I'm newer, working on my Caliban build, MR14.
Thinking about my status spread, get Tau from Caliban abilities (+status chance vuln)
Nukor primer gives: Microwave, Rad, Heat, Mag, Viral
Torid gives: Corrosive, Blast

Wondering if it makes sense to have my companion deal Cold, Gas, Electricity? Something else?
It would give the CC statuses as a way to protect, and stack more unique statuses for Galvanized Aptitude and Condition Overload. Also just to get new statuses ticking because others max out so fast.

Is this better than just stacking more heat+viral?

A good option is to put Nourish (Grendel 2) on his 2 and your companies will deal Tau damage and Viral damage, as well Viral for everything you have + energy gain from orbs and buffs

If you want to buff your weapons AND minions, Nourish is the best option that I can think

Big thing to mention, Syam multiplicatively stacks Base dmg mods and Con Overload
run both on it for heavy attacks (should apply to kullervo too)
(Ideally Primed Pressure Point, but normal works too)

If you are gonna run any elements with Electric for Influence, Viral is probably the best option

Weeping Wounds can be good with really consistent tennokai upkeep, but overall if you wanna Wrathful Advance as often as possible, might not be worth it

As Vauban is a spammy frame, your energy converts into shields, refilling it in an instant

2nd: Lazy Shield Gating - Fast Deflection, Vigilant Vigor, Catalysing Shield and Aegis
Fast Deflection and Vigilante Vigor gives you a very fast amount of recharge from your shields. Catalysing shields makes your shield gate longer for so that you have time to shield gate. Aegis is aegis

3rd: Augment - Omamori
A Semi Healing, Armor Giver and Shield Giver. It is there for comfy

you sometimes have over 5 VE drops at the same time, with more continuously dropping, so you need to move to them, need to upkeep roar, linked if possible, on certain maps also need to think about your looting routes cause when you take wrong routes you could block spawns which decreases possible VE gain

one is crit overflow where you have so much crit chance that the game just displays damage cap (its false damage cap)

if you want to damage cap with a zaw, subsume wrathful advance on mirage, go all in on strength, prime enemies with a lot of status effects, slot vigorous swap, use condition overload on the zaw, slot pressure point and after you prime the enemy, try to headshot with the zaw projectile

Molt Efficiency at its max effect gives you only 4 seconds of downtime of her death orbs

Said death orbs proc radiation, which triggers Arcane Universal fallout that makes enemies drop universal orbs

Universal orbs get more effective with Nourish over her 1, essentially solving the energy problem from 45% efficiency

Both her 3 and the death orb (clarification needed as I don't know if it's affected) cover the whole map so the upkeep of her 3 is easy as well
