for starters, don't mod away the heat damage. heat damage ramps up better over time compared to the gas damage you've got on it right now - sustained fire will do better with heat.

add in a cold mod in the blank slot to fuse with the toxin into viral if you can - keeps the heat while also adding another damage multiplier.
