Just imaging writing a grineer that steps up by being praised at being a good cook
generic soldier rations I would guess
Grineer
Oh, Kahl goes fishing sometimes too, so there's that
Grineer soldiers subsist on "Corpse Slurry" made by the processing of meat from insubordinate/underperforming Grineer
Nope. There’s also the fact he needed Ballas to weaken things in the first place, and we were able to hold off an attempt from him in Gargoyle’s Cry
Usually the "corpse" part is omitted though
Hmm looks workable
Wasn’t there also like, a pie or something
Actually that might’ve been something the queen said she was gonna eat
if you find it pls send me
I doubt the Grineer have much of a culinary culture at all since the empire is solely focused on efficiency and expanding
Nah, they’re open about it, at least on the Fortress
Attention: There are only three valid reasons to cease working on the kuva supply. One: A Dreamer has arrived with a hideous metal puppet. You may pause your work to kill it. Two: You have died from exhaustion. Please remain dead until your body has been collected by Food Services. Three: Uh… Three… hmm… I guess that only makes two reasons!
Pardon the interruption, but unfortunately we are declaring several [giggle] redundancies today, across all departments. Say goodbye to: scheduled breaks, compensation, and regular meals. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours!
Ah, was thinking of this
Curious Worker K97 writes: 'Your Majesty, what are some delicious ways to make protein slurry?' Oh, well, I'm so glad you took time out of your work detail to ask this! You've inspired a whole new line of meat pies! Mmm, mmm, gamey!"
there's #memories-of-tau channel who had the link trown constantly, atm I'm ocupied to search there and only answering with text what I can
Well someone has to give out the food... So a buffet worker would work in universe right?
Ahh, good to know the truth indeed wouldn't've been worth my time
Why tf are are her lines all so corporate 😭
Orokin
Orokin aren’t corporate they’re snooty and arrogant
And very fond of telling people to do things by the book
Well she's speaking over comms to workers
Hmm gotta google the Pie idea...
The queens eat sth to right?
Well, just Queen now, but yeah
Hmm than I probably will try to write a short story about the Queen cook, since she probably doesnt want to eat kuva the same way all the time?
Eat sth?
If you follow on that story idea, here's some extra things to trown around: A interpretation the Lua's Prey cinematic (the one you can see by looking at lua in a specific place of the Voruna leverian) is that the worm queen is crazy(ier?) and use the severed head of the elder queen as a "Wilson" friend (not seeing the head as her sister "alive" but as a new person, notably more friendly)
Yeah saw it right now to catch up and yeahhh gives me an idea. Gonna sketch a picture of the cook right now (after eating some dinner myself.)
XD
So, I have a lore question, about spoilers in the old peace, ||if Margulis was the one who put us the tenno to sleep (I guess this was the first dream?), then Natah woke us up again to finish the old war and put us to sleep again? (In a second dream?) is this correct? ||
Got it, thanks || I thought the first dream was somewhere during the zariman incident, hence my confussion ||
We got woken up and put back to sleep cause our uncle was mean
nah the dreams are because of how we were after the incident
Old War as a whole is confusing tbh
This has been the most direct info on it
Get all the schools and click all the glitchy parts of all the images. You only need to click them on one path, but all the schools are needed.
And the therapy
And the trauma sealing
I- what-?
In the interactive, you need to get all the schools and find all the glitches
yes, for the lenses Xd
but I got the Truth with 2 schools (missed a couple glitches on my first go lmao)
to clarify, what Margulis put us in is the Second Dream. Natah only woke us up out of the pods for an instance during the assault on Lua and put us back in it
so how to find the glitch
pro tip: pause on the screen for like 1-2 seconds and find glitching out parts, click those
idr if it’s always after challenges or some after regular questions
but I missed a couple bcs I thought there werent any glitches on the screen only to click next and see the glitch a split second before the transition to the next question
I have to redo some mission again...
if you alr complete a challenge you dont have to do it again
It ask me to do it again
I already done it last time but now it just making me doing it again
It's different missions for each school/option
eh just hop onto earth or venus mission solo they’re easy enough Xd
this too
so no need to get all school right?
You should for the lenses
Free Eidolon lenses :)
just get all 5 glitches
if you dont feel like doing it for the lenses
Eh I have too much lens anyway
Where do we
Put the lenses
Hhhhhh
You can always always have more
It’s like forma
I got the path for the one lense I didn't need
Warframe past lore in a nutshell
I got the first glitch (excal prime), what is the next one
oh ok
They’re all in the pictures so you can’t miss them
You forgot about romance somewhere in-between

(I have not romanced anyone)
same
it’s in the eternalism strand of khra Xd
That only happens to Drifter
Who doesn’t sleep but does do warcrimes
Nah that’s in the past to our eternalism alt self
What is romance, but a tongue warcrime action in your [THIS USER GOT TEMPORARILY MUTED]
Which warcrimes?
Warframe abilities seem bizarrely selective and never seem to harm anything that isn't an enemy or an inanimate object.
idk how to tell you this but even flaming people is a warcrime
Lavos is literally the chemical warfare frame
There are certain warcrimes that involve flamethrowers, but setting an enemy soldier on fire with a flamethrower is not one of them.
Blinding and serrated(?) weapons are considered a warcrime
Gara is quite a criminal
weapons for warfare must be made to kill as efficiently as possible, not intentionally making the enemy suffer before their death. A lot of our weapons fail that criteria
As long as you don't infuse gas or viral

I'm pretty sure every blinding ability on a Warframe is temporary, and thus almost certainly not what they're talking about.
Did I get lucky?
That's a lore discussion
Viral damage isn't even contagious, and none of the contagious abilities share the "uncontrolled spread to everyone" that actual disease does.
Fair enough
They are all bizarrely selective
the warframes are the warcrimes
also ||Uriel in Old Peace||
whose Vessel did Wally control during the end of Whisper in the Wall
also just saying we do warcrimes is literally just a joke in the community cause we do a lot of overkill lol
imagine a group of Uriel flying at the same time to your fleet
kinda suck that DE make it so he can't use slam
you need to exit the flying mode then you can slam
I dont like Slam wukong, other slam is fine because ppl have to jump
it does not
all the 7 executor is confirmed dead?
Lmfao am not, I don't get the voice actors who voice my fictional husbandos to voice characters in my game (just a joke)
No.
We don't know the fate of:
- Nitokh
- Scarne
- Tormis
Balls, Karishh, Tuvul, Avantus: ⚰️
Scarne, Tormis:
Nitokh ||Is GIM spoiler||
who killed avantus?
A grineer lol (history in the Enviscerator sinthesis iirc)
lame ass death lmao
Apparently both Valdur and Daklo suggest that something weird is going on with the flowers:
Valdur: "'Xenoflora'. Flowers. The only real alien life we've ever found, and the Sents scarf them down like kubrow chow! Just as well for us they did, eh, Tenno? Suddenly they've all got minds of their own, so no more hivemind, so no more war."
Daklo: "Tenno, I know you're loyal and you want this to work, but you know it as well as I do: there is something deeply amiss with the Sentients. If they're so proud of who they are, then why do they want to be human so badly? And every time they try, it's just off, isn't it? Just know you have a friend in me if you ever need to talk."
I'm pretty sure the "spoiler" is that we don't know if Nitokh is alive.
can we already discuss old peace stuff in here?
The channel description beings with "SPOILER ALERT: THis channel may contain spoilers!"
||Maybe the death is confirmed there, maybe it isn't, I didn't get to the convos end yet||
For courtesy I personaly put spoilers till a month later
how many transcript does uriel already have?
yeah that makes sense, I'll send more stuff in the old peace chat
‘Bout to start beefing with Marie when it comes down to Entranti it seems
the whole thing's datamined afaik
Daklo is just racist

If Hunhow can change I can fix Daklo (cope)
I don't know if this is the best place but its kinda of a lore thing, since it's about the kimulacrum... But what are the Thermostat counter in the conversations with Marie? Adding counters is bad? I really don't understand
Isn't that a Roathe thing?
It happens with Marie too
At least according to the Kimulacrum
I really want to have good relationships with Lyon, Roathe and Marie... So I wanted to understand a bit more of that thermostat counter
Well... I'll at least try to get good chemistry with them. But if anyone has some info I would appreciate it
Thermostat is the counter for Rothe's personal opinion on redemption
0-4 gets you his bad ending because he concludes he personally is evil'
5+ gets you his redemption ending (if you gather the right flags as well)
Negative thermostat gets you a secret good ending because he decides that the Orokin are evil so him being evil is also fine, but also you're basically an Orokin if you get this
That's a secret good ending?
the villain ending yes
I wasn't expecting something like that
I supose its better to just add as many counters as possible then?
there are actually a few different alternate endings
you can still screw up the conversations, as always
Now he's sending me lots of audio messages, I'm scared
that's from Descendia
actually that can also screw up your KIM lol
Well screw up is the wrong word
Oh yeah, you get enough of those you unlock all his memeories.
but you're not supposed to farm him
....Wait wut.
...what.
and there's a slight punishment for it
Then how on Tau am I supoosed to farm uriel?!
"not"
I'm dying inside
if you unlock all his memories early he figures out you're resetting the timeline
and calls you out on it
like Lizzie but it comes up in more than one convo
Oh, well. I'm good. cuz I never reset anyway.
I got 6 audios... is that really bad or I still have chance of getting a "good ending" with him...?
It doesn't lock you out of the good ending
Oh good good
but it does add an extra wrinkle
If they didn't want me farming him then they shouldn't make me farm lmao
I guess I'll just try to add more counters whenever I have a chance... Seems the easiest?
this is only if you have all 21 conversations
What about if you never even reset before?
it runs off the memories so it won't help
Whaaaat?
it's because of how they structured this KIM
So wait like what happens if I did farm him already?
While Lizzie checks if you've ever reset, Rothe only checks HellStory, which is his counter for how many voice messages you've gotten
That's like being accused of cheating on a final exam because you were just that good.
no it's an oversight
they should check reset count AND HellStory
but they didn't think people would no-life his messages
.
He's stupid easy to farm
This is just DE being stupid if they didn't account for this
if you played Descendia properly and only ran it weekly (or twice weekly for SP) you wouldn't run into trouble
cough cough there are people who got all ults by farming perita already
There's actually no point to redoing his boss fight since you get so many pity mats
I did it just so he'd get his memories back. I didn't think it'd backfire.
womp womp
I mean he asked for his memories back tho
"Memories are what make me me"
"Wait no not those memories let's not"
Too bad, Roathe, they're your memoreis
no no it's not even that
He likes having his memories back
He doesn't like the implication that he remembers getting his memories back before
Meaning someone's playing games
this is too much for my poor dumb brain
It's like DE forgot what game this is
Come on DE I just want to chat with them and not having a actual stress like real life when talking to someone on the internet

Okay, so then yeah, the HellStory without checking the resets thing is just DE being stupid
If it was just him not wanting all the memories I'd be fine and take the L with that
The mistake was making Rothe re-fightable, I think
should have been a once per week thing period
DE also didn't explain it existing at all
It's a side effect of there being multiple teams working on the update
Taking 21 weeks to get the Honoria sounds awful
I heard that's a bug
oh well that would do it
I haven't heard anything either way for that
This update also doesn't explain things very well in general
Patch notes didn't even mention the meter
All the people who don't check the KIM for the initial lore dump on why the Cathedral is here is staggering
Which meter?
Honestly the worst update in terms of actually instructing players
Because the patch notes have never gone into detail about how the KIM works if that's what you mean
Roathe apparently has a danger zone meter
There's two big endings, +Temp gives villain ending -Temp gives redemption. More or less than 5 gives an ending, between there is a fail
right yeah that's fine enough
Like I said, patch notes have never explained the actual KIM mechanics
I don't really mind the temp thing, yeah
I'm fine with it existing but no actual mentions of it will definitely cause some people to fail
“Oh this is a lovely game.”
“…I PLAYED THESE GAMES BEFORE!”
though I think this is backwards, I heard +temp is the redemption ending?
only because of hearsay
Because we only have hearsay
Did I hear Heresy?
In practice encouraging him to find redemption gets you the redemption ending

Heretic of Xata
truth
actually by this point in the KIMs, it wouldnt screw anything up
Ive been looking and we're in a neat midway point where its checking for up to 9-11-13?? counters
and still theres no way anyone can hit 21 counters
actually, yeah they can.
you can redo the roathe fight over and over.
no it dont work like that
that runs up HellKeyPlayed which triggers the VMs
but the VMs are timegated to 2 per day (since old peace launched)
huh
its the VMs that increase HellStory Counter
OK that makes a lot more sense.
Oh so don't listen to the VMs?
so triggering VMs increases the thermostat too?
that's a different story.
Is that a good or bad thing?
VMs increase the hellstory counter.
VMs in itself are time-gated it sounds like..
I think that very timegate keeps roathe from unjustly accusing you of resetting.
it is an inevitable thing
correct, but from what I can tell we're out of the woods there
but I think roathe is smart enough to figure out about resetting anyways, but I dont know if it will play out in the kims or not
-# or do I
@lean garden you probably saw but the game hasn't been playing my Roathe conversations post-Descendia, so that bug hasn't been fixed yet
I know, isa tragedy
So has there been any lore on the Emperors? Who they were and if the Tenno killed them? I hadn’t heard of them until Roathe mentioned them as above the Executors.
No
They got like, one mention in Stalkers codex, which is what we know them from
But it was assumed they had been retconned into the Executors until now because they never came up again
Or, more likely, they were retconned into the Executors, but Rebecca decided to bring them back
Rothe has a throwaway line in his early Descendia logs about them sleeping on their thrones
What do we call a retcon of a retcon that brings back the original?
no fun, I'll call it fowardcon or smt
We had to use the bathroom and raid the fridge for cheese that’s why we woke up
Wait I responded to the wrong message
Fml
Reversed retcon
Is ballas dead dead? Cuz as far as we know his body is just floating in the void and who know what can happen
Yes
Warden isn’t Ballas at all
So he's definitely dead
Im Mac
Ballas got his life sucked out by lotus... now i know how that sounds but it is what happened
He didn't deserve such a kind fate tbh
Childhood is thinking ballas got what he deserved. Maturity is knowing he deserved worse
Wisdom is knowing that the greatest torture you can inflict on Ballas is forgetting him.
And yet, apparently not the worst
I think maturity is realizing Ballas cannot do anything more to ruin anymore lives ever again.
Until you remember
repercussions of his actions will probably still ruin thousands more
inigo montoya?
do we have a lore reason that metal is so popular in warframe?
like everything is either rock or metal
cuz its sci fi
Maturity is realizing that:
Natah: "We've already had our revenge."
metal holds
I guess given earth's...everything. wood is probably very rare and not worth using
it probably isn't that rare, but not worth using.
and mostly held by grineer
Ostron are constantly walking around with and using random lumps of matter everywhere
are the Venusian trees wood or like...fungunal material
Carpentry is a skill lost to the plague. :V
why would you, a grineer or corpus that wants a strong base, make things out of a weaker material than you have access to?
The wonderful thing about wood as a material is that it literally grows on trees
not really
100,000 credits of wood or 15,000,00 credits of alloy
again most wood is controlled by grineer
trade deals idk
At some point you start wondering why did you build your ship out of wood
meanwhile you can just have solaris or something similar mine for you
worked out well in outer wilds
The Grineer would like to control it, but actually they're really struggling to keep it under control.
See: the Silver Grove. :3
Finally, cost effective Moa
true, but the point stands
corpus dont have easy access
As I understand it, RL warships switched to metal decks once they had good enough AC and ventilation to handle it.
metal is just better for things you want to hold
hold through gunfights, science experiments, space flight, and more in this case
what about the zariman incarnons is that wood
Yes
Yep
Wood and marble, yeah
You know I agree with that
Also regular weapons to an extent look better, like I think regular Corinth looks better than its prime
is stalker on better terms with the tenno these days or does he still hate them
because like. can you really hate your midwife?
At best he probably thinks we're even
does anyone know when this background changed and why
This update, no idea why probably something Wally related
what is it tho
probably old peace but I can't tell what im looking at
the old background was a bunch of wally, the new one looks like a massive entrati machine
too big to actually comprehend, but above is a big one the spheres with runes all over it
tricks from the manindawall
probably to mess with us
its not like his influence is gone
it does seem like something is happening though. Theres a pretty clear barrier on the sides
on the right you can pretty clearly see the old background where we have much more of his influence
part of me thinks he's backing off a little after the quest to focus elsewhere, or when
does it look dustier?
i've been looking at a few screenshots of the old skybox and everything seems clearer then it does in my game
Looks like the divide between dust and Void is slowly not becoming a divide
Tech one?
this one
Yeah that’s definitely new
Did they accidentally flip the background
Nah I think Wally purposefully flipped it
Is Wally trying to cause the labs to collapse
I swear we end up with more and more of the lab missing
does anyone have all of the lore blurbs shown during the Old Peace livestream?
the one titled ???? ??????? ????? (or something like that)
I think it was ???????? ?? ???
Is that not the zariman
I have most
No
Nah too blacky
Wood isn’t known for growing very fast, though.
Orokin tho'
about the sanctum anatomica background... I think we just did a 180 turn? because before, the entrati tech stuff was visible if you were looking towards the sanctum from the outside bit
and now it's been reversed
oh that's smart
thanks
i remember someone made a reddit post with em all, but i cant find it TwT
i was about to put that here
^a collection from the captura scene from before, you can see the entrati tech thing used to be placed where the endless wallys are now
… I just realized that the Yareli prime blurb implies that Ballas wanted to be a young woman.
elaborate??
i have no doubt all of the orokin inhabited all sorts of bodies
Moreso a young girl.
He had initially chosen the first Yareli subject as his next continuity body, but felt disrespected by her and turned her into a warframe instead.
oh lmao
Not even a woman, chances are the yuvan was a child
I didn’t want to go there but yes
Idk how comfortable people are bringing that bit up
That and you can see stuff like it in other areas of the lab
Eh, imo folk should know thats what the orokin did. Kill and possess children's bodies.
Better to be a bit uncomfortable and just try to quickly move past than to just avoid acknowledging it entirely
Unless there’s like, trauma stuff
This does mean that Ballas is gender fluid though
I mean… why else would they want to inhabit a woman’s body?
Gender is a construct, even more for the orokin. It becomes a little pointless when you can change it on a whim
They are also like
Giga good at cosmetic surgery
Yeah, which means he/him is entirely arbitrary for Ballas
I mean, they can make themselves blue and have an elongated functional arm
so like... I'm sure they've figured out trans surgeries by then
Yuppers. He chose it. All for we know, the current body ballas inhabits could've been female :)
We already have irl, its just a matter of making the scarring disappear
Or they just felt like being male at the time.
maybe I should've specified perfected it
The orokin as a whole also had pretty androgynous dressing
Drifter already talked about the whole gender thing not mattering much in present day WF
Have i seen at least 1 person dress like how bluebrecht does? Yeah its a little concerning
The name is important in Orokin society when you can just swap around and edit bodies like it's a fashion choice (because it is to them)
Exactly!!
They don't gaf, its just the name that's important
Probably why the entrati family treat necraloid as if he is just Loid (cuz to them, he is)
The entrati had undergone continuity before the infestation happened, hadn’t they? I know Albrecht had access to it but refused.
No clue exactly when he stopped, but yes, sometime after wally
There is a chance he did it one more time
A small chance, and not one i believe in, but one nonetheless
I agree, because imo his memoir saying "this is the last body I inhabit" could be interpreted as "I'm not doing it anymore at all since last time (before wally)" or "This is the last time I'm doing it (after wally)"
Honestly, continuity should be at the forefront of the current ‘do Orokin deserve a chance at redemption?’ Question. Because it’s probably the single most vile thing you can do to another human being.
There's the fact he was still blue post void incident
He took a lot of time to think about stopping Continuity
developed entire space travel tech in the meantime yeah
Meaning he either bleached his skin or did it one final time
He also still had the orokin hair in duviri
Roathe doesn't recognise Albrecht's current form too
Continuity is, as a concept, Evil with a capital E.
Possibly the worst individual thing done by anyone in the lore
I think if they just. Used clones of their original bodies, it wouldn't be half as bad. Which was entirely possible
They just didn't like clones
That’s it yeah
They decided that it was… better to use real people when cloning was an entirely viable method.
They make the rules so they do whatever. Shoot people because they're bored, even.
Well there is the worry of clone rot, but i don't think we fully know how that occurs
Clone rot wasn't an issue until the Grineer couldn't swap out the templates because the tech was genelocked.
Mm, so the reuse of DNA would be bad.
It's like inbreeding. Yeah you likely shouldn't do it at all but once or twice doesn't cause immediate issues.
Its generation loss
…. Grandmother was a monster, damn.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_loss
Specifically this one, not the yt series
Generation loss is the loss of quality between subsequent copies or transcodes of data. Anything that reduces the quality of the representation when copying, and would cause further reduction in quality on making a copy of the copy, can be considered a form of generation loss. File size increases are a common result of generation loss, as the in...
Oh there we go I only got the YT series lol
so curious... but also don't want grandma spoilers
Orokin could’ve made clones
Oh just the fact that she’s orokin.
Similar to the Genetic Dynasty from the Foundation show
How they always have Dawn, Day, and Dusk, and they’re all clones
Yeah but that ignores why they didn't: They didn't feel like it and they ruled so they made the rules.
And that is why their Empire didn’t last 10,000 years

Was continuity a secret from their subjects?
Ordan Karris knew about it, at least, so I can't imagine it's too hard to learn about.
Like, would the average subject have known that Orokin body-snatched kids?
True
Part of the terror tactics, yeah
Idk, because the Orokin also wanted to be loved and worshipped. Fear was great, obviously, but they wanted the proles to think they were morally superior as well.
I think they might've? because in the old peace defense mission the palanquin says smth abt it
smth about if smth were to happen to the orokin within it is within their rights to requisition the nearest yuvan body
Oof
sry for quality grabbed it from a screenshot of vod from mobile
If an Archimedean is scared of what the Orokin do, safe to say the common nobody would be too.
that could also be because the Archimedean are the closest to the Orokin, whereas to the common folk they wouldn't even catch a glimpse of an Orokin? The way our operator reacted in that same defense mission sounded like they were excited to be personally guarding one of the Seven, a big important Orokin figure
Also consider the colony that was literally wishing and praying that the asteroid hurtling towards them would kill them (Atlas Leverian)
They just generally make everyone working under them miserable if they weren't hardcore indoctrinated anyway.
tbf, the Orokin don't exactly sound like they have the wellbeing of their subjects in mind at all
Of course not
But point is they could shoot you just because they're bored, notable or not.
to finish jade shadows?
Yes, actually
omg
i cant do this. i was not ready for these emotions. i have two kids of my own bro this stuff hits so hard
the orokin literally suck so bad i do not have words
Tbh, I don't really hate the Orokin. They were bad, but I wouldn't go as far as saying I hate them
But Ballas? Oh boy I hate that man so much. After Old Peace I feel like DE really wants us to hate him
According to Roathe, Ballas wasn't actually THAT BAD
which tells you about how bad they were
They killed children for immortality.
and for entertainment
Many of them deserve their skulls bashed in, plainly and simply. Who knows about the lower guys but Roathe himself even admits that The Seven were just irredeemable.
They actively chose to kill children.
I'll probably wait for lore videos to come I don't have the braincells to link every lore piece in the KIM and codex and stuff like that... lol (crying inside)
Reminder that the children the Orokin took as their bodies were the survivors of a gauntlet challenge that ended with a colosseum deathmatch
And the other are far worse with what Roathe mentions.
Ok now Y'all reminded me why I should hate the orokin. Ty, I hate them now. XD
Ballas is kiddie pool
I'm serious
I do have lots of trouble placing the lore together and I tend to forget lots of stuff
anyway yeah go check in with Teshin at the relay, then come back here
So casually talking like this does help a bit
I am reading it now...
done. wow. I am gonna build her. 🙁
It’s something they’re educated on
One of the Zariman tablets has a question on it
between this and his lines for Yareli Prime the issue of "is this civilization evil" is basically settled in my mind lol
what lore u guys talking bout now?
Destroying the Orokin Empire was a lawful good action
By the way, something I wonder about the Jade we build...
kinda wanna see if any wants to translate the new voidtingue lines from uriel
Wouldn't it be chaotic good
Yes it has the baby still
- What is 'kuva'?
A. Fluid with Void-derived capacity to conduct consciousness (correct)
B. The liquid remnants of departed Orokin saints
- How should you prepare for Continuity, if chosen?
A. Exercise, bathe, and keep my body pure (correct)
B. This is too unlikely to be worth considering
The warframe we build are like clones or replicas of the originals, right? So we are cloning the baby too
In general they were seemingly quite open about the nature of their rule
The blueprint was after Jade gave birth so no baby.
What?
But yes they're exact replicas
No thats why we have that extra auraslot
what court would convict for it
The court of public opinion
But our Jade still has that little ball thingy in her belly
It has the aura slot because of the energy ball thingy.
reminder that Jade's womb is empty in the quest after the birth
Ballas literally made her nurture the jade light inside it
Which is the baby
The baby was already born and she didn't change physically after giving birth besides dying
- What should public architecture celebrate?
A. Our understanding of geometry and physics
B. The proven superiority of tiered society (correct)
- What was the purpose of the Zariman Parades?
A. To raise capital for the Zariman expedition
B. To instil awe in those not chosen to participate (correct)
- What is your first priority if you are exposed to the Void?
A. Request the duty cephalon to seal off your environs (correct)
B. Call the Lorists, then immolate yourself at a thermo-cubicle
- By what right do the Orokin govern?
A. Through intrinsic superiority
B. This is a Forbidden Question (correct)
Realizing I created a war in this chat lol
No, you didn't
Warframe did
So technically the light inside of her is not an actual baby
Frame did*
its not particularly a problem for me personally as the questline is what it is and so even if the model shows the jade light baby in my head thats not "the baby"
John Frame
There's also the issue of "The baby would just be draining Jade's energy all over again if it was still the baby in there"
Correct, ones we build aren't pregnant
We aren't infinitely replicating babies from crafting a pregnant woman
The one we build can't even get pregnant
And other sentences I never thought I'd say
I think it’s not a baby for one simple reason
DE aren’t gonna have us fight using a pregnant clone of the woman who’s funeral we assisted with. (And Stalker def wouldn’t let us)
Or any woman really
Get no, but I don't imagine why it wouldn't be pregnant already if it was pregnant when the BP was created.
But it wasn’t
if
insofar as any warframe "isnt" the person it used to be
Understand: She haunts this place. Her might has marred the earth. She whispers in the sleeping machines. Through the disintegration of her flesh, she lives on.
In honour of my barren, Void-scarred womb, I entrust Jade to you.
So this may have been asked or answered before but I've been meaning to ask since the cavia came into the game.
When you start an isolation vault bounty gomaitru says 'find out what He has be up to'
Now I always assumed the he was either her believing her father was alive and down in the vaults or that the necroloid was doing something, is it possible she aware the real boy loid is down in the sanctum and has known all along
Not Loid, none of the family know he's alive
It's probably Albrecht or Wally-in-the-form-of-Albrecht
Albrecht. Albrecht has kept the family blind to what he's been doing down there
Marie will mean mug the hell out of you for not liking Entrati it seems
yup
But they all think he's dead, and she's just clinging to hope he's not
which is a big change from the Hex
Even where "down there" is, the iso vaults arent at the true location of his labs
Might have to go with Roathe if she can’t accept that 😭
Also was there any actual in game thing to say they thought real loid was dead
Doesn't mean they can't poke around to see what he left behind. They don't even know about The Calymos Sequence
mostly Necraloid's existence
And how far he goes to make sure they don't find out about Albrecht's labs
I feel like she say 'was doing' rather than has been upto
Cephalonization implies dead
Ok yeah that tracks
I really want this deal with roathe to go through now and see what happens if loid goes up there
I mean that's her father and she knows he's been doing weird stuff behind her back all the time
Of course I just mean the wording seems off if she dosnt know for certain he's alive, I (maybe we) don't know how much the family know about wally so wasn't sure if he'd be an option
She's gotta make up for lost time being Infestation-lobotomised too
Not sure how that's connected but ok
Albrecht doing things all while she's stuck bickering with the rest of the family before we helped them
A storyline in the game I would love to continue is the 1999 story and see how it goes
NON DESTRUCTIVELY!?!?!?!?!
That's the exception that tests the rule
The Orokin however are monsters
The expectation is that it's the result of a death
No
Thats the expectation if its used as a punishment
Roathe pretty clearly lays out that thats from Nihil’s program
every cephalon we've met except Loid is a dead person
Even the ones we know were volunteers, like Suda
hell Amir wants to be a cephalon
And Suda wasn’t done punitively, but to preserve her mind
in fact I think there was some implication that Simaris was a volunteer too
@fast dew Oh you're not in the community server anymore. 3 months late but wow, an explanation for Loid and Necraloid.
And yeah probably Simaris
Those don’t support the idea of it mainly being from capital punishment, only that there were willing death cases
anyway point is that when you see a cephalon you assume you're looking at a dead person until their original pops up
Yeah they live in a mostly destroyed infested moon, think they have plenty of reason to presume loid dead
Mhm?
Just thought it was cool
I suppose if they have the ability to transfer memories and personality then the should be able to copy paste them into a cephelon
Tracks
they always had access to Sentient-proof artificial intelligence
But they used it as a way to capture people's souls and consciousness and destroy both
Speaking of I would just like to once again state my hate for the fact they decided to bring up the “necraloids” lore again.
Like. They didn’t do anything with it. “Oh thats Necraloid. Well, a necraloid” “there’s multiple?” “No but there could be if someone made another” why would Drifter even think of that and bring it up if its not even a thing thats happened agdushshahsjsh
Nothing ever happens chuddie
Yeah i uh. Got sick of Voh's and the admin's shit. So i left. But yeah thats me. What's the explanation tho?
to be really accurate they need to be slamming the button on the right
The thing I replied too. Cephalons can be made non destructively if the participant is willing
Interesting. Well that's... good. So where the hell does the random duplicated skull fit in 😭
Still dunno that one
Did loid just want it done
Part two
Eternal for daddy entrati
No need to murder a clone of your boyfriend, but now we need to figure out what the skull is for
NAILED IT
It could just be Albrecht's form of love lol
Or entrati family members have their skulls cloned
oh my god
Cuz they just like bones
Intimidation
Normal sensors and faceplate? Boring. Uninspired. Tasteless
A sickass skull? Tasteful. Refined. Benevolent
Yeah 😭
Wait what skull?
(Benevolently)
The skull faceplate Necraloid has
Talk to Loid about Dante
Oooo
Thats a copy of Loid's skull
He mentions that Dante wanted a close look at the cloned copy of Loid's skull
Oh wait you meant the skull skull
Yeah I literally assumed it's for aesthetic
That is probably Loid's replicated skull that he talks about
Someone photoshop dark edgy goth/emo albrect
Maybe thats the Entrati way of like, honouring people
Probably is
Put their cloned skull on something
They loved bones
Wait would that mean Bonewidow has
Y’know
They have ossuaries and crypts
They loved bones
I hope so. That would be sweet.
The real reason Petrol was chosen over Quinn
Male entrati members and putting their lovers skulls on shit they like™
He shared in the appreciation for Bones
Need to put Euleria in trad goth shit actually
Cuddling your partner and admiring them from above, 'you have a great skull babe'
Nah nu goth I feel would suit better
This is probably something that both Euleria and Albrecht said to their partners
Hh, nah, thats daughter imo
Trad or romantic goth is definitely Mother
new thing to add to those tumblr polls of “which one of these things didnt happen in warframe”:
||you commit a school shooting but you’re lowkey right about it||
That is euleria right?
Albrecht ragebaiting the wifegivers when he didn’t like her that much by complaining about her skull
Mhm
Yis
I see trad goth as more of a motherly thing, maybe cuz the woman i was raised by was one?
I ship Fibonacci x Kaeli, she loves her fish, so it would work.
Do not the fish
honestly i think its the dreads thats making me see nu goth
I have mixed feelings about the entrati hair
add it to the list of orokin crimes
So very clearly dreads/locs but on... white people.
blue
it's okay, as a family, they stole African bodies
but i know what you mean
Like Ballas' was not the same
Wait, that's worse
Thats so much worse
That means they removed the ethnic features of those people 😭
They stole europan bodies*
something something, the true horror of zombies is that the work doesn't end when you're dead
Now it’s, slightly better
they have paid for the crimes by being stuck in them forver as mushrooms
Flowers
flesh-buds
They're flowers, grotesque ones, but flowers nonetheless
Bro what
oh man easiest layup ever
Unfortunately they weren’t lucky enough to be integrated (benevolently) into the Undermind
Fibonacci was Kaelli's pet goldnorg originally
Loid would love Euleria no matter her form methinks
Then Albrecht flushed it down the voidlet
How did umbra excalibur able to ´´refuse´´ the trasnference when we first get him? and how does the transference work for the warframes? when we first get him, he goes crazy and we appear a few steps in front of him invisible
Albrecht stole it 💔
Like he does for a lot of shit
The fact Albrecht probably stole cars
hes the first attempt and still has his own mind
Technically any Warframe can reject transference
Then we have answer to "Can the Orokin ever be forgiven." A big fat no, no orokin can be forgiven for stealing his granddaughter fish and flushing it
Umbra is "just" much more awake than most Warframes
Truly, one of the worst of all crimes
well the ones we use were never people since the replicas of the originals
this, plus even arthur during the prelude to 1999 felt someone else in his head and cast us out
Roathe must be saving bringing it up for last, when the family and Loid reunite
u mean that he is like an ´´proto´´? proto are the first version of an warframe right?
there's still something there
Protos are the step before full warframisation
That's why your Warframe wakes up during the Second Dream to destroy War and banish Hunhow
Tbf most people who've buried their hamster have probably buried it alive. Hamsters apparently hibernate.
Have you finished the quest? Umbra is able to reject the transference because he's ||been driven insane by the rage from the one memory he has, of Ballas forcing him to kill his own son||
wait really? but the warframes we craft (in universe) they can have consience?
i thought that was lingering transference
I can't remember how to spell hamster
They came a good while after the creation of warframe’s, just technically before because time travel
nope, the Warframe is proving the point that a Warframe is more than just an empty shell
That's the lore for why they all have unique animations, their original personalities are still there
fair
(also it's "conscious" not conscience)
Muscle memory
and the infested hivemind
The warframes we craft don’t (aside from a certain someone) , only like fragments of their mind
But yeah
i didnt see that, i mean, i though warframes were like armours and humans (drifter and operator) could use by using transference ( i think transference is an void power?)
they're much more than that
The infested hivemind goes beyond space and time
Transference is something anyone can do really, but it comes more naturally to the Tenno
english isnt my original langauge, i am portguese btw.
Originally a void power, replicable by tech
its like if your armour had some amount of sentience
Meaning every Warframe is connected to its original
bienvenidos
The Warframes are humans too, but transformed by serums
A food for thought, does the infestation 'store' memories of original warframes? what if those could be extracted and inserted into rebuilt frames like Jade? 🤔
? u must be kidding i assume.
Wait is this what Drifter is telling Roathe about in that one KIM?
Hampter Albrecht
is joke lol
Haven’t read it yet but saw a bit of it
So the Tenno are able to transfer into them and soothe them
extrapolation
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSTJulkDyQQ/?igsh=dWtla2FvajJ2c2U2
this is interesting
Was that The Lotus or the Man in the Wall speaking ? 🤔 #warframe #warframecommunity #warframetheoldpeace
Because Lizzie (the infested guitar) is in fact connected to herself in different alternate pasts and futures
as fas as i know, warframes are ´´upgrades´´ of an proto frame like arthur, temple ( which he send a message finding strange that there is an other version of him ( the actual warframe temple) with another lizzie)
second one reminds me of Teshin being held by Erra
no, incorrect
Nope
then what language does brazil speak?
I need to draw this actually holy shit
portuguese my dude, I already said I was joking
Gotta wait a few more days
just to be sure.
As I just said, Protoframes are a “step” before full on Warframes.
You get a guy, give them The Warframe Juice, stop the transformation before it completes. Bam, a Protoframe
So, what is the diference betwen an proto frame, warframe and prime warframes?
Gold
Primes are the luxury car versions of Warframes
Well. Its not "stop the transformation" its more "slow the transformation"
Primes are like luxury models
Warframes are production models and photo frames are like the concept
made by orokins?
You go in to buy a Warframe bodyguard and Ballas upsells you on the one with the luxury windows
primes are also supposed to be originals right
ALL Warframes are made by the Orokin, prime and not
Nup, not all of them.
pulling up to the hex in my red Gauss Prime with Ferrari badges on it
A prime warframe is just a warframe with even better tech and a fancy shell
no
Qorvex is made by albrecht
Same tech, but leather seats
and who made the concept? albrencht?
And Albrecht is an Orokin
@languid goblet wouldn't make sense with JadeShadows, since Jade wasn't a prime
Albrech is Orokin
Ballas
Designed. Not made. And Albrecht is still a orokin
Ballas created the first Warframes, Albrecht copied his work to design Qorvex
would ballas be considered an god then?
well we dont have prime jade yet 😂
Cept for Albrecht for some reason
Because for most intents and purposes they were
Join Ballas cult today, pray to his big hand
I feel like albrecht don’t fit the mold as orokin go. But it’s true nonetheless.
I don’t consider him to be like ballas or tuvul or nitokh
Well yeah but it had to have been like, halted at a point before it slows down, right? The way it sounds the protos didn’t exactly transform bit by bit
Thats just narmer
He doesn’t, but ultimately he still is one
then they are just an bunch of aliens that think they are good bcs they are immortal?
loid is also orokin
They were humans
Humans
Narmer ? I don’t even know her!
So true 🤣 also, why is DE obsessed with hands? Ballas has big hand, Parvos has gold hand...
They are still transforming actually. It seems that the loop doesn't fully contain it.
Nope, just an Orokin’s lover and servant
Nah, just a regular manservant. Made to serve Archimedians.
Yes, as I just said I mean before it slows down
The Orokin were rich and famous humans who figured out how to become immortal
So they did and took over Earth
ballas is an orokin and orokin are human?
no hes orokin because hes frome that time, roathe calls him an orokin im sure
Oh you mean orokin era person
roathe calls him orokin
He is from the orokin era, but he isn't a orokin
He aint, you might be thinking about Albrecht
that's one thing that puzzles me, the war within suggests KUVA is connected to wally but that is necessary for immortality
It had to have been going at the normal speed and then stop doing that, because otherwise they would’ve just had like, a frame leg and went from there
the same way you're a member of your religion, nationality and ethnicity, the Orokin were members of the Orokin caste and racial group
Since the warframes can have archon shards inserted in them do u think they emit radiation naturally
Hello to you too
It’s a substance with Void properties, which is how it “conducts consciousness”
interesting question, probably not?
didnt used the right one. but, orokin isnt an race but they are an ´´religion´´?
I think the radiation is (mostly) absorbed into the Warframe, like when Lotus consumes the shards
yeah but there was no void study OR void properties prior to Albrechts journey, so I always assumed there was no continuity before Albrechts discovery
They’re a Caste/Class
They're a caste
They'd studied the void, just didn't think there was anything to it
yeah it is logical though I always figured out they got kuva from wally's finger 🤔
Consider
They had Kuva
Didn’t know Void stuff
So didn’t know about how it had the properties
Anyway, so:
Warframes: supertech supersoldiers
Prime Warframes: LUXURY supertech supersoldiers
Protoframes: People who have been mostly Warframe'd
I did the math on qorvex and his crucible would have to have an element that’s atomically 3x heavier than uranium or plutonium
So if loid wanted to, he could've just become one if he married Albrecht. But he didn't. Their relationship seemed to be seen as taboo
probably more tbh
For him to nuke enemies
The issue is that the Orokin have alchemy
Are we counting enriched or raw elements?
Which blends principles into elements too
Did we ever get origins of Kuva? On how it came to be?
not yet
Nup, but it does predate wally iirc
That should be part of this arc
I’d say like uranium 237?
What if it's just wally's blood from the finger then?
can't be
If it predates wally, it wouldn't be
Pre finger and pre-wally
dang. if warframe story had a movie, i would expect at least 10
The Orokin had continuity centuries or milennia before Albrecht opened his void portal
It also just randomly pops up in clouds so like
Kiva would be a foundational thing most likely
Like how elements are
but it is clearly connected to the void somehow, since the war within would suggest that
though, uhh, the Orokin also technically had access to time travel
Soooooooo maybe a small bootstrap paradox
Yes. The connection is in it’s properties. Doesn’t mean it has to originate from it, or a specific thing from it
also, about the topic time travel, who else have besides orokin, albrencht and kaya (she does have right?)
The void existed way back in 1999, way back in xx99
the care the writers have taken to avoid bootstrapping in other aspects of the lore suggests that there's a technical limitation there.
Possibly yes, but unless we get actual info about Kuva, then yeah. But you are right, I guess kuva was a thing before Albrecht journey
Through Protea, Parvos Granum has it
Also here's some food for this chat.
How does void work in 1999 when there's no heart at that current time?
Also I have a feeling about the lotus
She’s super hesitant regarding Wally, like something about the fact she doesn’t say much about him feels off
Like of all people who would know something for sure she seems like a valid candidate
Yeah, although it's not really... "real" time travel I wouldn't say.
I don't trust the lotus
protea? the warframe?
correct
Mhm.
Her 4 controls time
Parvos seemed to have stolen it from the entrati family
It's how the end of Deadlock Protocol happens
Just a thought but I would wager she has made a deal of some type and she can’t back out just like us. Essentially dug a grave
i thought it was gifteed to him
Wsan't Protea Prime trailer explain about protea and her abilities?
We're about to go into Parvos's safehouse and elminate him, and Protea reverses time to make it so that Parvos never breaks out
Parvos 'purchased' Protea from Ballas, technically
how Parvos had her built, specifically
She was, but the tech likely wasnt.
Ballas created protea for parvos, I assumed it was some sort of deal between the two
It was. "Child of two fathers" yeah i see you parvos
"My desire is well known to you" YEAH OKAY PARVOS
"The Entrati violated time and I have violated them" - Parvos.
the deal was that Parvos had enough money to forcibly buy a custom Warframe from Ballas
nah fanart of parvos favouring protea as a child over Nef
Could you imagine the down payment for that sucker?
Would any money be enough to buy off one of Executors? Ballas was too high up the ladder for that to just be bought with money. I think it might have been something else, like the knowledge Entrati had or something (Parvos does know Void tongue)
Aside from the Orokin I’m fairly certain the Archimedeans, Dax and maybe Lorists (Identical twin healers) were considered castes, and the Tenno are also referred to as one
Grineer were likely a bottom-rung caste, though maybe they weren’t formalised like that
There was also a full blown society beneath the Orokin too, with wealthy people, poor people, merchants with whole big ships like the Orokin-era Ostrons and who knows what else, so there were probably a bunch more for them too
The apr on a Warframe
Absolutely
Parvos managed it
It's one of the reasons the Orokin hated him
Unfortunately thats uh, quite far from the devs intentions for her
He just made that much money
The Orokin couldn't ignore him
And uhhh yeah she's based on a middle eastern maid
that's why her base form has the veil
It’s like walking into a dealership with gold bars for clothes
Protea's file name is Odalisk
still seems far fetched that Ballas created Protea for money, I think there was more to it. Besides if board of corpus could assassinate Parvos, the orokin could do so most likely if they wished it. Hard to say what their deal really was and what parvos really paid ballas with for protea
Entrati brain worms
No, very different
Help me
Turkish concubine/servant woman
Don’t search it up without blur on if you don’t wanna see naked woman
they didn't want to though
Thank you for the warning 😭
He was useful
If i aint prepared for it, that shit does make me feel really sick
I didn’t realise it myself and accidentally posted a screenshot with the image in 😭
new discussion why is the Cavia sidebar link a C.u.k chair
... thats one of Albrecht's chairs
That or when parvos said "Entrati violate time and I in turn have violated them" he was already in posession of something from the Entrati family that Ballas would desire
Its used at desks
The corpus were doing a lot of war profiteering making other weapons for the Orokin. There could have been elements of the late nobility going on there where the merchant elite had gained enough control over the actual economy that they could exert real pressure.
Ballas already talks to the entrati family members
Well, Albrecht at the very least
Ballas didn't want it though
The Orokin were very hierarchical
Parvos always struck me as someone who exploits the desires of others to profit
He is exactly that
But Ballas didn't want time travel tech
He's a loan shark.
But I think Ballas wanted Entrati secrets, ones that he might have suspected that Albrecht never shared with him
He's hypocritical to his criticisms of Nef
Again, he didn't
In all his time on screen he never made a single play towards anything Entrati
Albrecht probably gave ballas something for the helminth strains he has
Ballas did not care about the Void that much
It is simple logic, Albrecht and Ballas talked but I doubt Albrecht shared everything with Ballas, the orokin never trusted each other.
Up to and including Deimos itself when he literally conquered the entire Origin System
yes but again
Ballas never did a single thing that indicates it
His entire interaction with Parvos is Parvos saying "build me this robot that I paid for"
Tbf for all he knew, Deimos was just an infested hellscape with nothing of value, and the infestation wouldn't be susceptible to Veils and I'm pretty sure they're a hard counter to Sentients
and we know the Orokin hated the Corpus because the Corpus had all the money
Which Parvos designed anyways, from what I understood.
True, I am making a hypothesis here however, that if Parvos had "violated entrati' it might refer to their knowledge so it might be something Ballas would desire, hence it could be an item of the trade as per tenets of corpus
true, we do not know what the item of trade was, only that deal to make protea existed
Just finished Jade Shadows, so is ||Bioplasma|| and ||Chortichrome|| just one-off items for that quest alone? I don't remember them from anywhere before and I feel like they prob won't show up again, which is kinda disappointing
Basically Parvos was Rebb and told Ballas (Pablo) what to do
Just lore things we learn can heal Warframes
They're probably fancier names for Bile, Oxides etc.
fwiw that's probably what the Helminth infirmary makes to--yeah exactly

I wonder if it would've been possible to save her if Stalker had let her be plugged into the Helminth or something
Probably not.
to be fair, its a bit of missed opportunity, it would be cool mechanic if we had random stalker OR jade show up
Not without scrapping and somehow merging the power source of another frame into Jade.
by design, no
Assuming that is even possible.
Isn't that just Subsuming
Warframes all had a single energy source, and Jade spent a thousand years transfering it to her child
Wait no, that's just a fragment of it, not the whole thing right
Bioplasma is a lore reveal of what you use to heal/revive other frames
Jesus, didn't realize it was for that long
so it was her or the child only
RIP Sirion
Oh, go check out Teshin in the relay
Theory: Does Helmnith archive memories of the original warframes? I mean, we DO rebuild umbra.
Though IIRC in an old quest Lotus mentions “revive systems” so ig thats how our frame revives without others/after timer
From before Night of the Naga Drums through to Jade Shadows
Speaking of Umbra
Not gonna lie I'm disappointed he just got sidelined after the Sacrifice quest
not a single Warframe has been plot relevant since their introduction
Despair
beyond the intial trio in Duviri
Sadly, yeah
Yeah, but Umbra also had the special Transference bolt so... maybe?
nah
Don't all frames have transference bolts?
Wonder when the Hex will be plot relevant again
No
I’m personally holding out on him getting something minor like, little idle stuff around the Orbiter one day, but at the same time I wouldn’t actually bet on it
I take umbra on every story quest
Homie gets a ticket to all destinations
Ballas installed a transference bolt so he could talk in Umbra's head
Canonically he does
Old Peace says no
Unfortunately
Even just as like, a purchasable decoration like the Domestik drones
Ah, makes sense
I mean, Ordis did call to him second in JS
So I guess it's implied he does his own stuff, we just don't see it
1999 too
Yeah thats what I meant, like actually getting to see some of that
Him playing on the shawzin or doing like, Dax kata
Maybe meditating or petting a Kubrow/kavat
That kind of thing
