Probably
"Nokkos dont just grow on trees you know!"
"I know, they grow on mycelium"
Actually on the topic of Nokko, I reread the prince hallucinations transcripts
Whilst it is implied Nightcap was dead and brought back to life (most likely soon after he died)
Nokko just exists and disappears after Nightcap's death
So Nokko could be just a frame that was fungi-fied by the fungi
Not necessarily resurrected
Tbh I haven't completed any of those grinds, I stopped soon as I got all the Nokko parts :d
it implies it and then nightcap states it’s incorrect, so it’s kinda confusing
Honestly, nightcap could just be saying that to not have to deal with the fact that he died and that might weigh on his mind
who knows how dead frames have to get to actually die
helminth can just revive them
that could be true yeah
That is true
Considering Dagath survived having a giant hole in her head
“Can I have some ibuprofen? I have a headache.”
My personal theory is that the Nokko Nightcap saw wasn't a full frame, but rather a spectre, and he just lacked the knowledge to differentiate them (he did think Nokko was just a kid in beginning)
What you're telling me is that Loki who got decapitated by Stalker could've locked in and beat Stalker up
Yes
He just couldn’t see and hear anymore and thus couldn’t throw hands
Loki upscaling
He was simply being humble and letting Stalker think he won
What if Nokko is just one collective, universe wide psychedelic trip
So much a trip that even Tau and Wally are affected by it
I'm more curious to what ballas was on when making Nokko
That is if he even made Nokko/Nokko Prime
I’m more curious about if Nitokh inspired Garuda-
Nokko got his lore
Give me GARUDA
If drifter and operator can only ´´exist´´ at the same time if they are in zariman or others places. what happens when they are on the same place and suddenly change? how it would look like to people nearby?
We’ve actually seen what it looks like in the end of the New War and during Angels iirc?
Also I’m not sure they can wholly co-exist on the Zariman, or anywhere for that long at all
So long as that place is still in the universe to any degree
I think the edge of the void works better cause its
The edge of the void
But the Zariman situation seemed to be they still didnt have a lot of time, but maybe that was due to the Zariman not yet plugging the voidhole during the New War
yea, very end of new war has them swap back and forth while talking to lotus
they glow a bit but it never happens on-screen
This doesn't apply to 1999 though right?
different time
somewhat the same space, definitely different time
but yea, drifter can be active in 1999 "while" operator is active in origin
It helps that 1999 is in a vastly different spot in the universe than the origin system end of
Everything
oh yeah, i forgot to add the edge. i almost sure that the edge of the zarima works too when, didnt we saw them together on zarima for the first time?
Very different points in space
Yeah but their time was limited hence my unease on that specifically, but that was at a time when it wasn’t plugging the hole iirc
The zariman dipped and then came back again between new war and angels lol
mm true
system's moving
Zariman is plugging a voidhole
zariman is plugging the hole in the albrecht membrane, keeping the void and the origin system separate
Also Duviri is there too
Duviri sorta acts as a wall but its still the void so also no good
Also Drifter’s Zariman is plugging that end of the hole
Same ship ofc, it’s like Operator and Drifter but more iirc
about this. sorry for changing the topic. they can change who is activate? also. how did operator got ´´separated´´ and went to 1999?
Yeah they can swap, the other will be in the void watching
Unless ofc Drifter goes to a different point in spacetime, which would be 1999 (or xx99)
bu thats my doubt, drifter can just decide if he wants to go to 1999 or xx99 when he is in the ´´void pocket´´? that is what i dont understand much.
Operator never goes to 1999 so I’m assuming you mean Drifter
Drifter gets to 1999 by first answering the call and establishing the connection, they then utilize transference on the vessels
The vessels have two important parts
They’re infested and they have the protoframe DNA
The Infestation also just has a weird relationship with time
By utilizing the established connection, the DNA connection, the Infestation’s relationship with time and transference they can get to 1999 (we see this through the infestation making an Excal in 1999 for Drifter to come through)
They can swap with Operator and then go to those places
Then Operator can go do whatever in the Origin System unhindered
oh yeah, mb, i didnt sleep much thse days so i dont type correctly.
Technically Operator can go to 1999 or xx99 through the same methods (though xx99 is just a portal via helminth ig and is way less complicated) but Drifter goes instead cause their skills are needed in 1999 and ig adults only in xx99 cause idk hot warframe people
who or what is the vessels he uses the transference, the protos or something else?
The vessels are are three things
Gray Strain, the deimos specific strain that makes stuff big
Helminth Strain, what Warframes are made of
And Protoframe DNA
In Whispers we use transference on the Vessel that has the same DNA and thus a connection to Arthur, we then take a backseat in his mind and confirm Albrecht is in 1999
Iirc there’s also a bit about the protoframe’s humanity involved but idr exactly on that
But Warframes are half infested half people and the Vessels are just big Warframes
and how do we bring his body there? or transference is kinda a ´´teleport´´ he goes in a ´´ghost´´ form inside arthur mind and then we just leave his mind and our body appears there?
I can also see the connection being further established due to the infestation’s relationship with time, that being that it’s mind can exist at any point in time that it physically exists
Lizzie for example is aware of us but was born in 1999 via Flare’s infested blood
From what I recall we can basically take on whatever state and shape of matter that we want due to our abilities
Please drifter, transform yourself into goth marie!! i need this!
Pfft lol
Imagine how ridiculous Duviri would have been if it was outside the void
Grineer and Corpus scrapping with the Dax every 2 seconds
lizzie is aware of us bcs she is part of the infestation and the infestation is like, universal through time and space?
That is if it can even be outside of it for that long
Yeah the hivemind is just present throughout time so long as a piece of it exists in that moment of space and time
duviri exists like a real place but only in the void right? if somebody could enter the void without problems, could them go to duviri?
Ahem.
Mom
Teshin
Kullervo
Us
the spaceship-kun is not real... it cant hurt you..
Yeah
The most direct route would probably be through the Zariman
Or just get thrown into the void that seems to work too lol
Otherwise you’d have to blunder about jnto the void and hope you end up there
in some chat i remember, with 1999 iirc, tenshin was kinda of stuck in duviri?
I think it’s just sorta luck atp
He might be
He’s def safer there now
safe from what?
Albrecht was able to go to and come back from duviri, so there is definitely a method to do so
I think it’s more so as the plot demands since Mom’s hand and Space Uncle fell in like
Almost at the same time
I deadass think him getting into duviri was him trying to off himself
Duviri is in many ways safer than the rest of the Origin System
albrecht is albrecht, pretty sure only he knows how to do so or only few few few few people.
Or uh. Was
Wally trying to write his fanfic made things trickier
yeah, pretty much. unless u are a solo drifter. but how did he ended up stuck there?
As long as Thrax doesn't throw a temper tantrum....
If you ignore the tyrannical regime of either possessed poisonous woman or literal Child King
and put on a tantrum for decades by torturing him, thats cool tho.
Erra threw him in basically
And Teshin just fell into Duviri
He would have died if not for Mathila
We stopped the fanfic!
Child is still a king
Not used to being defied
But Albrecht, ever the scientist, usually whatever methods he uses to do something, is replicable by others
Child does child things!??!?!?!?!?! Shocker
Fair!
But we can still go read it sometimes
true, they only need to discover how and what he used
Thrax is a forever child, he literally can not grow
Or
Not much anyway
People like that tend to react badly to being defied
Yeah, it’s p bad but like in an entertaining way
He is written to he an emotionally immature child
but mentally he is able no? or like, his mind is locked since he is from the book the drifter read?
Nup
Oh I meant mentally
The most he’s grown is willing to work with us cause his kingdom was in danger
Which tbf we used to be friends
But he’s also just rude about it the whole time iirc
He says he was like a dad to Drifter and its like
Uh
No???
i mean, duviri is a real place but is limited by the kids books:?
None of characters can truly develop
except maybe Mathila, but that wasn't a good development
Her husband died and she uh. Yeah.
It is, it is supposed to stay like that.
Isleweaver was false and not normal
Stable boys.
Yeah
Duviri isn't supposed to be changed
Isleweaver was a bad fanfic
What kinda of dad torture their sons for decades if not more, till the point they created apathy?
And sometimes Brimon
According to Brimon
LMAO EXACTLY
Oh my
Scandalous 👀
Which makes me wonder if scholar's landing and hermit's landing was initially in the book as well
not even if drifter entered the void and used his imagination? or is duviri locked forever and never can change it?
Kullervo’s hold def wasn’t
Well
Drifter didnt write the story
Nor is that how CE works
Closest you get to Duviri being changed is Wally’s bad fanfic
Ehh, no, not really
Drifter probably could change Duviri
And incite mass panic from its unchanging denizens
Literally think of it as a defined finished story and then Wally comes in to make it his own fanfic with his OC and everything
Technically whomever sits on the throne can change things
I was, for some stupid reason, gonna wonder how Drifter knew of Euleria's voice but then I kinda remembered oh yeah she was a teacher
Duviri was a LOT bigger but much of it is gone due to Wally’s advances
he didnt wrote the story but is him who turned duviri into a real place in the void atleast.
Not intentionally though
You can not control conceptual embodiment
Male defaultism is fascinating...
I noticed that Otak even does it to the necramechs ):
I try to use they/them for drifter
Same
Same!
Ive always seen machines as female
oh right. it has to be an genuine strong emotion right?
Idk why, machines are just she her to me
Ah
You’re a car guy
Eh depends on the design
Emotions and concepts within your mind
Can’t really directly control those
thx for remembering me.
Like even without the voice liberty prime is violently masculine
Not for me :) I also struggle to perceive gender in general
Eh
I default to male unless given other pronouns to use
Or physical characteristics lead me to assume otherwise
i didnt understood this comment, not being rude ofc.
Can’t always base it on physical characteristics tho
But I’m sure you’re respectful if wrong
I mean necramechs too
Bonewidow is feminine
Pretty sure Father refers to the mech as 'she'
Voidrig has masc vibes
I think it's the chunkier frame and stuff
Get your eyes checked
Hunhow’s a machine
Erra’s a machine
Adis’ a machine
What about them
Controller, puter, tablet, myself occasionally for some reason
Sometimes
Other times I'm * visible confusion *
im meaning irl machines
And then get laughed at

Wth necramechs exist in australia?
Just mean well and correct yourself when needed and you’ll be fine
not me thinking dagath was an men bcs my mind didnt notice her assets when i got it for the first time. took me some months to really notice with someone saying.
How else does one deal with the wildlife
Fun fact
She was in a toxic polycule
Fair, guns failed
Mhm have you seen some of the shit we fight?
Omg DE has never done a polycule correctly…
Toxic borderline abusive
Oh, I do
Usually
Ill be honest, as a poly person
Its horrifically common
rebb
who was toxic?
):
The two orokin
Dagath’s partners
They were Orokin so no big surprise
For.. very obvious reasons
They’re dead now!
imma kill those he..?
Its realistic because shit is often just toxic!
I'd say it crossed the border, but that's me remembering Dax cannot disobey the Kuva
He and she iirc
Remember! Dax can't disobey an order from an orokin :)
Dagath deserved better
Well, a kuva holder
why orokin...why did she had to choose? or it was arranged?
Maube she can get her face back with the prime
She def did not get to choose lol
The Orokin could just have anyone they wanted.
Iirc its was arranged.
Not like it mattered
They wanted a dax.
kill orokin!!!
YEAH!!!
I do like that the polycule part wasn’t the taboo at least
Considering how much of a pest the orokin are in that context, its not shocking
The orokin are lucky that I got glassed
The orokin are lucky im an orokin in Australia
The tenno were short-sighted, the orokin barely suffered
is it rare to have an happy life on warframe universe or what?
Yes
Yeah
Grimdark moment
I wouldnt say its rare, its just not going to be at the forefront of combat areas
Duviri citizens are fine ish
Unironically grimdark-adjacent
They’re just bored
like I think the colonists that we avoid live their best lives
Pretend to be
Until the fanfic
"The first day of the rest of my life. Again. Wohoo."
Like 90% of duvirians are in various states of coping
its a nobledark setting damnit!
Wobbledork?
poopity scoop
...wait wobbledork could be a codename for a grendel proto
@grok is this true?
How much can we actually trust roathe
How much knowledge can he have of wally?
given he's saying what Im saying
very
tbh about as much as us, maybe a bit more
Depends, about the orokin, probably mostly accurate but biased
About void shenanigans
As much as anyone else
do the things lotus/natah says on the ropalolyst mission - are they all true, or was it her being controlled again?
there's pieces that are more trustworthy than others, some that will be proven or disproven by other information later
idk. everytime i try and find lotus lore people have such different perspectives. i think it also comes from the games lore not being entirely straightforward
Have you done all the quests up to and including Old Peace?
yes! even when trying to find lore about the old peace - searching through reddit, youtube and such - some say margullis scrambled the codes to protect us and some say she knew ballas did it and so on
with the ropalolyst speech, its mostly the ending bits that are a bit muddy, but the rest is alright
Honestly, the reason there's such a wide range of perspectives on Lotus is cause of the whole Sacrifice to New War portion of her story
she's changed SO MUCH
is it true to say she willingly chose to be the lotus?
now? yes
was it not then?
Some people basically don't trust her anymore since she helped (unwillingly) Ballas and Erra almost take over the system
not me talking like in kim chat sorry
she didn't originally choose to be the lotus
It's hard to say 100% back in Old War, we know she was meant to manipulate the operators by looking like Margulis, but did eventually come to love the Tenno as her own
so when she came to love the tenno - she chose not to be margulis and became the lotus instead, right? leaving behind the deception
natah burrows into lua, ballas reprograms her to be more like margulis, she becomes the lotus unwillingly at first, but fully accepts this identity later
at the end of TNW, she chooses which "voice" to lead, whether that's Natah, Lotus, or Margulis
That's a bit more complicated, since we never get something that introspective with her. But that's a valid interpretation, she did not use Margulis' identity beyond being based off her appearance at least after she choose the Tenno
essentially ballas overdoes the programming and gets betrayed by the second coming of margulis for basically the same reason lmao
and then it happens again
ohh i see i see
so - in the ropalolyst - she was reprogrammed/influenced again, right? giving that shes willingly the lotus but she took some steps back into the sentient tenno hating thing again
i say ropalolyst bc i played the quests so long ago i do not remember the specific quest where ballas took her from us the first time but ive been running that assasination for mods lately 😔 sorry
It's the Apostasy Prologue
And it's ok to ask questions if you don't remember or are not sure of something
I've always wondered about that, based on the lines in the ropalolyst I interpreted it as natah not killing the tenno because of wanting children of her own to be a lie fabricated by ballas
But there wouldn't be any reason for Natah to change the plan that was already there between Hunhow and Ballas if she didn't care for the Tenno
Considering how much the idea of margulis paying attention to anyone besides him broke him, i sorta dont see him actively trying to make natah do the same
That makes sense
it was ballas's plan to use the tenno to win the war against the sentients and slaughter the orokin, then natah was supposed to kill the tenno
Then my question is this, when the lotus refused to kill us why did ballas just go AWOL for who knows how long until the apostasy prologue
unknown. stasis, maybe
More mysteries
Sorry where was this mentioned?
well theres the whole matter of needing to hide during the night of naga drums
er Natah, The Second Dream, Apostasy Prologue The New War
Nvm I remember now, idk why when it was worded like that it made me confused
Ok so that means... Wait
So that flashback scene with erra in the reservoir in the prelude to war happens BEFORE the lotus was ordered to kill us?
So when ballas leaked tenno secrets to hunhow, did hunhow not fill in erra on the plan at all? Erra seemed pretty convinced the lotus turned her back on the sentients when going by this timeline her betrayal hadn't truly happened yet
flashback yes
erra is usually an idiot, but also it makes sense that you dont blab about your double agent. infosec and all
Damn imagine being so stupid your own father doesn't trust you with sensitive war info
I’m lost, what should I say, I already defeated him 21 times in descendia and I don’t wanna do that again. What should I say here?
refuse
So 3rd option?
He was dumb enough to completely trust Ballas with the whole Veil and Narmer thing, so in retrospect Hunhow wasn't wrong to do that
Ok he said that he will wish me luck, I just hope I don’t get the anathema thing again
I managed to get the cutscene where human Loid finally go upstairs to meet the entratis. Then get new dialogues with the entratis. But here's my question. The entratis never met the drifter right? They called the operator "ayatan" but what about drifter? What about those trio talking animals with Loid? It seems they still not completely know all of them
Ik it’s interesting
Also I’m text Lyon and he’s taking a while to respond.
Shows “Lyon is typing” for the last few minutes
Exit the orbiter/backroom. Do a mission. Load back into the Orbiter. Conversation bug may clear and you'll be able to restart it and complete it properly.
OR the conversation finished and the 'is typing' part is a bug.
A. Drifter is ayatan too
B. Drifter canonically doesn't speak to the entratis after. That's Operator being filed in
Conversation didn’t finish btw, he’s trying to say something but it’s taking a while for him to respond
Just like operator doesn't speak with any Protoframe. I wish they would interact though, it would be interesting.
I know Protoframes aware of the operator, KIM messages shown that, but that's on drifter's side, there was no entratis mention anything similar to that on the operator's side.
Not surprised the operator doesnt' speak with protos, most of them would jumpstart the kiddo into puberty, and it is smart of my drifter to keep eleanor away from his kiddo self 😐
Besides, it would be weird...having love interest interract in any way with drifter's younger self. Awkward much
Nah, I get the impression that most would just treat the Operator as a younger sibling
Which of course the Op would hate
basically how drifter treats them in the kim chats
eleanor has the "a child is still a child regardless of how much trauma they've been through" line
That's the only sane way to go about it, the sibling pov 😅 I mean, imagine operator thoughts when he talks with eleanor, knowing that his older self shares that backroom, it would be weird, like meeting your 'different self' girlfriend but not having that sort of connection
Which is true, trauma doesn't make adults it makes traumatized children
Relatedly, Operator really needs their own "Syndicate" with peers to talk to, rather than just their mom and a computer
misremembered the exact line but the idea was still there
Dunno, operator seems pretty content going matrix / animus by swimmig in bath water
instead, they just remembered that they had a friend and then remembered that friend died in front of them
Eleanor my beloved
helminth with glasses playing therapist
enrichment activity
"how can i get over this?"
"perhaps a piece of argon will help me tell you"
Just pukes up a weirdly textured deck of Rell’s cards
“And when Margulis said that, which one of these would you say you felt the most?”
how would jade prime work
with caliban the plothole was fixed with the old peace, with revenant i lowkey forgor, lavos he ascended to prime
how does jade prime work
shrimple, the orokin simply made someone else a jade prime
Nonexistant
boooooring
Stalker is like umbra but more
ok but like technically umbra is a prime
how would jade prime and stalker prime work
Technically and practically he isn't
by nature of the stat block, but he aint even got the prime passive
they specifically took his prime passive away from him
like he genuinely had it for a moment and DE removed it
to emphasise, homie aint a prime
damn
anyways, nothing would stop the orokin from taking Jade's design and making a prime version from that
Excal prime is excal prime
i lowkey forgot the passive
does it have to do ith the orokin tileset
yea
Yes
what was it again
Death orb give energ
prime passive is when primes walk by the orbs and they get free energy
Unga bunga me type faster
Blud already evolved twice
yall think we can play the warframe baby
i'd put on like nourish and torid and make it bullet jump
I've said previously, baby gameplay would be sprodling reskin but he commands stalker
is the baby like a full on arframe or is it a warframe-human/orokin hybrid since both it's parents were formerly human/orokin
aight ok put that aside is the baby a full on warframe or not
Yes
Why wouldn't it be?
does it grow up
or does it stay baby
Its based on the human foetus inside jade at the time she got helminth'd
…icl that just seems silly
so the baby got space aids
What.
Ain't the orokin like cybernetically enhanced humans? That just changed their skin colour to blue?
No??
Not even cybernetically, genetically
It was body amd gene modification
eh?
It's more a class than any modifications, although they did have common body modifications
Ah I see ok that makes more sense now
Fairly sure the long arm is partially cybernetic
Eh? Ive never heard it to be such
was there even a function for the long arm or was it just for status
Da Hell's the long arm?
Status, pretty privilege
Look at the Orokin characters, they have a longer arm
Self explanatory.
Long arm
Oh
I've always assumed that's where they put all the control tech and stuff
Orokin liked being asymetrical
Cause more space
A lot of orokin had them, a small amount had normal ones
That being Albrecht and Roathe
was ocd genetically removed or smth
Roathe probably because it'd make operating weapons a tad harder
OCD is a mental disorder that doesn't occur in everyone?
Weird cultural thing, that's why the Grineer Queens were abandoned because they were twins
Gene locking mechanisms in their technology as per Lancer imprimt iirc
Deviations were ostracized, the grineer queens were shunned for being twins, and Albrecht is well.... Albrecht
Eh. Father has one and he was a railjack pilot
thas crazy
Actually now I think about it Albrecht is the only one we see that doesn't have the long arms or at least he doesn't now
I think it was not physical disabilities that was necessarily discrimated against, but mental ones
He never had one, in any portrayal of him
You could argue Roathe doesn't have a a long arm cause his current body might be a field swap after being critically injured
I miss dadbod Albrecht
Yeah, considering you can play Blender with your body
Let him come back
Heck the tenno can do it somewhat if we consider the blueskin pallete canon
Pray, if he shows up in Tau and doesn't need to blend in with baseline humans anymore
My shayla 💔
Look, a normal arm on a blue Albrecht!
“Hey you know this custom-made guy who has all the trappings of a Prime and is the only way to get a “Prime” Excalibur if you weren’t around for the Founder stuff? Yeah nope we changed our minds, he’s totally not a Prime, we’re even gonna take the least noticeable Prime feature to prove it”
Ok I see that now but it is strange that he's one of the only orokin that doesn't have long arms
Ik its a little hard to see, but he has a little bit of a stomach! Oh I wish I could see it.
Umbra has a custom portrait outline, that counts dor something
He deadass decided not to
He didn't wanna
He’s a strange Orokin
More anecdotal evidence of albrecht having the tism
He is the strange orokin
He might honestly just be another autisitc character 😭
High functioning
The strange Orokin from the strange Orokin family
Compared to rell who would be low functioning
The bonekeepers!
They have crypts and ossuaries!
They have their own money
A weird fascination with bones
Entrati Orokin aesthetic > Regular Orokin Aesthetic
Also it's kinda strange that almost everyone in Warframe hates Albrecht mainly the protoframes but still he's not much hated then ballas
They also seemed to bury their dead assistants (or how daughter calls them, Servants)
Eh.
Ive seen people say he's just as bad as an executor
Usually those people lack media literacy
Ballas did more harm then what Albrecht did
Sorry I get. Violent over mischaracterisation
Reminds me of Egyptian Pharaoh's who were buried with servants in their tombs
That is likely the inspiration tbh
Either that or Albrecht just stole a shit tonne of dead bodies
Honestly speaking, as an Archimedean, the entrati family seems pretty good to work for all things considered
One is funnier than the other
Only worry, might end up like Loid
He is the reason the sentents are the enemies once more when he sabotaged the peace treaty in the old peace
The Entrati seem more like a sub faction of the orokin what with their eccentricities
Pros
Good work safety
Good relationship between employer and employee
Feel like a part of the family
Cons
Yearning, lots of yearning
And maybe slight ostracization from the rest of orokin society?
Pros
getting to be loved
Cons
That love is brutally ripped away
Considering the old head "went insane" and presumably killed himself, yeah
There was some mild ostracisation
And the new head is obsessed with finding him
I still dont understand why she was sp fixated on finding him in the void
Her hyperfixation
I mean
The entire entrati family is a basket case
I do lowkey get the vibe she has BPD and BPD in women can be a misdiagnosis, with it being autism, which can be genetic
The men in the entrati family and being wet wipes compared to their lover™
Shit isn't even genetic
Mother is just scary
And Loid is scarier
Father is funny to me, cause he straight up thinks
"I can fix her"
And oh boy, he could not
Both are scary
Such is the case
He needed a hand
He gets to yap about the old war, let me make hand jokes
Albrecht has a higher kill count than loid
I mean
For now /j
Theoritically ended timelines don't count
We dont actually know that. Loid mentions that he has "seen off" parvos' men, which is pretty obvious what that means
Not to mention that Albrecht didn't set the nuke up, he just used it
I don't think it's crazy to say Loid has killed more people directly, like with weapons and his hands, than Albrecht
And the infested! And the murmur!
Loid goes full Alfred whenever the taxmen come knocking
A butler is like an assassin, or whatever Roathe says
Also is Drusus just... Somewhere in the sanctum?
Old colleagues
Plottwist
Albrecht committed tax fraud
Honestly he probably did
Its a moral obligation
As per the creed of deadbeat fathers
He ran a clothing store
yes vergil, you too, Nero demands child support
"Timeless style" the way im gonna beat Albrecht to death
Imagine the property tax on a lab that keeps growing infinitely
Albrecht has more *confirmed kills than loid
Technically it'd be 0, since it doesn't take up real space
Did those people really die though-
I lack the imagination to dodge taxes
Now im reminded of that web novel where the protagonist builds a lab and workshop in his parent's basement that's basically infinitely expanding
Amir certainly did
I lack the income to dodge taxes
Same
Imagine nobility having to pay property tax
How can you simultaneously have no income and afford furry stuff
I'm sure the Orokin would have done so as a form of control against each other
That's mutually exclusive
Schrodinger's income
Where do you think the money is going to
Poor financial choices
What the hek do you do to get enough money to only have to not eat occasionally
I eat like once per day if I'm motivated
Same! Only once a day and its frozen meals
The Australian government likes it when you study and shit so I get money for that. Welfare but oh you study full time and you don't live w your parents
Ok that's unfair
I need to get a solid diagnosis before I can get money as an unemployed loser until then I'm surviving off of what little money my mother gets
Anyways lore
Orokin sucked
Im sure Albrecht certainly did/j
One of the 1000 essential Archimedean assistant skills, the ancient U-Tsangan (Tibetan) martial arts
The ancient technique of the Tannerite filled dog plushie
So just found out that the seven aren’t the pinnacle of orokin society, they serve the emperors, do we know who these emperors are?
Guessing roathe mentions that later?
Is there a reason why Drifter and others don't just stop the nuke thing from the start as soon as they reset the 1999 ? Like why are they just resetting everytime it is dec 31 ?
the emperors were all just Ballas in a trenchcoat. trust.
For the lore
Every repeat the hex don’t remember only drifter so they have to rebuild the relationships constantly iirc
By transferring into them like they did with Arthur at the start?
Oh no, that was Albrecht iirc
WAIT
Wrong one, that shit happens to Arthur twice
You mean the one in whispers, right?
It’s been a while so I’ve probably forgotten a few things but at the start of 1999 when Drifter has a small battle with Arthur, drifter transfers into him and shows him memories of everything. The whispers transference was purely Arthur he wasn’t technically under the op / drifter control they were just watching
that event is how drifter learnt to traumadump properly
turns out just beaming it into their head isn't received well
Back on topic, it seems to be related to the infestation
Someone remind me, is flare the original temple?
they hid on an asteroid for thousands of years right?
Yuppers
God I’m so excited to have a self aware orokin, just had roathe mention that ballas isn’t even the worst of the seven and that nitohk was considerably worse
I could just look it up because I’m late for the old peace but I’d rather experience the lore in game, he’s practically a treasure trove of lore for the orokin era
yeah i really enjoyed that
so what is a Fomorian? Like...why does this weird looking ship have such deadly potental?
Big canon to destroy relays
Everyone thought it was a bluff, turns out it wasn't.
Yes I muted Ordis.
has corpus destroyed a relay?
The corpus one is from the time these things started being "set to fail" by decaying a little on it's own, but no one managed to make every single tenno not get at least one/three runs for the rewards in the fomorian/razorback to see if it actually fails automatically
DE realised we let some fail
Random thought, I wish DE had made a Nidus Protoframe that could’ve given me more techrot/helminth/general infestation lore. Like Eleanor and Flare but…. More so, and more directly.
Like, it's impossible to know for sure cause it need to be everyone not touching the big "free reward" thing. But if they change it we'll know about it on the first one, I suppose
DE will definitely announce it if they bring the actual event back
Cuz without the actual event they ain’t blowing up
...But would be funny to to warn the first one, tho
I just want each relay to be unique after rebuilding aren’t there two that use the same map?
Nidus seems a little silly to me after the revelation that all warframes are infested
'Look this one is just like, more infested, I guess'
I think the idea is that he was either something entirely unstable or a “prototype” warframe
“Hm yes we need to figure out how to make the infestation look like a guy”
Did he come before or after caliban
We're they trying for a set of themed species frames
He was before
Way before
(I mean lore not actual release time)
Drifter: "Nidus. Made of pure, unadulterated Infestation."
ArthurRank6Convo7
More "raw material" than the "cultured ones"
Yeah
Can someone remind me, where are we on “Excalibur was the first” meaning Excalibur was the first completely controlled warframe? because we know about Kullervo being part of the first generation of frames that wasn’t scrapped
An insane Nidus protoframe with tvscreens and cables too lost in the Techrot hive mind to even communicate properly would be awesome is all I’m saying lol
I was about to ask about kullervo
First frame ever made
I mean excalibur is the poster child and prime is a founder only frame. it makes sense from an out of universe perspective
Surely Albrecht isn't thaaaat much of a jerk
Never underestimate an Orokins capacity for jerkery
Where do we learn kullervo was first gen?
Guessing like kullervo didn’t go insane on the battlefield? So wasn’t scrapped?
One of the sins prompt talks about how he was there before the Tenno
love will defeat the indifference Turns guy into nidus tech rotation proto frames
He witnesses them coming out of the zariman / being taken back from the zariman
Kullervo didn’t even get a chance to get scrapped he ran away before he could be taken in
Even when he’s trying to be good he does it with Orokin level awfulness. But Marie likes him so he can’t be all bad right?…. Right!?
Was that mentioned in one of the sins in duviri? It’s been too long since I dove into kullervo lore
One of the 7 crimes is flight from custody
I Meaaaan. Crippled girl gets floating protoframe. Tech nerd/coward gets a frame that let's him go fast. Heroboy Arthur gets Arthurian legend frame (ok maybe that one was insulting)
Any theories / reason why Nitohk Karish and Ballas were the only statues on the tower by Perita?
The door on the other side had the rest, but you're never prompted to go there unless on your own curiosity
You can see all of them
Fuuuuuuuuu
I thought I explored it properly
Here’s them all
Is Nitohk 1 or 4?
Nitohk is the one that kinda looks like Cleopatra
Surprised Karish doesn’t include his 7 exo sacs lol
The girl with the big staff
Avantus is 1st one
Did she not get the extendo arm? Or is angle just iffy
@pale cedar you got a source? I wanna read up on it
I haven’t but we know the specific names because leaks
Angle, is easier to recognise the arm by the claw-like fingers, but Nitohk is hidden by Karish's belly
We don’t know all the names though
It’s Tormis and Scarne we don’t know 100% yet iirc
The order is texture/prop files that someone posted before
https://www.orokinarchives.com/operation-eyes-of-blight/
heres transcripts of the original Operation’s contents
Tormis the Atlas(mith) muscular figure and Scarne the guy with the staff
Also gamefiles, so good source but nothing impeding DE from changing later
Assuming each seven is linked to one of the seven deadly sins:
Karish = Gluttony, 6 12 external stomachs makes it clear
Ballas = Lust, he states it himself
Tuvul = Pride? just gave me that vibe from zariman recordings
Nitohk = Wrath? Commander of all orokin military forces
Scorne = unknown
Tormis = unknown
Aventus = unknown
was Tuvul the yuvan theather one?
6 stomachs? He had 12
Yeah
Oh damn mb
Could be envy then. Died trying to continuity into a tenno
Aventus could be sloth? Iirc she basically delegated everything until the grineer merked her
Avantus from what we know she got shot for being commanding
I remember that in a similar discussion Scorne was associated with cowardice/sloth since he was responsible for the towers/bunkers in the void and the pacifist faction
Can you elaborate why that would make him slothful?
Tbh that may have been his idea but leaders not fighting on front lines isn’t new
Not wanting to fight, trying to run away to the void, shoth can mean "the easy way out" mentality too
Even irl leaders don’t tend to do that anymore
Soldiers exist for a reason
So if anything that could be him being smart enough to think of that
Also don't most orokin towers double as ships
They all have ship areas
Interesting, I would’ve associated the muscular guy with sloth as contrast to his look, like in FMAB
At least there's not much info to go with for now, so we're going for whatever works in this comparison of sins with the few info we have
Tbf I don’t think Nitokh’s sin would be one of the 7 at all
Acedia (; also accidie or accedie , from Latin acēdia, and this from Greek ἀκηδία, "negligence", ἀ- "lack of" -κηδία "care") has been variously defined as a state of listlessness or torpor, of not caring or not being concerned with one's position or condition in the world. In ancient Greece, akēdía literally meant an inert state...
I still need to get more info of her from roathe so I’m not too sure about her other than she was the commander and that she wanted to kill the rest of the seven
This was one of the “extra” cardinal sins that got trimmed off for us to get the current 7 ones
It did
Pope Gregory combined acedia with tristitia to form sloth in his list. When Thomas Aquinas considered acedia in his interpretation of this list, he described it as an "uneasiness of the mind", which was a progenitor for lesser sins such as restlessness and instability
Thomas mentioned
Damn didn’t realise you were integral in the formation of the seven deadly sins congrats
Also what could be associated with cowardice? Pride? Sloth is the best bet atm
Does anyone have an image that DE staff answer why Infested transcended through time?
Don’t have an image but isn’t it because they’re a hive mind?
So the technocyte that predates the orokin are linked to the current infested in the solar system
This?
Not by DE itself, but KIM is a lore-dump feature so:
FlareRank2Convo3
Liminus_Star(Lizzie)
We are Many. We are the Forever. We are Throughout Time. We are the All. Forgive us the Few we Do Not See.
Technically KIM is approved by DE before being added to the game
So even then it is by DE
I wonder if the DE story writers ever browse this channel and see some theories and be like “damn they came to the perfect conclusion from stuff we introduced years ago”
They probably do have a look every now and then
They don’t actually answer lore questions here though
I just don't get all 100% sure because of the "executor" Nihil thing that happened. Still say it's reliable, tho
Assuming that they have future key lore aspects already planned and just expand on the lore to get there
The thing with that is it’s a simple mistake to confuse the 2 words
Yeah i agree it was simple, still one thing already sets that mistakes can happen
DE still look it over and probably just missed it
Was he supposed to be Executioner rather than executor?
exeggutor nihil 🥀
I also hope it won't happen again, but in case it does, now it's predefined that it would be a mistake instead of a retcon
It will probably happen again but not in the same way
just going over his lore, he did have some clout that allowed him to speak up in front of the executors even if he was a lower rank
Even this round of Protos have a ton of mistakes in their dialogue grammar wise
This round of Protos seems the most buggiest
Despite being a lower rank he was able to demand that original gara be glassed for volunteering to be a warframe without being punished
Well
Ballas don’t even listen to him
Ballas decided to give her glass abilities instead
maybe they just really enjoyed keeping him around. resident freak
Putting a cutscene, multiple npcs dialogue changes and a whole hell-trip counter inbuted in the chat path tends to do that
not to mention just generally pretty complex conversation trees
Yeah that
Well he did do a good service to them by getting rid of their enemies
Yeah but from how we know the orokin society are, I doubt demanding something from someone who’s a higher position than you wouldn’t get you punished, orokin or not
Orokin are basically immune to punishment
There’s literally only one known way to be removed
And that’s sentencing a person without the 7 present
Perintol and Nihil got scot-free, but one was Ball Ass ally and the other an Orokin Elite
Yeah Perintol would’ve 100% died had it not been for Ballas’ scheme
Also: Perintol Crater (Old Peace). Mf got even a land in his name
While Nihil got disrespected with Gara
Icl I feel like he was executed after the Old war broke out
I highly doubt the seven would’ve let him live after his creation threatens their society after he was nearly executed for even creating them in the first place
He didn’t actually demand anything of Ballas
He demanded to be allowed to glass her
He didn’t demand, he just said it
[thing about her volunteering] And Nihil cried 'Glass her, for her presumption!' until the arches rang with laughter.
This isn’t some guy directly telling Ballas or any one of the Executors to put someone to death, this is someone else saying something and then Guillotine Man, lord of all Guillotines saying “Guillotine her” because he got upset by it
Like, just because you don’t add a “please [Name/Title]” doesn’t make something a demand
yeah, maybe going "glass them!!!! glass them now!!!!" is just nihil's funny bit, hence why the arches rang with laughter
The way I see it, in orokin society if you don’t revere the people above you especially with how much value they had on hierarchy, if you don’t brown nose when asking for stuff those above you will see it as disrespectful
to be fair, ballas did sort of get him back for that one by making her all glass-themed
Or, lets say, I ping you and say “hey check out the art channel in the Archive discord”, it might be look like I’m telling you to do it, but its not a demand just because I didn’t word it as a request
That’s more casual, the judgement was definitely a formal setting considering the secrets behind the warframe project at the time
And we’re not orokin, in universe we’d be colony peasants
They'd more like see as entertaining (as per Ordis bit being met with laugther) but same punishment treatment after
As if formal settings don’t get just as informal without consequences at times
Yeah makes sense
Hell, even actual political stuff
They're normally really bored with their godly reference 24/7 already (as per Roathe's KIM iirc)
I don't think Ballas has ever listened to what another person said to do
Wouldn’t know haven’t gotten it yet so I’ll just trust you
Ballas telling Erra to leash him up because it’s crucial to his plans
“Listen Erra, I need you to put a leash on me, it’s not weird trust, me being leashed is 100% dependant on the plan working”
It probably was tbh
He truly was Lustful
Lustful for 1 person
Proceeds to get cuckholded by children and crashes Tf out destroying his own empire
Being split up from bottom didn't even stopped this man 💀
God unfortunately this man is kinda pretty
Woe
500 Toxin Eximuses upon ye
Was it ever mentioned how Ballas has lived up to this point I completely forgot
Fled and went into cryo
being in stasis for millennia that first stretch must’ve been godly
Loid was in one too, and he was... fine.
-# said construct like a slur immediately tho
Advanced system masters of biology
I wonder what became of Tau after Orokin like completely ditched and made sentients succumbed to hivemind's orders. This makes me wonder who would that hivemind be in current one
I’m still not clear on the lore from Old Peace but I thought the moon only had the Xenoflora so those that were there gained self awareness?
Yeah they gave them individual sapience and like being people on their own. And after we are tricked into destroying that most of the Xenoflora in that moon... yeea back to square one
We haven’t seen the rest of Tau to say only the moon has Xenoflora
That's why I said Most of the Xenoflora in Perita. I believe some of t hem are still alive and perhaps in other planets in Tau system? Could be
But since most of it's gone after the events, they'd return back to the hivemind or whatever it's currently in Tau
I believe rn with current info it exists in other places in Tau we haven’t been to yet
Gotta see what the planets of Tau bring
Yea, we are only seen memories of that moon only due to most of the Rebellion took there
My assumption is that Xenoflora was only on the moon, Nemesis is saying that it could exist in other places in Tau so not much in the grand scale of things regarding the sentients sense of self
Wait is hunhow part of that hivemind?
All should be
I think it was probably that they had other places with Xenoflora, but Perita was their original habitat and the place they could really be grown en-masse
Hence it being the big treaty area and the place where all the fighting we’re shown takes place
Probably because he’s the progenitor of many Sentients
Sort of a hidden spawn camp for the sentients on the solar system?
As far as we can tell the hivemind thing only applies to the fragments, and “normal” individuals like Praghasa, Hunhow, Lotus and Erra don’t need the Xenoflora
Also the Archons
You can say Hunhow also acts as a hivemind to combat drones like conculysts in Second Dream and Sentients in Narmer which are under the command of Pazuul/Erra
Tau's one is different
I don’t think Lotus counts because she was altered by ballas so he could’ve cut the connection of the hivemind from her
reading comprehension strikes again mb
I mean they could originate from them but they can have special abilities and have sentience to direct drone Sentients
With the Sentient’s innate adaptability capabilities what would happen if Hunhow suddenly decides to leave Uranus after spending all that time with all that underwater pressure?
he’s not exactly a bio organism so he won’t rapidly expand and die like deep sea creatures irl
Well, he’d probably just adapt in reverse
Like if he used the method deep sea creatures do, just constantly raising his internal pressure as he ascends
He was going to actually
But we detonated bombs to further damage him and send him deeper into the ocean
I completely forgot we did that, now he’s just a chill grandpa to Babyframe
I'm new to the game and still playing the story. But I was playing the dhuviri paradox and I'm totally lost. RN I'm taking a break from the story to get khora from the circuit but that quest made me more confused. It popped up after I unlocked Uranus and I thought it was the next quest after playing on demos and solving the family problems. That quest talked about void like am I supposed to know about it already but I don't?? I see void as a playable planet on the map.
Rn my biggest question/confusion is. Are Warframes like remote control robots that tenno control or like a battle suit that they wear or are they just alien races of warriors? I enjoyed the dhuviri paradox quest even tho I didn't get most of it but before that it still feels like a long prologue. Even after the demos questline it feels like a character doing side adventures and the corpus is the villains that Warframes/tenno is helping lotus to fight against.
This is early game stuff, oh, the joys of being a baby tenno.
How badly do you want to be spoiled?
Not at all. Even though I'm confused I'm having fun being clueless. I just hope it turns out good. I've heard people talking about second dream or something many times on different platforms.
Mm.
Just wait, allow yourself to play through the quests.
Things will come apparent soon
Okay. I mean I get it that I should give it some time. I've 11-12 years of content to go through after all.
There is just quests that should explain your questions
The deimos quest becomes important later on
The duviri paradox shouldn't be played so early
Though, tell me.
Did you notice who was narrating duviri? Who she sounds like?
-# she does narrate the days in that quest, right?
i believe so? i think she has some lines
I don't remember any female narrating the quest...
Mm. Quick favour. Go into duviri for me. Just into the world. No need to do anything.
but yeah, duviri... needs alot of context from other quests, especially the new war
Okay.. but do you mean dhuviri experience? I thought to stay away from other two modes outside the circuit because I was confused and didn't wanna continue the part of that quest if it was a continuation. I thought it's further the quest or something.
Yeah, the experience is what you should do.
And no, it doesnt do anything storywise
The story is just the story of the quest iirc
The narrator im talking about. She should announce the title
the duviri quest is like the vox solaris one iirc, setting you up with a tutorial for a piece of content
"The sorrowful soprano" and the like
Ok loading the game. Speaking of dhuviri quest. One more confusing thing. That guy on poster/mentor for character I made was called teshin. But he was human?
But I saw one more teshin before him who taught me how to mod character and weapon and he was more like Warframes.
.... and thats why the quest should be done later
Trying to get a baby tenno to realise who is narrating duviri
once you get to the new war, everything should start clicking into place regarding duviri, but it sounds like youre a ways off from that
Yes I see someone called sythel in dhuviri experience but there was other voice before her which sounded different. But I still don't recognize her that much
I guess I'll just focus on continuing where I am in story rn. At my point it's telling me to play missions on Uranus until I encounter strange drones.
Smh
Nah, its not important to the story much, but the narrator to duviri is Mother, from deimos
Can you spoiler tag a response for me, I played all the quests and I'm drawing a blank on who you're talking about
||I had that feeling. I was confused between mother and grandmother.||
Timing, lol
Sorry 😐
If you played all the quests you should know by now 😭
You should realise by the new war
Its connectable earlier bcs of how early you can play duviri
I mean I didn't remember grandma narrated the start of it
Nah, its mother
strange drones, i thought duviri was locked until like war within or something
||Euleria Entrati||
I came back after a long time and only did things in order of what the game forced me to to get to old peace
Think I would've been lost if I didnt put off duviri
Also I hate YT for spoiling me.. I was watching video normally where one YouTuber was giving guide on current event for ||dagath as free Warframe|| and someone in the comment said. || Wait isn't that the name of the grandmother?|| like c'mon man I can't even watch guide without getting spoiled
If you're in a guild that has built the dagath crypt thing you can go there for grandma story time
(They're also wrong I'm pretty sure)
dagath is one of the many smaller side stories in warframe
Nah, they're right
cant remember if dagath was grandmothers name, but i seem to recall dagath being given her name by grandmother
I unlocked Uranus junction and I got big button showing up near something called railjack mission and I tapped on it to just get to know what it is or what is content of that game and it started the quest. The starting monologue and cutscene was soo cool with thrax slamming the fists and saying repeat so I never thought maybe I'm skipping some very important quests.
||vaguely remember her sacrificing her name, and giving dagath the name dagath because it meant something specific||
||not that it WAS grandma's name||
But it had its own benefit I guess. I wanted to get khora after I was little strong to farm but that circuit mode gave me a chance to get all her blueprints without farming missions. Plus I got to learn a few more frames.
||Nitohk famously translates to "Garuda lore"||
circuits nice, tbh i think the best thing they could do with duviri is lock it till after new war, but put a taxi in for circuit kinda like what they did with old peace and perita rebellion
Circuits nice (if you ignore just how many missions it takes per stage and also how quickly it scales to level cap and also excavation)
one thing i wish they did with circuit is put yareli on it, so i dont have to do that stupid kdrive quest
||ALL OROKIN NAMES MEAN SOMETHING SPECIFIC.||
||What does Karrish mean or Avantus||
So i did the quest recently and
It’s so much better than it was on release
Idk.
It seemingly means something though.
my caliban went from glorified weapon platform to pure ability frame and you wanna know what changed
me understanding how to use caliban....
Lmao
Ballas means [This message has been redacted.]
How to use (the particular build I have for) Caliban
step 1. summon gun sentinel
Step 2: spin
Step 3: spin
step 4: don't stop spinning. ever.
step 4.1: strip armor off acolyte
basically how my Valkyr talon build is; why hack'n'slash when you can just blend the enemies
the funny thing?
Caliban's spin doesn't suck, it has a lot of utility just not a lot of damage
what does do a lot of damage is your gun sentinels lighting the enemies up
the yuvan list
the tau dmg stacks from cali-spin is just the cherry on top for those pesky enemies who tank the first sentient cannon shot
Step 0: get the augment for the gun sentients
it happens
anyway to get things back on track, a question
Do you think DE will ever do anything with the fact the corpus have access to Hunhow
I'm not to certain a half broken sentient waiting to die will be very cooperative with capitalism but
Do they though
Stalker's lair isn't near hunhow
Hunhow's tomb is blocked off
Idk what it originally meant but by now I think Karishh might mean fata-
It was, but Stalker got in at the start of The Second Dream.
At least to a spot he could see Hunhow and speak to him from, anyway.
I know Hunhow is still stuck (either by the pressure or by the entrance to where he is in the water still being blocked), but I hope we can free him from whatever is keeping him where he is. 😄
Imagine a fragment of his comes with us to Tau and it somehow finds some xenoflora
There goes gpa
Some facts:
- Baro was recently at Kronia Relay
- Vay Hek is currently attacking Kronia Relay with a Fomorian
Therefore: - Vay Hek clearly has beef with Baro
(/s)
i'd believe it
More yaoi in my warframe
Real
So how exactly does the XX99 portal appear there’s no animation no cutscenes no nothing and I don’t like that. It just magically appears like the everything else
Are all orokin humans or there are aliens or something else in their empire? bcs for me, ballas doesnt look that much of a human tome
The staircase was always there
I distinctly remember that
No aliens exist in WF minus the Xenoflora. Ballas and most Orokin just had body mods
Humans
The discrepancy comes from their constant genetic tinkering
wait, no aliens? couldnt we consider anything from deimos one? or they are considered animals but just infected?
Not aliens.
there is no war in basingse aliens in warframe
All that was stuff that originated in the solar system, if not on Earth
what could be consider alien on warframe then?
if not earth just other planet that had humans there?
I bet there's no frame in basingse either
No, they developed colonies
Again, the Xenoflora. That's it
an flower?
yup xenoflora is our first confirmed alien life in warframe (which is more believable than a sentient species)
-# xenoflora quite literally means 'alien - flower'
hmmm. thx. i got curious bcs there is a chat with the 1999 gang about aliens.
Yup
No aliens
and now i remembered most of persons that appear in warframe are either human, robot or infecntion also sentinel.
I haven't checked if there's any Al-Ians though
base on Roathe voiceline during boss fight, it seem like Uriel strain in him is conscious
Oh, joy
and the void tongue is not Roathe's
in Warframe's universe there could hypothetically be sentient extraterrestrial lifeforms, but they are probably light-years away in a distant galaxy. but we have in lore barely made it out of our own system
The only thing unaccounted for is the Infested's origins, since even the Techrot is only mentioned to be one of the first main outbreaks.
Hope the Infestation is the next focus point after Wally. It's like the next closest thing we have to him in terms of importance
Though 1999 was already that to a degree
So I may be kicked in the teeth
yeah DE please flesh out the infestation more
Hope they recycle some of those old Infestation events into quests for those who weren't there to experience them
And to give context to Patient Zero
Medieval might be too close to Soulframe though
Soulframe:
-# and Soulframe actually has aliens
No magic Void powers?
Sounds boring
also this is very copium opinion of me, but I think Soulframe is actually warframe past that not even known to the "modern" human pre-orokin
soulframe has a very distinct fairy whimsy to it
there is no way that the frame in "soulframe" is coincidence
im talking about something edgy and more grounded
-# on a different planet, in a different galaxy
but weird enough to work for WF
infested in knight armor
and finally a new crossbow weapon
I would like more crossbows
Thou shalt die to-day
cool blows up a room while leading skeletons besides an elf a dwarf and a funny inquisitor that prays a shield around himself
you mean
A long time ago, in the galaxy far far away...?
to be clear to anyone that didn't get it that is possible in vermintide
Sort of the reference, yes
Alca even has two suns, for crying out loud
i picked Lavos for the dwarf because he is one of the shortsest frames and the prime pose with dual zoren
Tau if Orokin is a decent empire
Alternate universe...
I can see it
best you get is a new grimoire
and Dante proto named Merlin
id gladly play soulframe
but its such a terrible visual hit or miss for me
they did not care for masculine body type at all
:(
but anyways, warframe
frames of war
Is only Hollvania affected by Techrot or the whole world during 1999
Unrelated but could you spare some time in the DMs
I want to ask sth
if I'm remembering correctly Hollvania is ground zero for the Techrot, everywhere else on old earth is presumably fine
Only Höllvania is experiencing the outbreak in the years leading to Y2K. It did get out of hand afterwards however
I see, since in the Whisper quest there's footage of ppl celebrating New Year's in New York (on the TV during 1999)
Yeah I dont think they'd be celebrating like that if there was a technoorganic plague in their area tbh
so did Al find an existing helminth in xx99 to time travel there?
That’s not how he seems to be time travelling
Recall how he did it in Whispers
casket smash
if the smashing was important to the procedure, who's the accomplice?
unless he made a self smashing machine
the casket being smashed was an attempt to prevent wally from following him there
The casket was what was important
We don’t know what form of time travel he used, just that he was capable of bringing things back and fourth
If I had to assume he utilized the void as we see it’s energies everywhere in regards to his time travel tech (we see it with the subway train and the cars)
Speaking of idk how to feel about Roathe achieving time travel through the helminth when the portal like
Wasn’t even helminthy-
Drifter’s version made more sense at least but Roathe just made helminth do it ig :p
the smashing was only important insofar as to break the machine lol
Sure feel free to dm
i need a refresher...
the tenno (operator) were rescued because the zariman reappeared again. and now the zariman that we're doing our missions/bounties is the drifter's, right?
its ours and the drifters
there is only one Zariman
Sola Zariman
a singular Zariman is acting as a super-Zariman where all the potentials of the Zariman are contained within it
as such it is the operator and the Drifter's zariman
Why did the orokin not go to duviri when the zariman reappeared , are they stupid
Couldn't
So quick to give up
What is this? Fight club?
Well considering the one orokin who got there probably did by trying to kill himself, i dont think that's something they thought of
im just saying if it were me id have just gotten lucky and checked the right dormizone
they missed out on acrithis, the fools
Love it when people just dont comment on the idea of Albrecht trying to off himself
well it's mostly like
Idk if its like
People just agreeing or like
Agreeing in the bad way
"Albrecht is that selfish, he would kill himself" bad agreement
Instead of "oh shit yeah ykwhat he probably did try"
i assume this interpretation comes from the "I must atone for what I had done through my own blood." line and some lines from the duviri logs?
EXACTLY
Its just
"I must atone for what I had done through my own blood" and immediately jumping to duviri
The guilt he feels as well
The animals can live without him, but his Daughter wouldn't
He had given up, which ties into another line grandmother has now
it was not my initial read from the logs back then, but it is definitely an interpretation that seems consistent
I don't think its the immediate conclusion most would have
But with added context its starting to look far more likely
particularly the former line about atoning, I think on its own mostly just sets the stage for him starting to meddle properly in freaky timeline stuff
Well, the book he and his daughter wrote is about that
"What is the core thesis of 'The Palimpsest of Spacetime'?
A: Events can be rewritten; traces of the original persist"
That book has both him and Euleria credited
Albrecht also seems to have a autobiography lol
and I think even with everything, the part preceding that line: "So long as I worked through scapegoats, my guilt would only deepen.", is a little inconsistent with what someone who is about to just give up would say?
