there is a game mode unlocked with eris junction called arbitrations, you farm vitus essence there, and you can trade it for galvanized mods at relay vendor, one of the best mods in the game

Furis being a big one

Furis usually mods around the heat DoT to kill Thrax which doesn't work on acolytes

Some of the certain platforms like saryncor and others buff the weapon enough that all the roles are covered on the weapon itself

And if you use a raw damage weapon for Thrax you probably will be using Outburst which you need a melee for anyway

It's nice to have a weapon specced into killing Acolytes so other parts of the loadout don't need to stress

even for that you just gotta know who’s builds to look for cus there’s a lot of more or less questionable builds in there as well, but if you know what you’re looking for you’ll get solid builds too

with you get like ~700 hp from heat, if using persistence electric does nothing but if not then it can make it kill 1 guy really hard when your getting shot at, toxin makes your weapons do more damage reload faster and makes it able to do like i think a toxin proc, and cold which reflects bullets shot at you (you have to take damage) increases your and allies armour and makes the reflected damage do cold

like unfortuantly 3/4 things here as far as affecting chroma are addative and just dont go anywhere near as absurd as vex armour does and while you can use the heat for more hp imop if using persistence pop on arcane blessing so you hit like 2.2k hp and while heat is probably nice at the same time between healing from vex armour augment (and i use omamori to get even more healing) i basically never die with just those 2 abilities as well as a huge damage buff.

I agree that elemental ward is cool but atp the stats it gives are just wildly underpowered when compared to the buffs vex armour gives

DNA is given by the wild kavats on orokin derelects (most missions on Deimos, not counting cambion drift or the labs.) Very hard to scan, so I reccomend not using a pet/sentinal that will kill them and using Ivara or some other frame to stun them long enough.

If you find someone else's kavat pretty they can give you the genetics so it looks similar, but you still need the DNA I believe.

Don't think so. As far as I remember, the DNA stabilizers and interacting with them affected their health and damage respectively, going from -80% at most neglectful to +80% to most attended.
