well thats a question relating to how leveling stuff works in warframe in general. if you play multiplayer, your ally kills will funnel xp to your weapon. in solo, you have to get kills with the weapon to level it

I would say high-value resources polled up would make it interesting. Bartering plat itself (which DOES have real-world currency value) is likely to get Warframe in entirety in trouble if it was implemented in such a gamemode. I CAN see players pooling up resaources like Corrupted Holokeys, rare Relics, and the like.
