this makes me think of that one hollivania surface tile where the techrot safe key(if the safe is on the tile) is guaranteed to spawn in a tiny pothole that's only visible if you wreck the entire area with splash weaponry to clear random environmental objects

ever since the Damage 3.0 to simplify the weaknesses/resistances of enemies,there's been a change that doesn't make sense to me. corpus weaponry was made with puncture in mind to counter grineer armor. just as a lot of grineer weaponry was made with impact in mind to counter corpus shields. but with the swap,this no longer makes sense
so why was it swapped to begin with?

also the removal of colored effects via weapon energy that makes the energy color on a lot of weapons effectively meaningless. with status icons being added with procs,why this change too?

I think it's just due to when the game syncs with their servers. Where you have to like do something for it to trigger a save/sync. I've had this happen to me sometimes as well and usually if I know I'll be logging off after switching up a build I just go to a relay and then close the game.

Like if you were to go into your arsenal, swap mods on a build and just close the game it won't save and it'll revert the change.

I'd say Cetus is alright, it statistically has the higher chances though it's more the traversing the map getting from point A to B since it is much larger compared to Cambion Drift.

And if I recall some mission types like the drone escort on Cetus can take a while or bug out (basically meaning you fail and leave with nothing).

i just bring a frame with silence and parkour around for the 4min youre on the elevator collecting cannisters.
and the 2 forced combat parts have pretty set spawns/choke points you can pewpew without too much aiming

just the operation in general, theres only really killing at the start/end where theres choked spawn points, so aiming isnt really required.
and not enough spawn during the actual elevator portion to bother focussing on killing (without delaying the elevator speed up, unless you run in a group and theyre quick on the cannister grabbing)

so you can just spend the first 4min doing the elevator, then camp the choked spawns with anything for leveling things

if you want elementalist mods, go for it - they sell pretty well as a plat source, although their price will likely drop as the event goes on.

To boil it down, the problem I have with Violence in particular is that the player is punished for trying to actually engage with him as a fight.
Yes, I could equip a strong enough gun to remove him in seconds. But at that point, he may as well just be a DPS check.

That's the point I'm trying to make. The challenge of Violence (and to an extent other content in the game) boils down to being a DPS check, and players are punished for trying to engage these challenges using other mechanics of the game. "

really depends what you have access to, these come to mind:

on call crewmates with radial aoe weapons
radial aoe weapons used yourself
big bonk melee (slams or just big hitters)
stuff with multiplicative galv (if you prime)
zariman incarnons (the 21x dmg evo works now i think)
any incarnon genesis you have.
tauron strikes (if you have them unlocked)

beams now work well enough even if not optimal, you can usually brute force now with just anything strong

just big hits and big crits

Looking for a melee that can one or 2 shot them without much set up. I've been plying Saryn lately and the one that turns off abilities is quite annoying. Primary is Sobek that isnt that good at distaptching them without buffs and secondary slot is reserved for Velox stat stick
