have any interesting last theories they want to share before the devstream Friday?
We knew this.
This is how I know people don't read all the patch noted and announcements.
I think it's more to show off how the new cosmetics look in-game. We were told of the new rewards but not really shown them.
Oh I clicked out before then my bad.
Is Erra dead?
As of New War
Yup, not dead.
I will never believe that he is dead. The dude survived void beams from six different Tenno but dies heroically sacrificing himself holding up part of a collapsing ship?
Sentients don't die normally, since their consciousness doesn't break down.
Hell nah
Oh really?
Where can I read about that
Every "Sentient" you fight is a part of a bigger sentient
Does that mean Hunhow having a connected consciousness out of every part of himself is true for every Sentient?
Yup
Oh cool
That's just how they work
I thought that was specific to Hunhow.
Point is, if you rip off a Sentient's head and stick a different Sentient on it, you haven't killed the original
You see a part of lotus in Natah quest
Hence why Pazuul's so crazy
Yeah
Awesome
Each Archon was something bigger. They're just fragments now.
But Praghasa (it's implied) ripped off Erra's head and substituted Pazuul's.
How did Hunhow get into the Ocean?
Given what we know, he presumably let himself be shot down over Uranus as part of the plan to disperse the fleet and come back later
He needed to be intact enough to not go eidolon, while broken enough to convincingly hide
So by way of Eternalism, the Drifter is the Operator if they weren't saved from something. What is that something? The Paradox? Or the Zariman?
That's the Paradox, yes
As I understand it, the Drifter made the Paradox. Is that false?
That the two alternate paths met, in order to continue their path
It is false, the paradox is a paradox because both sides initiated it
Also is the Operator we get control of in New War, the same Operator that Ballas struck down, or a different one?
The Operator doesn't exist without getting the Lotus hand from the Drifter, and the Lotus hand doesn't exist without the Operator
It's the same operator, yes
How did they survive getting stabbed in the heart?
Tenno are extremely hard to kill
Is that what Ballas meant by 'you can't kill the devil'?
It's possible, but Ballas was lazy and didn't launch them into the sun properly
Or artificially age them into dust
Tenno are immortal but can die
He made the mistake of thinking that a void bath would obliterate the Operator instead of letting shenanigans happen
To think we haven't seen an Operator go full void power beast mode yet. All we've seen is gameplay abilities and the occasional void beam and transference.
Imagine if they decided to run hands and go full Dragon Ball, warping everywhere and moving stupid fast.
Imagine trusting the Void
That's probably what Wally wants
Like even with a base Void Sling you can travel quick.
Once you break causality you can't get it back
I remember seeing something along the lines of "I saved them, all of them. Never said I'd save you."
That's one of the Duviri tablets, yeah
if you mean the paradox specifically, thats false, if you mean duviri, then yes
Also now that I think about it the Tenno are probably a few steps away from becoming Void Angels.
not really no
Different paths
Aye
Tenno are very much alive as compared to the holdfasts who are dead, and are at risk of turning into angels
The void angels are made from already dead consciousnesses
Ah yeah I forgot about the "being dead" part lmao
Also our existence silences wallys song
the Tenno are changed, the Holdfasts were made
So we're not at any risk of becoming a void angel
Wally can sing?
It's a real shame there's no way to help the lost Holdfasts
Yonta talks about reconstruction of the past
I wonder if DE's holding that idea in their back pocket for a Zariman expansion
Introduce new NPCs via "saved" void angels
Didn’t we save the Holdfasts?
We did
There used to be thousands
Wasn’t it the angels that were making sounds?
No the requilliry driven was the source
So I guess I understand why the Undercroft has a lot of the Zariman in it
Zariman is wedged inside of a void field of some kind. I reckon the other side of it is the Paradox
The Drifter turned his Zariman into Duviri
the other side is Duviri yes, thats why you can see duviri if you look at the rift
You can see the Paradox from the Zariman
But it's still connected to the Zariman because... Well, it is the Zariman
"If we remove the Zariman from the rift we'll be seeing void storms from here to Venus"
Void Fissures in Pluto:
Yeah I thought so.
So the Zariman is what's keeping the Origin System and Duviri from imploding on themselves and each other then
Do you think it's just the two planes themselves being incompatible with each other, or the rift connecting them together?
So is the actual Void on the star chart just a small piece of it that exists in the system?
Imma try to explain it but Im not sure how accurate this is: imagine reality is a matress, and the void is like a fitted sheet over that mattess - sometimes holes open between the two, or they kind of overlap - thats void fissures and void storms. and the Zarimain is like pin pushed through both the sheet and the mattress.
yeah, I chose the most boring simile ever.
no
thats just a visual representation for navigation's sake, thats not the actual void present in the system
Aye
The Origin system, sure. The Zariman had no bearing on the status of Duviri, other than being a bridge.
Nope, nope, do not like new war, this part sneaking by the deacons is giving me serious anxiety...
where are you there
send screenshot
Is the forest on earth...?
orb valis, sneaking by the deacons
No way around it, just go metal gear mode...
Pretty sure it is, the sneaky sabo with Karl...
Its the factory in fortuna yeah
Drifter sneak section, csnt use abilities or anything and these deacons have wicked far line of sight
Yea no way around it, stay out of sight and crouch a lot...
Best not to rush this part...
I cant stop shaking this is stupid
im tryna take my time but its just ramping up the anxiety the longer im here
I kinda forgot already where are the spots that u can hunkered down while u plan ur move...
I don't enjoy it...
have you finished yet?
I just ate dinner, but I think im almost done

Yep done with that part
Im not gonna miss this story this is the worst
Story wise its really good, but the high intensity of stress is not it
dawg these fights is taking WAY too long
3/10 for new war mechanics
nataruk's damage reduction is so abyssmal......vs the damage you take....
I am n o t having fun
you are charging the nataruk appropriately right?
No I absolutely am, just didnt know about interrupting healing phases at all
missed hunhows explanations huh
I didnt miss it, the first fight took way too long for me to remember
Also dealing with anxiety and adhd
Okay serious spoiler chat, ima do this blurs.
||Is there any future change in choosing to finish the New War as the Drifter or Operator?||
Not really any difference. After the new war, you can freely switch between playing as either.
you don't need to spoiler that, you're in spoiler chat
but to answer your question, only a bit of dialogue changes, nothing else
I know that, but I know in other servers im in that have similar channels, spoiler chat includes everything that new players dont know about and wanna ask, it's basically just habit for me lol
Last part for the blur, cuz im kinda....confused here.
||I already beat Boreal and Nira, if I choose Operator do I fight Amar as the Operator?||
if they're here they'll have to bare the consequences
tbh at that point you can just fight the archon in warframe, after dealing with the sentient stuff
I can? How?
there will be fields that prevents you from transfering into warframe, take those out and you're good
You'll see
for now just continue with the story
I kinda like the drifter gameplay, Nataruk is prolly my favorite bow besides Mutalist Cernos
sadly that's the only part drifter utilising a primary, secondary and melee
paracesis only
I got good news and bad news, but only pertinent when you finish TNW
bad news first please thanks
finish TNW then
you wont get that kind of drifter gameplay anymore unless youre in duviri
Meh, wasn't big on duviri. not gonna finish it anyway. my eyes were hurting.
still, no primary in duviri
The whole....grey/color evershifting thing, because I have a slight degree of colorblindness, was legit making my eyes hurt
Drifter wielding any modded primary would just make everything piece o' cake
I shoulda chosen drifter

there's.... always ppl who upload vids abt the difference between picking op or drift for that
gameplay for drifter and operator should be the same beyond that point already
just ascend then
at some point it'll reach the maximum height the game allows and will lower you when you're near the point if needed
Lotus is actually Natah and Natah is actually Magulis
She doesn't have her memories or anything.
more like natah cosplaying as margulis
The 3rd crab of fortuna never got release because of how it look
Not true.
3rd crab is in the works (likely as a narmer objective)
Didn't they say at tennocon they hadn't forgotten about it and something was in the works?
that was the AMA
That's what I was thinking, I wasn't entirely sure on that
Guys, I didn't know Albrecht Entrati was in Watch Dogs, that's so crazy
First we have Jetstream Sam Excalibur, now we have Watch Dogs Entrati
the website is just broken
Why does Albrecht look fearless?
Cause he a OG
So, I have kind of a nagging problem with Qorvex...
Namely, he seems like just a poorly done amalgamation of the worst parts of the most popular warframe kits... so, here are some changes that I'd love to see to his base kit to make him actually feel like his own frame:
1st ability: totems - a stationary AOE that does low damage and slows enemies is... okay? I think this one can be saved with an augment that causes it to strip... 15% enemy defenses per pulse?
2nd ability: this one is pretty cool on paper and would have its uses, but I think it's seriously missing something. So, why not make it a knockdown ability instead of just a stagger?
3rd ability: ah yes, viticarious metastasis... please, just make this do anything else. Maybe give each plate its own health buffer to work as a cross between mesmer and iron skin? This ability is lacking literally anything to make it even stand out against other abilities available.
4th: ah yes, the wisp laser... but worse. I propose literally just making it deal heat damage. This change alone would actually at least make it into its own ability.
I'm not sure if this is all artifacting from trying to rush the demo or not, but the abilities as they stand in the showcase, leave even originality to be desired. It feels like a punch in the stomach from DE to give us all this interesting stuff... only for the warframe to come with it all to be uninspired and mechanically boring.
Man’s looks like a transformer and I love it
Same. His abilities look cool so I’ll def try and build him when he comes out
Most of it just comes from overspecializing on the whole Radiation thing, since it really looks like they want the enemies to just keep shooting each other with all the rad procs
Yeah... too bad that's also wisp's thing with her laser. I feel like if the 4th did heat damage as well as an explosive impact per stack of radiation on a target it'd be a lot more unique without breaking the power balance. His kit just presents itself as this terrible copy-paste of all the bad parts of other abilities...
Totems? You're limited by their duration and a max count of 2, they're completely stationary, and I wouldn't be surprised if they hard capped at 45% slow each forcing you to stack them to get a 90%... walls? Actually kind of cool, if you ignore the fact it's just a toss-together of Atlas and Caliban's worst abilities, without the benefits of armor strip or full ragdolls... the third ability is just giving the mesmer shield augment to vicarious metastasis, which, why are they giving an ability native to the mouth in the wall to a warframe?... and yeah, the laser is 100% just a watered down wisp beam.
well, youre thinking of Hideous Resistance and not Voracious Metastasis. VM is giving energy for energy. But also from what pablo said his 3 apparently can regenerate on Kill? As for his 4, there is some action going on with the beams post explosions that make it a smidge better than wisps.
but I do agree that the commitment to radiation results in a scaling problem, because armoured targets are going to largely laugh it off. Fortunately we can already bandaid that by subsuming over anything but his 3 (since free PSF is just free PSF). From the way his kit goes, My best guess is pillage, since duration doesnt seem to be that important, and even the pillars seem to have a long duration when unmodded, ergo long enough duration when running negative duration.
wait is that not on purpose? Idont know whts happening i watch the trailer and was just like WTF?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that
So what do Oppo and Dorifto switch between each other the way they do?
Wdym?
When you take Lotus to her throne, you switch between the two while they talk one at a time
Between scenes they switch between each other to talk to her
Can they not be on the same plane as each other?
Even in the scene where they're eating in the Dormizone, Drifter starts to... kind of fall apart in a way?
Cause 2 entities of the same identity can't coexist in the same universe
