They exist in a similar state to Operator and Drifter but the Universe doesn’t struggle since one is in Duviri and the other is presently lodged in a void hole

While in the void multiples seem to be able to exist just fine as it’s outside of spacetime, which is likely how Drifter and Operator can have their brief moments next to eachother
In the New War they’re aboard the void saturated Zariman
In Lotus Eaters they’re on the edge of the void
In both instances they’re on a sorta borderline so their time is limited but they can exist without issue
This seems more true for Lotus Eaters since Drifter makes it clear they’re on a sorta timer

Hence why you have to choose, they can’t both exist for an extended period of time in spacetime
