This game has TONS of interactions and mechanics that even people who have been playing this game for years don't always know. modding is probably consistently the highest bar to entry in the game between understanding how to do it as well as getting the mods. ask for help, wiki stuff, and use beginner videos and dont be to upset if you dont immediately get access to stuff that can either require a fair bit of grinding or through vendors like barro

Any weapon can be at the very least "good" if you can mod it right. That's why you watch build videos. To learn HOW to mod those things.
Even if they use mods you dont have, theyll help you figure out whether to focus on crit or status(or hybrid), what sort of mods play best to that weapons strengths, etc. And then you look into substitutes for the mods you dont have, or where to get what youre missing

thats fine, but the biggest thing you need to understand is that warframe is a marathon. not a sprint. You will hear everyone here tell you that on repeat because it is the case. To try to translate it to D2 terms as best i can, your not gona be doing day 1 raids at the start and your gona have to do the earlier missions and raids before you can even start looking at doing on release raids to get the new stuff.

The best thing i can reccomend to do is to sit down, bite the bullet of not wanting to watch videos, and watch a few begineer guides from like the kengineer or smthn to get a better grasp on why your doing what your doing and to have some of the mechanics and systems explained

I have 2k hours and have only looked at guides for super specific stuff. Most of my builds are trial and error and some through getting help in the server. Theres basically a firing range you can test all your gear and builds at and tweak your builds in that mode (the simulacrum)

So having all keys on does have a major negative (as you'd be hit by the effects of each individual key), then you will get hit again by the effect of picking up the item in the vault.

It really doesnt tbh, stand in a populated relay and wait a bit for someone to bestow an affinity booster blessing and go do sanctuary onslaughts, weapons are easy to get blueprints for via the market, warframes arent hard to get, prime weapons and warframes are pretty easy to get if you do some fissures and it just kinda goes up from there. Level up companions, archwings etc too, plus your operator amps
