Yeah sorry all of them could theoretically operate completely independently, but it seems the Orokin did something that made them hollow. So most of them now only act when their survival instincts kick in

keeping sane/sapient is helped by having something to focus on, all of the frames that fully retained it had something that kept them that way. umbra had his memory, stalker his hate, kullervo his guilt, etc

When did you last play? What do you remember playing, and what part of the story are you up to?

The latest update includes a new area of sorts on Venus that's set Post-New War, as well a tutorial mission called the Teacher that goes over modding, unlocked for people right after Vor's Prize (the first set of missions in the game)

Before that was Isleweaver which is the latest bit of story content (though not actually a quest)

The Teacher was more focused on modding, but it didn't really teach modding. It also was meant to introduce Teshin before Natah and War Within, but it also kinda messed up there

Because in War Within there's meant to be a reveal he's a Dax (the operator goes "Teshin... Dax?!" as if it's a new revelation) but they say it more casually here in the Teacher which makes the War Within bit weird.

The biggest suggestion people had was that there should be multiple Teacher missions throughout the game, roughly around the Junctions

The second 4 hour quest and 2 hours of it is talking about having multiple elemental combinations on one gun and valence fusion

This one teaches how to install and upgrade mods, another one teaches base damage, another teaches elements, another teaches multishot, another one teaches crit chance and crit damage, another for set bonuses etc.

my idea was The Teacher unlocks weekly mod puzzles.

things like

You are Frost and are unable to use weapons. use these mods to survive 3 defense waves

That feels like a bit much. Single Teacher quest would be enough if they just went Damage, Crit mods, Multishot and Elements for weapons, talking about the basic Ability mods for Warframes and maybe health/shields/armor, then had a tutorial on Orokin Vaults that gave a guaranteed Warframe mod as the "final" part.
