Gyre will help a lot of weapons feel good, don't really gotta use anything specific, if you have specific tasks you wanna get done you can focus your gun selection on that (e.g. acolyte slaying)

high range and a decent amount of strength, if you want to spam balls at things you can run neutral or positive eff and neutral duration, if you subsume a buff and shoot things you might want to add primed (or regular) continuity

cathode current augment is mandatory, conductive sphere is good if you want to drop your balls and shoot through them

I’ve rarely found myself actively looking to spec into PT tho, it’s just there as a happy bonus

Synth Charge + fire rate + recoil reduction such that you dump whole mag except the final bullet, and then shoot the final bullet on an enemy's head to get the 100% ammo efficiency perk.

That way you have a permanent 200% multiplicative damage from synth charge as long as you're hitting headshot, while your magazine will keep saying 0 bullets left, but won't reload.
