Trying to maximize a Condition Overload build using Citrine, Prism, and, Arcane Impetus. Using Cedo Prime, Dual Toxocyst (Incarnon), and Harmony. If I read Prism right, it applies only basic elemental statuses. If so, do I mod my weapons for the combos like Rad and Mag?

Your 1 also helps stack Impetus, and Prism bolsters your 1's status as well. As long as Prism is up, you can cast 1 and grofit

You can mod your weapons for rad and mag, but Cedo will probably do better than Toxocyst in terms of spreading status for Impetus. I'd stray away from running heat on them if you're running Citrine, because heat inherit could steal a lot of your damage if you have any sort of passive status app while your Prism is up

I run hybrid, because I like to use Cedo for both fire modes - but most of the time you will get more mileage running one or the other.

Debilitate + gun CO on Cedo is very nice, if you like using the shotgun portion of it. The crit doesn't hurt so long as you have enough room to throw more status mods for your glaive shot

If you run Debilitate on Cedo, you can throw the combo mods on instead of single elements, as well. I run Viral + Magnetic on mine. Makes Debilitate proc cold, toxin, electric, and heat (from the blast on the glaive) when you can get enough status + multishot

Nidus needs some sort of "fix" to deal with the room nukers.

Whenever I see a Nidus, it makes me sad. They have to go find a hallway to play alone because they can't get any kills or do any damage in a room with nukers.

is it just the more kills he gets the stronger he gets

he needs to build up these infestation stacks and he builds it up by hitting or killing enemies with his abilities

the stacks are important for his ability strength, 3, and 4

and also his immortality

sort of the core of him

no kills = no stacks = no powers, no immortality

your loop of running nidus is basically 2 (gather enemies) and 1 over and over again, maybe stick your 3 on a teammate for extra strength or another enemy for 90% DR, 2 and 1 and 2 and 1 and pop 4 when you have enough stacks

paris is a bit special in that it can be used as a stat stick for companions, if you do that you want status chance and crit chance

for normal builds you would want crit chance, crit damage, multishot

ironically you can still apply statuses

i think overall for the negative the ideal stat is something that doesnt matter to much (such as recoil or zoom), ips tends to be prty good options, and sometimes ammo maximum

i forget what the paris' ammo maximum is but incarnons tend to be able to kinda get around ammo maximum by virtue of the incarnon mode lets them kill stuff without using ammo which can get ammo drops n stuff and repeat

outside of specific builds ips tends to not make a difference for anything

paris has all 3 so puncture would probably be the "better" ips dump stat for heavier weighting on statuses but it can have all 3 -ips stats and end of the day it doesnt make to much of a difference

I think my Quellor build uses a -slash riven, and I still do huge bleeds thanks to Internal Bleeding, lol
