an archimedean, she attempted to heal the tenno after they were recovered from the zariman
she was executed for this, because the other orokin wanted to weaponize them
but whos the twink guy on the moon
margulis gave the tenno therapy, then the orokin leaders were like "these guys would make good soldiers" and margulis said "no" and was killed for it iirc
Loid.
theres like 12 twinks on the moon at this point please be more specific
ALBRECHT gay lover not ballas
also question what the balls is duviri
pls, he didnt even succeed
is it like alternate universe warframe
oh boy.
no
that teshin is the one from the new war.
yesn't ig???
Its like saying Nick is gatsby's gay lover, he's not, even as gay as they get
shhhhhhhhhhh
ik who teshin is but who is he
so in the void, thoughts and emotions can become real physical objects. the drifter was lost in the void with only his book --- Tales from Duviri, that taught him how to manage emotions
like lore wise
Duviri is a "universe" but it's one that your Drifter 'birthed' from space trauma and a lot of void juice
I question if one has played the game at all from how this is going
they have
so duviri isnt a real place but it became a real place because it wasnt
lets not pretend warframe lore isn't dense and confusing
yknow? kinda. basically. yeah.
i mean
there's a lot of it
but none of it is particularly complex on its own i think
okay so basically warframe is just magical space drug juice giving people magic powers making them want to become god
and scattered all over the place, and as someone with audhd some of them being mission audio logs does not help
Have you met warframe players? We rival Destiny players in literacy, doubly so if they play both games
very dumbed down yes
warframe is an elite ruling class getting their heads so far up their own ass that they can't see past the shit they spew, then killing a bunch of people about it. then getting killed about it.
im approximately 12% more autistic
elite ruling class = orokin
people who killed them = tenno! eventually. we were on their side for a little bit
I'd say the entire concept of Eternalism is quite complex-
at least if you really want to get into the nitty gritty of it and not just eternalism means spacetime shenanigans
so basically people just fighting over who can be better and more immortal and autistically powerful pretty much
im autistic
wtf does autistically powerful mean??? π
thats fair! i still think some people here might not be comfortable with it
magic space wizard shenanigans
48 seconds Β· Clipped by ShadeyShroomy Β· Original video "Warframe: The New War All Cutscenes (Game Movie) 4K 60FPS" by Gamer's Little Playground
let's be honest here, we're in the lore channel of the warframe discord server. i think most of us at least need to start questioning our neurotypicality
yeah that's fair
I'm autistic and I find it weird to be used like that-
especially when we have Rell the autistic Tenno, who the community loves but was outcast from the other Tenno because he was too different qwq
should have watched the new war cutscenes
watch the clip i linked
what's a donda
fidget toy
watch the clip
i see now
so the operator and drifter are the same person but no
don't skip cutscens.
yes XD
aha
yes. also the hand you get in duviri
is the hand you regrow her from in the new war.
of lotus
WAIT RELLS ACTUALLY AUTISTIC
imagine there were two of you, and they were raised in radically different environments, and then suddenly you swapped places. that's kinda sorta what happened to the operator and drifter
yes?
THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE
correct!
OHHHHHHHH I GET IT NOW
amir right
Amir feels ADHD + anxiety, poor baby
amir is goated
not as explicit as rell's autism oh wait you're talking about amir yes actually exactly as explicit
also when i said characters are gay
i like that guy
i meant it btw.
i think i figured out how to summarize warframe in 2 words
Ticker is trans canonicly too.
doomed yaoi
Loid's theme song(?) Yara Jeliira literally means "Behold my heart"
I love Ticker so much
yeah loid and albrecht are canonically a... well a really harmful and bad awful couple but a couple regardless
but it was a fine poly relationship.
warframe is literally just doomed yaoi the game
id say the void war saga definitely is
dude the entire plot of warframe is literally doomed yaoi
"DOOMED" nah i'm getting out i'm built different.
it all makes sense now
the new war saga and beforehand was more childhood trauma the game
you can date the proto frames.
eeehh? the ones before that has straight obsessive toxic narcissistic 'love' (ballas)
uh
that's funny to me.
tbf probably the least weird thing in the game
Cavia are animals exposed to wally and the void
if you play d&d, they're like awakened animals
oh yeah
so they can talk they would have died if not for Fib.
god recent updates sure do make a whole lot of sense when you think about the narrative panel and how the lead writer for the game said that being shocking and surprising is a big goal of theirs
bird Has ADHD Tagfer Has depression
albrecht, some science dude from 1999, is the man in the wall, and ALSO grandpa???
Fib has guilty.
not The man in the wall
he just was the first to see him.
he time traveled to 1999 and is not the man in the wall, he's the guy who made/discovered the man in the wall
THEN WHO IS THE MAN IN THE WALL
ZEK! ZEK! ABA! ZEK! -bird 3 β€οΈ
not married to grandma but yes
TIME TRAVEL?????
lmao what did you think 1999 was?
well yes but like
eldritch demon god created by or discovered by albrecht, something like an embodiment of the void??? something like that??? we don't have a ton of details
@jolly delta
in the context of the game? XD
so all these guys were orokin?
the year people made contact with the void?
i think
no
nope! wally invaded 1999
he was not there originally but he also time traveled because. void.
yeah no, it was time travel baybeeee!
albretch did that before the old war.
well ruslka also let him in.
so john wall time traveled to 1999 to invade the world with techroy
also what the piss is techrot
no
infestation
and it was already there
Techrot was already there .
ehh I dont think techrot was wally's thing
Infestation goes back before 1999.
techrot is the infestation, already there. arguably it originated in that time period! not 1999 exactly but a few years prior
techrot is basically a zombie virus, think of it that way
tech zombie virus.
yes
wally invaded with rusalka (the leader of the scaldra) and his own army, the Murmur
yeah
so is it a virus but literally
its zombie computers
yes
a paramilitary group in 1999
we literally see signs about don't pirate otherwise you might get a "virus"
being a tech rot Virus.
you wouldnt download a crab
a longer explanation is techrot does this to you
human + computers = computer zombies*
yes anti techrot but also like kinda a cult and a paramilitary group rolled into one
they have anti tech rot stuff it just is also suffering.
so i can become warframe
no
i think i get it now
theoretically?
Proto frames are also suffering.
it all makes sense
Proto frames will eventually become a warframe.
wait but why did john wall time travel back to 1999
proto frames are something i still just don't like on face but yeah they do also hate it its just slower
to follow albrecht
to follow albretch
so if you become a warframe you lose conciousness?
no?
why would he do that is he stupid
moreso you go insane, but yes
yes but also when albrecht first met him, albrecht accidently cut off one of his fingers then hid it away so wally couldn't find it. think of it like a great eldritch being looking for the missing part of themself so they can become whole and destroy the world. thats exactly what its like.
he really likes albrecht, probably can compare it to an obsessive space god-child-man
Albrecht was his first friend! Xd
@jolly delta oh btw Duviri was a book made by Mother. you can hear her in duviri as the narrator btw.
he discovered the void?
first person to travel to the void.
when
unlocking Hyper Space travel.
first guy to discover the void, arguably the creator of wally, the only guy who knows where wally's finger is, and most importantly, seemingly the only person who knows how to defeat wally
before the old war.
so way after 199?
beyond his vague words of "love" being the key
thousands of years after 1999
doomed yaoi π
yes. it's the oldest point we have that's not 1999.
yes! 1999 is significant because it may be where the great great great great ancestors of the orokin came to be?
but why would he travel specifically to 1999
wally couldn't reach there
why
(except he could)
at first.
too far? i don't think its explained in detail
uhhhhhhhhhhhh?
not sure, the y2k might be important
the techrot might be important too
yeah, though we dont have explicit explanation why albrecht went there specifically but it could be all sorts of reasons
which is why john wall cant go there
we do have a explantion
it all makes sense
LET VINNY GET THE SCREENSHOT
let me fine it.
ah okie
the doylist reason is because rebecca thought it would be cool
you don't
its a literary thing. doylist = the out of universe explanation, i.e. "the writer thought it was cool"
Watsonian = in universe, i.e. "the character saw it as their only choice"
@jolly delta here is why 1999.
creative lead on warframe
don't you love it?
elite soldiers sworn to serve the orokin
OHH I GET IT WAIT IT MAKES SENSE
oh fu- I've never seen that before!
elite soilders that through kuva have to serve the orokin. or just who has the kuva.
squildigook dividided by gwimblehorn multiplied by squeep carry the norgle is NINETEEN NINETY NINE???
I cant decipher the scribblings, but it has uh magic circles looking things??
leylines????
uh huh.
okay so basically albrecht chose to go to 1999 since
IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW OHHHH
teshin and Varzia are the last ones alive.
oh ballas and the family are the last orokin.
wait isn't there a codex entry that says the reason albrecht went to 1999 was because ||CURSE OF RA π’π ²ππ΄π π ±π ππΏπ πππ π‘π ²ππ’π πππ ±π π ππ ±π¨ πΏππ΄π ± π πΏππππΏπ π ||
what about lotus
lotus is a sentient
oh makes sense
by who
The senteints?
who made her
Lotus has a bit of an identity crisis because of it, poor spacemom π
oh
hunhow?
so the sentients were made by the orokin, but turned
the sentients are self replicating yeah
Hunhow is her dad.
correct, them fighting was the old war
"Turned"
everything turns agaisnt the orokin.
there was maybe a truce in the middle of the old war? the old peace (upcoming update) will explain how THAT fits
@jolly delta also Lotus did her job. mostly.
Sentients were like "wait a minute!!! you're just gonna pollute and destroy this other place too!! and we don't like it!" >:(
I maintain that "the old peace" is a stupid name
also whos ordis
Wait do you know what happened to the orokin?
is he just like a helpful silly little gu
I mean it's paralleling the Old War so like XD
Old War and Old Peace
yes, he loves the operator
wait
guy turned into a computer.
what if the man in the wall is clem
as all celphons.
also he's not.
what if clem is albrecht from the future
was a badass mercenary guy, turned into your wetnurse
Ordis has more backstory too but idk if you can handle all the info rn there's a lot XD
spoilers on ordis lore (its really good i recommend watching a video): ||old super strong warrior who tried killing the orokin and got turned into a subservient butler to you for it||
no
@jolly delta do you know what happened to the orokin?
or odvinsko can just say it sure
they got killed by the sentients?
no they got killed by us the Tenno Xd
yeah.
Lotus inflitration worked. she just refused to kill us.
potato tomato
Which was the last part of the plan.
they killed margulis cause she wasn't into us being used as child soldiers and then we were like ">:("
yeah.
is margilus lotus and natah
no?
which does make me hope we get to see the original Margulis in this new arc qwq
Margilus was a archimedian that "loved" ballas or was loved by ballas.
ohhhh
natah was made to imitate margulis, under the name of "the lotus"
and she died
so lotus and natah are the same tho right
yes
ehhh? mostly. there's some DID stuff going on there
My theory is that since it's been revealed in a recent Hex chat it's revealed the tech rot jump-starts the radiation wars and other events that lead to the Orokin, 1999 was a very convenient time to erase the tech rot with the nuclear reactor, preventing the Orokin from forming as we know them. Thus, Albrecth would not exist, and Wally would not exist (with him being enable to do anything as he was still cobfined to a single strand of khra due to his finger). This created a Paradox that was enough to stall Wally from getting to Albrecht.
so albrecht is not evil and acually a good guy?
when the Natah quest came around, my friend and I were like "omg I cant believe Teshin would deadname Lotus like that" XD
albrecht is extremely complicated
what does deadname mean
hes trying to be good, he really is, he's just making a lot of bad choices along the way
EHHHHHHHH. 1 2 3 people wanna kill him that are our allies.
One of them being a Cavia 2 of them being protos.
like I said, a lot of the factions and characters arent just good or evil, they're more complex than that
saying someones name before they "transitioned" or "came out" usually.
basiclly calling someone a name they don't wanna be called.
To be fair they are (rightfully) biased. Albrecht is simply pragmatic - he's taking on the indifferent choices so that we don't have to.
so warframe is basically just random bs strung together to make sense in the bare minimum
teshin sure does know a lot and has a lot of powers that he shouldn't have do you think we're ever getting elaboration on that or are they leaving it at "he's super cool and awesome" and leaving him in duviri
No
say I was born John
then I decided, no I don't like it I wanna be Natasha
so someone calling me John is called "deadnaming"
you say that like he doesn't literally say he did the cavia experiments cuz he got high with loid.
wrong
you are 1000000% right however that is because every story ever is exactly this
im too tired for this
no no no, the drink is correct.
im gonna sleep now
you probably are
good night The Drink
mods TAKE THEIR KIDNEYS
good night guys
gnight!
goodnight.
Albrecht is evil in a good way
i understand warframe 9.29% more now
lul
nice number
this sentence is exactly why im going to sleep now
He was trying to get Wally to become dumber - were it had worked, it would have been completely justified. Even now, they are keeping the Murmur at bay with the help of the Tenno - something that just Loid wouldn't be able to do all on his own.
ikr
You can not deny his actions are for the betterment of humanity or more accurately all of existence
he literally still did it for the reason i said.
But he also really sucks and would off you if that ment wally died
he said what π
It was a "high-idea"
Every action he takes is to stop wally he will take any action that stops wally
now that that newb is gone lets talk about the real lore questions.
are we ever going to get to wingman for quinn? i wanna help him get a partner he seems lonely
if there's any more reason to hate what albrecht has done
the operator collects parental figures like pokemon cards and i think they all deserve happy endings. hunhow included
The only women hed like is uhhhh committed both relationship wise and isn't looking to travel now
To be fair, so were alot of scientific theories. I mean, quantum physics by itself requires you to get high to make head and tails of.
it might be a little difficult considering they're void ghosts now, but maybe he could get with one of the other holdfasts?
this is so real me in school trying to understand how smth is both up and down
"I realized my error as I sweated by visionary nestawood cinders, beside Loid who curled pale and sick from chewing too much of the root. The catalyst was uniqueness. That attribute was what caught the interest of the bland and undifferentiated Void."
hey hey wait wait i got an idea
he literally was getting High with Loid who couldn't hang
a real one.
Why is hunhow called the destroyer of worlds?
what world did hunhow destroy?
probably some moons
I mean he was right in the end, but... the poor cavia he doesnt even take care of them after QwQ
Burn the old world to seed it with new life is my interpretation- being a terroforming engine and what not.
what if he messed up tau? what if he's part of the reason the old war got reignited?
"Destroyer of worlds" is a title
also i need to vent my "adis is hunhow" theory. it makes no sense and its basically impossible but if i don't say it now ill never get it out of my head
Also destroying the world doesn't mean that he destroyed the physical planet
i so getchu, go for it lmao
not the adis is hunhow part but the theoryworm part
Uprooting all of human society is also commonly called "destroying the world"
it just boils down to me thinking adis is the person who reignited the old war mixed with me wanting hunhow to be involved in reignited the old war there's no solid evidence.
true yeah
Sentient Destroyer of Worlds is an aspirational title
I can throw you a bone with
Adis piloting a Hunhulus?
The fact the smaller Sentients can pilot/become larger ones means the Hunhow theory at least has a hook to hang on
Unlike so many Warframe theories
i like that we all were really up in arms about the old peace at first and quickly settled on "oh yeah there was just a treaty"
yeah, though I still need to know how Adis is doing it like
is there a special interfacing mechanism in the Hunhulus for a Sentient?
can any Sentient do it or just Adis?
gameplay dialogue implies Adis is unique, almost like a prototype Sentient
yeah sure that makes sense. "Why wasn't it mentioned?" cause it wasn't written yet dummy
i think adis is extremely special because the archimedean mentions him being examined by the seven for evolution
also in canon, the Orokin Empire can always do some revisionism because they'd do that
my personal pet theory is that Adis is special because they have Trasference tech fitted into them :p
It might be an attempt to give sentients transference- considering the similarity between the Hunhulus and Albrecht's Statutes (forgot their name), and the Operator saying "like me" when describing Adis.
and we've seen people, non-Tenno, use transference (and get stuck, like Silvana the Silver Grove)
possibly, then that fits with my other no-evidence theory that adis is an experiment in seeing if the orokin can make a robotic body to transfer into. no more yuvans, pure immortality.
I doubt it! but you never know
Going further into possibly crack territory
IT'S TOTALLY BALLAS HE'S MAKING SENTIENT TRANSFERENCE PILOTS TO REPLACE US THE TENNO /hj
...possibly? maybe this was his first attempt at getting rid of the tenno? making them obsolete? replacing them with something more easily controlled?
makes more sense than my "thousand year long power grasping" idea
That could work, actually. My personal belief is that this entire treaty is Ballas' work, and that whatever Orokin is leading the separatists (has to be an Orokin, 'cause Dax) has some personal beef with Ballas.
ooh that could make sense... we do see Ballas become a sentient hybrid after his little 'accident'
oh i think ballas is leading the seperatists
After all, Ballas is constantly shown to "side" with the Sentients - he secretly was behind them, teh vitruvian, the ease with which he created Narmer, and how he appears to be the "face" of the treaty with what little we seen.
that's why Adis is paired up with a Tenno, to learn how we fight and control our warframes
that's why he has his own mech to pilot, something to mimic the warframes but more akin to Sentient
i think this entire stint in tau is him playing both sides in order to garner sympathy with the sentients so when he destroys the orokin empire and flees to tau, they welcome him with open arms
I don't think so, not only due to the points I outlined above, but also because from a narrative standpoint it would be really boring to make him the main villain again.
Canβt wait to show ADIS in 2026 heβs not the only one who has a giant ahhhhh mecha suit lmao.
that's the thing, i don't think he is the main villain
it'd be boring to me personally to just have Ballas be the only main mastermind in everything, especially when we now have an opportunity to be introduced to more of the Orokin Empire
i think what's going on with the seperatists is going to just be background info for the more relevant conflict between us and adis
maybe even more of the Seven
that i can agree with yeah
The transference noise continues to be satisfying to hear. No matter whatβs going on in story, hearing the noise always sends a chill down my spine
also i kinda hate thinking that ballas planned thousands of years in advance and collapsed a civilization so he would be the one god king instead of one of seven. its in character i just don't like it
I think I see Ballas' motivation as still being haunted by Margulis' execution
Margulis is his obsession
and he likes being in power as part of the Orokin Empire, he just hates everyone and everything that took his Margulis away from him
i think the center stones we can agree on are that
- we're doing this to get to tau
- we're going to tau to find albrecht
- adis will be important to either our history or our present
i think adis will directly be our key to tau somehow
I vote for both on 3!
Also the Operator will relieve more trauma (I'm basing this on that one frame flash of eye-less Margulis)
i think us killing that sentient in front of adis is what reignites the old war, and i think modern-day adis is still alive. maybe he's the king of tau, or something
wait you right... do we think that is a clue that we might see Margulis take on a more central role in the old peace??
OR tau is completely desolate and there is nothing left there, but i think that'd be unsatisfying so i don't think that'd happen
I swear if this is because Tenno DIDNT GIVE THAT BABY A HUG
I think it probably has something to do with Loid refering to these memories as "polluted". I doubt they are entirely false, but at the same time I don't think this is exactly what happened.
unironically I think its not what reignites the Old War
I think its a foreshadowing of what is to come for you and Adis, and that reignites the Old War
Probably the first step. The Tenno killing in self-defense (even if they are effectively immortal) once shouldn't start the war. Destabilise the peace, sure, but not start the war.
yeah that's what i mean
i don't think one sentient dies and they go "oh i guess they're betrayers now. kill them all"
i really hope its not the case
it looks more like the first crack in operator and adis' relationship tbh
I swear if we dont get an option to hug Adis I will RIOT
that sentient had a core override and during the demo the separatist npc( i think) said that the core override cant be reversed
WE CAN HUG THE CAVIA, LET US HUG ADIS
I do wonder though - why did the Operator kill the Sentient? We know the Tenno can't be killed (Ballas would have done that then), so why did they feel the need to kill the Sentient?
they said "you cant heal a core override" which I think can be interpreted differently imo
like, maybe Adis' healing is more physical for the Sentient, and a core override is more akin to mental? that's why Adis' powers don't work on it
could be adrenaline! they are child soldiers after all
a tenno cant be killed but a warframe can(correct me if im wrong)
a warframe can be destroyed Im pretty sure, we scraped off Umbra's remains and remade him in our Foundry
Yeah, but somehow I doubt the Tenno have that great of a connection to it. It's most likely war instincts from fighting the Sentients pre-truce.
adis called that sentient a hive-kin right?
and adis and that sentient are the only ones we see with that type of sentien face
Vomvalysts have something similar.
yeah, the sentients seem to use bug imagery
like how Erra says about Natah
"Queen of the aphids" or "You were meant to be a queen, yet you let the bees control you"
BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i am a massive bug fan. why do you think titania is my number 1 favorite warframe
Worm has taught me how terrying bugs can be if only they had a central, sentient mind controlling them.
oraxia, nidus, and inaros are also up there
maybe adis is a "hive-kin" and got mad at us for killing another of his type
i think adis is more mad we killed something with thoughts and emotions than just mad we killed his cousin or something
Absolutely. Probably not "mad", but definitely... sad? Disappointed? Something along those lines.
I thought hive-kin is just their way of calling other sentients, like how we'd call ppl unrelated to us brother or smth
could be all of them at once even Xd
but it was enough to make him cry and turn away from us
sentient units in the origin system are more like battle drones unlike the sentients in the demo
imagine, instead of my brother in []
sentient version is like my hive-kin in hunhow XD
that sentient teacher is a summulyst btw
that is true, there's more pacifistic roles in the sentients in tau especially since their original purpose there was terraforming
@cartilynvega you can Hug the Cavia
Yes I knew that from playing Caliban a lot recently.
yeah, unlocked the option recently I was SOBBING fr π
They are all so sweet.
that's why I said DE BEETER GIVE US HUGGING ADIS π
Can't play EDA
Meh, it's not that hard, especially since Netracells now actually give standing (thank the Void for that change) (I think, haven't done them in a while)
10,000 ants and wasps attack
I feel like our story with Adis is gonna end with more trauma- wait
what if that's the reason we were put into cryosleep by margulis? because we were so distraught over our fight with Adis we started hearing Wally?
might be a stretch but idk
And Spiders. Silk is surprisingly useful. And just the spacial awareness alone is amazing.
No thereβs a worm meme of that I just didnβt have the image
Ah, I haven't really seen much of the memes other than that one youtube channel.
I figured 50/50 youβd already seen it and just posted the caption
Aw Dang it! No, I'm afraid I hadn't seen it
Elite Deep Archimedea
Elite Deep Archemidea - it's Netracells on steroids.
i think i never played archimedea
I mean, if you're not at rank 5 I don't think you can play it.
You go to Necraloid on the second floor of labs I think after rank 5
i can play but never tried because lazy
That is so fitting I can't π
I wonder if The Void and Voidtongue was ever part of religion in the wf universe
we've got at least 2 songs that sound like hymns in voidtongue, and now a priest and nun protoframe also speaking in voidtongue appearing next to the devil frame π€
losing my mind over these two example religious icons from ligerβs concept arts for lyon/harrow, what do you MEAN you used your boys as icons, huh? what,,
(also arthur is captioned βsecond son/sunβ, loid is captioned βfirst son/sunβ, if anyone is curious)
they give me tarot card vibes, together with the other two above them
also I'm not super familiar with Liger yet, are Arthur and Loid their favourite characters from warframe?
or is it that they also designed Arthur and Loid?
liger designed both of them!
oooh! okay that makes more sense now lmao
loving how loidβs Bosom Windowβ’ gets ever so slightly toned back for the religious iconography, but itβs too iconic to entirely remove
critical part of his design
a bosom window in this dualistic server?? perish the thought!
equal opportunity cleavage
these two though, personifications of sol and lua?
Isn't Liger like, the main reason why DE magically learned to make human faces?
is that also like... Ostron text above him?
Oraxia boss fight be like
I think that's the 1999 orokin script, no?
I mean, the text is present in 1999 era
@lofty rune okay So Albretch is someone from "a place where people don't die" like Albretch from the heavens. Also Arthur is like the leader of the hex the ones that help the tenno the most (and Albretch).
Not that wild to be fair.
Like someone from someone else that is all knowing
And has the cure to all things?
oh i missed the 1999 text above that guy i thought it was just the boys being special
idk I need to check, I was just sure that's not orokin orokin text since orokin text are longer and swoopier?
Except dementia/alzheimerβs
That give people power? I get it.
I do wonder how he Knows Loid.
Also who is this woman
Arent they positioned and poised like tarot card characters?
idk man! it's just in a group of 4 together with Arthur and Loid in Lyon's art
I got that vibe too π€
the text above the guy here says βreflectionβ
reflection-- WALLY?!
Well a lot of art is in this like portrait style to be fair it feels more like hoe people have like Saint Maria Little pictures and stuff.
(as in reflection of Albrecht lmao, I'm talking about wallbrecht)
honestly iβm just assuming theyβre meant as little easter eggs since theyβre not the most noticeable ingame, though i checked the trailer and they are there on lyonβs skirt
I think it's likely, with both loid and arthur being there
is albrecht also liger design?
yknow I'd actually be pretty down for wf themed tarot cards
but also, maybe the 'woman' is meant to represent Drifter? hence why their face is obscured
I just thought because Drifter's default outfit is like lots of wrapping cloths kinda deal
He gotta wear smth when he got outside of duviri
i donβt think so! thereβs no concept art of him on their artstation, anyways
I need a warframe themed chess game. In game, obviously.
Make it a substitute for chess.com
That's nowhere near the same, though.
Still a substitute
I want like, different movesets and stuff
I would even be happy if it's as different as Chinese chess, as long as the core idea remains
If anything Komi is closer to checkers, although it's still rather different (and simpler).
i wonder what the importance of adis is in the sentient heirarchy, he seems like a pretty big deal. You can hear the love and adoration when the sentients call him "truth bloom"
He definitely has a high place in the heirarchy, considering Archimedean Yatzam or whatever his name is scolded Adis for cheating, and how itβs important to show that he learned in front of the Seven, before being interrupted by the alert
The very fact that an Archimedean, a Sentient Archimedean, is scolding Adis for cheating, and mentioning that he would have an audience with the Seven, suggests a very important role for Adis
oh yeah, he has to present himself to the 7. Maybe he is a prince of the sentients because the sentients do refer to him as a sort of youngin' (even tho they should all be the same-ish age since they cant reproduce post tau.)
Wdym canβt reproduce post tau
They didnβt do void travel for the first travel to Tau
That was for the second trip, and even if this was during the War, these are probably still Sentients who stayed in Tau
Outside of that, one thing Iβve heard that I like is that both the Operator and Adis are sort of envoys for both factions
Personally I think Adis is important because he has Operator-esq abilities, atleast in terms of transference - mainly based on him answering questions about the Tenno schools and the Operator refering to him as "like me".
ah by post tau i meant from their return from tau to the origin system
They could very well be just the Sentients that stayed behind
Yeah, not every sentient went to war, most of them aren't actually evolved for combat if I'm understanding right.
that could be yeah, i felt it was generally implied all sentients are infertile given it is said any loss of their numbers is permanent.
Thatβs only relevant for the Sentients in the Origin System
That group is still a a minor part of the entire Sentient population
One doubt that I always have in mind is
Are we the Tenno and Warframes
That powerful as shown in gameplay?
And how strong were the prime versions compared to the regular ones?
That would make sense for scientists sentients
Pretty sure in lore we are considerably more powerfull than in game. E.g. Atlas punching the asteroid or saryn cleansing the earth from the Infested.
we're not
Atlas didn't one punch an asteroid like Saitama would, he placed Rumblers on the asteroid to create a fault line which weakened the structure of the asteroid so he could destroy it
and Saryn didn't cleanse the earth, nothing suggests that
There still technocyte in there..
So..
So, taking into account all the new lore stuff
The Unum, quills and whatnot, is that STILL an open, left as is plot, right? DE Never expanded on the whole sentient tower that feeds the ostrons flesh (tower which has kuva blood btw) and stops time, plus quills just have this mystery like plan 'cause they follow the unum and can foresee things to a certain degree through what unum says should be acted upon?
I'm guessing this should all tie back to it (the unum at least) at some point, more so seeing there's at least a lot of sentient and eidolon lore in how Gara (died) and Revenant (appeared)
What the unum is is currently unanswered
may be relevant since shes the only ally we have that can view potential timelines
Yeah, can't help but think there's something there, like the unum was meant for much more but ended up getting shelved, it's also an Orokin tower in its original design and seemed like sentients were pretty adamant on destroying it with Gara staying to defend it and all afaik, but I guess it will be an open plot as others for a good while then
shelved? probably not, I just think her role to play is not just yet
oh I meant shelved for later use, but agreed there, there's still many plot lines to unravel, just by what they opened up in the new war and mitw there should be a lot more to unravel before we get to the tower I guess
can the holdfasts leave the zariman ?
Unknown
Maybe if the place has suficient void exposure?
Kinda like the requirements of drifter and operator appearing at the same time
Could also be they are tied to some sort of comunal memory of the zariman
Can only make wild guesses at it
I want 1999 gang and drifters to go to tau along with operator
I think the Holdfasts probably could, but they donβt exactly get the chance or a reason to in their current circumstances
Canβt and wonβt happen
Unfortunately
Old Peace and Tau are meant to and should focus on the Operator, and besides that the rest of the Protos properly to the present deserves itβs own at least semi-dedicated thing too
me and eleanor helldiving into tau to fight orokin separatists anyway
unless they disable proto skins
How quickly this Demon forgets. The infestation hivemind is definitely aware of things in different temporal branches, and implied to exist outside of time, allowing it to provide knowledge of any potential timeline where the infestation hasn't been entirely eradicated. Finding a reliable and coherent hivemind node to talk to is, honestly not much worse than trying to decipher the oddness of the Unum and Quills.
Which they definitely won't.
How quickly this demon can count the number of times the unum has tried to kill us on 0 fingers
For old peace, probably will
doesn't onkko also see different timelines ? or is that bc of the unum ?
Unum
yeah, the infestation is a disorganized mess, and has major personal (brain) space issues, but there are definitely allies there as well as enemies.
Unum
The quest is gonna lock your loadout most likely so no need to even consider that, yeah
Likely gonna be content after quest
Old Peace, quest, locks your gear so no skins period. Tau is gonna be the other missions and junk that Old Peace teased, so then you can use skins and whatnot there. That's how I see it
Old peace is basically gonna be a prelude to tau right?
I wonder how long the quest will be
I hope as long as the new war to fill in the gaps of the old war
It probably will be closer to the Hex, but damn a New War length quest would be nice.
Query; the large Sentient that is scanning the surroundings in The Old Peace trailer gameplay, is that what the Teralyst used to be before Gara destroyed it?
The Hunhulus? I don't think so. We don't know for sure, but it's probably not.
Ah, alright. I'm doing catch-up from not watching TennoCon live on Twitch (nor being wealthy enough to go in person) as I was stuck doing Service member things. Tauron Academy and Rebecca alluded if not curtain pulled Caliban to us. Rad.
where did dr entrati get the infestation
Considering the demo/intro alone was 20+ minutes, hopefully a bit
He got the Helminth strain from Ballas' archives, essentially
What is tau damage in the lore do we know? What are its effects?
Entrati isn't responsible for the Techrot outbreak (but he may have made it worse)
but he's responsible for the protoframes, how much of it did he control? was the decided frame random or did he decide who gets which frame ?
Latter
Ahahahaha, DE put a Wilhelm Scream in there absolutely
The Helminth strain was quite controllable in terms of abilities
It's why Arthur, Excalibur, ExcalPrime, and Umbra are almost identical
As far as we know the planet was already doomed from our history.
In gameplay, it makes the victim more susceptible to other status/ elemental attacks,in lore it (no source, just guessing) could adapt to the target and make them weaker?
The way it said βExcalibur Strainβ for Aurthur. Yeah they are custom crafted infection soup.
Entrati presumably played to their strengths too
Giving Quincy a sniper, for example
he knew them personally enough to know or did a background check?
Woah that lore theory is actually pretty creative, reverse adaptation
I think the helminth just adapts to whatever they bond with.
But that's just my head canon
But entrati must have five finger discounted Temple strain since Ballas never wanted to deploy it.
They need to buff sentients tho theyβre too weak to be scary
Buff tau damage rn
Afaik flare was struck with techrot and didn't recieve the vaccine
Or i'm i tripping?
I bet he did that with all of them
According to something Kaya says, he also had some notes on Protea
Which is hilarious in itself
Gara Prime outright confirms the Orokin/Ballas had so much control, they could give her glass powers because of a joke
I think Entrati did give them Helminth too
think? he's a warframe now, entrati did give him helminth
Maybe he just chose for them at a superficial level.
Arthur looking like a leader, Eleanor being his sister (excal looks like nyx), Quincy a sniper, Amir (Adhd on crack), Lettie a medic and Aoi a Mechanic
Maybe he just picked the ones that might have more with their personality and quirks, but that's just thinking outloud tbh
No sources
Don't quote me on this but in some kim texts they says they got struck by a techrot one day and lizzie showed up some time later with their transformation
Let me see if i can find them
some time later... after Albrecht turned flare into the pre-temple protoframe
After they (Flare uses they/them) got infested, they created Lizzie by shredding on their guitar so much their fingers bled
Let me guess.
Flare: psh you know how the story goes. magical mystery cure promises me that i'll become a performers the likes of which the world has never seen?
Oh my bad sorry
I deadass don't do that on purpose, it's just that my fingers go faster than my brain
I'm really sorry
So their guitar is just their blood fused with the guitar itself?
Yep, with a dose of Helminth and feelings
Parts of her
Fair tbh
Speaking of protos btw.
It's confirmed the infestation is going to take over eventually right?
Kaya got her portal working to exit 1999 and go to our time/system w/e, can't we just stabilize them?
There's not a process to stabilize them
And if there was, the only one who would have any know-how is Albrecht
so Old Peace is a flashback to Tau, and 2026 we actually goto Tau?
Looks like
ah
also how the hell is Albrect going to Tau? I get in 1999 the nuke provided the energy for the traavel, but how does he do it
Aren't the protos stuck in a timeloop for 1999, and can't leave cuz they're stabilizing that reality from the murmur?
i mean, she can leave and return at will it seems
what stops the others?
yeah... we killed ballas
so Albrecht is the only one that knows those things now
For what it's worth, the protoframes in the Origin System is canon, you're using transference to bring them with you
He has some sort of teleportation powers too
Also, maybe Albrecht shot a rocket at Tau during the Old War, and is just teleporting to it in the future
i'd guess more void bs
I really don't wanna be critical of stuff that has yet to come, but the relationship between Adis and the Operator, at least at the moment; feels Really Dry and not at all like a relationship between friends.
It's more like a "we're incompatible personalities but we're stuck together." kind of Sibling relationship.
Like there was a moment where you say;
Let's go, "truth bloom!"
And Adis just responds
Adis.
...Where's the back and fourth?
Where's the Friendly retort or anything of substance?
And on the Inverse too, when the cephalon calls Adis a "Void Lugger", pretty sure if my Friend was called what I can only imagine is a Slur for Sentients, I wouldn't just stay silent about it.
It just doesn't have anything of substance that says "we're friends".
anyway I've said my thing so now I shall disappear.
I feel like the moment they called Adis "truth bloom" was more of a jokingly kind of way
and Adis was mad that they called him that, but not knowing everything about that
like when a friend does something dumb and you call them by a nick name referencing that
Yeah, that's the friendly bit, when Adis responds drly with just "Adis." as a correction, That's the bit that doesn't feel like friends.
It's like if your friend has a really dumb Steam nickname
That's absolutely a friend response
Adis has likely heard that joke a hundred times, and it still isn't that funny
Like "Excelsior Alphaomega" to use a completely normal and random example
I'm getting moderately excited for the new old peace.
... me btw, my history teacher and my classmates used to call me by my old steam nickname they found randomly
Truth Bloom is their in game name. π

But like, the response from Adis is when it's not even a funny joke anymore to call them that
that's fair
there's no reciprocation, adis could Absolutely call us a "void devil" as a reciprocated, slightly unwanted nickname.
It's like when you don't like your mother/father and someone calls you "mother/father's son"
Adis my sweet lad, I want to protect him so much.
Adis did not play Xbox Live though because itβs not xXxTruth BloomxXx. π
Shame about what you're going to have done to him
Unfortunately, I wonder if this is what makes the Stalker hate us.
Imagine Adis is just Hunhow (kidding)
Stalker hates us for killing the Orokin
It seems, deeper than that.
pseudo hates us
like he forgot a lot about his past
AND the Orokin mind controlled him, in addition to him forgetting about Jade...
To be fair, so did we
It's not. It's killing the Orokin and (to him) condemning himself and Jade
He probably doesn't even remember being turned into a warframe, just assumes something happened and kept defending the orokin
Like bro if he had the full story like we do.
He would've killed ballas before we've even met umbra
Hunhow gives him mad shit for it during Second Dream
So flare was hit with techrot or was directly injected with the strain? which is it
Interesting thing is we never know if he ever had an operator.
We know Jade did.
Contracted techrot naturally
but then discovering his memories with jade.
We haven't seen anything like that besides with umbra
Apostasy Prologue, guarantee it
After Flare was dying of techrot, Entrati showed up with Temple's shot
ooh so its both
Basically all of the protos are in the same boat
I still love that Flare is simultaneously: the inspiration for Temple, the Temple protoframe, AND the original Temple Warframe
damn
Is Gauss prime faster than sonic?
No
titania is faster than sonic
...No
Gauss Prime isn't faster than Volt
How so?
https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Jade
Jade was eventually given an Operator, and sent on an assignment to Mars. Horrified at what the Orokin did to the child, Jade lulled her Operator to sleep and fought of her own free will to spare the child, believing that the Orokin's reckoning would one day come.
The interesting thing here is that taking away pain can go both ways it seems.
No
Razorwing Blitz won't even get her close
Straight up, Volt is faster than Gauss
then who is the fastest
It's Titania
From what i can grasp in game, Titania with 4 stacks of Blitz, Titania is the fastest frame.
Because of Blink
titania is unmatched
What about nova?
Kullervo:
Can't be faster than teleport spam
She can literally open portals like Dr strange
Kullervo and Nova have a longer cast time
So in a race Titania wins
Lore wise it seems Novaβs portals donβt have any limit to their range so
Maybe
As long as he doesn't Teleport into an enemy
The finisher cuts valuable time
In a race she wins if the distance is great enough
Titania is faster than Sonic because a hedgehog ainβt immune to heat and viral π

There is something of a range limit. She has to chain portals to travel across a ship in her Leverian
Kaya makes a portal to a comet for Flare
garuda leverian when
You know, I have to say
Well right now there's a portal that exists between time and space that will have an exploding roomba on it
Doesn't Flare just say they had Kaya's help? Unless she says on specifics
Someone get that woman some Shabiri Grapes
Didnt the Tenno accidentally blind Marg?
Man that frame is just gonna keep circulating
Yes
I still think it was Rell specifically
Rell did it
Garuda? What about hydroid?
She just needs the blindfold like a WoW demon hunter.
I donβt believe specifics are said
Also *they not he
It def helps Kaya is very smart but she canβt exactly chain portals to a comet cause. Sheβd be stuck out there
its such a good random frame to throw in ngl i love this horror game
And now I want a warglaives tonfa. :/
Give her the umbra blindfold
Remember that the protoframes are a weaker version of the regular ones
Where is that said?
If true that makes what Kaya does even more impressive
No
They just need to learn their powers
in the ama
Ah thank you :)
maybe she's the exception i can see that being true
They're still regular humans that need to eat and sleep, warframes don't need any of that
rebb basically describes them as the freshest of registered losers
The Sentients originally don't like us, and they were the ones doing weird stuff to Margulis right?
But in the upcoming update, the Sentients are now going to help us?
no mods
Eh sheβs more so the smartest
thats what i meant
Warframes do need to be healed with damage but yeah
I can see it being done with her help, but I don't see Kaya getting them to a comet in one portal
Sentients fought the empire, but obviously the Old Peace happened, and even more obviously it doesnt last
Which devstream was that AmA?
Talking about regeneration, what happens if a warframe loses a limb or head? Does it regenerate like umbra's face?
As far as I know she canβt chain portals from one location though
Helminth heals em
Frames can die though
I don't see any other way to do it
She's not full warframe, so she can't survive in space
So she can't chain the portals
^^^
None of them can, they can either die if exposed to radiation for too long
Or in AOI bad ending case..
Kayaβs smart enough she can def figure it out in one portal
So, Kaya must have reached the comet in one portal
Either
But Mirage and Limbo managed it
So did Jade
But is just an empty infested armor
eh, we dont know the state of limbos tenno
Still a living thing
Still capable of death
nor mirage for that matter, since thats pre-tsd and lotus was keeping us secret
Limbo might still be trapped in the void
also jades tenno didnt die lol
Or the existence of it
Thank you, Drusus
Have you forgotten what Lizzie said? Infestation cannot die easily, they are everywhere
True
We don't even know if Jade's Tenno was still "operating" her
we know the kid wussant
but we also know the kid aint gone the way of the dodo
She did not have a Tenno, since she was stalker's wife
Turned into a warframe
Pretty sure that's about the Infestation itself
Individual Infested can definitely be killed
she very much did have a tenno
She did, actually
Jade Memory Feathers
who she promptly put to sleep and took over
Still confused, I thought it was stalker's wife herself
You know, there was that one kid in one of the New War flashbacks who wanted their parents
Wonder if they ended up as Jade's Operator
Warframes without operators are raging creatures. When we're out of them, they're hollow, but it's NOT the Helminth that's responsible for it
She is
But she also had an Operator
Some exceptions to that, but basically
So two persons controlling one warframe you mean?
The Warframes aren't a suit of armor, they're people that have been warped by the Helminth
Stalker's wife IS Jade
look up jade's memory feather 5
Now that I look at it does it not kinda look like old war era grineer have oxium armor?
quick question
was margulis known as "the greatest scholar of genetics" ?
No
Yeah it's more like a "greatest woman I knew" thing
no
Margulis was a therapist
These are unrelated situations
Well
Not unrelated, but itβs not what youβre thinking
That Margulis was executed right before peritol's trial ?
Yep, doesn't seem like it
This is just the process of them going through the options for the Tau project
I just always thought that the zariman came before the sentients went to Tau
But it seems that this isn't right

I doubt it because Stalker has a bunch of warframe heads in his lair as hunting trophies
Unassisted they'd just die, yeah
We do not know how much a frame can take damage wise before its beyond repair. Like an arm can probably be grown back.
I mean given how dark the lore can go though. I suspect when one was near death the Tenno just exited, waking back up in their link chair.
The frame just a piece of equipment
it would be pretty sick if this quest set up Aedis to be the next main villain. We see how our action make her go to the sentients side here
and we fight it in tau in 2026
Jade herself IS a warframe. She had a Tenno yes, and the child shared the frame with her, but was traumatized, so Jade lulled the Tenno to sleep and fought on their behalf
Yeah it seems like that's the plan. Adis probably won't be on the same level as the Man in the Wall in terms of how long we fight him, but he's definitely going to be one of the bigger antagonists of Tau
So the Orokin sent them to Tau, they terraformed, had a war, had some peace, then the Old War?
The old war is all of it
Even the old peace in-between
I thought they said the old peace took place before the old war
Impossible
Before the old war the tenno didn't control warframes
The old peace is clearly between after the tenno start to using warframes and before the naga drums
Old Peace feels like after the Old War (because warframes exist) but before the Tenno betrayal (which I thought was the end of the old war, but may have been something else)
More like before the moon attack that we seen on the prologue of the new war
Afaik the end of the old war was after the collapse when the Lotus phased the moon into the void so the tenno would be out of reach to the sentients
Came back?
I Mean also them killing all the orokin.
That the zariman jump came first than the sentients going to tau
I mean yes. Well failed Jump. We don't know
When it reappeared though.
On the crewman imprint here surely says that many other plans to reach Tau have failed
But we can't say if one of them was the zariman
It probably is. Why mention it?
Wdym ?
The imprint talks abt peritol's trial
Which the 7 are deciding if they are going to sent sentients to Tau or not
Which ballas manipulates them to do so
@brazen seal also I still think you're thinking about incorrectly. When the Zariman jumps it fails mid jump in the Void. We don't know when it re-appears in the origin system.
True
Cuz the whole point of Wally in the Zariman and his deal is getting them out of the Void.
Zariman comes first cause if the sentients went first then the Zariman wouldnβt even need to exist or use the reliquary drive
Sentients get to tau
They make the rail
Zariman disappeared for "days" doing a test/preliminary jump from saturn to "the outer gates" according to the Ember Prime codex recording.
The sabotage of the rail doesnβt happen till near the end, likely after or possibly during the new peace
pretty sure there was dialogue i think during one of the past events that the Zariman emerged some time "several years later", which is vague but gives us an idea of how long them kids were trapped in the void
Someone posted a screenshot of a interview that someone says that the orokin got impatient with the sentients and tried another way
Source?
Cause thatβs new info if true
It wouldn't be that odd but I wanna see if so.
lemme find it sec
Couldnβt have been days actually since by the time it came back the old war had begun and the frames had been tried and failed
nah, the Tenno got stuck on ice for a while after the Zariman. The Orokin couldn't decide what to do with them.
Can you source that exactly :?
Okay maybe this happened and then the main jump?
#spoiler-chat message
#spoiler-chat message
the screenshot and the link that the screeshot were taken from
Ember Prime codex explicitly says "days", Rhino Prime codex mentions "this is where they keep them. The ones from the zariman"
This might be true. Kullevro says he sees the turn of the Tenno but we don't know if that Means the Ship came back or if they where just implemented.
thats definitely in reference to the insurrection
ember prime codex is quite clear that this is the disaster, the file got reopened days later and the ship was intact, but abandoned, except for the children.
Oh it says she opened "the case" and then closed it and then opened it days later. Would we assume this would be right after the accident?
seems reasonable, also seems reasonable that the Orokin were in the process of covering things up and redacting that whole bit of history when the interview happened. Hence the whole "there were no children on board, that would violate protocol" bs
Factions within the Orokin
That does work timeline wise ig though since the sentients would be gone for so long
@misty salmon WAIT I realize what this means now. It was several days for them to actually realize it wasn't space debris and like it says in the log "full environmental intact".
Or this.
Either is possible.
I got a theory about the old peace. The zeramin got lost in its jump but the tenno made it out. The jump was originally to go to tau. With eternalism in mind, where all outcomes occur simultaneously, I think the lotus is showing the operator a different timeline where the orokin and the sentients were able to negotiate a peaceful end to the war, one where ballas doesn't go traiter. One where the zeramin made the jump successfully.
And loids comment on polluted histories is a throwaway line?
If see one more person
Say polluted histories to me
This is what the Site says.
Loid probably does not know that Lotus walled off memories of the old war.
Kinda makes sense shes plugged into the Tenno for that scene. Sheβs dropping those walls.
It took teshin breaking into out mind palace
To break some walls about the Zariman incident.
So the operator eventually made it to tau, got it
My assumption is the old peace was a lul or even a long ceasefire. And then one side or the other ignited it again.
probably ballas' machinations in the background
Or we will find out sentients have multiple factions too.
I don't think it's a throwaway line, but I think it has a lot to do with the ways in which everybody is telling their own version of history. The Orokin delete or redact anything and anyone that doesn't fit their narrative. The Sentients have several of their own versions. Lotus has multiple versions of her own history depending on how much of her programming she's working with. Can't really blame Loid for being sceptical of anybody's claim to be providing a factual accounting.
"Polluted histories" could just mean "messy stories"
Or yeah, Shiraxis' interpretation makes a lot of sense too
Either way we are about to have more space trauma to discover.
I feel for the hex if the kid could spill all their space trauma for them. Arthur would need a lot of beers.
relives the zariman experience

Considering we saw trenches in the gameplay. We had kids in trench warfare
Did yall see the small bit of blind margulis in the tennocon demo?
DE Writers: "Does this character need a therapy team? No? Rewrite."
XDD
"begin again"

Tenno, we make the therapist need therapy.
Tenno: You don't understand... we are the therapist.
This is still funny to me.
Drifter gets to go to 1999 and have a partner and meet David bowie
Operator is gonna have to re-live their wartime trauma
βOh boy I get to befriend/Rizz two new people!β
βOh boy I get to relive my past sins!β
Given that heβs there for it in the first place and weβre doing it in his house Iβd imagine weβd have told him beforehand
3
Trauma jokes aside, at least they do depict that this crap messes people up. And not that all war is just Muscles McFrag shootin and winning with no trauma.
We just know 2 of them.
Oh yeah. We fight Space Capitalists, Royalty, and a expansionist force.
Imagine the Operator gets to visit 1999 temporarily and just sees Drifter causally eating pizza.
βYou, Void-Lugger, Youβre just partying!?β
"I helped them with their trauma and I've minded love what have you done?"
Therapists need therapists.
That's how it works in reality, at least.
ngl I've seen this image so many times it's gotten funny
Actually he may very well have already known from Pom-2, considering this part of the Operator Report and all the other stuff we canβt access
The Tenno has recovered much of their lost training. Suitability to fulfil the role of CHOSEN OPERATOR has exponentially increased.
Admittedly they are also maintaining a timeloop that is likely keep the rot contained to Hollvania
"Live Margulis Reaction" or something
That must have hurt
I didnβt see it so whenever people talk about what happened I canβt help but thinking of that old game with the maze and the jumpscare at the end
Ok not a maze ig but still
She's mogging
Where they're going, they don't need eyes:
'And that is when you violated procedure?'
Kaleen bowed her head, a tear welling in her sightless eye. 'They were children. They were afraid. They needed comfort.'
'So you broke quarantine and this happened to you.'
There was silence as Kaleen touched her face, 'So what have you done with them?'
The old woman gestured for the officer to take Kaleen away. The meeting was over. When Kaleen reached the door she twisted out of his grip and shot back, 'Why would you do that? Why did you put children on a military ship?'
'We didn't. That would violate procedure.'
There's something odd here, though:
Our Zariman didn't even have "real" weapons until the Incarnons formed.
But the investigator thought it was a military ship?
Yeah, it's a cover-up
I think that's part of the orokin redacting stuff. Ooops, we killed a bunch of civilians... let's call it a millitary experiment so we don't have to disclose that.
Also perfect to try to further dehumanize the zariman children by adding that mystery
βWe didnβt put children on a military ship.β
Makes it sound as if the children arenβt even people, but something that came out of nowhere during their experiments.
Kaleen also says "It was completely intact, full environmental, as if it had never left." which is nothing like what we observe on the Zariman now
They mean the ship itself is fully intact.
And that you can breath air in it. @sick nebula
I love VOID polluted air, smells like horrors beyond comprehension
And dead people
β¦.
Why is someone knocking on a wall?
Actually it's not knocking on a wall it's a Song
That makes people go crazy even thrax hears it.
Anyone that invades hears it current it is cuz the Void drive is on though.
Thrax questioning what the Drifter is made of to survive the Zariman before Duviri was created
Drifter/operator
"What's that song? Oh what terrible Cralde you where rocked in"
Thrax saying he was like the Drifterβs father and Iβm over here like
βBoy you better be glad I donβt have a βstrangleβ option over your head right now.β
Back to this. Current Zariman literally is this. There's isn't everything really broken. It's just some things are turned over and there's void Build up.
You can breathe air outside of it too.
No? It's space.
There are tiles in the tileset where you step outside.
Ehhhh. I still want to stand by my point that the Zariman is literally pristine.
I would call it intact, but not pristine
You look at like the Chrisalist and your apartment and tell me this isn't like Top tier like "good looking" ship.
Literally the only thing wrong with the ship is stuff is turned over and there's void Corruption.
You show me anything that's actually broken.
(Not the finger)
Quest where we play clean up simulator like that game where you go around cleaning up places
Except instead its Warframes with janitor gear cleaning up the Zariman
I question the investigators definition of "as if it had never left", but I suspect that the void manifestations are a more recent development, something that has grown in the intervening time while the zarimon has been... wherever it was between the Tenno being "rescued" and the reapperance during Angels.
That makes a lot more sense than claiming that "overgrown with Void-metal" counts as "pristine"
the blood stains and the hurried baricades, are definitely old.
Yes actually we know that. Cuz the Holdfasts appear after the Tenno are off the ship.
It was In the Void again after the tenno where rescued.
Oh, wait, nevermind, they don't actually say "pristine"
The void drive is still on?
Yeah that's why the angels are there
I got confused because somebody here used the term, but the Ember Prime Codex makes no such claim
Thanksβ€οΈ
only "as if it had never left"
which... still doesn't quite fit "almost everything inside is covered in Void-metal growths", so those are probably a more recent addition
Did anybody notice in the demo of the new update that the things that shot in the back of the operators head when they were in the pool thing with Lois those purple things were the same as the lotus
You mean the underwater tentacles?
I assumed they were part of the Lotus's body.
The lotus was plugged into the operator.
The interesting thing to me is i never knew the operator had hardware neurolinks. But it makes sense when they are in the chair.
