anything void i dont consider. its wizardy
Cephalons are literally the digitized minds of glassed people
It literally is the person though
Like I don't agree or disagree i am just saying that like a part of warframe literally is this.
It isn't
like a lot of the story is exploring this.
Cephalons are literally just a person in digital
Would you say that you are a person if someone took your mind out? Your whole conciousness, memories, everything except your physical body?
okay Orokin take away the memories of people and the implant themselves there.
That's not corpses work at all
last thought before i head out but after seeing the vessels for the first time i was expecting some evangelion stuff, but instead it was more like nier
We might still get some Evangelion here
we explicitly get some evangelion with those vessels it seems
The vessles look like giant versions of Duviri citizens
Whats Evanlegion about?
And it creates a question about transference which we should have already had asked when we could transfer to a necramech.
Do you think that with this whole cross save comming they'll do an event for switch to migrate again?
It's cross save, there's no reason for a migration
Just merge them
I doubt they will make it 'trade between consoles' example a trade between an xboxer V switch.
The switch community is basically none existent so it would give the last few fighting tenno a chance to thrive in the upcomming content on a more lively platform.
Cross trade is coming
You cannot merge nintendo switch, last i checked.
With Cross save thats what they will make happen
I hope it does come to that. The switch platform is so quiet these days. Pc is much easier for a bundle of reasons.
In the early days DE said they did want to do account merging when cross save came out. That was a long time ago, and we have not had an update if that was really feasible or not. We will have to see in the next few months.
A fingers crossed situation 🥲
Did you turn crossplay off or something
what do you mean with merge?
I am suffering from such extreme (into the) void exposure
We all have been since yesterday.

It's just all of us in lots chat trying to guess what's gonna happen before the Updates come out
Okay let's ignore 1999 for a second even the like Whispers Trailer I didn't expect it to be like that LORGE of a area and I didn't have Human Loid on my list of things that would happen.
i did always wonder about the subterranean of the cambion drift i mean the skybox makes it look incredibly tall
I want the book. It's time to become educated
Shadow warframe money gang, we love casting spells
Oh folks, I wanted to ask about into the void. (having come out in the year 1999, to introduce an update named that same year) i want to know if you think the lyrics or even the name into the void has even an ounce of significance wether it be, a developers favorite song or even a hint towards what we are to expect
Because the line “talking to myself all the way to the station” seems to hint or it could be coincidence because arthur was seen in a train station in the beginning of the trailer
Consider that once you enter the actual combat tileset, you are no longer on deimos
I think they meant more about the deeper areas where Albrecht and "original Loid" (Arthur?) were doing all their void machination fuckery with the Vessels
That area isnt that large
But during the combat section you are greeted by giant gaping landscapes
yea that looks to be void
but there is combat in the lab too
you know, with the mechs...
it will probably be like the Zariman
if i am to have a GUESS
Tardis
nah, I think the moment you load in to the mission area youre in the void already
theres a reason why you walking into a fancy room and have spinning rings and flashing lights
What does that even mean
right on the border of void and origin system?
It could also be false space? Like interior is bigger than it is on the outside
Might as well be shoved into the void already
oh i meant on like how the missions and stuff will work.
like having a hub and then doing like Missions with bounties and things.
Can i talk about the tennocon stuff here?
if you want.
Ok i can, is 1999 gonna be an update or a new game
update.
Ok cool
oh then yes, they've confirmed a hub so you can expect bounty type missions
Yeah. Idk who all the NPCs will be unless we find more sleepers or something.
Or Necramech pals.
How many boyfriends will albretch have
Necraloid is being stretched thin with the amount of jobs he has, mining standing (yes Ik it’s not really him but still), necramech standing and if he is in the new hub as well he’s gonna be flying all over the Necralisk
"go back to your duties construct" says necraloid as he has initial D playing in the background while flying all over the necralisk
This is gonna be so fresh
It could be that even with Albrecht woken up, it's too late to stop the motion of the plan(s)
Yeah but the cat tho? It's not like Wally would have use of the cat
Have you not had a pet before?
Had
Also this pet was with him when he first discovered Iike a way to actually use the Void for space travel.
It was his Kavat and Daughter just hanging out helping him.
No? It's just a kavat he really likes.
if they were really trapped there walbrecht wouldnt have a kalymos with him
but also people really out here saying possession this possession that
I feel like if you could have your pet time travel with you would.
Will warframe come to android as well or is it just ios😔
It will be on Android as well, it's just going to iOS first.
Because iOS is a smaller range of devices, easier for them to optimize the game for that set of devices.
i want to see human loid interact with otak
is 1999 after the witw cutscene?
I'd say it's the opposite tbh
is the coffin a time travel thing?
1999 will most definitely be after witw
I'm talking about the intro cutscene from witw compared to 1999 chronologically
not how they take place in the story
I stand by what I said
This might help not sure
yes i know it's coming later
Its far easier to handle when we stop looking at dates and started looking at the sequence in which events occur
I also wanna know if, as far as Albrecht's design is concerned, the walls were supposed to yeet away after you meet the operator doppelganger.
Or if that's a post New War development
but does that cutscene take place before or after 1999
I still say before
that's what I'm saying too
You said 1999 is before tho
oh wait nvm
What entertains me is how many people playing this game weren’t even alive during 1999. I absolutely love that DE is clearly playing into the Y2K panic that people were going through with the new millennium coming. So many terrified that we’d lose technology cause computers would go haywire with the way the dates tick over.
I wonder if the "technocyte" in 1999 Is trying to replicate the future technocyte but literally can't 😭 so it just grab electronics things without being capable of taking full control
Or maybe since it's not robot, it can't mess with it ?
Do you think 1999 is in the Void?
No,
I think it's the pre-warframe era where the infestation began on earth ?
Making literally world war z
Oh, during those "adverts" leading up to WF '99, the number or year 1993 showed up a few times too. This mean anything?
Possible
Entrance to 1999 is likely due to void
The year DE was started
Ah, company anniversary easter eggs then.
"pre-warframe era" is an extremely large timeframe
They actually said on the stream it was the company's 30th year of existence
Ah, missed that part of the stream then.
True, maybe "proto warframe" as they have cybernetics but are still lacking because of them being humans (fatigue,coughing,etc...) which is confirmed from 1999 ?
Ballas: "We took our greatest, volunteers or not, and polluted them with these cultured reagents. They transformed. They became Infested..."
Ballas: "... but only just. Their skin blossomed into sword-steel. Their organs, interlinked with untold resilience. Yet their minds were free of the Infested madness. Or so we thought. We set them upon the battlefield, bio-drones under our command."
It's also told on the description that we go back in time ?
No
There is an extremely clear difference between what ballas is talking about and what arthur has going on
Firstly, arthur has his head still normal, this isnt what supposed to happen when your entire body is turning into a frame
Secondly, arthur has an excal body, this means its should be geared for tenno control, given that "arthur" is not a placeholder name for us, arthur isnt meant to be controlled by an external operator
Moreover the fact that arthur is using rudimentary weapons, weapons that shouldnt be as basic as that, means that what arthur has strapped to his body isnt from the right time
that's why i said "proto warframe"
They're not the warframe that we knew but what they had in minds, like cybernetics human with capability and powers 🤔 but since they're still human they have also the problem of being humans ?
Still wonder then if the power of voruna would be the same, or if it's in this universe it also mean she could be the most op warframe because she has 4 dogs 😭
1999 isnt some magic return to the old war
Even that cannot be true
Old War is a future event way after 1999
Frames were made during the old war, standard issue zero-tech weapons back then werent AKs
would be crazy if they do a quest that literally send you to the memory of the old war
copium lore : the ak-47 is the proto-braton lol
Whatever arthur has going in is not a case of "oh this must be the first warframe ever"
mhh i see what you're saying
this is quite interesting to see that arthur and Aoi are pretty much the ancestors of excalibur/mag
I wonder if there will be explanation on how their power work 😮
But i guess it's fully technological
Would be crazy to see ember raining down meteor 😭
"ancestors" like theyre not going to be anachronistic versions
I wonder if 1999 only has 2 people alive
I doubt
Most likely a version of rhino,ember,etc... Could still be alive but it would also require more VA.
Could be that Aoi or Arthur will say that they're doing things on earth
We will probably see more in the quest but DE love to poster-boy trailers with frame variants
i love the enemies's design from whispers of the void
Sound very cool and potentially difficult boss 😮
If epitaph didn't exist
I wonder who that white head is of
"most likely"
Or more like theyre just going to have arthur and aoi and thats it
maybe a second rhino that just died on the ground with his corinth prime 😭
i do hope that it's only arthur and aoi ngl
like imagine voruna and she just eliminate everyone with her 4 wolves 💀
People gonna one shot it lol
200% they will go hemocyte route (mhh 500 damage cap)
archons are getting one shoted, i guess that they will go this route bcz of how unbalanced weapons are lol (well thank god incarnon system exist)
Oneshotting or not, I am here for the loot, story, and atmosphere. And the Whispers in the Walls update is OOZING with atmosphere.
Its 100 times better than duviri
i do hope that it's better than duviri, duviri is pretty good overrall
Even tho the most annoying is circuit because players quit after few rounds😭
Deimos gonna be massive when the update comes out
Also, willing to bet the people that complain about oneshotting are likely spamming the same meta as everyone else. There’s like 500 weapons in the game, people. Try them all, and find the ones that are fun, even if they’re not godlike. Find a way to make them work. There’s your personal endgame.
Im gonna use stug for the boss
Even the weapons of old are still more advanced than the weapons we used today
Duviri is a single player update to me. I tried a couple multiplayer rounds. But it was the run I got once where I had Revenant as a choice, and had the Mesmer augment to keep Allies invincible, along with Grendel’s nourish. In addition to Kuva Nukor. I basically said “How long you all wanna go?” And they were like “As long as we can.”
…Apparently that meant round 3. From that point forward, I have only done any Duviri content solo.
Unless the percussion rifle used in the mag prime codex mean the percussion rifles from 1820
this kind of things make me angry, like...
This content is messy 😭
Meanwhile I’ll solo Steel path circuit up to like 23 rounds.
Depending on the load out I get
When Whispers or 1999 comes out, would it be a good idea for DE to sell a replica of Albrecht’s hat as merch?
In the name of grofit, yes
Everyone would buy it lol
They should sell the coat
Also I have a question, which depiction of Albrecht is correct? Like the Orokin with the sick dreads or dude with the P3 Jotaro getup?
I think the new one
My theory is Albrecht took continuity once and got himself a better body
But didn’t Albrecht swear off continuity after his encounter with our favorite eldritch horror(Wally)?
He did but this is 1999
He probably already had a body spare before meeting Wally and decided to use it
Ah, so what’s the deal with him and his Kavat entering the cryo pod thingy as his 1999 body? I was under the presumption that this was well into the Orokin era?
He is still in there i believe
To put himself in a quantum superposition
I really gotta stop trying to understand the void and chronology in Warframe’s lore
He probably had a body he put in a coffin and slept or the coffin had some magic and changed his appearance
Quantum superposition arnt related to time
It's schrondingers cat (kavat)
Medicore did you get the proof for experiment 9 yet?
Experiment 9?
Yea
My alliance member is still wrong because this can't be referring to umbra because umbra found this and was going to snitch on ballas for it
Experiment 9 could've been anything
A random peice of lore that was never elaborated on
Ok
Yep
It will probably come with cross save
Parts?
Stages
Basically some updates will prepare some under the hood changes for crossave
Like the console plat change?
They mentioned more backend stuff like preparing for database merge and such
I want cross trade and Clan
I want save so people stop asking when its coming
And it will bring more players
So many are waiting for save to start playing again
They keep going on and on about it lol
Its the biggest question in Warframe history at this point
Definitely
Man in the wall send you to his domain
The banger ost :
On Twitter, you see loads of people asking for cross-save or saying they wont play until it releases and yes I said Twitter X is deleted from my brain
they really made such a good ost to know that you're in a very dangerous place while it's also a banger is so funny like am i trying to escape or to rave with MITW ?
Someone on reddit sent me a deaththreat because I said be patient for cross save lol
People on the internet be crazy
Yep
What does that translate to?
Oh Hey it was the thing I said.
What do you think would happen if you used Continuity on Wally?
What does it translate to?
I was just thinking it would say it in the Orokin Ipad.
say what?
I was just talking to Medicore about how if Experiment 9 was a thing in the quest it would be on the Vitruvian (Orokin Ipad).
so that translates to experiment 9?
Part of it does yes I think.
We just dont know what experiment 9 is
Idk but the part I care about is in English
I'm sort of adjacent in that I am playing from time to time but I haven't bought any packs or plat in game for like three years as I wait to see how cross save turns out and what pros/cons comes with it.
9th attempt at making Excalibur, possibly.
No, "Subject 9" is written in English in the red circle. The Orokin text on the picture elsewhere says "sample" and "hand".
There's other English text as well but it's quite small
Cant see its too small
i just noticed that the last ost when there was the countdown for tennolive.
It's the OST for whispers of the wall
Which means that we're going to hear hungarian throat singing while we fight abomination
please DE release this song 😭
I just want this banger ost in my somachord (kinda tired of hearing duviri)
And also DE can we do playlist ? instead of hearing every song ?
Tiss what she proclaimed
Is there any information about abyss of dagath ? Like will there be new gameplay involving infested or it's just naberus quest ?
(people thought that it may be the deadlock protocol of infested)
All we know is Dagath's story involves a Naberus tale from Entrati Grandmother. Her component blueprints are likely acquired from the new crypt room buildable in the Clan Dojo.
that would be one of the worst way to introduce a warframe but okay
(the first one is to do another citrine type of gameplay)
Gram Gram will outbid a second corpus because she is bored
oh yeah there will be a dojo room.
if they do that they should just stop making a game and jsut do webcomics
like this would just be the worst way to introduce a warframe 💀
And they're good at making either disappointement or good things
I just hope they do good things
my copium is taking me and i gaslighted myself to hear that they're going to do a quest
They didn't say a quest
Well
I will stop myself of gaslighting me
The only 2 quests they announced were Warframe 1999 and Whispers
so there's no naberus change, it's just : keep farming infested
That's lame
Nabarus is going to teach us about the 54th Warframe
yeahh
But ngl they could just do things like : Add those 3 messed up cetus people (or something like that)
Add the jack'o naut as an enemy
Add whatever dagoth will be fighting
And they could reward ressource 😭
I just wanna see what the room looks like
if it's a graveyard, can nekros spam his 4 ?
You can’t use abilities in dojo rooms
Well you can in duel room
Even tho the controls for them are blacked out
Gray what’re your thoughts on Whispers in The Walls and 1999?
I'm very excited for Whispers in the Walls. Like this is the peak of what I would want. 1999, less so but we'll see. As for specific theories, I generally refrain from speculating on future story direction so I can enjoy the content DE puts out without my own bias influencing it.
That’s fair. I also can’t wait for Whispers to come out
Werid. This update is gonna have like a Lotta QoL and Grandma explaining Dagaths name and stuff so shRug.
ngl i do hope that this could expand a lot more about the infested, given that they've shown her on deimos (copium yes)
Maybe I just am way more base level positive.
even tho, how the hell do you explain a hole in your face 😭
That could be a quest later this year or next year but it could be this quest.
The QoL is just sounds so nice.
she lost her head
that's where she mounts her exalted rpg
Dagath casts: "get rekt"
Anyone have a screenshot of the Fragmented One from the TennoLive trailer? I want to show my friend, but my phone is weird about taking screenshots.
Wally was feeling quirky.
Did the preview stream include what her alt helmet would look like? Not sure how they can keep the theme of no-face, or if they even try to.
Oi
hi i'm brazilian where would be the brazilian chat?
because I want to talk about the games and help
?
when the grimore comes out the wealthy can become statue of liberty
There will be a stream In September talking about it more.
Theory about 1999 :
Later we will find out that they found King Arthur's DNA in the Excalibur Sword... Then they generated this new Arthur in a surrogate with that DNA... That's why he became this super soldier... But that wasn't enough, they wanted to perfect him even more, so they turned it into a Frame.
What if our Warframe components those black marketeers were buying up got loat in the Void, and were spat out in an alternative 1990's, leading to secret agencies reverse-engineering it, trying to weaponise it (resulting in an 'Infested Lite' situation, which is terrible enough for the 1990's, not to mention the Technocyte itself, possible Void entities and the reconstituted Warframes-turned-into-suits)?
I mean sure they get lost all the time (my mental excuse for bosses having a limitless supply of said blueprints), but that is an angle of possibility.
I think 1999 is just the year 1999 in warframes past
maybe the reason Arthur looks like excalibur is because he is the Dax that will become Excalibur Prime
Or just the person, not all frames were made with dax
Most of them were made using """volunteers"""
We know of one actual volunteer
Lol i love all the theorys
its over if game theory makes a video about Warframe lore
They did one time but it was like general knowledge that everyone knew. If they saw what the game is nowadays, they would lose their minds
I know that video,I meant the actual full-on lore, would be fun to watch seeing how they did fnaf lore
Ohh yea that would be super fun to watch. Also nice pfp
thanks buddy,I found this Gauss fanart and it looked amazing so I used it
I feel bad for gauss mains not getting the prime, but I think it's also incredibly funny because of how certain everyone was that the next prime would be gauss
They did say it was gonna be wisp prime then gauss prime or the other way around
Couldn't have been the other way around due to the gender pattern
Yeaaaa one of them was me lol. But hey at least Grendal players are eating good. Gauss and Grendal are buddies after all
Grendel is among my favorite frames, right up there with lavos, nidus and now kullervo
All of them have one thing in common; they be health tanks
never used kullervo, how do he work cause i forgor
Stab stuff. A lot.
alr alr i think i know
First ability is too good. I get 224% additive crit chance from it with just a maxed primed intensify
2 is just overguard generator, 3 chains damage to other nemies caught by it, 4 is a passive combo generator
I rarely get below 12x combo through decay in endless missions
My favorite weapon to use with him is syam because it sends out a shockwave on heavy attacks. His passive increases heavy attack windup speed and has 75% heavy attack efficiency, meaning they only use 1/4th of the combo count
I’m excited for Dagath. She looks really interesting. Plus, we also get her lore too which is nice. I’m glad that newer frames are all getting lore and aren’t just thrown into the game with no backstory
Combine that with everything else and you can get to sanctuary onslaught lvl 7 with just an unranked syam
newer warframes are just better unfortunately
"Newer warframes are just better"
Huh, didn't know wukong, nezha and saryn were new frames
Also, yareli
yareli
Recentness has nothing to do with how good a frame is
its my opinion that the newer a frame is, the higher the likelyhood that it will be more usable within the current state of warframe
therefore making them on average, better
Except that's not the case at all, as the meta still revolves around mostly older frames
All frames are good, there is no "better" or "worse", just more specialized uses
hydroid lol
He's very old and is now getting reworked
:)
Can think of any other examples?
frost to some extent
He's great for defense, usable for everything else
pretty much every warframe is usable
Exactly
never said they werent
If they're usable, they're good enough. Hydroid isn't usable anymore, he really needs that rework
Chroma could probably do with a rework too
Frost also slowly getting buffed.
Frost probably still needs a rework though.
Not entirely, theres a few ice wizard builds out there designed to bring him past defence by making the best defence his offence
Ala avalanche with all those augments
he literally did, it was sponsored
I can 2 shot un armored stripped corrupt heavy gunners with frost at level cap
There's also a funny build where shoving enemies into walls with snow globe does 50% of there hp as true damage
It was also bad, but cant blame him, it was in the early days and he didnt really have that much time to look through everything
Idk dawg red critting breach surges are pretty good
Anyone can do that.
Beach Surge Red Crits with a ham Sandwich.
Very few frames have global cc buffs
i want this so bad
that would be amazing
dunno how you'd integrate into the main story....but then again 1999 exists
I mean, 1999 is a time traveling story about albretch entrati so
Its not hard to see how you can integrate 1999 into the story
We can time travel
anyone else got dejavu from watch dogs and aiden pierce?
Jetstream sam babey
smexy sam
its so old though
i thought it was just a bit before the new war
in terms of "current" lore
it's old
plus he was rushed to get the video out in a certain time frame, didnt have enough time to research a lot, etc
I could get a video that just covers the void and wallys shenanigans and it would be longer and more concise that matpats video
or yknow
Technically a "The #WARFRAME Iceberg Explained" video. Does not include #TheNewWar nor #AngelsoftheZariman. warframe duviri paradox warframe #videoessay

oh my god Byf (the destiny lore guy) did warframe stuff
Byf already struggles to get new destiny lore right💀
I still think this could be better. Also the timeline has actually been flipped a little with Kullevro and stuff.
I need to make a Timeline.
What parts were flipped?
Okay with Kullevro his crimes say the Tenno didn't come out of the like WARP in the Zariman until after they made the proto frames.
That's uh, not what was said in his crimes
It is.
No, its really not
It's said that The Tenno show up.
What does the Arrival of the Tenno Mean?@obtuse gyro
and does it say "arrival from the void"?
it doesnt
What does Arrival mean?
The "arrival" could easily refer to when they were actually incorporated into the warframe project
not when they actually arrived back in system
yes?
Also seemingly they didn't start controlling warframes until after cuz this Is his next crime.
doesnt change what I said about finally incorporating them into the project, they still had to build exca around them
alternatively, silvana comparing the transference project to an orokin war project (in that is better that its not one) might indicate that tenno emergence and care was during the old war
Also all of Duviri seems to have like Clarifications and stuff.
Like specifically saying Kuva is from the Void and stuff.
It's been 10 years since Warframe still hasn't collaborated with other games, when do you think they will collaborate?
With the 2024 Warframe-Fortnite collab.
It is known warframes rebelled against the Orokin, it is known from the vitruvian, the emergence of Tenno and Transference brought them back as means of been weapons and probably the change from been individuals to mass produced models.
Best you're gonna get is the fact Soulframe was at Tennocon and maybe Tennocons in the future
They should end the community war between D2 and warframe by just making those two collabs
Lotus is in smash bros tho
A lore nerd weeps every time this video is posted
Oh void no
Not, it doesn't say it's from the Void, but that it has a property like the Void
I think in the Deimos plaques it reference it but not in name as comming from the void and used for continuity.
Nope it says a void derived
obtain something from (a specified source).
"they derived great comfort from this assurance"
base a concept on a logical extension or modification of (another concept).
"Eliot derived his poetics from the French Symbolists"
(of a word) have (a specified word, usually of another language) as a root or origin.
So any definition of the word derived requires the orokin to know the void exists or for the void to have modified a fluid
That's still the point. The ability to body jump, that's something Void like. Kuva itself isn't from the Void
Derived is not a different word for like atsia
Void like and void derived are 2 different things
Derrive
obtain something from (a specified source
Like
having the same characteristics or qualities as; similar to.
I remember they did a crossover with pubg
What quote says its void derived btw ? Just for the sake of finding it
The zariman tablets from duviri
The question is what is kuva
-
A void derived fluid capable of housing conscious (correct)
-
Something with cephalons I forgor
This makes me think there might be a place on earth that originally gushed kuva
I say this because albrechts logs seem to put continuity pre void discovery
I watched the like Albretch things recently it seems people knew the Void existed just didn't have any way to harness it or anything.
Continuity comes before most things tbh
But also Kuva might just happen? Cuz like the Worm Queen gets it from the air.
So like idk.
Yeah i wonder if they will explain kuva in this new arc
It seems that for the Orokin empire the knowledge of the void was known and they already extracted somehow Kuva from it but until Albrech managed to pass through they dismissed it as a nothing dimention.
Yeah.
If they pulled kuva out of it then they'd know its not nothing
Nothing as you cannot go there, you cannot interact with it and cannot do somethign with it.
Albrech changed that by going there and interacting, this opened many possibilities the most important been the FTL travel.
The void is called that because it was empty and useless
Except all of albretchs studies showed nothing
Not that they couldn't go there
But that it was literally a void no energy no form no entanglement
well they got the Kuva from it because Orokin were "immortal" before Albrech and they used Kuva for it.
The worm can extract kuva without accessing the void
Right but the issue now is kuva Is a void derived fluid
I bet the Void was spitting Kuva into places
So the Albrechs story from the wiki at least says continuity existed before the radiation wars
We need to know when Orokin turned blue because his portrait and the family are big and blue, but he is not.
His logs say it came before smoke aswell
If the Queens succeeded in stealing our body would they have got our powers?
It's just a thing they can do to their bodies if they want.
We have the Skin Dye thing for it.
This thing. Old Orokin Tech.
Wasn’t that just mimicry?
warframe has had a few collabs in the past. someone already mentioned the lotus being a spirit in smash ultimate, then there's the unreal tournament skins, and PUBG mobile had an event where you could earn excal umbra and wukong prime skins.
Well wouldn't you tell your citizens it was mimicry?
Other way around. The fluid isn't from the Void, just it's ability to body jump was found to be related to the Void
Like you don't want people thinking they could be like you would you?
We take it from the air I feel like it's somehow more related than we think.
Also if the only reason Orokin look like they do is from Dying their skin and the Using Body like modification Tech someone could totally pretend to be a Orokin. That would be a cool story that DE could do.
Astia words have meaning
Astia you arguing against the actual lore given to us by de
That is the meaning. The sentence literally says that it's the ability to move consciousness that's void derived
The term derived means according to the Oxford English dictionary
obtain something from (a specified source)
.
A void derived fluid capable of housing consciousness
It doesn't say void derived fluid though
A fluid that obtained the ability to house conscious from the void
What is 'kuva'?
A. Fluid with Void-derived capacity to conduct consciousness (correct)
B. The liquid remnants of departed Orokin saints
Yes, it's ability to body jump is somehow connected to the Void. But the fluid itself isn't, along with all it's other properties
Derived literally means comes from
How is it here before the heart of deimos is open
Why did Wally have to start making Quizframe?
I mean in the Voruna Story it reacts pretty wildy with the Void.
Yeah, the Void reacts to it negatively
So how do we have a fluid with abilities from the void without the void
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be more of a fashion thing than an effect of their body modifications
Void can always break through uncontrolled
Same way we have Incarnon Genesis weapons, Void dip it
Except we don't have void
he does say he will stop taking the kuva like it's something he has done before
Could be an attempt on presenting themselves as divine instead of "mere humans"
It is
so at some point all of them transferred to this form that was further in time than Albrechs disappearance.
the thing is we clearly see blue albrecht dressed like an orokin
Albrecht wasn’t blue tho
Skin color is just as much a fashion choice for the Orokin as choosing your shirt in the morning.
That’s not blue that’s grey if anything
Whatever.
This is a Painting so it probably shows him more Vibrant blue than he actually is.
Also he is blue in the Trailer.
We clearly see a portrait of Albrecht and statues of him who can be made after his disappearance to maintaign the Orokin image.
That's not a natural skin color in Warframe lore as far as the point matters.
that's still not the color he is in the demo
This is werid lighting but he is very light
We clearly see a living human form Albrech.
He’s not blue here either
albrecht was pale in witw and 1999 but we wasn't anywhere close to the orokin we know of, or that painting
Nemesis, the only part that matters is that they're different skin colors.
And that the painting is not a normal skin color
wally doesn't really try to look like people, he just does
Albrecht took Kuva maybe a few times if anything then met a guy who changed his mind
I am saying Albretch is.
Any number of reasons. Kuva could very much be it's own weird resonance deal and connect to the Void and it's own
that's based on the assumption that albrecht didn't just, you know, live in 1999
which is the most logical thing because he has old human tech in his lab
Or he has old tech so the orokin can't spy on him
We also need to solve the issue with the heart of deimos and warframes
It pretty much is. Every painting isn't an exact 1 to 1 with the in game model. The only and the model is his hair
What issue
where would he get that centuries later
Original warframes could be older than the heart making it an issue
He's rich and he's rich
No they couldn't
why?
also he was one of the biggest contributors to the orokin civilization
Original frames were made during the Old War
Because the heart of deimos was made a long time before the Warframes
for what purpose was the hart been made
General Void voodoo
And original warframes were before the tenno
To allow space travel
Most of the technology in existence
The solar rails
Made without Tenno in mind, not before
The terraforming equipment on planets
Warframes were made way after the heart
hm might be I remember a passing mention need to see the transcripts again.
I am not sure about that do we know at what stage of the old war Zariman reapeared?
Main point being that they had a ton of Void tech before so they needed what is basically a Void transistor.
anyways I don't get why people would assume albrecht being in 1999 is shenanigans and he wasn't just alive then
When warframes were made the tenno were on ice and 1 person had a theory that the tenno could control them
That 1 person was named davis
And his theory came long after the warframes were created
It's because of everything else around it. Having Frames powers, the Voidspeech, the Infestation expy
well either Orokin are in existence from antiquity as a secret society and took over after something in our future, or Albrech is time traveling, or wally (or Albrech) created another alternative pocket dimention situated in the past.
1999 is far more likely to just be an alternate reality
My point exactly they were created and put on ice because of their rebelion long before Tenno and the transferance theory became a thing.
Well we know it is not our 1999 since the text is not any known human language.
Or any known language
no one said 1999 in warframe was the same as 1999 in our universe
explaining this with alternate timelines is the opposite of occam's razor
So we cannot know the technosite virus didn't happen back then.
In most cases sure
But considering alternative realities are introduced checkovs gun dictates it might just be one
Not really a Checkov's gun when they already fired it back in TNW and Duviri Paradox
It's just a very easy and convenient answer to what 1999 is.
Do guns only have 1 bullet
doesn't mean shooting the gun has to be the solution to every problem
No but it ceases to be Checkov's when the hinting and it being fired for the first time is finished
It's just now a part of the story.
Also like the quest about the void having shenanigans means 1999 is either time travel or alternative realiies
They can
1999 being the actual past or an alt timeline are equally likely at this point. The former does shake up some other related questions about the nature of it, i.e. Arthur not being a Warframe-in-progress.
1999 is probably the past with some time travel involved (and also wally)
or quasi time travel by using transference on arthur (??)
We absolutely do know, purely from Arthur. Warframe powers would not exist back that, his suit shouldn't exist back then
I mean we've had an equal amount of time travel as well as alternative reality so it's a coin flip
No, they were around the same time. Granted just weren't made with the Tenno in mind
It's just a very funny coincidence that the power he has line up exactly with Excalibur.
The tenno were on ice
The warframes before tenno were killed
excal could be based on arthur
And then still shouldn't exist since their powers are Void based
We don't know what the hell was going on in 1999
wally is there though
Which is even more reason it's Eternalism shenanigans
couldn't 1999 be when albrecht first saw him
Wally can be where and whenever he wants
Is he?
The end with the creepy smile
I mean the Dr entrati in the demo has real eyes no
he literally speaks voidtongue
Man if only someone perhaps had a voidtongue grimoire
Couldn't be us (we're on the wrong parallel universe)
that's also wally's voice
Void guns when
Incarnon
Incarnon
Duvuri weapons
I WANT GUNS NOW MELEE
Maybe? The Voruna Story talks about another one of Albretchs books (maybe the same one?) And how it kept the Void horrors away from him.
I want AKS
What was the Archimedean symposium?
A Meeting of the Archimedean Scientists?
If I had to take a guess.
Wait drusus has a book from albretch
Who is the we mentioned in the voruna leverian
"We know this having retrieved it from the site"
He does?
The bottom of the text
Oh lmao I can't read.
I am not sure they were killed at least not all of them
Who
Oh he also he Does call it A Girmorie.
All the Archemedains either died to turn into Cephalons I think.
the text... did you miss the screen arthur looks at during the demo or what?
Kulervo is alive from back then the warframe in Rhinos text and all other warframes with it are alive and experimented upon.
No rhino is the exception
was talking about warframes
Rhino was kept alive for experiment ballas said he killed the others
I think it mentions warframes in plurality in its text
its more likely that kully and the proto-rhino would be some of the few survivors
than all of the proto-frames still being alive
I dont think the logic stands. It still might be "not our 1999" but its definitely not for the reason you've cited
Possible explanations include:
Eternalism. Yes.
All of them no some must have died to sentients or in the rebelion
That would be the only english text on the whole map.
Addendum: Man-in-Wall may be causing Void-related phenomena or a bleedover of various elements from other embodied concepts - like what we're more familiar with.
Look at the text underneath it.
what you cant read that?
Says "error"
but also, this is in a heavily corrupted area, quite twisted, I wouldnt be surprised if thats all the same derivative of whats on the walls of the lab
where on earth any of the seven white texts and the one red says "error"?
you cant read the texts? did you miss voidtongue 101 in school
There was no protoframe rebellion
There was 1 protoframe rebelling and he's alive
The proto-frames -did- rebel. Did you not complete The Sacrifice? Did you not listen to the Vitruvian entries from Ballas?
I would not call being mindless savages rebelling
traitor twice over remember? Ballas says the frames turned on them, and then kullervo left them all to die
They were driven mad by being turned into Infested and tortured, brutalized, eviscerated by the Orokin.
Though there may be more to it depending on what you look into.
Rebelling implies some semblance of organization
Trailer cause he bailed on his demeted siblings
And then traiter to the orokin
orokin first then his siblings, ballas's timeline of events were that they committed the frames to the grave, and then picking up from that point, kullervo leaves his siblings
As I see it they rebelled against the Orokin for reasons and the brutal mutilation and experiments were done after in a desperate attemt to make them be "loyal" (or at least controlable) again.
because the warframes were effective and a war needed to be won.
Orokin had Dax under the Kuva. Frames were unaffected by such (so I'd guess?) and were 'free', but also twisted into living monsters.
They didn't know how to therapy so they killed the lot off. Until the Tenno were recovered and experimented with.
They found a solution with them.
Warframes are affected by kuva
they be?
The kuva somehow protects others from your abilitys and weapons
Yes, but at the time the Orokin may not have had a solid idea on how the Kuva can be used beyond what they did use it for.
The way the Twin Queens used it may've taken hundreds or thousands of years of R&D to figure out, and they had little to nothing to distract themselves with after the Empire fell.
Another good point we do not know the timelines of the old war because Orokin are immortal.
Could be a millenia between warframes their rebelion and the Tenno solution.
All I can kinda imagine is the KQ bringing in a bunch of Grineer Commanders or other high level leaders and being like "drink this", and various hijinks ensue
True. Lotus does also mention about a millenia-old Orokin derelict when Lephantis.
As for the Kuva Queens and the Kuva... That's how we got Liches.
It's not. Silver Grove established that Warframes and Transference were developed relatively the same time period, just not in consideration of the other
Does beg the question of where the Vessels project fits in as that, too, uses Transference. Same with Necramechs if you want direct control.
Man, I still gotta do that quest... And like literally all the other optional ones...
Mechs come before proto frames
Not Transference, we can just connect to it's controls like with Mechs
Yeah.
Some form of pre-Transference-related control given how Vilcor/Father was able to patch the Tenno in on some crude remote-control connection.
mechs predate protoframes, but father just figured out how to do the ghostbuster taboo and cross streams, as for the vessels, its evident from human loid not knowing what we are that although the vessel needed an operator just like us according to albrecht's notes, the vessels were never built with us in mind
But what if they were? Albrecht was both behind, ahead, above, below, and beside his time since his Void incident.
I look forward to learning more when that update comes.
Or timey whimy shenanigans and albretch did build them for us
I mean even if albrecht was building the vessels for an operator of our kind, which ever bugger built the actual thing didnt think of us while constructing (unless albrecht suffered like thanos with the burden of knowledge and made some of the ugliest bodies for our control)
I am unsure on that, what margulis transferance was creating was not for warframes, they killed her long before.
She wasn't, no
The only transference was made based on tenno
margulis's transference project was quickly adopted into the warframe project so
Also on that I wonder if Albrech "vessels" were a proto stansference project?
It's possible that he may've had 'our kind' in mind, but didn't know how we'd look - or had a specific agenda in mind for their design.
Like punching Wall-Man in the face, and other regions.
Because that's our inate ability the orokin were able to replicate it with tech somehow
Again quickly on whose report? an imortals? for the Orokin "quickly" can be centuries.
"wally is up to some doodoo, this is what it might feel like, in case of doodoo, apply to vessel forehead" - albrecht's grimoire, page 6
Basically. Except 'page 6' is where 'page 1ͪͪ̒9ͪͫͦ9͋̇ͩ9̄̈͒' should be.
Break Glass if god escapes
If we do not have an Operator/ Drifter line when using the book saying "I am going to thro the entire book on you" it is going to be a really missed oportunity.
I really want a gravity falls moment where "HOW TO KILL GOD" Is on whiteboard at des headquarters
on that the simple scientist was alive for both the original transference project and for the tenno-frame project? The orokin may live forever, but is that not a priviledge of the blue skins?
His book is reading us though.
Davro at 160? is considered a young adult
Not sure how long lived the Archimedians were
Perhaps to the near thousands? May be a wild push.
Someone who literally worked on the transference project, Silvana. She's explicit but the project Margulis pulled her on was about helping the kids
unless you want to somehow show that silvana worked on the warframe project at the end of her life after so long, "they lived long" isnt that strong of an argument
Lifespans may vary depending on birthworld and other conditions.
There's no consideration they even used such long time scale at all
Unless specifically said, like with Ballas
Silvana was pushed on the second? warframe project despite her will? was she on the first one? then the warframes that rebelled were not killed
Silvana was pushed onto to the project after the connection was discovered
Until they panic, Orokin may deliberately take weeks/months/years to make progress due to longer lifespans giving them a 40k Necron type of temporal awareness.
she was definitely on the second warframe project
That is what I beleive
she most likely wasnt on the first warframe project
The first one did not involve Transference - or at least the version that we're aware of or that has been known to the Orokin upper-class equivalent of 'the public'.
She definitely wasn't
this isnt a matter of belief, she whines about it as much while dropping enough buzzwords to identify it as the second
first warframe project happens they rebel, transference is developed, margulis dies, transference is found to work on warframes, second warframe project.
Silvana only works on Warframes explicitly after they discovered the Tenno can control them
Marg only dies after the connection is discovered
does she? theres a line about using the kids for war somewhere init?
Margulis dies long before the connection is discovered
somewhere around TSD or apostasy perhaps
TSD is Margulis
Se does not want the kids dead and Orokin do
Ballas presents the transferance as a solution after her death cries
That's not why she was killed though
She was killed for defying the Will of The Seven; to weaponize the children (or, initially, get rid of them but Ballas managed to do -a bit- of convincing, but Margulis didn't like the limited options Ballas had and so history as-is-has-been).
She was killed for not wanting them to be weaponized
nah she didnt want us killed
Then again, Orokin have had access to all sorts of facilities, Ballas could've easily faked the Tennos' death and kept them hidden for the weaponized Transference project if it came to it, I'd presume given how he kept Natah and Umbra a sort of secret until they weren't.
and then immediately, ballas was like "hee hee using my dead wife's tech"
that cant be it no, ballas does refer to the incident in rhino prime
True. I was postulating.
A'ight fam, who's gonna be the first Tenno to play Nine Inch Nails on Shawzin
It's already been done
but also regardless on how long lived orokin are, few years are a few years
Speaking of words, I wonder if the Murmur units will be named after Requiems, if not shaped after each?
Gameplay wise I feel they'd be more vulnerable to ability damage and have a raised non-ability damage resistance.
I hope eventually we can ditch the grimoire lore wise and cast spells as the tenno
A common theme I've seen in wf is that all of our abilities have bene our abilities and we've just been using tech because we didn't know they were our abilities
Actually it is depended on how long lived one is, but we should assume that line is for us so it should refer to a short spawn of less than a decade.
exactly
we do not know how long the tenno were held outside of Lua to be experimented upon, we know that they were left there for probably less than a decade.
Not sure why they were not killed though
thank ballas
After Margulis death who protected them, assuming it was not Orokin bureocracy.
thank ballas
The discovery of Transference, and Ballas managing to convince the Orokin superiors that the Tenno could be useful.
Literal magical kids, trained in the Old Ways, armed with Gun and Blade via Warframes to confine their power.
Yes but I would assume the Orokin would act fast, faster than leaving them for transference to luckilly be found.
Orokin (before the war escalated to the point where Ballas had to doublecross everyone for his own survival) were slowpokes.
the rhino prime entry does not describe any timeline only that for the second researcher Zariman was lost and never returned so the Orkin had it covered up.
Umbra and all the Prime trailers go against that
I mean I know why we can't use abilitys based on physicality we are a child
Umbra and the warframes Ballas created use the heart to fuel their void abilities, we jsut control them.
Why we cannot be the conduit, I do not know.
But I don't see a reason why we the tenno couldn't summon an exalted blade
I remember rhino and ember prime used to have stupid long descriptions about lore but they were changed
Very easily just not be our powers work
What
Theoretically possible for individual tennos and possibly teachable between Tenno, but practically? proably the Tenno nenver got enouph out of the pod practice to train for such abilities to develop.
There's no reason to think that our powers are anything but the specific expressions we can do
Nova had a bit of hers removed too cuz it implied she was already from the orokin era or something but that's what primes are.
Reminder that our lore is just straight up bad explained
Both primes and regular frames are from the orokin era
Not really, no
are there any estimations for cross progression yet?
id really get back into the game if it comes out and gets stable
sometime after october
and before december
sheesh so soon
i assume they have been working on it for a while then
best not to get the hype up too early
untrue.
like the Tablets in Duviri really help.
If you believe that this is the proper way to teach about the lore then you have low standards
And don’t ping me ffs
How would we know not to ping you? No need to be so aggressive
And that's not theonly way we learn lore, which you'd know if you actually care about it
I just think its a cool way to test lore knowledge and clarify things.
I say December
When powers are shaped by my will I should be able to shape my will in the shape of a sword no?
Me when I am not spoon fed every piece of information
Are they though? Flowery language about the Void does not translate to our powers being the same
No but onkko being specific about Amps amplifying and being an extention of our will
Would lead one to Believe our will is our power
Also we have pretty limited sample size when it comes to trained tenno
By limited I mean we have met a total of 0 trained tenno who arnt us
Well I mean finding Children that survived like a void jump accident on a city Sized ship with void powers would be pretty hard.
They found enough for a material
What
Phone what are you on
Material is supposed to be military
I mean I would say there where like let's say some hundred Tenno and they where used as like a special forces of the Orokin.
Not really. Extension of our will is common turn of phrase for extending your power, but will just means whatever your power is, not literal willpower
"Here we create the instrument with which you might co-author the future. The Amp, Tenno, will magnify your power and your will." Seems like our will is different yet linked to our power
Duviri continues to give me Gorgon Wraith, which has zero forma in it, as opposed to my Prisma Gorgon, which has 3 forma and a maxed out Incarnon adapter on it.
Game Theory: WF 1999 is actually a warped version of Excalibur's backstory from when he was a human. The Infested growths on the walls of the subway station reminded me of the growths we see in Umbra's flashbacks in Sacrifice. The computer-Infested things look similar, too. I think that the quest takes place right as Jetstream Sam Arthur was about to completely transform into a frame. Frames aren't suits of armor, they're Infested biomechanical flesh puppets. Would also explain Arthur randomly collapsing at times.
Sell your gorgon wraith? It gives you the highest tier that you own, so clearly wraith>prisma for some reason
What im most wondering about WF 1999 is how exactly it will play.
will it be a one time thing IE new war, or some new area like duviri.
probably like a combo of both.
like Kahl and Duviri mixed probably. it will be faster and like stuff compared to the new War.
Maybe it will end up being more akin to a true open world.
EHHHHHH
i suppose we will see more next year.
Insane probably completely untrue theory time.
1999 could introduce infested adversaries.
That's basically describing Hayden, lol
honestly plausible
If im wrong, well i said id be wrong, if not then its a nice surpise!
This particular detail keeps throwing me off with the timeline of the story quests
If they were under the second dream the entire time from Margulis' project onwards until Second Dream (the quest), how did they learn to use their powers and attack Erra in the cinematic?
i hope grendel gets some bug fixes when his prime comes out
if youre in an open world and use feast, sometimes you just sit there and it lasts for a while and you cannot move. Eating one of the vomvalysts in the narmer plains missions just kills you.
Duviri enemies using default grineer images in the little display thing showing which enemies he has eaten is a bit weird
i never get him for duviri for some reason so i didnt see that one, huh weird
aparently the infested leaper that explodes, will also explode after you eat them which is dumb
We have woken up and went back into the Dream at various times during the Old War, is my guess.
We also knew who we were during the Old War
The way the Tenno looked and acted during that scene made it look to me like the Operators were under the direct control of the Lotus, not really using our powers consciously.
Thinking we're the frame wasn't an Old War thing
It's possible that's exclusively a player problem
But we won't know if any other tenno had affected memory because we haven't met any
The closest we got, was putting Rell down when he lost control and was nearly possessed by Wally
You see that state they were in? That was the pre-WW power set, with all that flying and lazer beams
Meaning conscious deliberate action like we have now aint really on the cards
And at the same time, Varzia references use of amps in the Old War and the Orokin Collapse
So either we did walk around regularly outside of a Warframe, or we didn't
Or both
Most likely the case imo
why warframe back to primetive.we need nokia 3310.
Did DE hint the Warframe 1999? Like these skins?
These are direct references to DE's previous game Dark Sector. There are guns by the same names or similar names in that game. Warframe 1999 also looks a lot like Dark Sector, and we'll have to see when it comes out how closely it's related, if at all.
Bruh StarllorD did the "oro means soul" thing again...
Made a video claiming there are no alternate timelines and that Dominus is the original Tenno who made the deal while Drifter is a void manifestation.
Basically didn't realise that alternate and rewritten timelines are not mutually contradictory concepts, and ignored/forgot the part where Drifter realises Dominus didn't make Duviri.
I actually see where StallorD is coming from with his theory, and while I don't agree with it, I don't think it's necessarily invalid. It's not the straightforward interpretation and it requires a good deal of explanation, but it could potentially be true. But I don't think so. And my main issue with his video is that he could be a little more clear on how it's mostly speculation.
Loretubers always think their word is fact
At least Tactical Potato says that his are all speculation
He’s the best one out there
wat
I still want to punch Human Loid for being mean to our floaty little buddy. q_q
Though, one super cool and interesting thing did come of that. We found out Cephalons can be made by copying minds, not just by glassing people to make them into Cephalons.
Or that loid Is a second more sinister thing
de are you going to back to the future
Mayhaps
i just realized that the fact the 1999 reveal starts with us entering the vessel is probably irrelevant
they've done transitions like that before
like going from railjack to duviri
You mean when the Railjack crashed into Duviri?
Very true.
ALTHOUGH, arthur passes out which could mean we transference into him
He passes out because he just went on a 30 kill streak and got tired
Jumping back in after a long stent... So I'm in the new war. How much longer do I have with this storyline after I kill the three archons?
After you kill the 3 Archons you get to the final Boss aka Ballas and it ends
Thank God. Thank you.
Not the biggest fan of roguelite. I do like it in general but not when I want to play Warframe
Third one will be easier than the first 2 trust me
Was there a kill order? Or they just get progressively easier?
I killed that anaconda looking one first
Third one is a more fair fight due to what you have access to
Thanks man. It's been a couple years since I've played. I got to relook at some of this lore stuff online because I'm getting a little confused
I didn't start a second one. I woke up this morning and killed the snake one first. Then I just went to work. Just got in lol
Snake one is pretty easy
I cheesed the crap out of her. I stood at a corner and kept firing arrows
At a corner of a pillar. Her hits couldn't hit me but mine could hit her
The fight took a while though
For the Owl he does a bubble thing what you do for him is smokescreen into it and shoot him with a bow if you pick him
Toss a smoke screen right at him when he bubbles? Then fire at will?
Yes
He passes out because he's not really healthy
He's not a problem
The Wolf will be a simple find the right one and assuming you have a strong stuff and with weapon you’ll destroy them almost instantly
after you kill the first two... you wont have the same limitations you have for the first two
Wonderful!
And you just go and spoil it
he's just talking about the veilbreaker archon hunts
maybe but also he has warframe powers and warframes do collapse when we get out of them
Because they're made inert, he's still a fully conscious human being
They kneel out of respect not collapse lol
yea but nothing came out of him and he still collapsed after a nice coughing fit
Warframes don’t get tired
"uuuh he must be hayden tenno" yea hayden tenno doesnt have pneumonia
They do collapse in cutscenes when transference gets interrupted
If just transferenced out of they'll stand
Yeah but typically they just kneel because we aren’t controlling them anymore
Not once has a warframe knelt after transferencing out or transference getting interrupted
Doesn't mean it can't start happening now
Murder never happened until the first person actually killed. Doesn't mean it will never happen
Could it be the virus?
depends on the nature of the body on him
is he wearing a suit? is that his actual flesh? either way, signs point to overexertion/incompatability
Getting turned into a frame does seemingly have the effect of affecting breathing in some way, since umbra is breathing very loudly. But then there's also mirage prime laughing while getting infected.
Wasn’t Umbra coughing when he got turned?
He was hyperventilating
the consideration is that post transformation I doubt frames become and stay asthmatic, so arthur's lungs, assuming that everything below the neck has changed, shouldnt be screwing him over no?
He might not fully be a frame yet
It's possible, maybe even likely, that umbra was hyperventilating because of the pain of his insides being transformed and also from his lungs possibly getting destroyed somehow since, as we know, what's inside a warframe "doesn't make sense"
"where is your pancreas?"
Perhaps this applies to arthur too, and maybe that's why albrecht tells him that he's late
He's too late to maybe prevent getting killed by the transformation, if that's what's happening to him
"too slow bozo"
I thought he was late in finding Entrati
Lore wise. Is a prime variant an original pristine version and the regular is a mass production?
de nada
some frames started off as primes, other earned it
Some frames earned Prime some were original
"Some had to earn it, others were primed from the start"
-Varzia
I bet Excal Prime was one that was Prime first
Seems like it. But also "Excalibur was the first"
I'm just happy I Don't have to play as that stupid corpus part of the new war
That was also written before the lore change
I'm done with it it's over
That was the most fun part for me
which brings an interesting thought, that line was on the excal prime, yet in the vitruvian we have base excal during its formative phase, so imo its up in the air for excal
There's nothing that retcons it. If anything, it's more likely now that it's confirmed that prime doesn't mean first
Do you think we'd get another variation of a frame?
Or is this just a result because of Warframe China?
Unlikely
while true, even with the retcon (in that the context of the phrase is more stringent and closer to one of the preceeding sentences before it), the phrase itself doesnt tell you if excal or excal prime was the first one of the excal line
what umbra?
Umbra exists because excal prime is exclusive to founders
And umbra prime exists because china
Umbra was made because DE wanted to Excal Umbra Prime was made because China wanted to
Doesn’t Wukong and Nezha exist because China too?
yea
Wat
Wukong and Nezha released in China first because they made some sort of agreement I think
Man. I remember people trying to trick me to say some nezha stuff in game chat
Kickbot is a dangerous bot when Nezha is involved
So is the heart is Deimos is in Albrecht's lab area ?
No
It's on the same moon
Can you actually visit the heart still?
No
I was picturing the heart being inserted into the kaiju thing from the demo 😆
The lab is under the necralisk, the heart was in an iso vault out in the drift
The vessel, not nearly as big as the average kaiju going by the size of the head
Do you think it's appopriately sized for the railjack finger?
Seemed larger than the finger, but iirc albrecht's logs mention that they can increase in size
Wait so do you think we could get another china exclusive frame? Like another mythos frame?
Because as cool as umbra and wukong and nezha is id love to see another one
unlikely no
That kinda sucks
Well probably get more mythos based frames
Well warframe lore mythos or like actual Mythology like the roman and greek and chinese pantheons
Because we are getting dagath which is somehow tied to naberus and deimos
I want typical rpg classes as frames
Like rogue, shaman, hunter, knight?
Yes
Well we have styanax and he’s a “knight” persay
That line is also on base Excalibur.
Well still the same idea an armed soldier of a royal entity but i get what your saying
I mostly just want a knight and a mage frame, especially now that the grimoire is a thing that will soon exist
Oooh yeah
I believe that book mages are the best kind of mage
Wait wouldn’t wisp also be classified as a mage? Because she can open a portal in the sun
Or is she more like a witch
We already have all the basic archetypes, and tens of "mage" frames
Wisp is weird, but not really the classic kind of mage or witch
Yeah
None that are really like rpg classes
Actually we do, we have a bandit or theif depending on your preference
And its kullervo because his use of daggers as abilities
We very much do. Ivara is Hunter and Rogue in 1, Ash is assassin, Excalibur your basic warrior
Trickster
Lavos covers alchemist, and the elemental frames from the gamut of mage types
Even the more non standard stuff is covered, like Hydroid for pirate and Baruuk for monk
Damn you do have a point
And yet not really anything that could cover knight, which is my favorite. There's rhino, but... he's a rhino.
Rhino would be more like a brute or a guard equivalent
What do you mean though like abilities? Or just in appearance
Both
Also vauban could be an engineer or scientist
Like western renaissance? Like a crusader?
I still want a classic fire emblem mage with all the different elements including light
Optimally yes, but as long as it's a european medieval knight I'd accept it
There is a knight of the lotus skin for excalibur and there is a frogmouth helmet for nekros
Also nekros is an necromancer
Isn't Blade of the Lotus just a TennoGen thing?
Ye
Yeah but its still a western/European style knight skin
crazy to think that kermerros was literally foreshadowing loid
How?
I wish DE let us change Lotus' name after the quest, or least didn't make the choice permanent
I mean we can pay Plat to buy her other body designs, why not the same with names / personalities
I think they mean this line
Well the point of them is for Lotus to finally figure out who she really is between Natah, Margullis, and Lotus. Being able to switch between them would kinda defeat the purpose of all that
So... what was assumed to be a cephalon carrying around kermerros before being glassed.
And yet I'd still like the option
Kermerros foreshadowing while we thought that a cephalon could support a child that could weight 110 lbs 😭
That's not quite right; Lotus is still all three, plus a few others, the point of the choice is her choosing one to be her first among equals and outside face, not her true self.
lotus true self is manmade horror if we think about it
I love those skins tbh
Rhino has a Blade of The Lotus skin too
ngl i always feel like we'll go to tau
To know what really happened bcz of how archon literally saying that they haven't heard at all what happened
i mean hunhow also destoryed the solar rail
but i think Pazuul is trying to repair it.
yep, maybe erra/pazuul will lead to a weird sentence that will make us think what the hell hapened to tau
Btw... Will they ever release this monstrosity ???
I hope so
imagine this lad running at you and drop kick you
Like i would love to see it being one of the fastest sentient 😭
or doing an uppercut to you bcz he knew that if you can move it's already joever
Scrap meant a pre -glassing cephalon
mhh yeah could be tbf
But this version of loid is delicioso
I wonder how long it'll take the community to decipher and translate the voidtongue, they cracked the orokin language pretty easily
Tbf, the playerbase has cracked every written language in the game so far
so the more examples they have to pull from, the sooner they'll crack that too
That's the problem though, the only voidtongue we've seen in written format is the reqium poem
We have hardly anything to pull from and compile
Loid is a construct Otak is a cephalon
Do we have lore how ehtrati made the constracts?
no
Cephalons are glassed people. Kermerros could just be talking about the time before loid was glassed.
Still not quite the right abilities
I always imagined them in a mech
