The entrati family were messed up, but not THAT messed up
Their family tree aint a god damn ladder ffs
Welcome to Tenno lore news today we have the weirdest request and conversations up-to-date
The upcoming predictions are
Can't be weirder then Helldivers lore talks or rather more insane.
What do we have for upcoming predictions? We’re gonna go today with a rubric marine what are your predictions for the upcoming update?
Some people really don't get satire
I am predicting that I'll eat this shitty sandwich
I'll have to leave #spoiler-chat for a week so I don't get spoiled on their KIM convos
Doom lore talks get infuriating. "Oh the slayer gains power from demons" THAT'S THE CANON EXPLANATION TO HEALTH COMING FROM DEMONS YOU ABSOLUTE DOUGHNUT.
you'll probably also have to leave this chat
Doughnut
Yes, doughnut
Doughnut...
British spelling or whatever
Like dough... And nut...
Gonna remind you guys of smooth nef
Donut doesn't make sense to me.
wHY IS HE LIKE THAT
He kinda looks like ballas
Anyo without his clown makeup
Did y’all know that he actually like his way up to his position by just saying that he was a void prophet and everyone actually believed it
A clown without his makeup is just a man 💔
A man without his makeup is just a clown
Ordis is this true
I’m not lying he actually said he was a prophet and people believe them
Gay ass old man
As long as I get to look like a guilty gear character then yeah
Valid, that works
Albrecht got eyeliner, doc martins and piercings. Truly the peak manipulative bisexual
Why don't we pull Ordis to 1999 are we stupid?
If you know, he has extended nails, right he was like nail covers, girl jewelry girl ear piercings
Because the operator needs him for the ship to work
Nah he has "masculine" piercings. Whatever that could mean 😭
How isn't the drifters system going into shock from eating Pizza
He kinda has a good point though
I wanna know how Albrecht was paying for food
"masculine piercing" is it beer shaped or what
Corpus doordash
Did this dude just dine n dash or some shit??
Yes, he was ordering shitty corpus takeout
He probably robbed some homeless man gas station pizza
Cuz it isn't spicy pizza
That man has only eaten food cubes, whatever magical fantasy food in duviri for like centuries
funniest options are stealing or way overpaying with golden obols
A 20th century pizza filled with fat and grease is probably going to kill him
Hold on hold on how long was he in 1999 UN and everyone else calls him a war criminal bro what did he do during the years?
Its a pointless term as it usually doesn't mean anything, but masculine piercings are like. Everything but the lobe, dermals and lips. Its mainly the jewellery that makes em "masculine". Thick, not pretty.
I like to think he just stole stuff and ran
Origin System doesn't have 🍕 is the Origin System stupid for banning Pizza?
Stole pizza and hijacked cars
I HATE GENDER NORMS
Manufactured bs
Well, it is comforting that the orokin don't seem to care for them
-# one good thing the orokin did
They were more concerned about being classist asshats
There's one more good thing
Their weird technology allows me to paint my operator green
Yeah when you can just change your body at such a deep level
It gets pointless if you could just change your physical gender on a whim
Body modification is pretty cool
Surpass nature, make your right arm slightly longer
Kuva gender dysmorphia?
It doesn't matter if you're a man, or a woman, or a secret third thing, or a secret fourth thing
It's fine as long as you're blue
if you were green you'd die
lol
Calling the man in the wall at 3AM (gone wrong)
I do imagine that there was a orokin who deadass tired to off themselves to get a yuvan more aligned to themselves
And I’d bet a lil bit of racism as well
Extremely rare Orokin W: they were queer
at the cost of, like, everything else
What is a society without some form of discrimination
Have you seen how he dressed? He just hacked atms
You think they could’ve had like, scientific peasant/wealthy skin tone discrimination?
Like not judging based on the actual colour but how tanned the individual is for their colour, because of the old “darker/tan=peasant working in sun all day” + can’t afford body mods for skin protection or colour change
ever heard of green humor buddy
how did the kuva queens came to power?
they were at power initially
grineer are orokin slave force, and queens are just remnants of the orokin
so what purpose did they serve in during the orokin era?
ruling class, simple as
boring
the twist is that they were orokin in the first place
since those are all supposedly dead
The Tale of Two Sisters
#1 -
A Story once lost
Recovered by fate
The tale of two sisters
Who bore the same face
#2 -
Born one quiet morning
Amidst the great war
All elders were gathered
For this life's new dawn
#3 -
Confused and bewildered
They judged them amiss
For they never witnessed
Two self-same as these
#4 -
A mirrored reflection
Had come into life
By will of their father
Kept safe from the knife
#5 -
Their sameness was shunned
As slave-like and soiled
They tended their strays
Rejected by all
#6 -
As both Girls Matured
Their bond grew in depth
They had the same poise
Same senses, same strength
#7 -
The Uprising came
And Spread like a weed
An army of copy-men
Ferocious and Free
#8 -
And much like the sea
They came just like waves
For years they fought on
For years we remained
#9 -
Like chisel to stone
War molded the twins
Who ravaged the hordes
Became legend to them
#10 -
They had a deep strength
That came from Each other
Unlike all these copies
Identical, but not brothers
#11 -
The copies could see it
They yearned for it too
If the twins could do it
Perhaps they could too
#12 -
The twins had attained
Something more than a whole
A true understanding
Of each other soul
#13 -
The copies became believers
One by one bowed to the twins
And led forth by their new masters
They ravaged the colonies
#14 -
Now a power to follow
Not a force to be fought
From the ashes of war
The Twin Queens were wrought
how kuria-s 🧐
So I have an idea for a frame and she’s like a ribbon frame but idk if it just sound like a reused Khora, so her first ability is like her ribbons fly around her and cover and take damage in of her and then converts it to health or maybe damage for a melee. Her second ability is like a pin cushion that reaches out for enemies and sucks them in doing a little bit of damage as it does. Her third ability being ribbons come out of the sky and grab enemies pulling them about and doing slash damage. And then her fourth being like theses thread needles that more and more spawn the longer you hold until you let go and they go out everywhere or go to enemies and do slash and puncture damage, and maybe you can like mod them but not like a full weapon they have like 5 mod slots for them. And for like a passive you can have more than one emphemra and when you use her 2nd. And 3rd they do big damage or they do something cool… so uh any thoughts…
Well when I first thought of her I was thinking her 3rd would be like Khoras strangle dome
Oh, actually
closer to Garuda, not sure why i thought of nezha first
i like the idea, i imagine needles could work like a very wide range primer
@stray karma ping because you wanted thoughts
I like the gif
I also thought that because of seeking talons
I like that idea
Doesnt have to be limited in modding
can maybe have lower crit but good status chance
the real question is what weapon mods would it use
and im not sure if it should be melee
Well I was think for a weapon she could have a bow and the arrow has a needle skin
it has a very high amount of projectiles, maybe it could be a shotgun
oh, i meant the moddable needles!
Oooo like shotgun mods
like fulmin alt mode
small, silent and precise
So old lore was the Braton was a Corpus gun??
yeah initially it had corpus markings and text
Oh interesting
just like Boar was a grineer weapon
and gotva prime is supposedly an orokin grineer weapon?
Or how Snipetron got discontinued
Or how Furax is still a Grineer weapon
Just some ancient weirdness with the lore
gotva prime is the prime grineer weapon. Back when they were directly under Orokin servitude
it still is, they use it in old peace
thats what i said think? or is there a distinction btwn orokin grineer and prime grineer
oh sorry, i thought you wanted confirmation/clarification
yeah thats what you said yourself
"Prime Grineer" isn't a thing
Lots of Orokin tech was lost to time
well thrax use a corrupted variant of it, something to do with them i imagine
do we know whats up with the thrax?
like they're like allies of wally or like minions but like
theyre minions of Thrax
Dominus Thrax?
yeah
Lodun in his missions rants a lot about how they are a new elite unit that he doesnt like
but what about the ones on the zariman or lua
he talks like its Thrax's idea, otherwise its not very clear where they are coming from
Not anymore at least
ahhhhhh so maybe thrax just found some thrax willing to cooperate or something?
But i’d like to point out that the Noggle from the tennocon relay is literally named “Prime Grineer” so
Yeah that's where I got the name from
Grineer in their Prime died with the Orokin
Prime Grineer... i wonder if they're will be Prime Corpus
I just hope that with Old Peace there'll be a non-corrupted version of Hespar
actually thats unlikely that there'll be Prime Corpus
No I mean in general. Those were just the Grineer before clone rot destroyed them, and I really doubt the Orokin would want to give Prime stuff to the people they despised, carbon-copy clones
Nah, Corpus were an Orokin rival
The Grineer still use Bolkors and Firbolgs today
Those weren’t made up out of knowhere
You see them in the intro cinematic
thought so, plus weren't corpus like farmers or such?
Therefore there was prime tech used by the grineer
They just obviously can’t make that anymore
Parvos was
You can say Protea is a prime corpus creation
Started out that way, then Parvos went “hmm yes everyone can become rich”
The person who founded it was a farmer
Velox is blue, protea is orange, so it's a corpus weapon
Parvos went full pyramid scheme i think?
His symbol is literally a Pyramid
I aspire to be Parvos one day
Parvos as much as he roasted Nef is just as bad
Yeah
Parvos was more about ulterior motive rather than outright greed
He empowers others to then profit off them
His whole thing is about desire so like
Nah\
Actually what I'm talking about
Scrooge's wealth was all tied up in the materiakl
He literally has a golden hand
Sounds kind of greedy to me
But he’s greedy in a smart way instead of hogging things like a bloated dragon
parvos isnt about the material, he's about a different kinda wealth
Yeah he's an intellectual hoarder
He’s sort of about everything even
the kind that lets you walk up to the most powerful man in the system and ask him to make you a warframe
he's also actively leeching off the resources from the sanctum
after robbing the arguably most powerful family in the system
I’ll make it if you stop blowing up my Warframes type thing
he's described as a robber baron isn't he?
Parvos’ first crime was literally stealing
I remember seeing somewhere that there were elites above the 7
Although that probably isn’t true since i think i saw that on the wiki
yea thats not true lol
thats someone thinking that the reference to the Seven emperors isnt somehow the same as the Seven executors
Goofy ass
Yeah i just checked their references and they don’t even indicate that there’s a difference
Yeah
Welp I guess that its time to change the wiki again
Someone’s probably going to put ut back
The wiki still says that the Zariman was used first, then the sentients
Even though it was sentients first and then the Zariman was sent because the Orokin got impatient
(Orokin moment)
Tbh the lore for which is first is hidden in an interview which most players in the wiki don’t read
Damn
which interview is that
also i thought zariman being sent 2nd was info found in game
I’d have to look as there was many interviews after Tennocon
or well indicated based on other info
Zariman being first is more what the game implies than second
We aren’t told what is first in game
We only got the answer from the interview
you sure? cause i could've sworn it was mention in one of the simaris entries on the sentients creation
What the interview answer said was
Sentients were sent
Orokin got impatient
Zariman was sent
Simaris entry doesn’t say Sentients were sent first
We didn’t have a concrete answer till Tennocon
i mean we really didnt given its a logical assumption that the sentients went first then the colony ship
Which I always challenged with "if the sentients were building a rail, why did they bother to use a ship that could get there faster"
because then the answer would be, as truth would have it, an irrational answer: someone got impatient
Therefore:
Orokin moment
Yup
As for the simaris thing that was mentioned
The sentient creation log mentioned "other failed ventures" to reach tau, and since the only other one we knew of was the zariman it was assumed that zariman would have happened first
Even in the truth of the situation, the Zariman was always intended to arrive before the sentients, so any arguments that the orokin had the sentients go first to prepare tau for the Zariman was always going to be false
Ig it’s time for someone to update the silly wiki
Did Jade save Stalker during the Orokin massacre from the Tenno? There’s an image of Jade protecting Stalker from Exaclibur and I was curious on that, unless that’s some guardian Angel thing every time he tries to hunt a tenno
yeap
Seems the Zariman is the plan Tuvul is talking about here, and the Sentients are like "Hey why don't we send these ahead of the ship to prepare it for the colonists? I'm sure it'll work out."
I mean the zariman would then have failed according to that sentence, and couldn't have been something the Sentients were preparing tau for
The plan as far as i understand is reaching tau, then followed by "countless other failures" which we know the zariman to have failed
Interesting
Doesnt sound to me like the zariman was planned to be used in tandem
And in fact it wasnt thx to the interview
It was orokin impatience
"This is taking too long lets try something else" rather than "let's use these two projects together"
ok so this begs the question wtf were the other attempts at this
the gif
lmao
i will not bear the shame
Maybe there's a normal rocket ship still slowly heading towards Tau to this day...
i seriously doubt that it sounds too safe for the orokin
I mean Albretch in his like logs talk about how they need to go to a different system at somepoint.
So I can imagine a lot of random tries to get to tau.
There was multiple zariman, all but 10-0 were unmanned
What happened to them
?
We don't know. Presumably failed
Unless they want to say the earlier Zariman were actually just the Sentients later
Interesting
Actually its what the tennocon noggle is called
Bruh
So there is precedence but it sounds stupid
Completely forget about that stupid thing
Either way it still just means Orokin made Grineer which would obviously be better than modern day Grineer
Wait if they failed t f did we do cuz I know for a reason we did not go through hell and got expected results
I mean we got cool powers apart from the life lasting trauma
Right I keep forgetting that was the point
Cool powers we couldn’t handle and blinded a woman with
Cool powers we killed our parents with
Prime time entertainment for Wally though
Munches on some bones as he laughs at the chaos
Skill issue
Its true tho we didn't have the skill soooo...skill issue
cool powers we mutilated a random orokin military officer with
(see ember prime codex entry)
margulis as well
Cool powers we also used to exterminate a whole race of "people" (orokin)
Why dis Mara lohk look so mad 🤣🤣
huh
Void Tounge
Similar to how in Harry Potter they say Mud blood as an insult
Mara is also the Dev Operator for de btw iirc
and yes Mara Lohk means "Void Something"
(we're not 100% on what Mara means)
Void K*ddo
!report
how likely is it that Mara is void tongue for demon? The Operator is referred to as mara lohk by a few sources. Lohk meaning void means "void demon" is a strong possibility
demon being another thing the operator gets referred to
I personally think it means child
0 days since the last mara post
good
Lots of people assume it means child rather than demon but nothing concrete and either is frankly likely
Hmm
Ka- is the negative prefix, right?
So if Mara does in fact mean 'demon'
Then Kamara Lohk could mean Void Angel
Adult Angel
Void adult
right
Void non-child
Void Adult lol
Drifter
I mean, yes
Except Mara Lohk apparently still applies to Drifter
That would be funnier though
Just need clarification
was this wally
and what the hell happened aftere
Personally i think albrecht just learned voidtongue like an old gay wizard that he is
Kalimos is too chill for it to be wally
I thought that scene was meant to be an implication of Wally finally catching/possessing Albrecht because we were late.
Well if he was caught caught then we just lost.
Timelines?
If Eternalism works the way I think it does, wouldn't that mean that Albrecht doesn't get caught in every timeline?
on the chair
Nah he’s in a tunnel
- We wouldn't care about those timelines because it's not ours.
- There's just the one Wally that exists outside of time, it's not like he's spreading around doing random things (that matter to us) in other timelines
As that one kid in class said:
"My head hurts..."
How do you think it works?
If it's not our timeline, it's irrelevant.
Warframe players almost never actually get Eternalism right
I ate the sandwich and I decided not to
I thought it was just generic multiverse-theory. In that there's a timeline for every choice/action.
"Her parents will survive, her parents will die."
The sandwich came back to kill me
Did you defeat it?
theoretically accessible
She also pretty much says "yeah the only reason this is something we even care about is because of the Void"
I did hear the "theoretically accessible" part, I'm just too dumb to understand exactly what that means.
Looks like a draw to me
1:1
It means it just doesn't really matter in 99% of contexts.
It's like how we have theoretical physics
Means there's some infinitesimal chance to access them, so labelling them as inaccesible would be technically incorrect even tho it effectively is
Players use it to solve problems they don’t know how to solve without understanding the whole theoretically accessible means you aren’t gonna be able to use it anyway
it's like how you can theoretically quantum-phase through a 4-meter thick concrete wall
So, basically it doesn't really matter cause the only thing that can make other timelines accessible is enough screwing around with the Void.
yep
And even then that's stupid rare with a whole 1 time it happened to our knowledge
3
1999 is just the past
I assume you're meaning Albrecht and Teshin
I know 1999 is the actual past, but I thought time-travel fell under the same boat.
I mean
Drifter
Baro
Eleanor nun thing
Oh yeah the nun thing. Baro I'm not sure on since that was just the usual Wally deal stuff
Definitely still Void muckery
It's the exact same thing we did
if we're an example then Baro is
Yeah but I'm specifically talking about accessing other timelines
Which was what Drifter did moving out of theirs into ours
It's Void shenanigans without necessarily going around through timelines to do it
I always thought of it like
Drifter is from the void in our Operator's dimension but was locked in Duviri thanks to the paradox, like living in a neighbour but isolating yourself unintentionally
There is only one Void that connects time, so the analogy is sorta right
In the Void the Drifter and Operator exist separately, but in Reality they're one and the same
The Murmur munch on possibilities right? i forget what albrecht said abt them
Drifter and Operator are different people same soul or smth like that according to Wally Rusulka
no he made a comment during the first hex quest about the murmur pouring in during the confrontation with wally/rusulka
Same Void signature
......im getting the distinct feeling that i messed up w quincy. badly.
i chose the dialogues that my oc would say, not me... oof.
pretty sure you're fine for now
that doesn't strike me as messing up that badly
checked kimulacrum, ||you're good. just a boolean for some choices later(?)||
||also oh god one of quincy's convo flowcharts is a nightmare to navigate||
They were literally the same person but their paths diverged, they’re the same “soul”, same biologically but where they differ is how they grow, what they experienced and who they became
I know
Like they are both the same person and different people in literally the same way that an alternate universe version of you is the same person, yet different
(second stage) Neci Rusalka: "Two identical souls raised in such different environments. Haven't you figured it out yet? [laughs] You're fascinating."
Identical cause they were the same soul lol
I'm curious, what exactly haven't we figured out? Are we meant to know?
Like is there something that was foreshadowed?
Or is it meant to refer to that statement itself?
Wally got to stop acting like we know we don't get the point 😭
Anyone know what that sound was?
sorry, i was crawling in the walls
Warframes are made of Helminth, right?
Then why do they get infected... by Helminth... and grow a cyst?
yeah idk how much lore those little cysts have
other than a weird connection to helminth and nidus
it looks a little more like the general strain, opposed to helminth, though
that's all i have
They also exist as a way to get the Helminth Charger pet
But it doesn't make sense for a biomechanical golem that is made of Helminth, to then get infected by Helminth and grow a cyst
Only for you to take it to the Helminth which then stabs the cyst and inoculates the Warframe... against Helminth
Also, where did the cyst thing originate from? A specific kind of Infested?
I know you catch it from other players who have it but who was Patient Zero?
It was an event, wasn't it?
Tbf
We are made of these cells and yet sometimes we end up getting weird growths made of our own cells too
And I'm not even mentioning the obvious like cancer
excess i assume, it gets overloaded and a cyst forms but it exists in a way that saps needed energy, so therefore it is likely why its malignant
Ah yeah, like warts or HPV.
"Space Aids"
Helminth gave us Space Aids
Yeah or it's like mosquito bites, like Nidus has a different "blood type"
looks like the cysts started existing at the same time as, or shortly after, nidus was added
then they were addressed in patch notes when introducing the cure
From how I see it
Yes they're made from Helminth strain
But it's still them getting injected with an abundance of extra stuff right in the neck
Which is why the cyst probably forms, just because they may have similarities, it's still a foreign spot to suddenly add more stuff.
so nidus being able to spread the cysts by default would be the "patient zero"
Ah yeah, the obvious answer lmfao
also this is pure idea stuff, but im curious, considering how Transference works, would it be possible for ANYTHING that has had contact enough with the void to theoretically be able to transfer to warframes, or anything with a transference bolt? ie; non-tenno to a frame if theyre tied enough to void? or is there a lore thing specifically in place telling us why tenno specifically are the only beings in existence able to control frames(besides subdjucation)
I'm stupid sometimes
Obviously it would have been Nidus 😂
The dude could walk into the Helminth room without having a cyst on his neck
And he turns into his high mutation stacks mode when you do
There is a measure of property transience (is that the term?) when it comes to doing void shifting stuff, as noted by, I believe it's Kaya when she's figuring out time travel. It's why the Tenno don't lose their clothes when they're Transferencing
It would be funny if you could throw someone into a Warframe and trap them in it lmfao
The reason Tenno can use Transference so seamlessly without any issues is because they're basically weird Void beings at this point. To them it's as natural as breathing.
And the reason they can control frames so easily is because they "Take away their pain", they help the warframe's sanity and in return pilot the body.
Yea, thats why im wondering if other Void beings could harness frames, or be locked into one theoretically. Like imagine a Void angel suddenly is able to use a frame, or a Sentient has a frame
Void Angel Warframe would be insane
sentient with a frame would be disasterous aswell
A Void Angel shifted into a Warframe attempting to destroy it, and ends up fusing with it
helping the warframes insanity? nah, warframe fixing YOUR insanity
Time to make my theoretical OC idea since the devs havent disproven this/hj
Probably not
Or rather not those examples you gave
Void angels are insane and probably don't have the reasoning to think to get into a frame
Meanwhile Sentients don't need frames
They technically have their own "warframes" which are giant mecha sentient suits
very true
Sentients are also capable of hijacking Warframes I think. Isn't that what happened with Chroma in The New Strange?
They CAN?
transference is not an innate void ability (see silver grove and silvana transferring into a whole damn forest)
others can figure out how to do it, we just have a very easy way to do it
Chroma isn't really explained tbf. he's just rogue w/o a tenno controller
Also, Mutalyst Alad V hijacked a Mesa with an infested collar I believe
ahhh
morphs into forest 🌳
Aye, honestly those older quests really don't explain much
I hope DE revisit some of them and make stuff more clear
Oh
He did something worse
He figured out how to basically make a Warframe "Infested"
Void Angels have that attack where they kick you out of your Warframe and trap it in a cage, would be neat for that to be used as lore for that idea
Excaliber Umbra also is a unique case aswell, considering hes a still sapient & sentient Frame that is fine with us messing with them
Lmfao the 'Helminth infecting Helminth' thing again
SINCE WHEN(i have yet to be messed with like this 💀 )
they did change some dialogue in Once Awake in koumei & the five fates (iirc), so its definitely possible
Man it happens to me all the damn time
You probably kill them before they have a chance to do so
im going to go back to doing story stuff and stopp accidentally spoiling myself i think 💀
More like figuring out how to make a frame fully join the infested
My Operator is no slouch but it's so annoying when it keeps happening
probs a good thing then 🫡
What part of the story you up to?
Uhhh, just finished Sacrifice, startin Prelude.
Oh cool
Ah yeah you wouldn't have met any enemies with that ability
I just had this weird urge to question that stuff because theres no disproven stuff on that
I think that agreement is a mix of 'You helped me get revenge, I'll serve you' and 'You eased my pain and I'm forever thankful'.
God, Umbra is such a good character and I wish DE did more with him he had no business being absent in New War
I hate that ability
But I love that idea
Just a fair word of warning, often things will get explained in later quests
That's why I picked him as my Warframe in New War.
Just before you continue, someone here hasn't done New War yet
I was even using my Drifter to shoot enemies while Umbra backed me up
-# his arc was over tho, he accepts what happened at the end of his quest. no more story to tell
im off tho
Yes
But people are addicted to their precious buffs, so Umbra got trashed by the players over that one little bug
ignore this and yap im going back to bug my friends who dont play
not anymore
Hehe
Yes, go finish the story! Get caught up! Then come back with any questions!
Beware, there are forced stealth sections. They aren't hard but they are there
Also if you get Bugframe'd and can't progress you can put in a support ticket and DE will pull you out of the quest and mark it as complete
They recently made it replayable too so you can go back after the fact
gets stuck at the start of the sacrifice
🫡 ty for the warning, def noted
Which is kinda bull bcs like. Umbra still has base excal's passive, don't he?
Yes
But that matters little when you rely on 20 different other buffs
Why I don't worry about buffs with Umbra
Or most ever, but that's just my gameplay style
it dont rlly matter thooo
It can work narratively though
The Warframe goes limp multiple times because the Operator transferences out of it, but each time that happens, Ballas is around. Ballas can compel Umbra to stay down and do nothing
Also I don't think Umbra can attack Ballas
He could stab him with our help
Dax can't hurt a orokin, or like. Must obey an orokin?
Which is why the rebelling dax in the old peace is so interesting.
Ballas operation
yeah
is still my thought.
AT IT AGAIN
Thinking its ballas, as he's really the only one that would do that
WELL only one.
i still think we will meet lotus for the "first" time at the end of the old peace.
Most likely probably they're attacking the sentients and everyone stationed on Perrita
Which I guess doesn't count
Eh, could pull some bullshit saying one of the other 7 helped
Specifically the unknown 2
i am calling the end of the old peave
peave
Peave
is we see Lotus and she goes "hello tenno i am your new handler"
you go "you look like marigulus"
Still wonder where roathe fits
well in his own thing
Like. Yeah he's apart of the triad but like
Weird thomas suspicion that he is involved with Tau
Probably was trying to get into whatever Entrati was doing there
Or trying to stop him
Maybe bluebrecht could've been at tau? Maybe that's how we find him? Find Albrecht blue version and figure out what he's doing there, to figure out what white boy Albrecht is going to tau for?
Crack Theory: After 1999 Entrati traveled back in time again to the Tauron station to do some research and try to escape to a place he thinks Wally cannot touch without messing up everything
ONE
MORE
DAY
But i did say they wouldn't make the triad use the sanctum pc for their kimchats, yet that happened
They take turns on the internet
Delusional thomas is convinced Roathe doesn't have a kim chat bcs he can't leave and rather the third is Loid's
I just feel bad for loid
Bro's safe space is being invaded by the constant reminder of the shit Albrecht hid from him
I mean
Did he think the Orokin top scientist and researcher wasn't going to be that Orokin
I mean
Albrecht has never really seemed very orokin from the get go
And also
Regardless of the status of Albrecht's caste, Loid can still feel upset about that 😭
Tragic Old Man Yaoi
Tom spotted
how can i get hex true ending
build your relationship with them
Gotta do their kimchats and rank up the syndicates
what rank it needs to be?
rank 3 syndicate, i think Liked for them individually?
idk you'll know when the cutscenes start playing
ZARIMAN JUMPSCARE
i see
Hyd
Tired, sore, but overall im doing good
Y’all someone ping me when 191 starts I have terrible memory
what's yalls fav grineer
i unironicaly based a good chunk of my grineer warframe concept on her
my fav is
I don't have one
The rest of the Orokin were just jelly that he had better drip then the weird blue skin elongated arm thing the rest of them had going on
My brain hurts
Earlier in the other server I had to answer basically the entirety of New War in 14 questions
He looked just like them once
Yeah but then he realized that fit was kinda weird and lame so he bucked the trend and did something better. Everyone has to go through a awkward but trendy phase before they truly master the drip
He only changed to blend in to 1999
Probably but I'm choosing to believe he was fashionably innovative
He didn’t even give up with Kuva straight away he said the thought was minute then swelled larger in the latter days
Fatbrecht
Apparently wore blue at some point too, although the void logs look like he's wearing the usual orokin robes
Different blue
He was blue to at least duviri
Or, had the hair
Its a safe assumption that he was still blue if he had the hair
Maybe did continuity like once or twice more
Sentient™
its just sentients
caliban has that one too
fair, hes so cool looking
Lowkey what are the chances he just changed his skin tone and bleached his hair 😭
It's seen all over in Narmer stuff, Erra doesn't have it before TNW. Main theories lead to it being some form of Kuva that enhances Sentients provided by Ballas
What happens if you bleach hair?
sentient core™
it gets paler?
... it gets thinner and the melanin or whatever thats in the hair follicle (?) Gets like. Idk. Screwed? I've bleached my hair so often and i don't actually know how it works
Its pretty easy, but pretty easy to mess up
However, he must've been baking that hair for so long, going black to white/silver
or it just greyed from stress
It does have some grey in the portrait iirc, but im not sure if its lighting or not though
Like. It looks to be lighting?
Can people with grey hair still dye it to another colour?
First part isn't even necessary since he lost a lot of his skin and the legally distinct bacta tank probably restores to original condition
yes?
you bleach your hair before dyeing it anyways
They can, they just need to be more careful
Grey hair is easier to damage
Narmer mirrors, prolly work to hypnotize
They're in his eyes too
Mm, probably this. Lost skin but retained the hair? The lady im duviri who sells us stuff has a line about Albrecht's hair looking like coiled snakes
"The lady who sells us stuff"
Im throwing my phone onto the traintracks.
Arthritis
Her name is acrithis so I say arthritis
So like. Hair retained but skin gone? Usually the hair comes with the skin lmao
no kalymos emote..... messed up!
Which of you gave Acrithis Arthritis?
Both gone
Me, my joint pain is transferable
Transference level stuff right there
Cant run much longer. I cast LATERAL MENISCUS TEAR ‼️
How does a Cephalon run?
electric legs
Does a cephalon dream of electric legs?
Do Cephalons dream?
Doubt they even sleep tbh
What if they dream to dream
Defragmenting
ask loid lmao he tells you specifically if cephalons are supposed to
Human or shell?
Wait like the arg thing? Ascloid?
how does it work with human loid and cephalon loid, like how can they both exist
Necraloid is a mechanical copy of Loid
not a Cephalon, if anything it's kinda the opposite
Loids skull was replicated
He says "Constructs do not dream"
as he is not a Cephalon
Otak is a Cephalon tho
He is referred to as construct over cephalon by folk who would know more about his creation
I think like. Drifter is the only one to say cephalon now?
i see
necra
You aint the only one who is curious to it.
Necraloid is tho
Necraloid is not a Cephalon. It is a construct copy of Loid
Drifter: Kind of. Necraloid is a Cephalon copy of Loid, who’s still alive. But even if a Cephalon isn’t the original, they’re still people.
yea so
Ehh
I mean, drifter says Albrecht has kids (plural)
Which... isn't true as far as we know
Unless they mean Vilcor as a son in law?
Or my personal favourite
Roathe is Albrecht abandoned kid
Hm, weird
Remember Drifter isn't the best for information, they can be assuming things
BUT. Given it is said by the pom-2 system in the labs, it has more weight
actually lets scroll back to this
which convo is this?
In a lettie convo, mentioning Albrecht's ex-wife too
Im at the "Entrati's had [hankypanky]?" bit with eleanor
LMF9A
IIRC. also in a convo with Eleanor
Yall its a lettie convo 😭
her response being "ALBRECHT HAS A FAMILY???? ALBRECHT HAD SEX!??????"
God that one w Eleanor is funny
there we go, wife kids, grandkids
So like. Counting vilcor as a "kid" to Albrecht? Roathe cracktheory or typo?
wait fire edit idea
Roathe singing Dagothwave
This is still my favourite Dagothwave video
Credit to youngscrolls, the true tonal architect
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR-K2rUP86M
Sadly, Dagothwave isn't a a real chart for Guitar Hero World Tour yet. This video was made by editing together clips of performances from three different songs:
Eye of the Tiger - Survivor
Livin' on a Prayer - Bon Jovi
Beat It - Michael Jackson
Check o...
live on stage for you
I had some scribbles of Roathe that aren't worth posting but now i need to go back and change his hair and eye colour
I think why Roathe still looks a bit weird to me is that he has normal eyes, not the whitened eyes Orokin usually have
Huh?
Orokin have whitened irises and pupils, part of their fashion trend
Only exceptions are Amalgam Ballas and Roathe
Even Albrecht?
yes
his eyes are not as white in 1999, likely similar to how he has much less blue skin too
That’s not the model they used in 1999
Or well it is
But they changed his eyes for it
oh yeah true in 1999 he has pretty much normal eyes
he also looks to have no blue tone left in his skin too so
seems he went all-out to blend in
comparison
They changed his eyes! Go play whispers again and look at the pom-2 recording of him
Orokin Albrecht did
Amalgam Ballas has red eyes instead, plus one of them seems to be prosthetic, so he doesn't look as odd
Roathe just has a perfect blue Orokin face with normal eyes
okay well he has black schlera actually nvm
still looks very different
like idk he kinda looks more like a Drifter using Refacia skin tones rather than an actual Orokin yknow?
tokyo ghoul reference
The lighting is skewing the colour, he actually looks like this
Is there a Lore about Vauban? I'm interested to learn more about him
Made to infiltrate and destabilize the Corpus, essentially
So only his Prime introduction is his only lore hahahah
"must crush capitalism"
He looks very pale though, operator/drifter can also be similar kind of pale with the orokin skin colours
Was Arthur in whispers in the walls changed to use his new model after 1999? Or he still uses his old model
He got a new model?
Here's old and new, if you remember back when whispers in the walls released he didn't have the military rank patch and also lacked some accessories he has today
Huh
It’s not a new Model it’s adding onto an existing model
I want to find out how and why he ended up in some " '99 " of sorts to begin with, and why he became a proto frame (besides maybe thinking it would be cool )
yeah he has a blue hue still in Whispers, but barely any in 1999
I believe so, yes
Likely had a texture replacement
Thats easier than a whole model switch (it was hard enough to rid Loid of his piercing)
We know why
Albrecht didn't like him and trapped him in xx99 😭 same probably goes for the proto'ing
That doesn't answer the why, just the how
It doesn't answer why Roathe was seemingly hated and branded the Heretic of Xata
True
5 bucks says roathe was an executor that albrecht had personal beef with
though he might be a military officer considering hes wearing armor
That would be the fifth Executor named I believe
6th counting nihil
Tuvul, Ballas, Nihil, Karrish and...?
aventus i think
nuclearBox
oh right
We're sending the Tenno for you vro
Finally, I've been so lonely
Void lugger
Bah humbugger
@pale cedar Lore wise how fire is Voruna and Dagath deluxe skin
Not a lore thing
Voruna tho
Dipped in metal
Look
Idc Wisp and having "close moments" is all I want
Game of the Year fr
Oh there's definitely some Orokin behind things if they can commandeer frames
pictured: me pointedly not looking at the current gameplay bc its spoilers heavy...
||Do you think Gara fought against a Hunhullus on Earth? Or was that a smaller sentient||
It was a giant unnamed Sentient, so yeah it might've been one or at least something similar in scale
Okay chat as the mandatory loid guy
How do we feel about this. I hope its just murderous intent.
Based on how Adis and the Hunhullus interact, Gara likely fought something closer to Hunhow than a Hunhullus
don't know if anyone's analyzed the pieces of the eidolons to see if they line up with hunhullus parts
i'd say something similar in size or bigger rather than just a hunhullus imo
My love triangle theory is true
actually crazy
I don't think its a triangle
Eido bits dont seem to tally with hunhullus, since eido syndulla isnt present on hunhullus
It needs to be mutual on all sides for it to be a triangle
more like a V. maybe
Ehh
Not even a v, Loid isn't particularly interested in Roathe it seems. Never looked it.
also Hunhullus seem to be Sentient weaponry as opposed to being a Sentient
discord formatting always getting in the way
Discord formatting
I just hope its like. Murderous intent
If it was, Loid would beat his ass i aint gonna lie.
ah yeah, definitely not a hunhullus then
Okay so,
What Tenno is pilloting that ember
It goes limp when Megan killed it
..
is "hun-" a prefix. hunhullus, hunhow. is there a meaning there
Yeah wonder who that is
hunhow
hunwhere
hunwhy
Dax can't hurt orokin
Or. Have to obey kuva holders
Unless... Ballas is directly interfering at the reservoir
or Wally is commandeering the frame
Mm
so many possibilities
I don't like that wally is to blame for the memory loss. Wasn't that Margulis?
Maybe that's why she lost her eyes. It wasn't Margulis.
Who's blaming Wally
Lotus was claiming we were reclaiming our memories from the indifference
... or one of its other names.. I don't recall the exact quote I do recall the exact quote.
Margulis sealed up the zariman memories, she cant be blamed for memory loss after shes dead
Nah, it was the indifference
Mm.
"commandeered"
that.. doesn't fit with anything on the separatist side, afaik? even if its just some weird situation where some tenno are on the other side, they wouldn't be commandeered, just also rebels.
direct ballas (or some other executor) interference seems odd, though i can't really explain why
i would also guess wally isn't doing much atm, maybe rell's already doing his thing
It might just mean big tbh
Praghasa has a different one because shes that much larger
"Comandeered" does imply they're doing it unwillingly
or rather that they've been stolen
It's clear the Anarchs have resources
yeah. just trying to figure out how they're commandeering frames
Kind of sad we're just fighting Duviri Dax
there were a couple more variants iirc? shown in simulacrum
lol where do you think duviri got their idea of the dax
I thought they were exaggerated not straight "Yeah here's a dax with a big hammer"
Oh... wait... transference isnt a tenno only
WHY?
also do we think this is a generic line or is that specifically ember's?
one thing i realized that was not talked about: What about Tauron Academy? will it be a new Ops area, a One-off story plot point, or a Relay? i noticed that they did not talk further about it
they have the bodies, they can feed fodder to a transference pod to control a frame
we know thats its possible to route transference signals
You cannot tell me they REALLY just gave a dax a big suit of power armor and a hammer and sent him on the field
why not
THey absoluteely would
TESHIN DOESn"T EVEN HAVE POWER ARMOR
dude next to him has a nikana
HE JUST HAS SOME NORMAL ARMOR ANd A SWORD
dude behind him got a bow
bruh thinks this is Fallout smh
He's getting sniped by a battlyst 🥀 he has no mobility
Heavy armor and giant hammer is an objecivly perfect move for a soldier in the OldWar
also @celest needle The whole point about fighting sentients is blade and gun is like the only thing they can use against them.
Two swords
doesn't matter if you're allied with them at this point in time
cuz any like tech advanced enough to like do something probably can also
be taken over by them.
You say that like they don't have a heavier defense in compensation
Given that the TAU key art has its wreckage on the surface of Tau, and the Perita scenes don't have you walk around it?
Not a relay. At least not now. Cuz of this. Which means we can have a pretty explosive ending to the quest.
If they want.
just have to wait for December to see
it could be a relay-type area, similar to how 1999 has the navigation in the mall
but given that the triad seem to be the vendors of the update, probably not
again have to see on the 10th
Yeah I think the end will be
Very explosive and like "the war is BACK ON"
But who shall do the detonation?
Operator, of course
Is höllvania pronounced hullvania
hole-vania
Ö has a pronunciation that I forget
So. Uh. We are the Perrita Rebellion it seems?
For some reason, I assume our bleeding heart values, turn sympathetic to Tau and rebel against the Prime Vanguard and the Orokin forces on Tau? I think?
No
The Anarchs have managed to flip a number of Warframes to their side, while we loyally serve the Orokin Empire
Along with our Sentient allies at the Tauron Academy
And the empire has the truce with Sentients
Which is what the old peace is
I wonder what will go wrong
Now the twist is almost certainly that the Anarchs are being controlled by the Orokin as well
Roathe
I... definitrly missed something
For now
I-- alright. I'mma just relearn this when it actually drops. Despite the fact I was here both devstreams...
We know what triggered the Tenno into turning on the Orokin
What
I’m confuse
and there are dax soldiers on the anarch side.
Meaning the only way they could rebel is if an Orokin told them to
So the Orokin are playing both sides of the war
that....would certainly be something the Orokin would do.
Make up an enemy for both you and a former enemy to fight against and have said former enemy be more trusting towards you.
Reason 2394431343 that the Orokin suck.
Like, all the posts and times it’s come up on stream
Ohh
I do my best to listen and you gotta be like that. Anyway. Yeah. I guess we'll learn the rebellion's deal or something
5 bucks says they figured out the orokin are jackasses
or are being puppetered by someone
Idk. Who spearheaded tau relations?
Couldn't be Tuvul. Or Ballas. Maybe.
Maybe some secret third of the 7 executors I guess?
Wasn't there a giant orokin statue in the tauron academé?
again its more like the 2 remaining given nihil's existence
and well dude fits the whole seven sins bit some of the executors have going on
We have Nihil, Tuvul, and Ballas. There were seven granted?
Was Vilcor on it? No... couldn't have.
Three remaining unless there's another executor I forgot?
Avantus is a name that's popped up as an executor (Arid Eviscerator synthisis log)... but I don't know how many details we have on her.
other than she died to a grineer rebellion while escaping a tower being overrun with infested.
Karishh - Fled to Europa, most likely eaten by Grendel (Grendel Leverian)
But Ballas would make an equal amount of sense too
Of course he'd stir up conflict again if it meant getting Tau
I think he was also the one who provided that one Archimedian to continue their research into Sentients? Maybe he also knows how to cause Core Overloads and gave that info to the insurgents?
gods, operator is really having a rough time
yall recommend nidus or sevagoth?
@lean garden @strange plinth
That is nice
Ascaris, as in what Vor used to try and control our Warframes-- I'm guessing the Insurgents are using the same on the other Warframes to control them, and enemies drop them
We End as We Began
guys what u recommend nidus or sevagoth
Sevagoth's prime is still in rotation so probably him just for that
no like recommend nidus or sevagoth in better gameplay like most damage and maybe max investment
not in rotations
Sevagoth needs a bit more to invest in I think because he's got two exalted
but like, no Warframe is bad
Probably ask #gameplay-discussion or #warframe-general instead of here if you're not caught up with the story btw
well am trying every warframe rn to main until finals
alr
DE's never clarified if Nihil was an Executor or merely an executioner
Ascaris bolt lore in big 2025???
HOLY MUCK
Vilcor was a low class solider turn weaponsmaker.
Well low class for a Orokin.
Yeah he married into nobility
I haven't reached R5 Entrati but did they name eularia the same name or did they choose a different name?
So... Tuvul, Ballas, Avantus, Karishh... still three elft to be named for Tau's operations.
Different
@rotund tinsel you even get a name.
Gomaitru.
It reminds me of the word: Matron.
Also she has a cool scene anyway.
I wish sometimes I could rewatch all rank up scenes.
"we had no right to expect such help....from the tenno" knowing what happened to the orokin,I wonder if they remember the slaughter part
Why does every enemy party want the power of a warframe?
Huge power spike if they end up getting a warframe on their hands
From our perspective its humdrum doldrums. But Corpus and Grineer live lives. In stark contrast to our relatively swan-about lives.
Who? The family?
Cuz Son had a fiancé we killed during the night of naga drums So seemingly the rest remember.
It's a description to one of the rank titles to the Entrati family
Kuva Grineer.... hoo. I don't need to list Worm's parodies of Corpo-lingo in ambiance of the fortress. Nor do I need to mention that Fortuna... for all of the Solaris' lives... they just live paying off debts they can never seek to be freed on
Playing a quest about the night of the Naga drums and lotus whispers "no Russian"
Or whatever it was,it's been awhile since I've played cod
I mean that only works if you are trying to false flag that was the whole thing.
Call of... Duty? Whuh
They said to not speak Russian so people thought it was the US doing that attack.
The night of Naga drums was not a false flag.
Anyway. Yeah. Eleanor's little line about us swanning about in the infested hollvania? You could extrapolate that to how the tenno look dismantling so many grineer/corpus operations. We have it... relatively easier with our built-in fangs.
Ah that's neat (I'm a bit hazy on remembering that mission)
But yeah,I do hope we get to play as ourselves in the past during the the night Naga drums
God I hope we do not play Excalibur again for the 6th time...
7th? Dunno at this point.
@rotund tinsel
Just to make sure you saw this.
I did,I'm glad they recognised they were huge a-holes
Like you know
???????????
We also killed Teshins seemingly wife?
It's part of his radiant dialog.
Oh yeah, that bit
If you stand near him.
ah.
Although I don't remember if Teshin stated it was tenno directly,we also could've done it indirectly
From his new war dialog or cave dialogs?
both
Yes.
He yells "TENNO WHY"
we dont know. all we know is that her name was valeria.
So many damn things we dont know...
Why is every grineer commandeer [except Kayla and Sargas] obsessed with a warframe
because warframes are really strong
We are like walking gods.
Have they EVER succeeded 😭
Also we appear do our jobs and then leave without a trace.
Ik that... there's at some point... five castes. The Blue-kins. Then the lower Orokins like Margulis and Loid. Then the Dax. Lower Guardians. And then the Grineer.
Idk where the corpus fit into that. Probably the sixth between lower guardian and grineer. Idk.
"The queen's have sought out Warframes before" but it could mean that they did try but did not succeed
Also parvos has a warframe or a spectre atleast
Bluekins are the name I'm using for the blue orokins. Considering the whole classist thing going on about marrying above or beloe your station... I think its very important that Bluekins are differentiated from Orokin. Or the... non-blue ones. Could be something else but... I don't think its just that.
Marge was an archimedean, loid was just a servant
Orokin only refers to the blue ones
It seems like they're just throwing paint at the wall at this point, dawg every other faction has a warframe aligned with them at some point and 3 of your commanders have been blocked by the Tenno for every warframe they try to capture
Grineer are orokin remnants/waste. they're not getting one out of spite

Though weirdly enough
Saryn and Kela have some weird design similarities
a bit
like i definitely see it
I sure do wonder if Loid was getting some side action.
Would Albrecht feel differently if he did get to watch?
Do we really want to think too hard about that line just yet?
This seems surprisingly close
You won't need to separate the non-blue orokin, as that's like. 3 of them, the queens and Albrecht, who was still blue once
I don't think its this tbh
It could be "Silly Albrecht, keeping me close to his loved ones that I can easily kill because I hate him so much"
Or it's Old Man Yaoi
As far as I'm concerned there is no inbetween
I mean we have no concrete pieces of knowledge about Roathe besides that one freaky line and what Reb told us
we will have to wait a little over a week to start finding out
curious musings, but what do you guys think on how coda can escape to earth proxima, despite being spawned and seemingly contained in 1999?
Hibernation
After I did the hex and checked up the 1999 OSTs (they're incredible, holy crap DE) I FINALLY realized daughter on deimos was playing party of your lifetime in the background
I mean the stadium is also out there so there is some shenanigans going on.
