Maybe just mod the beam for viral heat (and magnetic it you have the combined mod). That will give you a very good damage boost. Def more than 200.

5 stacks of viral boosts damage to health by 200% and heat would reduce their armor so that would also boost damage. And the cold from the artax will boost your crit damage

It's very dependent on the frame. If the warframe you are using is using those Warframe specific Augur mods then it's fine but not all warframes use them. Secondary specific Augur Mods are easier to put in any builds because you can either put it on your Secondary Weapon e.g. I use them in my Grimoire or put them in your Sentinel Companion with a pistol-type weapon like Burst Laser Prime.

It is especially great on Sentinel pistol-type weapons. You save mod slots for your Warframe and Secondary weapon.
