It's gruesome. Horrific. And very blunt as to the implications.

||Basically, an island known as 'Cornucopia' - effectively a farming paradise, began to have weird stuff happening. Namely, when the farmers farmed, Kuva started to emerge. Literal bleeding earth. Was described exactly as-expected, and smelled like dead people. When news of this terrible phenomenon reached Dominus Thrax, the island was quarantined and then jettisoned.||

Another point of interest is that || the citizens who drank from it seemed to become possessed by Wally, as their eyes go black and their voices changed to a shrill whisper, if I recall correctly||

There’s another one, I forget which, where ||A giant stone finger erupts from an island and starts destroying everything, and the island is summarily obliterated by thrax when I heard about it||

Then there’s one where an island with a school on it ||starts populating with shadowy child versions of the adults who’d send their kids there that would giggle eerily whenever the void was mentioned in class.||

Another had a lighthouse attended by a man who ||claimed to be holding back some outside force, who then died when the island was smashed by a red-veiled void storm that battered the buildings with metal chains||

I haven’t been this creeped out by Warframe’s story since the man himself popped out of the void at the end of the New War

There's a lot of other factors that throw in other aspects from elsewhere - like TRON (Cephalons, the Weave, Sanctuary), superhero fiction (Warframes generally, Kahl, Lotus in a sense), Terminator (Proxy Rebellion, Sentients).

Way I've 'modded' my Sirocco with Arcanes is an Eternal Eradicate and the other one that adds crit on headshots or something - with the only other way to push that damage is with Operator Focus and Drifter intrinsics.

Even so, it's a pretty good option for anything that isn't an Eidolon.

So after Teshin gets kidnapped... The Undercroft gameplay segment where Dominus says a dark version of the old dying man and three sons story...

The original story is about only the third son actually loving his father and the other two trying to make logical excuses for not crying... So the third son gets everything.

And Dominus's story shows the first to sounding like they really love him... But then the third reveals he killed the man.

Is the Dominus story about all three son's conspiring to kill him and getting all his lands and deeds before telling him they wanted him dead? Or is it just about the man's favorite son betraying him?

Either way it seems to be about betrayal from a beloved person... Which makes sense cause Dominus betrayed Drifter.

I think everyones forget Dominus reminding Drifter that everything that happened was what Drifter wanted.

Drifter wanted to be a hero that could save everyone unlike on the Zariman. He went to Duviri to live out his fantasy of being the brave knight who fought the unjust king to save the people. That was the dream he desired. If he messed up, the world would just start over and he'd get another chance to save them. But eventually he stopped caring about the dream world and as his apathy grew and he started trying to leave, the entire situation spiraled out of control. That's when we pick up in the story.

I could imagine that, with this in mind, future Duviri updates could add more references to the outside world as extra stories Thrax could render in the kingdom, abstracting the events to fit Duviri's narrative tone and in a sense challenging himself as well as the Drifter.

With each update introducing an island salvaged from the deep Void and an introductory quest to the island putting the Drifter to work purifying it of whatever issue it had.

Like with the island where The Bleeding Earth took place; ||Kuva Siphons could be dragged down to Duviri to soak up the blood until it is fully drained, and then be sent off in exchange for additional equipment to keep the island in its pure state. Kuva Survival could also take place here, with the failure state being that the island is flooded and gets dunked into the deep Void again||.

Or the island with ||the shadow-kids. Drifter could approach this haunted island and banish its demons with the Lotus Hand, allowing it to be restored to usability - its duties could involve banishing more apparitions||.

Things like that.

I would love that. I found Acrithis' hopelessness at the state of Duviri pretty sad (and it's a sentiment that gets echoed by some other NPCs), so restoring Duviri of the parts it had lost would feel really great.

I'm not a very good gamer so I don't play for gameplay at all, just story. The quest wasn't exactly what I was expecting after the build up, but I've really enjoyed the Duviri stories we've been picking up. Those are much closer to what I was anticipating!

Yea those stories are amazing to hear. I think part of the reason that they didn’t go too crazy with the quest was cause it was gonna be an optional beginning for Warframe. I do hope tho that they one day redo certain quests like Aotz because they could’ve done such cool things with it and our Operator since it’s the Zariman and all. But even if they don’t I wouldn’t mind too much

Exist , there's a chance that Kullervo will be something like : give overguard and it will be something that doesn't have a limit on how much you can get overguard (overshield has a limit) ?
And like he could have decree while playing once he reach a certain amount of kill ?
It was said by DE that kullervo was mostly made for DPS/support i think ? So it could be something to counter the meta that is shield gating 🤔 (idk how you're supposed to do SP circuit without that)

I disagree, there is a trend towards a lil less straightforward diction, its more fitting for her to refer to kuva in the fanciful way that she did, describing it with traits that we are familiar with kuva, than to outright state that kuva poured out from the ground

the biggest tell would be that drinking the stuff had the same effect as what happens during the end of War Within, although that effect is achieved regardless of the kuva, but is related to the kuva

The ||Bleeding Earth's kind of Kuva and how Thrax reacted to it, and how on another isle there was the Finger, and another the rest of the Hand came... It could be possible that Wall-Man was trying to 'associate' Duviri with himself, and failed because of the rules established that define Duviri and the desperate motions of Thrax that have enabled Duviri to keep it cut off.
I'd call it the Old Blood - or raw/natural Kuva, given how its effects are extremely potent as described of the foolish citizen who drank of it.||

It's definitely true that many characters, including Acrithis, like to wax poetic. When it comes to the Bleeding Earth, I'm more focused on why she said it than how she said it. Acrithis describes the liquid in detail. Why would she do that unless it was an unknown substance?

You can speak in flowery language all you want, but there should still be a reason for the information you're imparting. Acrithis is recording things she thinks are relevant. If she knows what kuva is, and it seems she does, then why would a long, detailed description of kuva's physical properties be worth recording?
