A fair opinion, but I personally feel the Ember signa fits better because A: the curtains on Valkyr’s Heirloom doesn’t really fit the aesthetic that he has imo, and B: the flames from Ember’s helps a lot with whole angel theme, especially with Uriel, seeing as his name literally translates to “flame of God”

The issue is when I'm looking at something and immediately being annoyed by it.
Like I was trying to go for a silvery Gauss Prime with a pop of orange metallic. But when I finished I was... just not feeling it.
So now, when I get home from work, I'm going to try to instead do dark colors for the base. Cause the idea was to do warm and cool colors together, since, you know, Gauss. But I don't like how it's coming together.

I think this is slick! the black and gold work really well together and fits the warframe aesthetic. I think the animation set choice fits the aura of the look and the syndana (rencowl?) loop appearing over the back feels cohesive with the general look. Plus I'm a sucker for that helm haha.

I don't want to offer any unsolicited advice... but can I ask what you find annoying about it?

If you think you're monotonous when it comes to colors, I recommend learning the color wheel. If you find a wheel that also shows you how to mix colors, it'll be easier to match colors in Warframe and in real life. A quick and very simple tip from me is to mix cool colors with cool ones, and warm colors with warm ones. Personally, I try to use universal colors like black and white as little as possible, as it can get very monotonous.

Hmm, I think I'd change the color of the shoulder pad if you want it on the character, because it clashes terribly artistically with the rest of the outfit. Even though you have bits of dirty gray on the hood, it's still not the right color, as the texture of the parts themselves is different. If you'd like it to be more or less consistent, you should consider white for the other smaller elements, but they won't really fit in with this outfit. I'd change the shoulder pad to black and swap the cooler gold for the warmer color you have at the ends of the pipes, which in this screenshot looks a bit like a color called "Canadian Copper." If you need help, or want your character to say something with just the color, I'd be happy to help. 🙂

So the colors are wrong, but don't worry, we'll fix it. But first, the mask, which is a key element, as you sent it. This white shoulder pad might work. I have two ideas, see if either one works for you. Let's stick with dark green as the main color of the story, and Golden Nectar. The shoulder pad is cream and looks a bit pointless all by itself. So you could try coloring other small elements cream. I'd also recommend painting the eye accessory cream to make it more meaningful. Or, let's stick with white shoulder pad and mask. I don't have the same components as you, so it's hard to visualize, but I'll try to help you find a suitable match.

Decided to treat myself for Christmas with some new stuff for my operator and drifter.
