i have distroy the monster in the cahl thing but the hp is not away, am i in a glitch?
i have give up because i was stuck in the game
Nah you didnt destroy it, it just clipped through the floor
how?
Void magicks, just run the mission again and you should be fine
if there was no glitch i have get so much points, it was the best run jet
i have found the tools and i have do it in time so i have lost 50 points
You can do the challenges separately, you don’t have to do everything in 15 minutes, just do the mission again
this was the run where i have want to do it in 15 minutes and i have found the tool box in the run so that's why i'm so upset about it
Pazuul is just Erra turned furry
Pazuul isn’t furry really it’s basically Erra, sentient body and a solid ram head
I only see metal and demon energy
Must be Scandinavian metal
You dont have to do it all in one single go though
i just have found one tool box in the run
It’d be like sticking a real ram’s head onto your body but the ram can talk and has control
Where his real head?
Burned with Praghasa?
consumed

Is Erra Edible?
Are sentients in general edible
Probably not
Praghasa just gave Erra a head
Erra turned furry
You would break every tooth
This massive sentient mothership somehow possessed Erra to turn into an animal
And you want to eat Pazuul?
Go ahead, I don’t know what side effects you’ll have
Indigestion and your stomach will start talking about taking over sol
spoiler question for a mission ||there's a laser fence in kahl's missions, how do i go past it||
You can't
If you want music piece, then it's a jumping puzzle
I hate jumping puzzles, got a vid for it?
Some one probably already made a guide, didn't check
it was the cargo box
There’s a part on the 2nd floor that’s near the rail in the middle of the room, jump to the rail by getting as close as you can to it before jumping
I dont have a visual to help but there’s a lil that you can’t see unless you look that you can jump from
or maybe there’s a cargo box to jump from
can you only rank up with kahl once a week?
They said it was based on how many "brothers" kahl had in his following so might be once a week or more per time you do
I personally love that there’s no messaging around how to rank up with Kahl’s syndicate
I don’t like how stock is gained off of the optional challenges though
it goes up with each mission
I wish I could leap into the screen and onto this pile of floofs
Needs more Floofs.
What floofs would you have in real life
Yes
That’s the right answer
That's the only answer
Discord is the easiest way to communicate over voice, video, and text. Chat, hang out, and stay close with your friends and communities.
Just throw down a blunt and climb on top of it
i honestly kinda like the kahl mission but the command mode literally does not work for me and it's keeping me from enjoying it fully _(:3」∠)_
Hey can we agree that since the ||Tenno is a space ninja then Drifter is a space cowboy?|| Because ||Drifter got the whole set: A gun, a horse, space Far-West and he's kind of a outlaw.||
A tenno is a space warlock IMO. Makes a deal with an eldritch entity, gets insane powers out of it, and it is edgy
So Drifter is a Hunter then?
there is no easter bunny, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no fourth k-drive part
Wouldn't exactly call the Man in the Wall edgy. He's having waaay too much fun for that.
I'm saying us tenno are edgy
Oh, I thought with "it" you meant him, since we are more than one.
#howto #warframe #somachord
After hearing some of the new dialogue, ||my headcanon is that all Sentient's are furries, and nobody can change that.||
big spoilers ^
Stalker was already a bow guy cause Dread so...
Can't say he wouldn't have liked Nataruk
Stalker needed a weapon Hunhow could control him through. Nataruk is not that.
When can I run errands for grandpappy Hunhow, I like the Sentients
It would be really cool fighting alongside friendly Sentients in some missions for Hunhow. 😄
You never know, maybe he hates us slightly less now that Natah is free again.
I <3 my sentient planet destroyer grandpa
- we killing archons and striking against narmer
anyone think that amalgams were prototype archons
Archon's are from the Old War.
Amalgams were just Alad V being Alad V.
Hunhow didn't control Stalker through War, otherwise he would've made him kill us after we awoke on Lua. It merely allowed Hunhow to guide him.
...what archons were from the old war??
GPS sword
Yeah, Hunhow said so.
"Hybrid abominations from the Old War."
the heads were, but the attaching of the frames too? That doesn't seem to make sense
Yep, all from the Old War.
Why not?
The heads are Sentient. The bodies are Warframe. If it was just the heads, they wouldn't have been hybrid abominations, would they?
Only "new" Archon is Erra/Pazuul, but Pazuul was already a head waiting for a host.
I interpreted the way hunhow said to mean that they are a hybrid abomination of things from the old war..
Yeah, I don't think archons used warframes as host during the old war
However they still existed
that is how i understood it
Ah, gotcha. Yeah, they've been around since the Old War with the Warframe bodies. Erra created them back then.
Wouldn't have given his statement that Nataruk is as old as the Archons much gravitas though.
Caliban may have even been his prototype for them.
Caliban does seem like he was a fairly recent creation.
caliban was definitely from old war
What does his helmet description say? Didn't read it
That he's been around since the old war
...I'll just look up the text.
so weird, coulda sworn archons weren't so old from the way DE talked about them pre-release
still doesn't feel right, really
"A fearsome alternative helmet to give Caliban a look he has not worn since the Old War." Alright, fair enough.
Specifically that it's a look he hasn't worn since the old war
Also all archons are prime frames possibly to signify how they're orokin tech and thus very old
Of course it doesn't mena primes are first but it means primes were more common
Can't blame me for thinking that though. The Archons are Sentient creations crudely grafted onto Warframe bodies, while Caliban is a perfect fusion of Sentient and Warframe.
archons being from old war really just.. kinda makes new war feel lamer and lamer... like nothing about it was new at all
Technically archons are very important sentients grafted onto warframe bodies
I don't think Primes were more common, given only the Prime Vanguard were allowed to use them.
not a single thing wasn't ancient, and everything about the old war had way more weight on the world than new war ever could
I mean more common than today
Narmer
Narmer Veils
The veils are new
that's basically it.. just.. ballas's old dreams of control.. except even that was a bit of a orokin empire revival attempt
I mean, The New War was just the final culmination of all that was left undone in the Old War. Ballas doing what he did with Narmer was new, but otherwise it was still all his machinations, like The Old War probably was.
the veils also feel like extensions/improvements to the void corruption drones th at take over people in orokin ships
Ah yes, because the orokin empire mind controlled everyone
Even Hunhow said "Did you end our war, or merely set the stage for the next?"
it was an empire revival.. but more focused on ballas himself
It seems weird to me that archons, as important as they are (Amar even trained Natah to decieve) would let themselves be grafted onto Warframe bodies and be used as henchmen
Wait what
Archon hunt dialogue
I missed some lore by not doing the archon hunts, huh
Natargulotus says Amar trained her
No, to us during the Octavia's Anthem boss fight.
Ahh yeah.
Didn't have to delete the message.
Kinda makes that stuff not fun if the first mission attempt instantly fails for no reason
I accidentally edited it instead of putting the new message lol
Yeah, why would erra have grafted the archons back in the old war...? Did they even get to see any use back then, or were they made too late??
So deleted it and left a new ahh yeah. XD
Haha yeah super fun to not have revives at all
I like that we don't have self-revives. Makes it more important to pay attention and play carefully.
Nah, mobile defense objective just instantly popped for no reason
I don't die
Forces the squad to stay together and help each other.
i thought the archons coming after the speech of natah about amalgams with the 'weakness of neither' woulda fit the descriptions of waht archons were meant to be, but if they are old, it just kinda sucsk the life out of that..
Hunhow says that they were made from battlefields were both sentient and warframe fell so perhaps they didn't have a choice
Amalgams did go nowhere
Guess Alad had the rights to them
as in, that was a desperate attempt to keep the archons alive?
Eidolon archons?
Kind of?
It is kinda odd that they had an entire event setting up the creation of the Amalgams, only for them to not even be remotely important to the New War.
Archons don't have the benefits of both either.
archons being old just feels.. so disappointing... makes them less spooky even
Don't see how
well pazuul still spooky for other reasons
We even know the heads are pretty important sentients from way back
Wonder who Pazuul was before the Erra takeover
Perhaps a third hunhow child? I wonder
because if the archons were made fresh in new war with old dead sentients from old war, it woulda given this feeling of them using the things that killed them to bring themselves life
Perhaps the Archons were heavily wounded during the Old War, commanders of their own, so they were used to preserve them.
It's no less "spooky" than the original return of the Sentients. The return of an enemy that was beating the Orokin is auspicious no matter what
but instead, they were made way back then and just kinda forgotten about, in some old dump somewhere who knows where the archons would have been kept away if they were from old war
Maybe.
what/where were they the whole time if they are old creations that arne't dead
Same dump the entire sentient invasion force was kept in
Praghasa
On a Murex or Praghasa. The Sentient were literally waiting to strike back
Probably if he used the Heads of the Beast Lords of Tau and jaut put them on Warframes
That makes sense.
Also he Kept Pazuul and didn't turn him into a Archon
Cuz Pazuul is wildin I guess.
I wonder who he was
I am really curious about what the Archons were, because they had to have been made for some purpose on Tau
Yes, but we get lore on every archon from Natargulotus
I meant who he was as in what did he do
i'm quite sad...
Amar was made in the image of Old Earth Animals
Cuz reasons.
Apparently just top dog sentients, amar being literally Natah's teacher for example
I'm not. Doesn't really matter to me.
yes, in thr image of a wolf
Which is an old earth animal
It is also possible that the Archons were simply unfinished before Erra got near-fatally wounded by the Tenno. After Regor awakened the Sentients, Erra found the time to finish them and make them battle ready.
Natah Talks about Their people "tau would have forgotten about their people"
All of them are made in the image of old earth animals
It is possible, but I do think it unlikely, given all the dialogues we have about them.
this also makes the fact that its grafted onto a warframe.. less cool, because he did it a billion years ago and didn't even make them a better body in hte meanwhile
They were just hidden with thr rest of the big army
Also Pazuul seems to have been Purposly not turned into a Archon.
How? Frames are literally some of the best tech you can get
Especially the Primes, yeah.
What better thing could he have used than a prime Warframe?
Mmm I hope we get lore on him, the head I mean, Pazuul
Cause it'd actually be good if he was a 3rd child of Hunhow imo
They obviously don't like the bodies, they seem to resent becoming their current form according to natah
I think taking a Prime frame, something the player is familiar with, and turning it into an enemy you have to fight against is pretty clever
Yes, because they're heads in general
Idk if he's Hunhows Child Specifically
Also I don't know how often he means him or he Means Erra
Plus it was war. Not exactly a time to keep comfort in mind.
natah says it as 'they resent being turned into mere weapons' or some such
He'd have to be the middle child
Neither do I but it'd create interesting dinamics
That's only Boreal
I kinda doubt Pazuul is Hunhow's son.
Amar likes being a Hunter and Nira maybe is controlling Pazuul. @hexed ember
Which is also wild.
them being made in old war, and yet not have any presence or acknowledgement of their presence in the old war, not being cool zombie sentients brought back for new war but just hidden away on a ship..
I believe Erra confirmed before that only he and Natah/Lotus are left of their family, so they're probably the only 2 children from Hunhow.
I think the New War has just been completely ruined for Zext.
Oh I also wonder how much of Pazuul's mind is mixed with Erra's cause he calls to part of Erra's family in first person
Yeah
But yeah only Boreal really hates being a Archon
The other two are fine with it lmao
If Erra had been the one controlling their deployment (as seems implied to me), it makes sense they would have been inactive all this time.
He said he was the only family she had left
With Hunhow literally fighting in orbit
:p
I think that was when Hunhow was being felled for their plan, though.
...so were the archons actually -used- in the old war...?
That's no different than every other thing they brought back, like Mimics
Damn he must've flown a long distance from Lua to uranus then
I believe so.
not really, because mimics are just sentient foot soldiers like everything else, and we obviously have a lot of evidence of the presence general sentients had during the old war. Archons are big figures, but came out of nowhere to us
I think at that point their plan to have Hunhow let himself be killed on purpose was already set in stone, just not put into practice yet.
Again, no different than Mimics, no different than Erra, no different than Praghasa
???
Yes that was on purpose but if it was in that moment then he'd have to get defeated and then fly to uranus from Lua and burry himself
That's a huge difference. That's like if the first time we ever heard about hunhow being stuck on uranus was new war quest.
there wasn't even the slightest hint of archon existence before the quest
First time we hear of Erra is 2 cutscenes before new war and he's a main player
Just make the quest Natah and it'd be no different
and yet they are major figures, weird zombie combo creatures that everyone just knows existed from old war
Big players coming out from the woodworks is just how the game does things
i will say the lotus refused to talk about Tau and her orgins for a long time and then just left
Not exactly a new practice with games that have been online for this long.
Ballas literally appeared out of nowhere with no explanation of how he was alive and just kidnapped our mission controller
so like ShRug
Wrong, he was set up as far back as the Second Dream.
this would be the first time she would have been okay with talking about it
And Ballas just got some voice lines in Second Dream. Nihil and the Entrati are the real out of nowhere Orokin
One of the biggest things that bother me about Narmer is that narmified Grineer and Corpus units are never encountered at the same time, even though it makes no sense for them not to work together.
Yes, as an orokin and someone from Margulis' time, both things that are likely to mean you're dead
In apostasy he just appeared out of nowhere with no explanations as to how he was there or alive
like, it would've been more ok if the archons were just straight up sentients, but this form they took, being created by erra etc just.. sorta.. doesn't sit right.
Entrati was said in the Deadlock Protocol
(doesn't sit right for it all be from old war, but unimportant until now)
New major characters being introduced is just one of the things you have to accept when a game has been live and developing for so long.
it's not.. it's not that
If it makes you feel better, the heads are really important sentients
i just wanna point out when things where first said
I hope that Narmer Corpus and Narmer Grineer units are eventually encountered together.
they are well the Heads are we have learned
at the very least they are important sentients.. thought they were like, successful eidolon tier resurrections using frames.. I guess they can still sorta be seen as that, but instead of being recent they were old and hidden, which just feels.. dunno
From records of long extinct animals like snakes and wolves
Owls too
at least, I am assuming before they were attached to frames they were in some sense incapacitated -
otherwise I'd be even more confused
a bunch of them Trained Natah so like
Or very dead
yes
Isn't it only said to be Amar?
well, we don't know about nirah as much yet, maybe from her archon hunt
Like I said, it's the same as every other person in the game. You'd think we'd know about Parvos before Deadlock, or there being a Sun-Eating ship before New War
eh
We have Nira's archon hunt dialogue :p
we do cuz all the audi is on the game files
I linked it the other day
oh, didn't know people already mined that
I don't believe it was very deep
Anyway it only saved us like one week of waiting anyway
Is there also Erra's dialogue from his propaganda drones?
no
Damn it.
i mean, how did it get on the wiki without people mining it??
idk
I wish his propaganda drones had subtitles when you got near them.
I wonder who actually did the attaching of pazuul to erra
Praghasa
isn't she brain dead?
Reb said so in an interview
oh, i thought praghasa just saved him
She'd still have automatic systems
But for all intents and purposes yep she's dead
I wonder where Praghasa is, I want another quest with her
I wonder if Praghasa is starting to reawaken, since the ship attached Pazuul to Erra... Even if only a little.
yes but her machines till work
so.. pazuul.. was attached by praghasa to her own son. I wonder who Pazuul was to her...
otherwise
I figured Praghasa had been completely destroyed in the New War. Left to burn up in the Sun for good.
she couldnt ship
Pazuul: "Bones of my father, fathomed (?) around...behold me. Carcass of my mother, flame devoured...behold me. Limbs of my children, piecemeal, unblinking...behold me."
At least she's aknowledged
flame devoured...
like Praghasa is "brain dead" but all her Ship parts and Weapons Work
otherwise she couldnt eat the sun
Well, that is something at least. Would be disappointing to toss the Sentient mothership aside post New War I think.
Pazuul has a line about her biting his head off and sucking all the stuff
yes, but her being brain dead and still having working parts meaning that she very reactively slaps the head onto erra, which is.. interesting? Like.. it wouldn't have been a deliberate 'thought out' action.
yee
I think that was just him having some... issues. He's not exactly sane.
do you think pazuul was talking about himself or erra in that line..
I thin that's the Erra part talking about the transformation process
The Erra part of his mind even apologizes in one of his lines
Very sad stuff
Pazuul and the Archons bring up some really interesting questions that I hope, but doubt, will get properly explored.
Inb4 we free Erra and get an Erra and Hunhow Syndicate in the future! Death to Pazuul!
I could imagine Hunhow supporting Kahl's Garrison. Saving his son from Narmer control sounds like something Hunhow would do.
Honestly natah seems REALLY attached to erra still, she still hopes for him to not be dead. So yeah we probably will free him
I am hopeless about Erra
Pazuul is now on a weekly mission system and guys that enter that phase don't really get much resolution
I fear we'll be stuck with Ramhead
i think it'd be sadder if he was never really saved... but maybe the erra part could eventually enjoy a true death
sadder in a good way, i mean
It's one of the reason why Hunhow is so awesome. He's evil, but he would do anything for his family. Even in the Second Dream, he was practically pleading for Natah to return to him.
I still need some time to recover from archon frame grafting being old instead of new...
I mean when was the last time a warframe villain died, let alone one that's in repayable content
Vor, and maybe Regor?
Ballas
Lol
yeah, but not in replayable content
The quest is replayable
other than the quests themselves
The New War is replayable. 😄
but clearly, the quests are snapshots of time, more so than weekly missions are
Who's not part of any active content unlike archon hunt dude and the Beatles
Then Jordas.
Calling warframe bosses the Beatles from now on
Has Frohd Bek appeared in anything recently
He has been mentioned.
Lech Kril has also been absent.
Lech Kril isn't much of a character.
He died didn't he
the seargent
Out of all the Grineer bosses, Lech Kril is the only one that is kinda just... there.
Nah he's probably dead too, hence the need to invoke the deadlock protocol cause the votes weren't going anywhere
Seven for, seven against, cast and recast seven times.
His space would have been filled anyway, if he died. It's likely that the Board was just always an even number, so RIP them for lacking foresight in that regard lol
Alad V said in the Hostile Mergers fragment thingies that Nef Anyo was Bek's new favourite while he's trying to use the Amalgam project to regain his position.
Or not, hence the vote
Well then he's not chairman anymore
Wonder if that position falls automatically to Parvos...
Doubt it, since Parvos essentially said "screw the board, I'm making a new one"
with blackjack, and sisters
Otherwise yeah, he would most definitely be chairman by default, since Nef's entire plan hinged on his being Parvos' true heir to be handed the chairman seat.
He only mused about what he may do, but never said for sure what he would do. I think he simply retook control of the Corpus.
Specially sisters
wonder.. what is nef up to nowadays anyway
Recovering from 3rd degree burns
I can imagine the Corpus being kinda split now that Parvos is back. There are his loyalists, but the Board of Directors is probably not too keen on his opinions since he doesn't like what they have been doing lately.
All of the content where the corpus is relevant since that quest mentions him
Except new war
But yeah it's not like the corpus have ever been very unified
There are most definitely going to be Corpus who don't like what he's doing.
Like Nef.
Same message at the same time
alad v will jsut do whatever is the best deal
Worst*
He tries, bless him.
He keeps running into walls, but by profit he's going to break through one eventually if he just slams his head hard enough.
I meant the walls
i mean, we do tend to be the ones ruining his plans, maybe one would have worked by now if it weren't for those meddling tenno and their stupid kubrow
I meant he can't break them cause his broken his head before it could happen
Next thing we know the newest wall he's running into has a man in it.
I mean the void is basically thr only thing he has to muck with left
Nef: "Hey, that's my schtick!"
He was head of grineer relations and already tasted infestation and sentients, not to mention the whole wolf deal
Yeah he has to muck with the void
The Void be the word, and the word be profit.
Alad is absolutely the kind of person to make a deal with the Man in the Wall.
Which was a perfect explanation for syncing the Baro visits.
If alad v makes a deal with wally I'm bashing his head in with my bare hands
that was just eternalism
And then the relays
Baro himself explained he made a deal with Wallman for it to happen
Baro's message literally said he shook hands with a man looking exactly like himself
no i meant the syncing, as a joke
Well he said it was a dashing looking man
So yeah exactly like him
One thing I just noticed that most likely doesn't mean anything, most characters in Warframe only have their mouth visible while their eyes are hidden. The eldritch, god-like Man in the Wall? Only a mouth with no eyes.
Chad Mirage be the inverse of the rule
Mmm his mimic form also cover his eyes sometimes
With the Lotus helmet
Kinda reminds me of Bloodborne, where most characters also kept their eyes hidden, though they had an actual reason for it.
I love the track that plays during the boss fight with Ballas. "Sunkiller". The wind chimes and techno drones really add to the dramatic showdown.
The fact that Daughter only bets 20 credits shows the insane level of inflation Corpus have caused
If that's the case... We must be a LOT richer than we think we are
I mean
if nef anyo's max risk in the index is under 100k
I think that means that's a lot of money
I imagine betting 20 credits is like betting someone $20
Actually wait... According to the wiki.
I'll need a source on that
that reminds me......Kaelli owes Kahl 20 credits.
i think that’s why kahl tested the emergency channel with a condrix false alarm
i’m gonna love the dynamics between kaeili and kahl
How much credits would the average grineer get in the grineer army do you guys think ?
10 a day
grineer get paid?
Dunno that's another question
10 credits is 1.5 cents
They do drop credits
Yes
yeah, their whole life savings
0.015 cents.
I absolutely do not believe that wiki number without a source
Chances are it was said during a Prime Time stream or something, DE likes to drop trivia like that there. Weird that there isn't a source linked to it though.
zounds like whoever put it in the wiki pulled a senator armstrong
for some reason i read .00015 us cents as us dollars
You can buy Plat with money, and credits with Plat
I believe that's where they got the numbers
That's omega flawed
Indeed
Makes sense. Because 0.0015 cents per credit would make the "high risk index" give around 15 dollars which does not seem like a big investment for nef
Profit taker would drop 7.50 dollars which uh
Wouldn't be too much NGL
That price may be referring to some metals inside it that could've been salvaged very quickly (before it blows up)
So if dreams are stronger than the reality. Maybe controlling the Warframe is quite easy but need 90% transfer dream to Warframe, the 10% will remain conscious in your body. But that only could work on Tenno since they are the only person who can do it
Not sure where this "dreams are stronger than reality" thing comes from? Especially after Second Dream where we wake up.
I mean, if we remember what we dream, we somehow are quite genius and stronger than reality. Quite like a fantasy and also imaginative. But if you dream something, you feel that you are quite handle well inside the dream and smarter, but in reality which is where we are now we never know how did we dream about that.

Wat
Just what have i read ?
Example: you dream about a kung fu dream and you thought you have mastered it inside dream
But in reality you don't know about kung-fu
So what if the Tennos have been trained using dream to control the Warframes
Dreaming about being a Kung-Fu master and remembering that doesn't make you a master in reality, especially if you knew nothing about the martial art to begin with.
You do know dreams are based off our memories right?
The tenno use transference to control the frames, you dont need to be asleep to use transference
The Dream™️ was put in place to keep them from realising that they were groovy teenagers on the Moon. It isn't literal sleep.
They also used the warframes before they were put in cryosleep when they served the orokin and fought in the Old War
I see 🤔
Best seen with the cutscene with Lotus and her 7 Tenno cronies during the Old War. They sure aren't in the Dream yet.
Or I'm confusing things again, happens a lot.
I think imma finish whole game first so that I could combine everything about the old wars and new wars
Also we just know that in the lore. They were put in cryosleep to erase the traumatic memories from the war and the Zariman
Whether or not they had been put in the dream yet or not, the tenno in that cutscene are very decidedly not in the dream
That is quite high tech, oh wait, it is on high tech era, lol
I actually stuck on this part, which on the selection which warframe you choosing. If the lightning strike on 3, but only 1, does that mean that the Tenno could choose? Or no?
It's assumed that whatever one wakes up was your frame to begin with, I'm guessing. Either that or Lotus chose to transfer them to it, given she can control that to an extent.
Its ludonarrative, whichever frame wakes up just happened to be yours. The tenno never had to choose
I see
Ludonarrative means that what happens as part of the game isnt whats normally happening as part of the story
Right theres a second word
Shhh I didn’t start playing this game to learn weird English words
deoxyribose nucleic acid
Don’t make me pull out my Phantasma
Hydrogen Dioxide
Alright that’s it reloads Kuva Zarr with malicious intent
Pls, my English is broken but I'm still playing Warframe, lol
Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia
That's
That's not water
not me being definitly scared to what infestation could bring to the table.
They want to be perfect and Arlo somehow achieved that
Why are you scared
I think that they're very powerful but we haven't seen much of it.
They're pretty much on the back with phenomenal power that was only shown once with the Fass/Vome system, but other than that, we haven't seen much.
Don’t be afraid…
They also somehow made their own weaponry with the emissary's enemies who have very strong weapon
Don’t worry, if you wanna see what they’re capable of, just look at the Flood from Halo they really are pretty much identical
I think we are gonna see the Leader of the Infested soon.
Cuz we know theirs a Hive Mind
That's the thing, if it's a true hivemind there's no leader
All the component parts contribute to the greater intelligence
Eh
I think theirs a Leader
I think there is too, but if there is, it's not a hivemind.
I mean
Hives have Queens
oh god are the grineer just bees
I know the convo was about the infestation but I just had a realization
I think with the grineer it's the human version of queens.
I mean yeah the twin Queens don't lay grineer eggs, I meant in a metaphorical way
Human version of queens with the authority those had in the middle ages
Despite what it sounds like, hiveminds don't work like insect hives
The idea behind a hivemind is a shared consciousness, where every body contributes brainpower to the whole. More dendrites than separate bodies.
I know I just wanted to make a joke and kind of a point with grineer bees
WTFrame. Three extraction markers lol
2 orbs and the elevator is my guess
Nope, one orb, one elevator, and for some reason the third one led to an outdoor area
Reminded me of a Railjack exit area, wonder if it's a bug related to some upcoming thing? idk
Archwing around the Zariman 🤡 it's what the kids want
that last area always gets a maker for me too
it's really annoying, since it is always a dead end that is as far away as possible from everything else
One too many times have I ran to that and been annoyed at having to back track and find another extraction way point
||Deimos is shaped like a screaming skull.||
Oh yeah that area is a extrat
It's also a cool area.
It really wants you to get out of there
No
Ok the weirdest thing happend just now. You know that scene in the new war where you speak to the drifer as the operator? The dramatic reveal? It broke for me haha. The drifer never clipped in so i was looking at floating chopsticks the whole time haha
I was so confused because the operator was talking to no one
i saw that on a steam forum thread
Interesting
Oh god imagine if to enter duviri we have to go through a zariman mission every time
Duviri is actually just a really big granum void
You’re in a coma wake up it’s time for the eternalism test
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING HAHA
the man in the wall stole my damn drifter
There was no void jump
Time for school simulator
Warframe endgame is free education
Time to learn quantum mechanics
We get to go to tau
theoretical physics. though i guess at this point it's just physics
anyone's new war quest buggin? my drifter is missing from the cutscene with the operator as well as the man in the wall operator in the classroom scenes
likely veilbreaker causing the bug. you're the 3rd person i've heard it from
Yay im not alone
Btw i picked margulis man she is hot
I can see why ballas was so intent on getting her back
I didn't want natah because even after all that i am still hate towards sentients
And Lotus is such a contrarion and who knows what she's thinking. Margulis is a fitting reward for the tenno. Someone they lost.
they'd also lost Lotus
If I had a credit each time I heard that reason for picking Marge, I could buy out Anyo Corp.
But isnt Margulis just the Complete fake version of her? For me it doesnt feel right to push her into that.
I picked Lotus.
Letting her past with her complicated Sentient Family behind her and going a new way she wants to go for herself
You don't push anyone into anything, she chooses herself
And she has Margulis' memories
Margulis is a real person who, in that choice case, Lotus wants to be
A simulation of them approximated from years of dream-spying on the Tenno - effectively getting them to give all the good descriptors of Margulis they could; every interaction, every memory, every bit she could.
Not her actual memories. Only way she'd have those was if she somehow met Margulis, and Margulis and her became an amalgam - or Margulis was directly integrated via Transference by Kuva; Continuity.
Not that Margulis was an Archimedian who had been sentenced to death by the Golden Lords of a once-mighty empire.
Therefore Natah-turned-Lotus cannot have Margulis' memories; the ones she has are Tenno retellings, or Ballas' bias.
Definitely ballas's bias
Ballas wanted her to be the marge he desires
Ballas did an implantation of Margulis's memories in Natah when turning her into the Lotus. She absolutely has Margulis's memories.
Even if not all, she definitely has the actual memories.
yeah but she is still not margulis. and letting her become again the mimic of a dead person feels weird to me.
Lowkey miss og space mom
Impossible. Margulis was executed via Jade Light. Vaporized by the equivalent of a disruptor beam cannon at point blank.
Natah wasn't in the picture until a long time after.
Furthermore we're yet to see how Sentients and Aya react to eachother - that being one of the two remaining vectors Natah could get Margulis' memories outside of brainscanning Tenno and listening to Ballas simp.
The second being that Natah is haunted by a Void imprint of Margulis who could play a part in Duviri.
The teaser Orokin text we get from before The Second Dream explicitly mentions "Margulis implantation intact." It's not impossible.
The full text:
Void Link Severed
Reason: foreign carrier detected. Origin: unknown. Suspection: tracking signal.
Reinitiating dipolar connection on novel carrier. Bio in standby for check and sync.
Motion compensation complete.
Selenic lensing locked.
Somatic control established.
Margulis implantation intact.
EVM status nominal.
War platform awaiting sync.
Initializing synaptic overlay... Good night, sweet angel.
The Margulis implant is probably a Warframe/Tenno piece of hard/bio-ware, not sure how valid it is presently, but my guess is, the implant either is like a loyalty chip that forces us to buddy up to Natah/Lotus, or a sort of mental stabiliser to soft-regulate our emotional responses?
It can't be to do with Natah as the error message is for the Tenno Operator.
That entire message was clearly tied to something Orokin-programmed. We sure didn't write whatever procedures and protocols it was talking about. Additionally, it does have to do with the Tenno, but the fact that it mentions Margulis implantation means it does also have to do with Lotus.
All that ultimately matters, though, is that there is no wrong decision for The New War on who she chooses to primarily be. 🙂
The line about seeing the zariman with her own eyes already confirms she has the actual memories of Margulis from Ballas
And given the existance of Aya, which Ballas had access to...
Warframe/Tenno hardware were Orokin-programmed...
But yes; in ultimatum there is no wrong decision as it is her decision - if I didn't have the disc to balance out I would've picked Natah, as hiding from her truth after all is said and done wouldn't be that nice.
That said...
This was mentioned after Lotus had vampirically kissed Ballas - taking from him practically everything and, though this bit is more me hope-speculating than anything, perhaps even his Oro.
Oro was only mentioned in Conclave and hasn't been relevant ever again
Literally not mentioned by anybody other than Teshin
It's a conclave mechanic and that's it
There wasn't an indication she took Ballas's memories when she kissed him. Even if she had, I don't think it was ever directly confirmed he saw the direct aftermath like Margulis did.
Its about the tenno tho, since its the SD teaser
Not just about the Tenno. There isn't Margulis implantation in us, after all.
There is one in the frames
Transference is margulis's project. Every frame has a transference bolt
Thats the marge implant
I highly doubt that, honestly. Never even heard a theory like that before. The most logical thing is for it to reference Lotus.
Why? Its a systems diagnosis of the tenno-frame transference system
Why would it be referencing the lotus
If it checked the Tenno and the Warframes, it makes sense it would do a check on the Lotus as well, given her role in everything.
Except lotus is just the handler not an intrinsic part of the system
She is, in fact. She controls the primary method of Transference from the pods, after all.
Plus lotus isnt exactly a "bio"
Bio refers to us, the Tenno.
Exactly why "margulis implant" cannot refer to the lotus
It's a separate line... It absolutely can.
"Bio in standby for check and sync"
It says war platform, that doesn't refer to us either.
The war platform is the frame, because this is a system check on the tenno-frame system
And with Lotus being the one who controls Transference while we're in the pods, then yes, it makes sense it would do a check on her.
She's an integral part of it all.
She's as integral as the control tower operator to a fighter pilot
She can and has been removed from the system equation befroe
Shes not "integral"
She was removed after we re-awakened our powers to the levels they had been before Margulis effectively sealed them away. Before that, she was completely integral to the Transference process from each Tenno in their pod to their Warframes.
Again, as integral as a control tower operator
Just because she can turn things on or off doesnt mean shes needed
No. A control tower operator just tells a plane when they can do this or that. They don't MAKE the plane do what they do. Lotus had direct control over the Transference process itself from the pods.
Since this is going in circles, though, probably best to find a new topic.
Fine
While Lotus was gone wasn’t it Ordis or her personal cephalon that took over her duties?
Ordis, she doesnt have a personal cephalon
Just mission control stuff, since that was post War Within.
I thought she did
Holo lotus was just ordis
I think I was thinking of Cordylon
I can’t believe our roommate dressed up as our fake kinda mom
i just get this everytime i try and equip
Did you go to them?
oh i didnt know it automatically equips wtf
I told you three times in the other chat that it's already equipped lmao
Go guild it
i wonder is it possible they make styanax animation base on up coming liches for infested ?
I doubt it
I hate to say this but I don’t see how the infestation will have special weapons and a special enemy
I don’t think it will happen
Infestation +
It probably will happen eventually just that current focus is duviri
We've got Proboscis Cernos, at least.
So are they just going to put gattling guns on a charger then?
That’d be cool though
Have you seen the prelate ?
It might happen I just don’t know how they would work around an infestation lich
The infestation is very capable of having liches
The quest?
Nightwave
They would likely use zealoids for larvling
And then just like liches they would use a custom model
Missed the entire thing
Its a boss on deimos
Oh Zealoid
o.o i forgot about prelate i was thinking about jordas and army of dead cephelon
doing that boss to get a lich sounds like a good idea
Yes of course they could copy that model
I want to find out if the infestation is funny
Again the zealoid as a model would probably be the pre "lich" state
Then the actual thing would have a custom model
I remember hearing that they aren't doing another Lich thing again
I remember them saying they wouldnt do another umbra but i dont remember about no more liches
No clue, but it was something along the lines of the extra ranks from the weapons essentially giving the mod system the middle finger
I think it was a devstream
That makes sense, because Excalibur Umbra is very unique
Well hope they at least do infested liches to complete the main trio of factions
Time to watch every dev stream
It was just before Sisters of Parvos iirc
vor can lead corrupted liches hehe
Ok that eliminates a lot of hours
Should be around Devstream 154
If not it might of been a Prime Time idk
They might have a skip towards it, I’ll try and find it
bascially vor is a thrall now but corrupted version
The jist of it was like "Yeah this isn't really interesting and they're super overtuned, we're adding wave 2 of the Kuva weapons but not much else"
o.o 2nd wave of kuva weapon ?
We have the more human invaders from the NW
Let me get a picture
Prepare for disappointment…
Would be more fun if you could have both a Lich and a Sister at the same time for some extra hard invasion style missions
The Grinner Lich Larva model
I think was in The Wolf NW first?
Yeah the NW was Feb and then Liches came out in like Ocbtor
Yeah the Satrun Six fugitive was the same Model as the Kuva Larvaling.
If we show we want it they might rethink it
Yes, I can totally see how it can be worked around now
The weapons though that’s on DE
Infested Lich Mire
Perhaps I could try and make them respond to it on a prime time or dev stream
What are you talking about? @naive warren
Bubonico
Zymos 2
That might actually make the Zymos good.
Zymos is already pretty good, especially with xaku
Or well, used to be. Idk if they patched it
It has never been patched I just don't like it lul.
So, i wonder when our drifter is going to get more fashion frame options. As it stands theyre pretty barebones imo
Soon™️ because they mentioned having the Operator and Drifter stuff match
That would rock. I love how ive got my operator, but the drifter is just.... some dude
I'd love to get some of those old operator outfits working on the drifter
So is our camp going to be full of Grineer now?
I don’t mind the grineer staying over makes the camp less dead and depressing
And an ostron
in the personal quarters at the spot where you can kneel and look out the window there's this thing like a miasma
what is this?
A bug
The light from apostasy prologue returning to haunt us
i wondered
We know there’s gonna be at least one Ostron because of the Veilbreaker trailer but beyond that who knows
anyone use Operator just for the old Prime suits?
i'd use Driftenno but no Saita Prime or Commodore Prime for that one
I do like my commodore prime
i just want Driftenno to be able to use old suits
I want body options. Stringbean is ok and all but i want Arnold body giving suplexs to grineer and noogies to corpus
scenes as drifter hideout extensions when
yes!!!
I just want more voicelines depending on who you are using Operator/Drifter
Hyyyyyype
Might have been there for a while but I just found it. Space dad is coming back! Can't wait for that
You missed a little
Space uncle, actually. Ballas was our estranged father
But uh, you didn't watch the 2022 duvire trailer, did you? May wanna give that a watch
Nah teshin is our space step father
Or adoptive father actually
Space uncle
He gets to teach us cool stuff while not raising us
Ordis is the best space dad, change my mind
He's just our babysitter
And then Yontas our wife
I—what’s wrong with Yonta tho; - ;
maybe one day we'll get to learn more about the operator's actual parents
Like if you prefer men then you could choose Cavalero insteaddd
They're deceased. And grown adults while the operators were minors on the Zariman. The thought it just icky
Necro and pedo, a weird combination
Please don't.... 😅
Yeah, but technically our operator has survived much longer than the holdfasts, so whos the child now?
The child who never got to age?
Ohhh I forgot they were dead, lol mbb
Operators are just Peter Pan
Change My Mind
Tenno have special magic abilities, never age and have a fairy friend (if you have her)
And they wear tights in awkward colors and make sparkles wherever they go!
Ordis is space alfred
YES
Batman Alfred
The only one
oooooh
Batman's butler
so the operators are batman? Plausible
We do have that batman tennogen for ash
We have limitless cash and armoured suits with special abilities
I once had a batman Mesa prime so it makes total sense
Lol
Batman doesn't use guns? I disagree
Bramma's not a gun
Im sure theres at least one version of batman with guns
He does use a judicious ammount of explosives tho
I mean the one with Thomas used guns I think
So Batman is a combination of Vauban and Ash then?
Oh, and Baruuk, cause punchy boi
So. Many. Batmans.
There just might be a batman for every frame
Flying Batman? Zephyr
Weeb Batman? Excalibur
Batman after Mr Freeze? Frost
Batman with guns? Mesa
Joker Batman? Limbo or Loki
Feral manbat ? Valkyr
I feel like The Batman Who Laughs would be exclusively Limbo
Batman v superman suit would probably be rhino
I, as a Limbo player, come across a lot more Loki trolls than Limbo
That's bc Loki is fun to play
You can back out of the rift, can't back out of a switch teleport
One day ill figure out a paper analogy for loki's switch teleport then my loki is paper frame theory will be complete
Decoy is a paper cutout
Invisibility is just him turning into paper so thin its transparent
Disarm gives enemies paper cuts so they drop their weapons
He folds space like paper between the points where the people are located?
I like that one but still feels like a bit of a stretch
I mean. Imagine if we, as tenno, helped build an alliance with the corpus and grineer instead of killing them off so many times. The sentients would've been soooo easy to beat
So yes, the lotus may be considered as an enemy
But in my heart she's still space mom so no, she's not enemy
I see
I have to ask a question before answering that, how far are you into the quests?
On venus xD
Currently doing Fortuna one xD
Yep I know nothing
Oh btw, how do I do that spin and dash in air thingy lol, helps cover distances
Indeed
Follow the story. I personally loved it
Crouch and jump
And aim when you want to slow down your fall
Normal pc gamer's keyboard wear : wasd
Wf pc player : space ctrl shift
But half the fun is in discovering the game
I need to complete a stealth mission in fortuna and stealth is not really my strong suit
@high otter Can you help lol
There was a stealth bounty in Vox Solaris?
I'm not online in-game atm 😦 but I can guide you a bit on how to be stealthy
Do I stream?
Sadly, I can't stream in this server it says
First thing you want to consider is going through your mods and see if you have anything that gives you "enemy radar"
It's OK, I'm also on mobile so it probably wouldn't work
Second, use a bow/silent weapon
Third sneak up behind enemies and hit x to do a finisher on them
Recharged every mission
I always forget how much easier stealth is after war within
True...
Although I don't really use my... You know what for stealth purposes, unless it's for emergencies, because I ran out of energy or something
Well, I have the basic weapons only -
The gun, Kunai and the sword whatever
You can get the starter bow. Go to arsenal and buy it
Lb, LT, A
Why are we redacting information here, this is the spoiler channel. Thought you were making an innuendo
Well they are helping a new player
Yes but
Tbf the new player shouldn’t have come asking for help on like the 2nd quest of the game in the spoilers channel… that’s like the best possible way to have as many spoilers as possible
That's so good that it's now clear that a sentient isn't a joke in terms of machinery/technology.
Ordis not knowing what they're dealing with because eidolon aren't normal beings in comparison with other things.
I do wonder then if Lord of Tau are alien or sentients, Like if they're alien they understood the machine's complexity of an eidolon but if not. Well it's other type of eidolons.
Wait did we get new sentient lore?
archon hunts
but the Lords of Tau sound to be Sentient and not alien
Yep, that was also interesting the new things that was told/hinted.
Lotus saying that Amar trained her and that the ram is "controlling" Erra
I'm kinda terrified of Pazuul. He makes skewed Bible references and said he's not scared of MITW, rather bragging that MITW cowers before him.
Anyone in game that's not scared of MITW is terrifying
He also yelled some fairly disturbing stuff after we got the hostage out. So I'm not 100% sure he's all there in the head, either.
When did this happen? I didn’t get any voicelines from him in this weeks hunt except for the one after we freed the hostage
Have you also noticed the lines in kahl's mission
Straight up says "devour me"
That dude is scary
I'm pretty sure that's a reference to the Tenno, not Wally
None of them besides Lotus should even know Wally is a thing
I thought that too at first but he's using the Singular when talking about the demon. So far the only characters that called Tenno a demon (other than Helminth) is Ballas who called them "Void Devils" and used the plural.
Also the Sentients do not consider the Tenno mighty, none of them have ever called them anything close to a mighty demon.
And I beheld a great Ram, and the horns of him were crowned with soul, and with Tau. And upon his tongue, the Zariman flame, and the mighty demon of the Void, cowered before him. And he feared it not.
I feel like pazuul confirms my "tau is the end goal" theory
Neither has Wally either too. He could just be referencing our specific Tenno given we're the one that gets in the way
Here's Pazuul talking about the Tenno to Lotus:
And what of your purpose, Natah? Were you sired, only to be wet-nurse to these...putrid apes? Which of us truly needs to save the other?"
Putrid Apes is pretty far from Mighty Demon of the void
That's a reference in plural, yes
I wonder if MITW really was scared of Pazuul or if he just let him pass
Plural is not what I'm pointing out here. The reverence he had for the other thing is definitely not the same he gives the Tenno
I dont think wally is scared of an archon who gets to watch the other archons get their teeth constantly kicked in
Well pazuul is clearly more intelligent than the rest
Oh yeah, in the end it's just insane ramblings
I don't think Pazuul is who he says he is
I feel like he's the mouthpiece of something else
It seems that being in erra's body lets him be way closer to his "origjnal" form than the other who are in warframes
I wonder if Pazuul has a family
What if the mighty demon of the void isn’t Wally but something we haven’t even seen yet
"bite my head clean off mother"
What if there’s something more powerful than Wally out there
His relationship with the other Archons is also strange. Boreal wants to kill him. Amar got tricked by him, and Nira seems to have been the one to get him set up with Erra
How i see wally rn he's either the entity behind dominus thrax or he's the product of dominus messing with us
I think he's Dominus
Wally is wally
Honestly wally being just a bit of dominus' power would be a great twist
Because "you know what eldritch horror everyone fears, he's just the creation of an even greater eldritch horror"
True
That’s where the good guts are
Or something like that
I don't think they're related at all aside from both being related to the void in some way
Is thrax really that eldritch though
Pazuul definitely has some of the voice lines in the game of warframe
He’s just a whiny kid
DE said Dominus is someone we know. And at the end of New War, we know MITW escaped from Duviri. There's not really anyone else we know that can manipulate the Void. And please dont say "eternalism" again
A whiny kid that affects a whole plane of existence by whining
Yeah but I can do that too
Lol I can’t tell if this is a joke or if you just forgot to put a descriptive word in there
Yes! 🫡
Not from Duviri. We know the Zariman is connected to it, but Wally isn't there from his first appearance.
It's a joke
Honestly at this point
He left Duviri at the end of the New War. DE also confirmed this on tennocon, but you can tell when watching the endscene because everything goes greyscale
I wonder if Wally was really trapped in Duviri or if he was just visiting his vacation home and saw a shiny door
If natah became a sentient again and we went to save her, and erra got possessed by an archon and lotus wants him back, who's erra gonna set out to save after
And went through
Hunhow?
Hunwho
It's interesting because the Holdfast mentioned him escaping as if he was stuck in there
Hunwhat are you all talking about?
Hunwhy are we asking?
Hunwhy not?
Hmm
Interesting!
They used those words exactly?
Pretty sure the drifter escaping in new war and the Zariman appearing right after are deliberately connected
So Wally could piggyback on that
I'd say the greayscale effect is just general time manipulation given the same thing happen with the Unum
Oh
I hadn’t even thought of that
You have any other quotes, cause I only remember Yonta just saying something burst through the membrane, nothing about an escape.
And on quick review, the Unum effect isn't quite the same. A desaturation, but not full grayscale
.it's not. De said themselves on the Art panel that it's Duviri
Duviri is not fully greyscale either
There were two kinds of Dax in Duviri
This was the exact quote from the art team about MITW's appearance at the end of the New War
"We wanted to tie it closer to how the void represents duviri and things you see there."
He came from Duviri and got out through the hole Ballas made in the Albrecht Membrane
Close! It's actually because the MITW escaped that the Zariman is there.
Yonta says this:
"Before you ask, no we can't move the ship. Something I wasn't sure existed has burst through the Albrecht Membrane and right now the Zariman is plugging that hole. Pop her out and we'd see Void Storms from here to Mercury. Which would be fascinating if memorably horrible."
Itd be a good way to get rid of the infested though
They're not particularly weak to void or fissures
It'd get rid of a lot of sentients tho
Do you have the timestamp, cause it doesn't come when they were on Wally

Question about the Styanax anime. Was Ascension Day the full anime or is the anime not out yet?
It’s the full one
Oh ok, ty
Also the hole MITW made leads directly to Duviri because we can see it in the skybox 🙂
I also think it's kinda funny that the Drifter complains during AOZ that no matter where he goes, the same Grineer ghosts are always chasing him. That sucks lol
Why are all the drifter faces so ugly
Drifter faces aren’t bad, it’s how the male body fits into all of the cosmetics except base drifter and grineer outfits that’s bad.
You can get a pretty good face if you spend a little it testing it out and seeing what you like
It's been 3 hours
This is mine and I think it looks fine
For a second I thought he was wearing a red clown nose
It’s an old picture I kept just to remember the settings I put the face to when I change it up a bit inevitably so it’s not a great photo
Wait can we apply that eyepatch to kahl it looks just like what he would wear ngl
He already has one lol
Yeah but I mean that specific one
Less anime, more just animation
Yea true. I just wished it was longer, but the animation was amazing so I’m not complaining lol
I mean, tbh, I'd love to see them go back and animate the rest of the Leverian shorts. Imagine Gauss outrunning the explosions in that sort of style.
...I know, budget, but still.
Or Ivara going after the Myrmydion. You'd barely need music for the fight, just ambient sounds.
Lavos
I'd love to actually see what Javi wrote and how lavos slowly became less and less brutish
Yeah!
Hmm
There's not one leverian I wouldn't want to see animated. Ash's could look like assassin's creed embers or something (for hopefully obvious reasons)
As a Gauss main: I would love to see that
I wanna see the ash one animated just because he is my favorite : (
are any of the archon mods worth it?
im feeling like i should just save till i can get a archon shard
yes
If you're using a frame that wants strength and has a healing ability (harrow, gloom users, trinity, so on and so forth) archon intensify is a free 60% strength
Does Titania's passive count for that though?
The only other "intensify" mod that can out do that is umbral intensify, but requires you to triple umbral mod which isnt what many would go for for minmaxing properly
From what people have tested, no
That sucks
Cant copy and paste the list off the wiki without having redundant texts but a list is on there nontheless
just taunting us
also this prove he changed all his bio parts with Untraceable ones on purpose
which idk if that was the case
If all Solaris were as intense as Chipper Fortuna wouldn't need SU or Tenno assistance
Heck they'd probably be dictating terms to the Corpus on all of Venus
"Want to park your capital ship here? Parking fee. Or else."
but yeah I wanna know Chippers backstory now since he said i cant know it.
now i gotta know
He promised his mom he wouldn't do crime, so he stopped. Instead he sells stuff for criminals to use for crime.
Man's a genius.
i wonder what his real face looks like?
theres a thread?
also just running through his dialogue before he does this like Rebel thing he used to be a Janitor?
i cant wait till they have a thumper in the camp
also, i need a freed infested since khal can free who ever he meets it seems
idk it will get a bigger though
is some new about the cross play and cross save?
at least 2 Ranks bigger lmao
"Testing soon"
I mean, the ranks added one guy next to Kahl
Yee I was agreeing
Lol I meant that if they do end up in the big field they're going to make a big jump
ah yeah
Why would Narmer put a veil on an Infested??! Why would anyone do something that insane?! You NEVER screw around with the Technocyte because it can assimilate, and then replicate anything! If it eats a Veil, it's essentially Game Over! You just made the Infested's goal of devouring all life in the galaxy SO MUCH easier...!
I know living and dying in their own little world is Narmer's religion, but surely not even THEY'RE so stupid that they'd do such a thing!
how would you even veil an infested, its barely a sentient entity let alone something with actual desires to exploit
its just a giant bug made of dead people, you cant really mind control that
The Infested all have one desire, and you know full well what it is!
They can't replicate stuff tho
BECAUSE OF THE MEMES MAN! THE MEMES! imagine having a friendly ancient to pal around with!
yeah but they dont have individual identity
theyre all part of the hive
The only thing I could think of is if the Veil works on the same principle as the Neural Sentry. If it does, you might be able to veil an Infested and get away with it, but if you do Veil an Infested and it assimilates the Veil, god help us, we have a mind-control Ancient.
narmer corrupted and infested hivemind fighting over who controls the most fleshbags
I read somewhere that they could; making perfect copies of anything they've eaten, so like they could still lure you in with the image of your loved ones even after you've killed those assimilated loved ones.
are you sure that was from this game
Most of it is half-remembered stuff I read from TV Tropes.
They can assimilate a consciousness , but they've only ever taken a normal appearance once as an experiment.
I mean the Infested overall is Sentient and has a Goal. Idk if you could viel a single part of it.
yea
More than once
As means to ends.
Alad wasn't even an attempt at anything. But Jordas counts, even if he's half and half
I don't think even Alad would have created the mutalists if not in control, but ok
What? Alad eventually got infected as a by product of his experiments. The question was on the Infestation using people as lures.
He infected himself? Oh, must've missed that. NVM
My friend is having an amazing bug with the new war where Wally and the Drifter are invisible in cutscenes with the operator lmao
is there a way to let your tenno eat?
I think...i've only ever seen the Drifter eat.
In The New War.
Like our Operator was handed food but they...they never drank/ate. I've never seen our operator consume food...
Though it very much implied that the Drifter does.
I don't think our operator does anything you hoomans do. I don't think we even see them breathe
They definitely breathe
The operator started eating and drinking in the new war Dormizone scene

And what was that about the Operator
What was what about the operator?
Tenno Science?
Loving these Kahl missions
The stealth one last week and the one this week, perfection.
I want a big battle kahl mission soon though. 30 brothers and a thumper charging in against the veiled
Except the whole point is we’re supposed to be freeing the veiled not killing them
I mean, did you see what happened to the decons? I dont think we freed them from the veil so much as freed them from this mortal plane
Except the priests, the priests are unworthy of freeing
And the robots
Deacons aren't veiled, they're just constructs
Robots aren't sentient though
And proxies are proxies
Yeah deacons are.. some sorta robot?
Right so a big fight against robots and decons and zuul
Lol I forgot that we could unveil grinner and I ended up killing every veiled grineer I saw. When I heard that you could save them I felt so bad
And maybe a Tenno who just pats Kahl on the head saying "No no no, this is for the grown ups not tube men"
But Kahl do good job. Tenno no trust Kahl?
Kahl did good job, but Tenno must commit genocide now
If clem trusts kahl then i will ti
I wonder...how many war crimes have the tenno committed
0, geneva long gone
Considering the Tenno had no control over that I'd say they're exempt from the Orokin genocide
Let's see:
The Grineer and Corpus don't have civilians so murder of civilians is off the table.
The Tenno don't use slave labor as far as I can tell
The Tenno keep no prisoners of war...
Nor hostages
So that leaves:
Possible Torture/inhuman treatment considering what we mod our weapons for and abilities that we use...
Certainly plunder of their property
Wanton destruction of cities/towns/villages
Devastation not justified by military necessity
And destruction of culturally significant items
And finally genocide.
So at least 6 charges of war crimes, I have yet to read the Geneva Convention so I'm not gonna speculate on the contents. And now to go to lunch
We do take prisoners of war, sorta
