Yeah I really don't think making more Requiems in any way requires them making more Requiem mods. I'm saying the gameplay is totally divorced from the lore on that point and similar topics.

And I don't think that the new team means they'll break from earlier topics in lore either. Angels of the Zariman was the first major update where Rebecca was in charge (as we learned after the fact), and there are references to Requiems in that update that lead me to think they're much more developed than the 9 mods we have so far.

Yes, i know. But they haven't expanded the Requiems in years and the only ones they do have are tied to mods. It's a very different direction if they go that way. Each Requiem has a complex meaning that they absolutely would have to expand on if they touched them again. It just seems far too unlikely.
Outside of that, the text doesn't match the cleaned clip we have of MITW's speech in New War. For one thing, Mara is DE's canonical tenno so her name being a Requiem would be very bizarre.

So I found the laughing man during the Joy cycle. He is in the cave that connects the "Thrax Garden" to the "Royalstead Pastures" sitting in a corner. I don't know what that cave has todo with Mathilla. But he is there.

Theory: It could be related to her burying her trauma of losing her husband. There is a port in the Thrax Garden. But this is only a theory.

@near rune I found the "Laughing Man's" Final location on the "Envy" cycle. Not surprisingly it was located near Luscinia's location. Its a cave that takes you down to a small grave talking about whom I presume to be Albrecht Entrati.

Yeah, that's the first place I found him. It is interesting. Does it indicate that Bombastine envied Albrecht? Or, more likely, that the Man in the Wall envies Albrecht (although this would deviate from the Vagabond's other mood locations centring around the courtiers themselves)?

I also think Albrecht's epitaph is interesting because it indicates some people in Duviri were very close to Albrecht and even loved him. Who were they? Why?

Yeah that is something I would like to know as well. With the Albrecht being stuck in the void he could have concieved Duviri into reality and used the land as a safe haven from the Man in the Wall.

Thanks to Duviri tho we now know, according to the Scholars Landing lore fragments, that Albrecht actually went back into the Void for “repentance”, built his own type of lab, with the King’s Permission, and then disappeared overnight with the island he was living on, which was known as Scholar’s Landing

What we've seen so far of Albrecht doesn't lead me to think he would do that. He's self-sacrificial, volunteering for his own experiments, but we've never seen him use someone else. Of course, simply being a member of Orokin society would probably induce that tendency anyway; we just haven't seen it from him yet. Alternatively, he may not even be aware of Roon. The gravestone says they were "Forever curious", but that could mean a number of things. Roon might have asked to be a research assistant of some kind (he had assistants back in the Origin System), or they might have sneaked on to the island to observe his experiments like a stowaway.

Just noticing we don't actually have pronouns for Roon.

InterestinglyNotably, Roona was the name of someone on the Zariman (mentioned in the ARG). I find it interesting that DE would have a Roona and a Roon. Maybe it was a typo, and if so (if the grave is meant to say Roona), it would be a point of evidence towards my theory that the citizens of Duviri share names with people who were on board the ship.

This theory is entirely based on the fact that Lodun's tablet shows the same text as Quinn's tablet, which is a list of people on the Zariman. But it's also just as likely DE reused the text asset and didn't mean anything by it.

I think it's likely that it did (and the Void polluted other aspects, like the shape of the land), but there aren't a lot of clear-cut examples that we see in the lore. The animals, I think, are not changed from the storybook.

The Void has differing effects depending on how you interact with it. Insanity is common but not always the result.

Duviri itself seems to be shielded from many of the effects of direct Void exposure, despite being located within the Void.

He was a member of a mercenary tribe and was hired by the orokin to do their dirty work. When he proved his worth they decided that they would make him one of them and thus summoned him to a ceremony. He secretly planned to kill the orokin for a while because he actually hated them (who wouldn't), so when it was time for the ceremony he pulled out the bone-plugs in his neck, slowly killing him from blood loss while he tried, and succeeded, to kill one. Ballas then gave him kuva to keep him alive until he's glassed as punishment for his attempt.

I think we can pretty safely say that Albrecht indeed disappeared and went into the Void, into Duviri, and is out there in the Void somewhere (even though that has yet to be said explicitly).
