if kahl stayed dead then there would be a whole lot less sabotage against the Narmer forces in the origin system though
if kahl died it would be marginally more annoying to get archon shards
exactly. we also wouldn't have styanax so
If kahl died people would be less likely be to argue that teso should be alive
He would've just been put elsewhere
They. Are. Not. Gods.
Yes they are
they aren't
Ok this should probably be in lore discussions but is there like say any point in time that is like say an anchor point for eternalism because otherwise that means virtually everything is canon to warframe even fanon
It has to make sense and be realistically possible
Ah fair since I had that confusion in my head since I did new war so anything sorta reasonable or possible (well according to how the void works) exists as a alternate reality
it depends since wally can literally destroy entire alternate realities
Great I’m now thinking power comparisons between the Tenno and other characters like say the guardians of destiny or some of the planet ending monsters of borderland in what is more powerful on pure breaking of reality (I mean essentially being a entity that all other realities are killed off save for one other is a strong case for the Tenno)
Ok this should be in lore discussions (if it was ever active)
I really think they need to start plainly and outright making some more characters forever dead. There's little weight or finality to any point in the setting right now.
Can they beat Goku tho?
Lore discussion is often very active
Just not right now
The tenno themselves aren't too powerful
I mean they don’t exactly die so Tenno do have a chance
In outright power not a chance
Tenno can die
Fair I mean I’m that they can basically never die or well even suffer actual death as they simply go away to the void or a transference pod
Oh right oro
Ah right
Rells entire story makes me cry 🥲
It’s very sad agreed
Except there is? Like, death is still final in Warframe unless something else happens, like with Vor.
Usually if we still count oro into existence then death is not exactly final for say orokin or us but well discounting oro yeah basically that
Also yeah enough characters are already dead Jesus Christ what’s next the lotus
It’s the “unless something else happens” part that’s the rub.
There are tons of characters that are left in a state of ambiguously dead with how things pan out
And nothing else does happen 9/10 times
Vor and teshin tbh, like he is somehow still alive
Teshin is a case we're about to get an answer about
And well it seems he aged so much how long was he in the void relatively speaking
Yeah, bombastine said that he is in here for a long time with his aging and seems to have fought a large amount of "mockery of a dax".
BUt it kinda make me wonder, how much time has passed for him ? Like he seems way older than before 😮
Doubt it, I can't see them either... And I'd been busy studying since forever
Eh Boss fights are your only big maybe, which is why my preface was when something is actually said to be dead, explicitly
Considering how the void works it could be he has passed a very long time even for him (did he even cryo by the end of the old war idk) but it’s enough to need help walking and not use his blades and grow a beard
Ironic, but also not surprising.
I was even wondering if he was intentionally trolling, with weirdly constant poor spelling and a fake profile pic (cause I refuse to believe any grown up person would act that way)
How many characters that we have seen on screen or have been part of our story have actually definitely died? Like sure there’s loads dead in the history of events. There’s only really a couple which hold narrative weight.
Which isn't anything really different from The usual medial rule of "if they didn't die on screen, then you can't say for sure"
That hold narrative weight? Ballas and the Elder Queen
Plus Margulis
I guess there’s also teshin but not by much
And maybe ordis drone during tnw but that’s a stretch
Teshin, yeah, but that's gonna get resolved in about 2 weeks
Praghasa? Her body is/was still around and apparently capable of doing stuff, but as a person I think we can assume she's dead. Then again Sentients specifically have ways of reviving.
Kind of my point is nearly all of those mentioned have some sort of loophole if they feel like bringing them back.
They don't, no
I think Sentients always have the loophole. Orokin may be able to be revived with kuva after the fact. The Void can revive or recreate. Those are the three big asterisks that go on character death, and they're not always applicable.
Erra only, which they did pull
Sera is technically alive but lazuli is suppressing his consciousness I read somewhere once
wut
The Void requires an extenuating circumstance to make a copy, and there's no evidence to suggest Kuva works after the fact. Maybe worm Queen antics I guess
Vala glarios, kahl, vor, teshin, erra
I agree there are extenuating circumstances – I said the loopholes don't always apply. We don't know about kuva; the explanation we were given in War Within would seem to indicate the original body needs to still be alive, but Worm Queen's kuva efforts as well as the Ordan Karris story imply that it can be used after death. How, is unexplained, and I wouldn't lean on it. I'm just presenting it as a possibility and I tried to make that clear.
Kahl was never shown to have died or anything the like to be that kind of questionable
yep, erra is technically somewhere inside the body but pazuul is in control
I give you Vala if that one was actually left to be ambiguous to start instead of being answered immediately
Wait on the topic of pazuul and technically narmer tf is up with the tau lords or whatever that means
Vor, I acknowledged as an exception. And Teshin we're getting an answer too
Ordan was still just barely alive
I believe "the Lords of Tau" is a reference to the Sentients still in Tau. It might also just mean the Beasts.
I guess Tau lords are future antagonist ? I don't really understand what is going on tbh
Like sentients that are still in tau, other beasts...It's not known
But it could also be the first aliens ? But i doubt since they haven't talked about meeting another species
No, I meant the Orokin that Ordan killed. Ballas tells him "We have died a thousand times!" So it's up to how you interpret that.
Same for Vala because it was revealed in the same quest, and the rest did the equivalent of dying, for all intents and purposes
More so referring to the Orokin he attacked, who may or may not have been fully dead
Oh right
Well if you cut it off there, it's ambiguous...
But the full context is that the Orokin think he's a rather pure, idiot beast for thinking he did something, and the "we have died countless times, yet remain eternal"
My point was that, depending on how you interpret it, it implies that the Orokin can resurrect after they're killed.
The Ordan story reads more like a Lich scenario than it working after the fact
That's also possible.
I'm looking forward to players wondering why they have to play as the weird leather robots and can't use their custom character after the intro
That's not how it's gonna work
New players aren't just going to be given one intro quest, they're getting the whole Duviri experience. The whole point is to allow them to play Duviri with vets.
i know you can always go back to duviri but not being able to use them outside of that one area will be weird for some people
Not sure how the transition to the star chart will work, but would be funny to see a reversal of the usual pouty posts about having to play as Drifter.
What do you mean not being able to use them?
Can't get the drifter out on the normal starchart until you've done TNW
Says who?
I mean, that's how it works now. We'll see how it works going forward.
All of Duviri's post-intro content is post-NW for Drifter.
Anyone solve that poem finally or is it still unsolved
It's impossible to know whether it has been solved.
All we know is that Oull-Ris-Xata-Vome-Khra-Lohk is the current best guess thanks to the Zariman ARG event.
i have a thought, the teshin we see in some of the duviri gameplay looks and sounds old af
is it possible we as drifter make it to the future somehow or is it just current teshin after getting messed up by erra
Teshin is either...
1 Conceptual Embodiment of Teshin (void manifestation)
2 Still alive Teshin after getting simply knocked out by Erra the spending a long time in Duviri
3 Drifter's Teshin/ other reality Teshin
My moneys on 3.
i was gonna show the shoes i put on sun and moon but theyre missing now :(
i reloaded it already, they dont show up
Ngl i hope if you finished TNW, you can unlock transference early in duviri
Yeah, they got removed in the citrine update iirc
awww
my legs :(
heres a screenshot from when the swords were there
did anyone else notice the two-handed dax nikana in the new duviri trailer? it was on excalibur’s back
it’s prolly gonna be a new skin
New weapon seems more likely
Its probably one the new weapons drifter uses pretty sure we saw it in the duviri demo devstream
I'm half expecting duviri to drop a t i n y bit early like new war
And then every YouTuber is gonna be like "nYeH WhY gIvE a DaTe If YoU jUsT rElEaSe It EaRlY"
I just hope they release the soundtrack - what I've heard so far is incredible
I always default to smiles from juran so I can make papa umbra happy
I feel like 3 is the most likely as in the cutscene he dies in his body is never shown entering the void portal
Only issue with 3 is Teshin wasn’t aboard the Zariman all those years ago, so if it is that one hopefully they’ll explain it
why is the king of duviri wearing the collors of lotus 🤔 is Lotus an ally of his?
looks at my bright pink Radiant Lotus
Don't think so
So I've found out that there are 3 redeemable codes currently
Yep! They're listed in the most recently pinned message in #gameplay-discussion
Wasn’t that denied by a dev?
Hahaha fun fact: DUVIRI-BARO is a valid code, as is DUVIRI-DRIFTER
In fact, DUVIRI-[WARFRAME NAME GOES HERE] is all valid. Volt, Mag, Gauss etc
It's just that you can only claim two
Baro and Drifter are warframes confirmed
Lol, "they arent the kids so they're probably warframes"
Not directly, no. The Dev just said he's never seen an audio edit that fully revealed what the Man in the Wall said.
The Man In The Wall said, in Latin, “lol, Wukong is gonna have his clone ability removed and Kuva Nukor becomes a Single-Target weapon in the Duviri update.”
OOF, CN server ain't going to get the update if it's like that.
se sabe algo sobre el cross-save?
in the gameplay demo of duviri i just noticed that drifter gets stabbed by a void version of paracesis before the lotus' hand falls to the ground
Is duviri a one and done quest or a gamemode I didn't understand
Duviri is a quest that opens up an open world, like with Fortuna / Cetus
only exception is that this quest is a major story quest while the other two were just Warframe sidequests
Alright thanks a lot!
Post New War question :|| i've keep Lotus skin , but it was for keep the name , as i know if you change her after , she'll keep the first choice name and only change apparence , so i kept lotus in purpose and plan to get margulis after with platinum , but the question is , did her voice will change too ?||
A little difference
so it change ?
(a bit)
thanks for your answer ^^
I really wonder why pre quest speculation on YouTube has been dead for a while
On YouTube atleast
Like I remember a time that as soon as a trailer drops, all the YouTubers start to pump out a bunch of videos about their story speculations and even making bets with eachother.
What the hell happened? Why did they stop doing that?
This Duviri trailer is out and there are barely any YouTubers talking about it or speculating, coming up with theories. Just Tactical Potato playing a little with the idea that Thrax might be Rell.
Tbh i would guess 3rd because he is wounded
Just general burnout from the game, I guess.
I wonder what abilites Incarnon bo will have
Me too! I like that they are tweaking what incarnon weapons do from the ones in the Zariman 🙂 maybe I’ll will be a small cc when struck by the first hit ?
Maybe bring back no LOS when attacking with melee incarnon form kinda like the meta in 2014-16
I do think thrax is a Tenno and his warframe is the giant dragon 🙂 but it being Rell would be a cool twist 🙂
I will just bonk but edgy bonk XD XD
First form one saber and incarnon is the second one 😉 😂😂
I wonder if incarnon adapter will afect dispo tho
cuz this will be fun xd
Maximum bonk riven XD
Oh yeah I definitely think so bc every level will give it a bonus stat like the incarnon we have now but I also see them raising it to get players to use different guns
is it official yet which weapons will get incarnon?
I think they showed off a screenshot in one of the devstreams
Hmmmm not officially but there has been some data mining and we seen some in the dev stream
I found entire list in log XD
I’ll see if I can find it for you
If that's from leak, you may wanna dm it instead of posting it.
I don't currently use the launcher. Lol
oh yea switch. gyro aim is super good in warframe
well ofc , since he use it like operator
How
NO, NO, NO!!! You're supposed to use the new firing method with the Sirocco model!!!
a better wukong staff maybe ?
I am excited to make my Lato Prime and Skana Prime better with incarnon stuff. Lato Prime is good, but Skana Prime struggles to keep up.
Skana P has stats that rival B War and Pangolin P, how is that "struggles to keep up"
I have to settle with Lato Vandal );
is there a way to get back ordis skin ?
It can’t. It’s an adaptor not a new weapon at least with how they worded it
Drifter breathing in the new trailer opened a myriad of possibilimemes.
Specify?
The physical drone or the transmission cube?
get back the cube @zenith jacinth
i will check but it may revert many thing alongside ordis
but yeah i see what you talking about
drifter fire breathing XD
Chroma already does this.
chroma is weak tho
Drifter has cheatmode xd
.......my brain just clicked over with a VERY odd thought
The Stalker Duviri intrinsic is a bit odd. He helps you in New War but shouldn't have any presence in Duviri
...unless his Operator in the Duviri timeline became Thrax
(If he even has one)
Also, lotus hand, duveshin and the entire place the latter is found in shouldn't be there either, yet they are
Those are all connected to our Operator though, who's actively interfering to help the Drifter.
And why wouldn't the stalker be there? He's also connected to our op, even if less directly
drifter trying to get out to send help to himself?
Why not? Your Warframes are there
As far as we know, Stalker doesn't have an Operator, he's just a frame with full sentience like Umbra. Until it gets proven otherwise.
We don't even know that, it just seems very likely
I think that was eluded to in second dream
That or he goes in after TNW to help out the drifter because he thought they were cool ¯_(ツ)_/¯
His description does say "an ally from another time, another place" or something like that iirc
To be fair, that's not a bad assumption, because Drifter isn't one of the people that killed the Orokin technically.
Most likely not different enough for him to care, he probably would've killed the drifter if it wasn't for hunhow clearly wanting to talk to them
Well, I'm sure we'll find out when Duviri comes out.
I'm gonna speedrun unlocking kaithe naming, roach must exist as quickly as possible
Most likely stalker is a frame without an inhibitor like most frames have. The reason he probably isn't insane with the infestation madness is probably because he took it on willingly after the tenno betrayal and wasn't subject to torture and experiments like the rest of the frames
this is up to you!
I doubt the madness that caused the Warframes to turn on the Orokin was actually the fault of helminth, but suspect it was actually from the torture by the Orokin themselves.
I don't think it was because if Stalker was exposed to helminth he doesn't appear to have mental stability issues. Except for the whole kill all the tenno thing. But considering what we did I could understand why he's still mad.
well consider this
I wouldn;t enjoy torture
but i also wouldn't like being turned into a gooey guy, which is what the helminth does
either way, i'd be pretty mad
Ballas does refer to "Infested madness, indicating that there is some sort of condition that arises from being infected with Helminth. Whether this is what caused the proto-warframes to rebel is of course up to interpretation.
It does say that but I think ballas would blame the effects of their torture on the infested aspect anyways. Since at least with umbra there was no apparent madness outside of the torture ballas designed for him.
I mean, even infested who aren't getting plugged into the Infested hivemind still lose their sentience like all the rest.
Except Warframes don't have any indication that they really went mindless or lost their sentience. What we see is most likely an inhibitor to prevent movement. Since both Stalker and Umbra still have sentience.
I don't think Stalker is a free Warframe, that was was specifically Ballas' punishment for Umbra.
We also have indicators in other stories that the frames were still aware and still had sentience in the old war post tenno
And even he is just a mass of rage, grief and pain. Umbra's not capable of any form of communication.
Those are tenno experiencing the Second Dream. Voruna Leverian makes it the clearest.
Every Warframe story or lore bit except for Umbra's memories is a Tenno using their Warframe, whether they remember the truth or not.
i think stalker is just a guy
No I mean actual frames still doing things not just tenno in the dream. Hidden Messages is just the final moments between a tenno and the frame.
I thought Stalker was a guy from way back in the Orokin days who hated us, and had also possibly-maybe-might-not-have gone through something similar to the original warframe creation process or could just be wearing armour?
Titania was stolen before she would have had a tenno and sacrifices herself for her operator who was Silva. In that same story they talk about how Silva can sense the mind of the frame but thinks it's evil or whatever
Err? Silvana wasn't her operator.
I mean as close as can be. Since titania didn't have a tenno we are ever told about.
Yeah because you can do that quest before The Sacrifice. We know for a fact that the Warframe project was a near total failure until the Tenno were pulled out of cold storage.
And only after they were did the Orokin start deploying them as anything more than indiscriminate WMDs.
DE has never been a stranger to dropping hints about things long before some sort of big reveal.
The big reveal for TSD was in Rhino Prime's Codex
The Titania on the Silver Grove project would have been a Tenno operator. The Gara defending the Unum on Earth would have been a Tenno Operator. The Mirage and Limbo in Hidden Messages and Limbo Theorem would have been a Tenno operator.
The one arguable one is in Call of the Tempestarii, because of the weirdness with the Shadow, but the Sevagoth proper would have been a Tenno Operator.
The shadow in the tempestarii quest is basically just a very long seva passive

Why would the Silver Grove project have been a tenno considering half that story is about her hijacking the frame and performing transference herself on it.
These past weeks, I've been secretly testing Transference on myself. I can only survive short bursts - linking to Titania the way only Tenno can stand. I've never felt anything like it. A tortured presence, like an evil ink, staining my mind. But... it worked. I'm going to use this wrong to make right. she's talking about transference into Titania and feeling Titania's mind here.
Yeah, Warframes are sapient.
Like animals, not people.
It's not like there can't be more than one mind in a body at once. That's the entire way we control Warframes.
They're probably sapient like people considering they were people. We just don't see it because the majority of frames have inhibitors. Umbra the one frame outside that restriction has only a single memory and is working on pure instinct.
The only other frame like creation we see is Stalker who is certainly able to do more than just be a tenno's vessel.
Quick question and I apologize if this sounds rude, but do you know the difference between sapience and sentience
I wonder if we're always wandering about in a golden silhouettescape when we enter a new frame like we did with umbra
Isn’t sapient like people vs sentient being like aware of yourself (so like animals not necessarily people)
After all we are H. sapiens, not H. sentiens
Haha, fair
Sentience is being able to experience feelings and emotions. Sapience is the ability to apply knowledge experience and have understanding and insight.
Anyway, yeah, Warframes are closer to animals. They have the ability to feel, but not the capacity to reason.
The Tenno are the ones providing the reason.
And having sentients is worrying
They most certainly do have a capacity to reason. Which is why Titania without a Tenno would be able to reason that she needs to return to save Silvana. It's also why the Stalker is able to form alliances and hold conversation.
It's also why when we go into Umbra we don't just go "AWAY WITH THIS BAD MEMORY OBEY ME ANIMAL!" but instead actually have a conversation of sorts where we convince Umbra to move past his pain.
Unnnnnnnnnless they're a tenno, who's forgotten they're a tenno.
Which is what we had to with every other warframe at some point. It is also why our tenno talks to their warframe in missions.
Which is what the Second Dream is. Forgetting the weakness of our original bodies. Being the powerful Warframes instead.
When does the op talk to the frame in missions?
Admittedly that last one could just be lazy programming. But our tenno still acts like there is more than one person even in solo missions.
Thats a weird way to "talk to the frame"
Yeah, the operator's talking to themself, same way the Drifter does during (what we've seen of) Duviri.
That is one of many lines. "Attack us, and we will counter." "Let's go on the offensive!" "We fought with honor."
Sooooo at the risk of oversharing, I do that.
Some people have internal narration. It's just a thing.
I mean, there's what Captain's doing and also the fact that yknow, Lotus/whoever you have handling you is on the comms
Yes, I do to, but I don't typically going around referring to just myself as We
"We fought with honor" is one of the lines from the convo with lotus at the end of tsd I'm pretty sure
Also this gem which exists as a quote "Back on your feet, Warframe!"
Its more likely we're using the royal We or we're straight up talking to the Lotus
"Right, we're on our feet."
I have never heard that one
Im going to have to see where you got those lines from
I've never seen it in game but it's in the Wiki
You gon link it or?
The Operator currently has four different voice choices available: the Owl and Heron male voices, and the Falcon and Raven female voices. While they speak mostly similar lines, different Operator voices have different inflections for each line. I'm confused... I... I thought I was... (Option: ...always studying.) A jumble of words, numbers. I mu...
It's under the revive quotes
Oddly specific
It was added in 2015
I've genuinely never heard an on-revival line
I have but never on revival.
Unimplemented lol.
"That was close" gets said often enough.
Anyway, I don't actually think that's a point for you. I talked to my cats but never expected a real response.
I mostly hear "my oorfram is stronk"
The operator lines are mostly one-liners and external narration
Yea given the already established minimum of warframe sapience... Those one-liners dont mean much
I agree, but they don't stand in isolation. You have quotes in TSD where the operator talks about sensing the "otherness" in the dream. You have Silver Grove where Silvana talks about being able to sense the taintedness of the frame's mind. You have Hidden Messages where someone is talking to Mirage and she's responding with character traits that we are told belong to the frame, unless you want to also argue the Tennos were in the frames while they were being created.
The ones that were made after the early experiments probably were, actually
In The Sacrifice we get to experience the taming a warframe process, and what we experience is more like a mindmeld than us inhabiting an empty suit. We experience Umbra's thoughts, and when we go to ease the pain we're actually talking about how the tenno and the frame can move past it.
Better to bond tenno and Warframe
I mean, we know theres a mind in the frames, the problem is that the mind isnt together enough to be sentient in most non-umbra cases
But like, none of that is proof of higher thought
Yea its proof of "thought" but not "big brain thought"
If that were the case we should expect all the tenno to be suffering immense trauma from the torture the frames were put through.
.....they are.
That was the other half of the revelation of the sacrifice
Fun fact: animals can think
The cats in my local shelter demonstrate otherwise
Wait am I the only one who doesn’t have a speaking operator during missions
If you're in streamer mode he shuts up
Is your streamer mode setting on?
I’m not in streamer mode
Drifter?
Then youre just lucky
Yeah drifter doesn't talk either
I guess I’m just lucky even before tnw my operator was silent
It's not common, mine talks like once every 15 missions
Could have also unchecked the "Operator Voice" toggle in the audio settings.
Oh I’ll check that later
Anyways, there's no reason to believe that the Tenno were subjected to the same tortures their frames are. Since there's no evidence that a tenno couldn't just bond with whatever frame they wanted.
They weren't tortured, but they felt the pain of the frame's brutalized mind and then proceeded... to take away its pain
I mean that’s explained by the sacrifice well enough who said Tenno got tortured like the frames
By helping the frame move past it not by erasing their mind or whatever.
[Insert objectively best song in the game here]
Yes.
The sentience is arguable on normal frames but primes and umbra it’s definitely there
On primes??
Normal frames were the originals. Not primes.
Its literally just umbra who acts with that much autonomy
Well, no, they were remade into infested and then tortured into insanity
Not true
Time for the daily "primes are not all originals" explanation
Some primes were first, other frames had to earn it
Godamn I’m stupid
Varzia was there, she knows
Never listened to varzia, have you
Technically ANY Warframe could at any second revert into a screaming berserker ripping through everything in its path
Umbra was the only one that felt anything specific beyond that
There's a lot of lore hidden between the lines that make it seem like she got lost in a desert
That's fair. Though I didn't remember the some primes were original.
Thanks to Ballas putting "Umbra's Greatest Hits (on his kid)" on repeat for a few centuries.
I mean kinda forgot entirely
By the void that's dark
I need a flashlight to see that one
I think all frames have their memories and whatever was left of their human mind after the torture. I think the reason we don't see it on non-Umbra frames is because the transference bolt.
I'm genuinely proud of that bit of darkness.
It puts them in a form of stasis. Umbra is specifically mentioned to have an unusual transference bolt in comparison.
That is very good dark humor

It's a good one, but by the gods and all that is divine is it dark
Admittedly the stasis bit is conjecture, but that's the experience we see with our frames. When we leave them they enter some sort of stasis state rather than just reverting back to whatever mind they do have whether it is animalistic or just a messed up human one.
And only when they take significant damage while in that state do they appear to move on their own.
Still less dark than your average dark sector mission
Brighter than the chains of harrow missions
Gods that mission sucked
I liked it
I liked it until the final fight. That fight sucked the first time I did it.
I'm a fan of horror segments in non-horror games, although coh didn't execute that too well
The second time I did it with Umbra and it went a lot smoother.
I thought it was a neat idea, really got me the first time around.
I think my issue with it was probably just being underprepared. I didn't really bother upgrading my amp until after The Sacrifice so both those fights were rough.
Yeah that probably would have made that fight easier xD
Very easy
I did it with mote twice
You'd think I would learn from my first mistake, but nope
I think I might have gone in amp-less...
Sacrifice too
Me big brain. Hueg.
No amp is better than mote amp
I mean I also did it the second time with the mote. But the second time I had umbra which made the final fight in COH so much easier.
I don't think I've replayed TS yet
Don't you need to do it like three times for the Somachords.
At least twice
Yeah I just realized, guaranteed twice
Isn't the final fight in coh op-only
Before Umbra it was yeah. I don't know if they have since fixed it, but Umbra used to just follow you anyways
That seems very unintentional
It definitely was unintentional
According to the Wiki it still works too.
I'm honestly surprised, because I thought they would have patched that. When I did it it was right after The Sacrifice dropped.
I think it’s a bug that people find interesting, and it’s just never been patched.
But now I’m going to replay Chains with Umbra for the funnies.
same
It’s not a mistake it’s skill
Ok well it’s both also wait umbra cna be in that mission WHAT?
There was no skill involved, I almost ran out of revives both times
Oh I find it kinda fun I guess dodging umbra and baiting him…… until I figured out by the second umbra hunting that gara 4 is success
It was the op only fight I had the hardest problem with on Umbra. Ended up hiding in a tree for that one.
How did you hide in the tree well enough I got killed for that and agreed
I don't remember how exactly but I was up in a tree taking pot shots at him
Also I’d say it’s probably the best way to learn how to be good at operator only movement since it’s just that and there’s an edgy Excalibur Dax hunting you
I'm better at operator only movement since they updated it. But I haven't done any of the operator only missions since then either.
Like it's technically the same, but the void sling seems better when you get used to it.
The void blast one?
Yep
Also wasn't something I really found myself using. But then I keep forgetting to use any of my op abilities anyways.
Lol I used it bc I was bored one day and decided to try and see if I could push a lot of grineer off a cliff with it
Well it was more push them off that one area in ceres with the pit and bridges
I think it was naramon
Wasn’t it madurai
Idk
Bombastine best duviri character, and I am definitely not biased towards eccentric and/or excessively fancy characters
And then there’s Leqous…
Who
Ok I see your point
The guy who was about to stab drifter but got nuked by Lotus’s hand
He was holding that incarnon dagger
The difference in quality between your dominus and my bombastine keeps making me laugh
Lol yea
I also have a badly cropped image of his "You seeing this?" pose
The one that this emoji
is from
That face of his is funny
I love how Dominus looks in this pose
And seeing him make that Orowyrm bully drifter was cool
Thank you, I now have 3 bombastine images
I now have an uncropped version of that image, thanks for that upgrade
You should use that as your pfp
I couldn't find any bombastine images on google and the fandom page has like 4
That sounds like a great idea, I'll make sure to remember to do that at some point in the near future
Lol it looks much better
Now that we have a confirmed release date my excitement is not controllable anymore
I just wish that I could travel to the future instead of having to wait another week
that week will not be refund
i dont recommend that
Amazing meme mind if I take that
Yes
about the "name your kaithe" thing, would I get in trouble if I named mine Bucephallus?
Idk
You'll get in as much trouble if you were to name yours shadowfax, which is to say: none
I'd use one L just in case though.
Looked really cool 😄
Hey a new meme template
Wish we could post memes on here without having them get deleted. Someone posted one earlier using that template but it’s gone now:/
Me showing my Roomba collection in the Dormizone:
The orokin version of the soyjack pointing at something
Nah, it's him going "You seein this stuff?"
i like the fact that lequos seems to be able to incarnon at his will.
Like the potency of your void power allow you to allow incarnon every weapons ?
Oh wow dominus has a lot of ego ... Like there is a statue of him riding a horse right in front of his palace lol
Oh my god the little joke from dominus :
"My world, my rules" > "My body, my choices"
Does anyone know who is this ?
Don’t know but my best guess is maybe a Zariman kid
That’s one smug looking statue.
Actually ngl it reminds me of one of those famous greek statues
Would be funny if it is a statue of Rell.
No way in heaven its rell actually I guess
idk rells hair is very different
Oh right
He kinda looks like a star wars clone trooper
AYOOO
Alright guys let’s continue
Yeah so it was SICK OVERALL
So...LOTUS (NATA) is the daughter of...uhhh the big bad sentient guy? Is he a sentient?
Natah*
Yep she’s the daughter of hunhow
And hunhow was awaken by the grineer? Digging?
Okay cool so I am following the story decently
Natah is the Daughter of Hunhow, who by some skullduggery was convinced/manipulated into wanting children and so took the tenno as her own
You'll get more into that in the next couple chapters
Yeah. But the orokin are the ones who found the children in the void right?
It will clear up as you advance through the story
that gets cleared up as you play
Okay okay cool
yes, you'll learn more after the New War
I'm SUPER hyped on the story. It's so weird the game has you do Deimos before that
All you should know is that there’s bigger forces at play then you might think
There's a lot to take in from here on out
And a lot of questions
I have 0 idea how Deimos even fits into things
Deimos was added after the original storyline...it's sort of awkward
Cause I thought the heart...there was my power?
But turns out the moon? Where my operator was hidden? Is my life power or w.e
It’s I guess a regulator for their power which is why it manifests the way it does
the Heart of Deimos got added long after TSD, so its been shoe-horned in awkwardly
It’s not your life power it’s you
Right it's me literally me
The Heart of Deimos powers all Void related shenanigans, it holds the door open so theres void energy to play with
Yep
After 50 hours of playing I finally met the player character lol
Who I thought was maybe in my frame? Or...was the frame idfk what I even thought lol
everything up to TSD is just the tutorial lol
Maybe the Warframe was some weird organic life form
Uhhhhhhh
Guess it is
It gets explained more
you get more lore on the Warframes later on
tl:dr; it's complicated
Word. Welp. Can't wait for the next story
Very complicated
Unsure what the next one is my codex is filled with random quests
and before you ask; there are no aliens in Warframe
Unless you count sentients
after The Second Dream it's The War Within (Pluto Junction) then Chains of Harrow then Apostasy Prologue then The Sacrifice
made by the Orokin, that's explained in a Simaris lore entry
sentients originate in Sol so not aliens either
they're machines, sentient machines
Ik but they look alien so I guess if you take that extremity I guess but ofc it’s not exactly
But yeah no aliens overall
nothing not made by humans
Interesting. Welp back to the grind fellas can't wait for more
Ok
And my god the new expansion looks absolutely insane with the story. Watched the trailer and was...uhhh confused lol but gonna stay away from THAT till I beat the other stuff
Yep
yea you have no idea whats going on until you can clear TNW
Alright is he gone?
they're offline according to their profile
Ok well godamn he got real close with that guess of warframe being organic to the actuality of warframes
I mean, they do bleed
Umbra was an edge case, but yes, I see your point
So right after we got stabbed, the paradox starts
The anomalies in dominus' story start right as the op gets stabbed
Too bad we can't quit tnw and do Duvari in sequence
Duviri
Ty
But yeah, that'd be pretty cool if we could do that
Wish we could, it'd make more sense.
Temporal paradoxes are bad at making sense.
And this entire thing is wrapped around a time loop and the twist of it, so...
It's kind of a "Meanwhile, in this other place..."
"Meanwhile, our heroes at this place is doing some weeeeirrrd stuff."
Isn’t that literally all paradoxes? Not just temporal ones
I mean, fair.
Temporal ones hurt more to think about, for me.
Fair, some of them can be really confusing
now I'm curious if those drifter instrincts will also work outside the duviri map
Probably not, or not all of them at least
I'm curious too.
Like if they put it also in normal gameplay, does that mean that there will be more player using drifter because of their bonus instead of normal op ?
When is cross save?
Unknown
Expect 1 to 3 years for crossave...i rather have it top quality feature rather than rushed and buggy
From what we know Drifter specific combat will stay in Duviri
Help! I'm playing The War Within and I'm stuck. It says press RB and LB to transfer but that literally does nothing.
You have to look at the thing you're transferencing into
I am
Try a different angle; when I replayed it a while back I had to be in one specific place
...if that doesn't work, restart the game because yes indeed Bugframe is buggy with the seminal big quest
I guess that is what I will have to try... I have been trying for nearly an hour
oh dang, sorry to hear
Is there a new frame on April 26?
Unless they surprise us with it no
Is it Normally surpise?
Nope
Normally they tease new frames in devstreams
Considering their current style of doing an "echoes of" update after major updates we could maybe get a new frame then
So how's the operator intrensics going to work
Drifter intrinsics ? I assume they only work in duviri
Possibly the horse intrinsic would work outside if we get to use the horse outside duviri
Dang
I believe we just get a horse summon after the quest
i'm kind of glad there isn't a new frame tbh, i still haven't farmed the last two
Im getting Railjack flashbacks
Ive been summoned from my deep slumber due to a really loud discord notif from my pc!!!
So hey whats up
Ahh yes railjack was a buggy mess
Fr like I once fell out of the map and I was stuck in an empty void
Pov: ur the pilot and ya got 4-6 boarding parties in ur railjack one of them also planted a bomb...aight ya imma head out abort mission
Dormizone question: ||...Did Teshin's swords vanish recently from the door? It was showing for the Drifter by the locked greyscale door, right, leaning on the frame?||
Yes, the swords have disappeared
Okay. I was wondering if my game was misbehaving or not.
Any idea how long ago?
I believe they disappeared with the Citrine update
Good to know, thank you.
All the Duviri melees will be usable on starchart, you just have to unlock them/maybe build them too
Come to think of it, do we have any idea what we'll use resources for on Duviri?
confirmed? or just rumor?
I believe Pablo mentioned it during devstream 168
course its the one i missed XD
haha
cant wait to see them butcher the stance on dual nikana
I think the idea is that they'll play differently on the Soulframe beta in Drifter's hands vs. in a Warframe's hands.
I still hope they get more guns than just Sirocco
please i need a rifle to make the grineer set not look stupid
I’m just curious what gardening will be for
Speaking of mysterious objects
The weird void orb
Don’t worry too much about it
What weird void orb?
The one in our living quarters?
Yeah
Sometime Warframe subreddit is fun
Looks like someone found some nitain
bro's been sniffing too much kuva
Wow. And I thought I had a tinfoil hat…
Whoever posted that, needs to switch to decaf. I haven't seen such a weird combo since the "Wii logo hints a VR visor" thing! XD
this doesn't make sense because DE don't know roman numerals (this is a fact and megan will back me up
Lol
mushroom sun fish... wow...
It's a shame this guy discovered this only after the release date
Otherwise he would have been a prophet
Okay so a cobra in a Mag costume? Terrifying
Nira?
More like mag in a cobra costume 😆
More a snake that behaves like a headcrab stuck on a mag prime corpse
Yeah, apparently. I just started playing New War and already I can forsee the many butt whoopings I may get fighting the snake
You won't if you have faster reaction time than a snail
Hey that's offensive to those of us with slower reaction time than a snail
Still the hardest Archon is probably Amar
Boreal is easy tho
Imagine if archon were actually faster + stronger.
Like they have been augmented by pazuul to be more threatening in their telegraphed attacks.
Like Nira actually lock you for 10 second with her petrify
Boreal has a faster fire rate on his laser
Amar has less cool down between attacks.
Also I think that each archon are pretty slow, it feels weird to think that we're supposed to fight the equivalent of ourselves but...slow?
They have mechanics that are pretty simple and good for a 3rd person shooter but lack speed, for a ninja game ?
Btw they could re use things from the beginning of the game, like the fact that you could block vor's laser attack by blocking with melee, currently with boreal's laser we can't
*easiest
Nah that's Boreal
no Boreal is the easiest but has the most annoying adds
Even tho nira has the healing one...
Ok who snorted the cryotic
And the snake has been charmed
I have done it. Wow. What a story.
Now wait 9 more days for an even better story (probably)
From a war that has devastated the entire sol system to creepy soap operas
What a shift
My favorite part of the New War quest is that we united the system against the Sentients off-screen and proceeded to lose the war anyway
Not be salty, I was genuinely shocked when part 2 started up and I realized what'd happened
Barely "united", far closer to all in the same place
Duviri has given unto us gifs
the hikou is so fast istg
Yes
Probably going to bring Mesa Prime into Duviri if the game rolls it on a particular run
and flying horses too
i still need the gif of thrax hitting the chair and the void going like BOOM you know what I mean the time reset gif
where he like clinks his fingers against the chair and then hits it!
Can guarantee someone is going to mistake regulators for being able to one shot the orowyrm
It is important in the adult version of the shiny kid wich remained in the ship that had to do the voidjump wich was built by he people who built the robots that almost destroyed the solar system lore . And the dominux guy is one of those humans u can see the blueskin and long arm .
And still people wonder why Ballas was important
If only her 1 didn't have a Damage cap, this could be recreated ingame
How do you get the Dax operator outfit?
you need to get steel essence, either via SP incursions or killing acolytes in the SP too.
And how do I unlock SP?
clear star chart
Ah ok
Arbitrations are also unlocked at the same time.
Dominus doesn't have blue skin
Tbf the only part where his skin is visible is his left hand, and probably not a lot of people notice that
It implies that he either made an extension of his arm or literally chop his left arm to have his "orokin" one
Kinda gruesome
Orokin is as Orokin does
Orokin fanboy spotted, remove their left arm
Right arm*
i wonder when nightwave is gonna end and have new stuff
At some point in the near or distant future
There’s probably a “giving them a hand” joke in here somewhere… I can’t think of one though.
Power difference is immense when you lose the Tenno advantage and phargasa makes an appearance
That said yes Ik this is late and yeah part two is shocking anyways because of how total the loss was
Yeah, I absolutely loved the reversal. Would have also liked a bit of leadup where we got everyone on-side, just for even more irony when it doesn't work
i would have liked to see or hear about more tenno tbh: we saw the sleepy rhino but wouldn't it have been cool if there were other railjacks or even just dialogue about other tenno fighting in the system?
Dear god yeah that too. Just add some random railjacks to the skyboxes in part 1.
Just one or two constantly spinning either horizontally or vertically
I kind of want Thrax to just be a kid using an adult-sized prosthetic and for that to somehow become the basis for the Orokin and their giant arms
I kinda want a mini Orowyrm as an Orbiter pet now....
yes
Orowyrm sentinel kit!
Actually real talk, I want to see more evolving cosmetics. Give us the next Protovyre set
Evolving you say.... Up for Mutating Infested stuff? I'd love to see something like that in game.
Yeah that'd be cool! The void-themed shoulder emblems are in already, so hey, precedent
Wyrm Prime but cooler
(Oro)Wyrm Prime

I'm still a bit worried I'll get in trouble if I name my kaithe Bucephallus
Doubt it, most people are okey with funny names, if they even notice, I named my railjack Little Penetrator and most I've gotten is some chuckles from it.

you'll be fine
worst that can happen is a popup says "no. change it"
I predict the Paradox will be that Drifter was saved by the future (post NW) Operator but Operator was saved by future (post Duviri) Drifter.
Just to write down something and see how it turns out
Me help brother Khal propose to blue girl. Blue girl say yes, Khal make new brothers.
It seems so.
Because the "other side trying to help you" feels like the zariman's hub but with us (operator) trying to help drifter ?
Or it would have been funnier if Deimos take a part and the cosmic clock is the other side like the entrati are actually trying to help drifter with also the aid of operator
Well at least Kaelli will get to participate in the New War's events and stop complaining about doing nothing
Although I wonder... What if future operator chooses not to help...?
am interested as why drifter reached out to Dominus Thrax
Mercy despite being tortured? We'll find out in a little over a week
Evil or not, I will not show mercy
anyway who's ready for the Duviri Paradox? I sure as hell am
I am very obviously not excited at all as can be seen by my pfp and the fact that I have a countown to the release as my status
If the Drifter experienced anything similar to the Operator then they have empathy, the same tool the Tenno used to calm Warframes.
I'd say drifter experienced something much worse, being without void powers and getting killed repeatedly
I’m talking about what they experienced aboard the Zariman
interesting thought
"Being without void powers" was relating to that
Ah
Pretty sure DE said the drifter of Zariman is not the same drifter as in Duviri
They never said that because they are the same.
"Should've stayed in duviri..."
^
That and why bring in another version of the Drifter?
I know they are the same but it's that DE confused me when I thought they said they were different
They aren’t
He says that when you selected Drifter after the talk with operator
Iirc Operator and Drifter were the same person up until the moment of the Wally deal, Operator took the deal and Drifter didn’t which created the two timelines, the two possibilities, part of the deal also collapsed every other possibility so only these two exist
Their histories from that point onward is everything that we know happens to the Operator and what we have yet to see for the Drifter.
He says that during the rj segment at the end
Ended up having to solo the final fight in an archon hunt. Beat them then the mission bugged
rip ):
There's nothing that says Drifter didn't took a deal, especially since he was well aware he'd get the powers some other time.
The implication he didn't take the deal of from the fact he was never rescued, our powers being the main reason we could be rescued
That doesn't explains what Drifter knows, which is the thing. Wally didn't tell him he'd get void powers sooner or later from their exchange, just that Wally would save all the other people from the disaster
Duviri will hopefully explain what the Drifter knows and how they know what they know
Also this
No deal, no powers, for Drifter or any other kids, which means no rescue.
Yeah, they mentioned that you will get stuff to upgrade your warframe and operator which is strange, like what kind of upgrade 🤔 .
But there's also the fact that there is 3 type of gameplay, which i wonder what is the "lone story", could it be about how drifter escaped, how ordis found him,etc...
Like yeah we don't really need to have some information but it feels really weird to not have anything.
And look how that turned out regarding Lotus in New War
They (everyone except Drifter, to be exact) didn't need powers to be saved, they couldve been saved by Wally any number of ways, Operator's version of the deal just involved those powers
And the opposite implication stems from the fact that Drifter felt the stab and knew they were gonna get powers.
Lack of any deal whatsoever is not a prerequisite for lack of void powers from the instant of the deal cutscene.
Yes but that's backwards. We only know they weren't rescued, nothing else.
When?
Only if we assume it's just plain empathy that allows for Warframe Transference.
We know empathy plays a part in it, as seen with Umbra iirc
We don't...
The explanation is that the Tenno can do what they do because they can take the pain away from Warframes...
Which is kinda a weird opposite of empathy. (Feeling someone else's pain)
And that they learned to do this from "within the derelict horror," aka the Zariman
We don't know if empathy plays a part in transference any more than it plays a part in holding the door for an old woman. You still need an arm and the strength to hold the door, empathy isn't the most relevant
Empathy probably makes it stronger or more effective. We know that non-Tenno are capable of limited Transference, including Ballas, who probably has very little empathy.
Why?
What part?
What reason precisely is there to believe empathy is crucial for transference any more than it is for typicall good things?
Why not sympathy, for example?
Oh, I was using empathy as a simplification for Ballas' "to take its pain away" explanation. Whatever word you want to use.
Oh right
I mean literal empathy, cause Ducky's point used to be that anyone with empathy can control a frame regardless of void powers being a Tenno.
My gut feeling is that the Tenno's Void powers also play a substantial role in their mastery of Transference, even though Ballas specifically contradicts this.
And also that Silvana only failed to use Titania because she didn't have empathy for Titania.
Sorry, I'm just jumping into this convo so I haven't scrolled up to read older messages.
I think if you try then the old lady will@help you
True, but also Ballas mostly makes vague suggestions to what Umbra should do rather than full uncontested control...
Umbra hates Ballas, after all...
What I mean is that if you are nice to the warframe then the warframe will help you with transference
I doubt being nice is enough
If that was all, anyone would have been used in the Old War, not just Tenno.
I meant Ballas says "It was not their Void devilry" that allowed them to control the frames. I wasn't referring to Ballas' actions.
Maybe they di…..d
My bad, I meant to say "regardless of being a Tenno"
Cause Ballas said Tenno had learned to take the pain away because of their experience of the derelict horrors in the Zariman.
"Hey this is your father we had to turn him into a Warframe cause he had a deadly disease. Now control him in the War for us"
Well the beginning for the argument is that Drifter must be generally very empathetic towards Dominus based on Drifter being able to use Warframes.
It's not a question of "maybe"
And that's a result of whatever happend in Duviri quest, cause Drifter very much has no idea what's happening in the quest when he gets the phantom stab
How can the reason for the beginning of the quest be the result of what happened in the quest, though?
(The stab being felt)
Anyway, point is, it's not necessary that Drifter got no deal.
It isn't the result of it. The stab is purely just the start point. Drifter very clearly had no idea he was going to get stabbed or what was happening
Yes that's what I said, Drifter feeling the stab leads to the events of Duviri and later.
But the lack of accepting any deal still fails to explain the occurrence of the stab feeling
So it's not necessary that Drifter accepted no deal
Feeling stabbed wouldn't be connected to taking or not taking the deal, not on Drifter's end
Why exactly wouldn't it be? It absolutely could
Wally must have sort-of delivered the Lotus hand to Duviri given that the same hand was shook upon in the deal
We just don't know for sure whether Wally and his deals are irrelevant to Drifter feeling the stab and whether Drifter took no deal.
No it wasn’t?
I said it plays a part in it lol
But then why did you say that empathy was the reason Silvana couldn't control Titania and not the fact that she isn't a Tenno?
When did I say that?
A lot of things play a part in any ability, but we don't talk about every little possible factor.
Yesterday or a couple days earlier
I didn’t, I don’t know anything about Silvana and her relation to Titania
I haven’t played that quest in years nor do I talk about Silvana cause I don’t remember anything that happened in the quest
My bad
It was Faeii but I got confused cause you're the only other person I've ever seen bring up the word empathy
It’s all good
I know empathy isn’t the driving factor for transference to be possible, but in terms of the Tenno it is a factor that, at the very least, helps them to soothe the pain of their Warframe
Or at the least that’s the case with Umbra
If empathy was all it took then we’d be out of the job anyway
Sure, a Tenno who isn't empathetic would be less likely to bother...
But I still find it quite odd to focus on the empathy part.
Tenno are brave too, but we don't talk about that
True, I’m sure bravery goes into transference too
I’d have to replay it (again) but in the Sacrifice it felt like empathy was of great importance in how the Tenno helped the Warframes, of course it wasn’t the only thing but when compared to the Orokin and from what I got from it it was invaluable
what other umbras do you think are out there? I'm thinking Rhino, Loki, Mag, Trinity, Frost, Valkyr and Nyx
Nekros and Oberon too maybe, Ash also
like, starter/early frames
None? Umbra was a special punishment, not a prototype
didn't silvana not like titania that much
And...?
My point basically is: Silvana didn't like the Orokin either, does that make it even tougher to control a Warframe?
Or does her knowledge as an infestation biologist make it easier?
But ballas makes it clear that the tenmo can't control the warframes because of their void magic but rather because they're good therapists, and that's because of their empathy, they relate the the frame
It wasn't their void devilry, nor their alien minds, it was their ability to look into a broken, ugly thing and take away its pain
So Silvana didn't have that and couldn't do it because she didn't go through a traumatic experience that made her relate to Titania
Tenmo
Oh come on
So like, empathy plays a big part on it but the core of the thing is that they're basically super therapist to the frames
Magical space void devil therapists
"Damn, you've been through some stuff"
New friend obtained
Basically lmao
Tbf that's how it sometimes works in the real world too
All it takes to be a super therapist is some super trauma!
Best kind of therapist
If you think about it we're Batman meets Neon Genesis Evangelion only crime didn't kill our parents, it was ourselves :D
That's gonna give anyone trauma
Wait no no need for batman everyone had at least a dead parent in Evangelion
We are only missing the copious gold at times and a normal pedestal to complete the holy trinity of pedestals
The Drifter’s batman since they maybe didn’t kill our/their parents
Question: am I being dumb when I say that I hope that there isn’t a Warframe coming with the Duviri Paradox? I say that because the bread and butter, the meat and potatoes if you will, of the update is based on Drifter combat and non Warframe combat stuff
Maybe, but only a little. Voruna was originally supposed to be the Duviri frame, but I like where she is now.
If there was one then I’m pretty sure DE would’ve showed it off during the Duviri devstream
Nope, there is nothing, because they put 2 deluxe skin and i guess that it would be way too much grind because of them "hyping" up duviri by saying that there will be a lot of upgrades for OP/warframe.
Like if there was,voruna+orowyrm grind+ weapons grind+intrinsic farm+fishing+other things...
I don't think you could handle that much farming, it is still a content island but i think there will be way more things on it. And it seems to be also fun, tho they could add a "banner" type of enemies that could boost other unit's speed...But maybe there will be something like that ? Because they look rather slow
I think we can count the new drifter stuff and the horse as our new frame for this update.
I hope the Intrinsics will carry to our Operator, and that we can (even if only eventually) user our Operator in Duviri, too.
That would be fun!!!
I would assume we can use our Tenno/operator form in the Circuit
The grineer seeing a kid using a horse to rush against them 😮
We have archwing and K-Drive themed Warframes. Are we going to have a horse themed Warframe in the pipeline?
Peace, love, and all due respect, I hope not
its only logical right ?
That would be raw as hell, like imagine a paladin rushing through hordes of enemies with a horse
That would be sick but until we get a feel for how the horses work, I’m a bit apprehensive about new movement systems after Waverider
Yeah, that's more a map problem than anything else tbh. Because k-drive is actually okay-ish, even tho the momentum is problematic in a game like warframe. Where no one know how to control that.
Ah yes, the experience of bumping lightly into a rock and being ragdolled halfway across the Valis
Also, bold of you to expect that the Warframe with horse would ride it instead of BEING the horse....
Yes, this is good design, why? Because you're playing tony hawk's pro skater
Tenno Hawk's Pro K-Drive
They flat out said one of the rewards for doing Duviri is a Warframe during the gameplay stream.
wait what ? I didn't knew, it's a new warframe or Voruna ?
New frame, hasn't said anything beyond that
I don't recall that. I remember them saying that Voruna had been planned to launch as the Duviri frame but they shelved the idea.
i dont recall that either you remember the part where they said it ?
No, I'm looking through rn
So there is a chance that they've done an incarnon warframe lol.
With how the drifter's executor (idk his name but he was reading thing) can incarnon thing in his hand, there is a chance... Which would be so weird and funny
i remember something about being able to farm normal frames in duviri but dont remember anything about new frame
........technically Sevagoth is the Incarnon frame
wait you're right, and i forgot that i should play this dude, because he is kinda very good no ?
I know, but "because Zariman-accident-trained-therapist" as an explanation is pretty much the exact same as "because Tenno."
Which is why I say the latter rather than saying "because empathy."
Oh wait yeah I misheard it.
Yes
The fun part about seva is that the ability everyone subsumes him for is extremely optional on him
And then subsume him once he reaches max rank because who actually plays sevagoth normally and didn’t subsume him
The one frame that doesn't need gloom is the one that has gloom, ironic
I like melee, shadow is immortal melee, I like shadow
Farming up a second seva for the subsume I'll never use because gloom isn't actually that good
Ok you have a point however: Excalibur, valkyr, wukong, Titania, Garuda, gara ish etc
Revenant, Baruuk
Caliban
Excalibur is fragile, so is valkyr mostly, wukong, I don't like titania, garuda is fun, never got gara
I hate bounties
Still fragile
yes, mainly in orb vallis
You're missing the main point: when shadow dies I can just recast it
Fair but still you need to die first
Cross trade no exist yet
?
Which also usually doesn't happen
Are you kidding me just put on cross play and I can prob give you the bps
you cant
Cross trade isn't a thing yet, only crossplay
that you could
A combination of multiple factors make it very unlikely for me to ever get gara:
I don't like bounties and void fissures
Rng hates me
Then repent your sins to RNGESUS
I probably have a few myself as well
For starter make a sibear
I thought that they said that non-Steel Path Circuit was going to be an alternate method of obtaining Warframe's?
I Need Duviri
He seems to just prefer it when I play dark souls for some reason
I had 103 relics that had Nidus’s helmeth, which I want. So I ran tons of void fissure missions and rn I’m at 63 of those relics and still no Nidus helmet:/
Yeah
At that point, you probably have enough Prime junk to sell and buy the part you want. People never think to use that as a failsafe method for terrible RNG.
Then make another sibear after the first formad one
Then forma it and the first one 20 times
I have a full set of Shade Prime now so that’s something lol
Sevagoth making a coming back so he will stop having the most tedious way to get a warframe
And pledge yourself to RNGESUS and you will be forgiven
You typed ash wrong
just saw the farm, what the hell
Hopefully
Yeah depends on how angry RNGESUS is
Sevagoth is much less tedious than ash
I got all of Khoras rare bps first try so I probably used all my luck for that
they should have made voruna/citrine tedious to get, like there is no RNG, you keep farming until you get enough ressources 🧠
I tried farming base khora once. Never got her main or sustems bp
F
But I had like 4 chassis bps
What about base harrow
I got all of base Khoras bps from farming focus in ESO until I figured out that void angels and void cascade are way better to farm for focus
There's still rng tho, that's just the devs adding a mercy system
Nothing. Ever. (except chassis obviously)
No surprise
The mercy system guarantees you'll get it after a set amount of runs, but you can get it sooner than that with good RNG.
Which is why people with bad rng must repent to RNGESUS
Isn't khora only obtainable through regular so
How does one do this
I don't think void angels/thrax enemies are better but a calm way to get focus, like you get your ressources (for weapons/warframe) + have some farming for focus, and it's great, but ESO is always faster
But TBH i loved killing angels/thrax for standing, it just felt much better, you play with your focus school instead of not playing with it and have like : oh yeah you spend eidolon's shard or use your weapon which has literally no link with your focus school but it work because you put a lens
Idk I forgot
I listed a way
Most are torturous and rely on rng yet of RNGESUS decides you are ready to accept him again you shall receive
I mean void angels give you 15k focus off the bat and combined with the 2500 focus that Thrax give you, I found it pretty easy to do. It’s also how I unlocked all the way bounds for my op/drifter
Yep, honestly i think angels/thrax are the best way to farm because you're actually playing your focus school instead of just spending random ressource or some random exp comes to your focus school lol
Yea exactly
If duviri allow OP to have melee weapons on normal gameplay... Does that mean that Naramon's focus school will be actually really good for operator ?
Like hear me out : you have a lot of bonus for yourself and it make your gameplay very comfy because you don't have to stress about losing combo for example
So could that mean that it could make your focus school...Better ? In another way than buffing it ?
I’ll just trade all my prime junk for plat and buy the Nidus helmet that way smh. RNGESUS will never give me mercy
Because you have already shown your not willing
when was it exactly, that warframe became an rng cult? I only remember the red text cult
I’m pretty sure only drifter will have access to melee and that’ll only be in Duviri. You do get to have all the melee weapons for normal Warframe gameplay tho iirc
They could have buffed naramon in a new way but whatever i guess
Oh wait that mean that i will have a chance to get those mockery of a dax's weapon 😮
teshin's weapon is literally hystrix but melee
There will be no op melee outside of duviri
It has always existed
I’m so jealous that new players get to experience Warframe in a totally different way and immediately get access to Duviri if they choose to do Duviri first. Them seeing drifter in TNW will be more like “oh look its the guy from Duviri” instead of “Oh look the op got old and came back”
Kinda make me sad 😔 could have made some very drastic change on how we could have use for focus school :
Naramon could be a very focused melee type of gameplay that can be played with even the operator with melee,so it's not only beneficial for the warframe, but also OP
Zenurik doesn't need change, it's just great for normal gameplay and feels good for begineer
Vazarin, with the help of intrinsic it could add better use of the vazarin, allowing you to "tank" enemies (up to archon's level for example) and get the aggro (i don't think it really exist, but a mod say that it somehow exist)
Madurai, it's just great, no need to have buff tbh
Unairu, a debuff focus school that is great but not in pratice because of how scuffed the gameplay can be as there is a lot of delay between OP/warframe. But maybe an intrinsic that allow your operator to have +50% Casting speed/projectile speed ? Because Unairu has : CC,Shield/armor strip, great synergy with warframe but is pretty slow. It could be very interesting a thing like someone who always play operator and help all of the team to debuff them, making a "support" gameplay.
Oh and for people who will ask against who we should have this "buff", against smilar enemies like thrax. But without the 200% void damage bonus against them lol
Ok I see your point
So I just met the lotus in person. Is that the end of the story?
second dream ? you are starting the main arc
congratulations, you have finished the tutorial
I feet like something was missing from the trailer, it was really good but didn't live up to my hype. It needed the "doominuuuus, ooOooOohh doominuuuuus" song
Wdym delay between OP/Warframe?
It's very smooth for me
WF to Op is faster than ever while Op to WF is as fast as a WF melee attack.
My computer suck
Turn down settings if you haven’t already
I put a big Mastery plaque panel here since before Voruna update and it didnt clip anything.
now there's this new debris appeared out of nowhere that clips it 🤔 since when?
It came with the either the Voruna update or the Citrine update, don’t remember which
It might do something when Duviri drops, or after that, but that’s speculation since it currently does nothing
If that's in the Zariman, probably something to do with Duviri
Anyone got an idea on how i could decorate my dormizone table area to look like its split b/w and colored on each end? Ping me if you have an idea
It is, our dormizone
That thing spawned out of nowhere yep,idk what is this supposed to be but it look like a table so you can change a baby's diaper
did they re-use drusus VA so it's also for bombastine ?
They don't really sound similar
Hi
“Eternalistically” I’m taking that
That’s funny. Good job.

i kinda hope we will get to use the dormizone as a player house like the ||drifters camp|| and orbiter when duviri comes out.
Same
God, the Xenoblade expansion drops the before Duviri, how am I going to do both
I want future redeemed so bad but I don't have extra moneeeeeyyyy
I also wonder if we will get zaws and kit guns in teshins cave
Or companions
No loot vacuum may get annoying if there end up being a lot of loot
Hmm, good question. I think that the Duviri cycle is going to work differently. Rather than crates and horde pickups, in Duviri proper you'll get rewards immediately, from fishing, helping NPCs and fighting off the bosses.
Undercroft, of course, will have us doing normal Warframe stuff
dang time to move the panel and all the mastery trophy
welp, time to also un-barricade the door
Or leave it barricaded and have a secret entrance
Tbh they should just make an item/decoration that allow navigation.
Like just go the easy way and do that lol
Wait are the prime pedestal and umbra pedestal the only pedestals
Do y'all think that for a punishment , ballas has thrown the umbra pedestal against excalibur umbra ?
That profile pic is quite strategic...
People read you saying stuff like this but then the profile pic makes us forget.
The dormizone... There's something that bothers me
I decorate my Orbiter for the fact that we are always in it... It is our Spawn point...
But besides that, the dormizone has an old and worn look, which makes me stay away from it so much... But I know why the dormizone is worn out (Zariman)... However, I think DE should make the Dormizone be an exception, and leave it "New" by default, to be more attractive.
Or make it customizable like the orbiter because some people might prefer the way it looks now
And I'm not sure how walls and floors can even be "attractive"
I would like it if we had the chance to restore the hub area and the Dormizone on the Zariman to pristine condition. That could be cool, considering other changes we have seen are usually degradation (Plains/Fortuna post-TNW, for example).
Would be a nice additional quest reward to make you feel like you’re having an impact. Gets a bit dreary living in the ghost ship.
I respect the attempt
Pfft
Raw as hell
Infested liches ? Finally we will have a main antagonist for the infested
?
Necramech content annonced
maybe it means that there will be some tweak for it to feel good, even tho i feel like a dreadnought in WH40K
3rd orb is real
okay so what if like. Narmer has taken over the Tau galaxy while we've been protecting the solar system. and sometime after duviri and other shennanigans we get sent to the tau galaxy to try and stop Pazuul and his new Archons?
Ballas nearly ate the sun just to have enough juice to jump to Tau. The Zariman was a folly idea from the get go
I doubt they reached Tau so quickly.
Well, the Zariman may have worked. Yonta says she figured out how to make the jump... Whether that's a hint for the future for how we get to Tau or not remains to be seen, though.
Zariman would've have worked baseline if the Orokin hadn't tried to speed things up.
Pre update theory statement: What if Bombastine is the one really pulling the strings? Sure it’s Thrax pulling the trigger but what if it’s Bombastine who’s “in charge” of Thrax’ mood cycles? He was the focal point of Tennocon 2022 in terms of the special relay activity thing and he’s the narrator for some of the trailers for the Duviri Paradox. I don’t have any evidence aside from that, I just get the gut instinct that while Thrax has the hand on the gun, Bombastine is the one calling the shots so to speak
*Thrax is shorthand for Dominus Thrax, I’m too lazy to type out Dominus each and every time lol
The tau system was cut off from solar system so i highly doubt that
Hmmm… looking at the Wiki, it says that Dominus Thrax was at one point in time referred to “The Child King”. Well if Human history is anything to go off of, child monarchs are the easiest to make into the puppets of the people really in charge
finally, the funny dual nikana
Now we just need zaw linking to make dual nikana zaws
So you need to mod every weapon that you have so you don't get any trouble with modless weapon lol
Looks at what I just said in #players-helping-players
"Melee attack hit twice" it is a crazy things to bring 😭
oh wow there's actually difficulty.
Maybe not in the undercroft with saryn's existence
if you get saryn among what 53 choices ?
i think it will only pick from your inventory (but if you don't have enough they give some random frame)
Meaning that someone will try to play the game with only 3 or 4 frame.
That would be crazy
during prime time they mentioned that starting from mr3 you can get from any of the 53 frames
when you start out you get your pool from a few simpler frames but starting around mr3 you get from all frames
Ohhh that's cool, this is very interesting . + they have stated that it's modded if you don't have it.
