Regarding archon hunt, anyone know what causes archons health to suddenly have no damage attenuation during the 2nd phase? Just a build in feature to prevent you fighting it for longer periods of time or?

Some things can trigger the attenuation to not work or something, while in other cases like nira she can just immediately die for some reason, getting damage cap damage off whatever particular hit. Don’t think anyone knows the truth, but it doesn’t seem intentional

I think you are on about the Echoes of Umbra thing, which is different to Helminth Infusion and the Cyst matter. I recall this with vivid accuracy.

Nidus/Helminth was before Umbra. The Infusion system was sometime after Sacrifice. DE was planning to allow us to make Echoes of Umbra to install on other frames briefly, but the idea didn't survive as it was an expensive thing.

If DE wanted to have the Echoes of Umbra, one way they could do it is have a system where Umbra could go to the Somatic chair and have a second interaction.

That being swap seats - Op/Drifter would get up and Umbra would sit down in your place.

This would lock Umbra out of usability in exchange for any frame in use being remote'd by Umbra when you're not in them, at the cost of your Focus energy having a 25-50% recharge rate reduction (because Umbra's borrowing your Somatic/Transference network connection).

It'd give Umbra something to do and could be introduced as a miniquest prompted by some blank entry in the Warframes/vehicles/etc section of the Codex only visible to Umbra...

This would also give people who don't use Umbra much (but like the idea of their frame still casting and following them about when they step out) an alternative option to Specters, Wukong, etc.

Whole system could just be called 'Transference Umbra', because umbra=shadow.

I think Warden would probably be about detainment and execution:

His passive could be that crit/status procs stagger enemies with a cumulative disarm chance (or damage output reduction).
1: Detain Will
Casts a (silver-plated) Corrupted mask upon target foe, hijacking them briefly (mask has limited battery life).
2: Impose Legam
Layers Warden in an overshield. Sufficient damage by each enemy that attacks him causes them to slow and makes Detain Will a free-cast on them.
3: Charge
Rushing for a short distance, knocking down all in his path. Charging at allies applies some of his Legam shield to them and heals them at a small cost to his own shields.
4: Jade Execution
Diverts energy into a focused Disruptor beam cannon, weaponizing himself. Starts as a radial spread of smaller beams, but 'wraps' together into a larger beam, the longer it is held the harder it gets to move, with Warden being immobile when the beam is fully aligned to target. Releasing the fire button/key causes the beam to revert back to normal. He cannot roll/slide/jump/parkour/run or crouch during this state. Receiving damage increases outgoing damage when focusing.

Signature weapons:
-A Tenno shotgun that fires in bursts, can be charged to fire a beam of plasma-infused, superheated projectiles.
-Tatsu before it got touched by the Eidolon. Would need another name.

Both wouldn't be as powerful as their Eidolon equivalents; Warden would be craftable from Revenant parts, requiring Void Traces and a Forma on his own base blueprint to complete.

Could be part of an 'Old War' series of frames that don't get Primed? Like, sidegrades to base versions of frames with different gameplay outlines, but are similar enough that you can see how they turned out to be the frame we know and recognise at present?

I've also been thinking of Xaku a lot, and I may have worked out what their "base frame" might have been, with it may being a "plant" warframe.
Point 1: The skeletal form shown during The Vast Untime looks to be made of aboriform, an orokin plant
Point 2: The Lost: Gaze and Grasp of Lohk create "tendrils" out of Xaku which look a lot like vines
Point 3: We've already seen with other Warframes that they can create life (Nidus, Titania and Hydroid are some examples) so it isn't that hard to believe that one could control plants.

Little sub theory: One of the other parts may be Nova, with TVU slowing enemies just like Molecular Prime and The Lost: Accuze creates a fissure in space, like Nova's Wormhole. Xaku's Kintsu helmet also looks like Nova's base and Quantam helmets
