I mean it makes some sense, considering that the tenno are arguably more diminished than the sentients are.

Arguably, mind.

They lack the extended support network of the Orokin, and at least two other factions that had previously at least been practical enough to throw in their lot behind the Orokin are now fighting them and each other. The sentients have lost numbers, but how much is ambiguous and Ballas' knowledge of how the tenno operate and their general abilities is valuable in figuring out how to deal with them at any given point in time. Add that to amalgams and archons... Well, it does skew things more towards Narmer.

Ballas was very much the lynchpin, though, as it seems like a decent bit of what he was doing relied on his specialized technical knowledge.

It's also worth noting that we might get something a little bit more like TNW's original plans much further down the line if only given that Hunhow was stated to be waiting for something and that Tau is still out there albeit currently uninvolved for reasons unknown. I really can't say though.

That's probably beyond the scope of what even DE can reasonably predict right now.

It's also worth noting that even though the grineer and corpus did show up for the first attempt at a metaphorical decapitation strike, warring against each other for a prolonged period of time definitely weakens you regardless.

I think i'm onto something but not sure.
In the Sacrifice, Umbra relived the same memory of Isaah's final moments over and over.
But the drifter relived the same day in Duviri over and over. And since I've been 99% sure wally purposely lead us to Umbra my masquerading as the Lotus' voice at the beginning of the Sacrifice, there might be a connection between the 2.

Again, I dunno if I'm getting my wires crossed or if I'm onto something. I just thought (Umbra relived the same memory which is internalized by the Operator + Drifter relived the same day in Duviri = connection?)

MITW wanted us to drink Kuva. But D.T. is supposedly the victim of continuity. It's difficult to say what D.T. is planning to do. Like Maybe Wally is the servant and D.T. is the master and D.T. is commanding Wally to help with trying to take over the Operator's body. Hard to say tbh.

Then, and this is iffy, there's Lotus' helmet And D.T.'s mask. Lotus, Operator's parent, disappeared while leaving behind a helmet. Maybe D.T.'s parent disappeared leaving behind a mask? I thought maybe, if Duviri is going to have a stereotypical knight vs dragon fight like in a fairy tale. Someone, likely D.T.'s parent, might've been reading stories like that to D.T. while wearing this mask as he slept or even acted out those stories using that mask....ooo, if i'm right about this. maybe one of those stories includes that mirror queen story from the Zariman ARG

I feel like the big thing is the weapons of the Tenno are not heavily computerized and that is the problem the Orokin had with other systems, they probably had super advanced automated weapons platforms and super smart weapons and the sentients could hack all that. but a Tenno piloted warframe with a shotgun, they cant hack either.

We have one actually present as a functional NPC, another that shows up dead in the Profit-Taker bounties. It's heavily implied that there are a lot more, but that they're usually traveling at any given time.

Kind of like the Tenno.

You know what thing the Void makes me think of? Strange Matter.

They are both theoretically perfect in energy production and duration since they are both theoretically neverending in their base habitat and can "convert" other matter into more of themselves.

There are thesis in which this Strange Matter is The dark matter relaying everything in the Universe, like Void in the game.

"More open world maps", yea still dont need Warframe 2.

None of your suggestions are fleshed out, nor do they necessitate a Warframe 2. Not to mention, where on earth is DE supposed to get the time and money to develop 2 full games (Soulframe and "Warframe 2") and manage Warframe at the same time? Are you going to call for the Warframe team to abandon warframe for warframe 2? How then is DE supposed to get money to even develop a new warframe? From their parent company after they watch DE throw away their biggest game?

We've already had two cases of games making a "2" this year, and both aren't improving on the game's experience in the way you think this "Warframe 2" will help with Warframe

Gta was a single player open world franchise, that eventually got an online mode (a rudimentary one in GTA IV) and GTA online, that will still continue for at least 2-3 years

I don't think that a Warframe 2 would be a great success, and probably it would take at least more than 4 years to be even half of what warframe is today.

(making a decent foundation for an MMO takes a lot of years, and changing the engine wouldn't change DE's game design for the most part, and completely abandoning Warframe to make Warframe 2 wouldn't be that great of an idea since Warframe is their main source of profit)

A new engine doesn't mean it'll automatically look better or play better

A lot of things will be done differently and open up avenues for workflow, but it's not trivial. Development will be easier on average, but that's only after the game is already made to a comparable level, and making a game from ground up has to be a feasible investment in the first place. Besides, Warframe doesn't need to look any better than it already does, engine-wise.

A new engine still means that new models need to be made for them to look good, and those new models can just be added to Warframe as it is, like the new corpus ship tileset.

Incorrectly pretending that sticking to the old engine can only make new skins etc or that it's less receptive to big updates is also just flat out disingenuous.

Her eyes are static and unmoving, they stare forward and unblinking, which makes the skin feel a bit uncanny valley.

I think if they were to make them blink and make micro movements while speaking like real eyes do the skin would feel more natural.

Show them a timestamp from the end of Act 1 of New War. You can see the Paracesis on your frame in the cutscene, but when Ballas has it, it's no longer on your frame. The Paracesis is there even if you never built it.

There's a maximum number of warframes that are effective to have, those warframes have to work well in many mission types. If I go over that amount there will be too much overlap making some warframes obsolete. Obviously when there aren't too many mission types it's very hard not to have overlap but minimizing that is an effective way to prevent over-grinding. If I over-grind and end up making too many warframes I won't have a chance to use them all in enough situations, since there will always be one that's better for that specific mission!
