In terms of recommendations, you could click through the chestplate options to see if there's anything that would work well, although I'd say with the gold and green it looks amazing without one.
You could also page through the sigils in case there's one that would make his torso look even cooler (remember you can change their opacity).
Also ephmeras exist, not sure what would look best on this, but the eidolon ephmera works well on almost everything of you have it, it leaves a cool smokey trail where you walk.
