The Tenno were actually supposed to be able to use transference on enemies, however back when War Within was made, the team were unable to make that type of coding possible so it was scrapped. I'm not sure if it can be considered canon are not since even though the ability was scrapped due to game mechanics, it was still intended to be an ability they had.
I personally think it's retconned because we never see it again and it'd be way too easy for Tenno to fight if they could yonk someone's body

As long as you simply know how an eidolon hunt works and can avoid getting in someone's way, you should be able to just start a random hunt at any time and get at least another shard.

There's a decent chance you can even do a full hydrolyst hunt because most players who start a random hunt by choice can solo a tridolon.

Most of the quests before Second Dream (release-wise) besides New Strange, Natah, and The Archwing's implication of Archwing-to-ship gameplay structure additions reuse base mission types quite solidly, and thus only really had small snippets of dialogue or occasional differing interactions, like the very first 'decision' of getting to sabotage a Galleon or leaving it be (and leaving with loot).

Of course a lot of that had since radically changed with a lot more to do, and the inclusion of Landscapes/zones like the Plains and Vallis add a good alternative progression route for persistent Tenno who dig in on the modular weapons, Moa, and whatever else they can pick up there.

You need to rank up there more to get more um things HELMINTH can do. Also you can get some pets there. The Vuplas and The other ones that aren't as good.

Getting the Like Helminth upgrade thing from Diemos let's you feed warframes to it and then use a specific ability from that frame on other warframes.
