Davis and I slam pinned against a cell door and he shouts at me. I give him a dumb look. I can't hear him, the sirens, anything, only the muffled throb of terror in my head. I turn away from Davis down the hall and I see it. The hulking mass, flickering red, glinting like steel and fresh blood. Its skin changes, flowing like mercury when I'm blinded by the sudden muzzle-flashes. They do no good. The beast surges forward and the security men become crimson mist and gore.

It rears up like a bear and roars, shattering the lights and casting us into darkness. I can hear it lumbering toward me, its metal fingers rending the walls, but I know I am dead. I close my eyes and stand ready to pay.

I feel the pull on my arm and realize Davis got the cell open. He tugs me into the cell beyond and I fall on my back. I see Davis standing at the open door, waiting, as the monster tears towards us.

Suddenly I could live through this I shout, "Davis, close the goddamn door!" - But he shakes his head eyes wide as moons. He shouts, "Watch!" over the roaring and rending of metal.

Then silence. Davis is panting, laughing? The beast fills the doorway, inches from him, dripping in blood, but still without violence. It stands there, looking at its hands. Davis whispers, "No one would have believed me."

I crawl up the wall to stand, opposite the door. I've never seen this cell, a cold place with an array of shelves. A morgue? "Where are we, Davis?"

"This is where they keep them. The ones from Zariman." I'm thrown, what was the Zariman? The ship that never returned? "Davis, what's going on?"

Davis turns to me, a smile forming - "What's going on is..." he turns back to the beast now silent and calm.

"...big, fat promotions."

Well, Primes aren't really special in any regard to how they'd be obtained. We also just turn Aya into Relics to get the BPs and stuff, and Regal into the Prime stuff outright.

The Teacher is really cool for finding a way to actually introduce Teshin outside of Convclave, but I hate the fact it sends you off to Fortuna (Which you're forced to do regardless) because the open worlds really don't provide anything immediately useful to a new player, so I would even feel wrong in telling them to ignore them for a while as you get better stuff. If there was any kind of immediate reward to write home about I'd enjoy them being shown off to the new players.

It's really hype but I do wish there was a more of an immediate reason to suggest players do at least the first couple ranks.

Especially because you're forced to do the quest so early on now and it just feels weird to go "yeah get back a bit later when you have stronger gear", and with Heart of Deimos being something that has lore implications that only make sense way after a player gets past the initial hurdle of not understanding what's going on. Maybe a couple of the trickier to get mods like the Multishot ones

There's also a lot of gaps in how the whole process of designing and making a Warframe goes, because the partnership with Parvos to make Protea makes it out to me that you can just design a frame without regard to the subject you're using it on to at least some regard. Whether or not the surviving Warframe victim is then allowed to be a frame design they let loose and copy after if they prove themselves is also something that's mentioned when talking about Ivara.

I was thinking... Could the blooms perhaps be a terraforming product of the Sentients. An attempt to build a society when it was peaceful enough on Tau to try to build a society. Perhaps they started doing so before the Old Peace, with the Orokin losing the war, the Sentients pushed the Orokin far enough back for them to start truly settling on Tau.

To the Sentients the blooms mean hope. That is why they get individuality from them. Because when the Sentients have a society, there will be roles needed to make the society function. It's when they no longer need to think about fighting a war when they have space to think about other things. The reason why they hate the hivemind is because they legitimately want peace, they hate war, they hate destroying things, but when they don't feel the positive effects of the hope that the blooms represent, than anger is all they feel because Orokin can truly not live together with them without ruining everything.

That is why the blooms make the air toxic to humans.
