Red Parazon icon there indicates the target is open to a Mercy kill. Orange icon means they are open to a regular melee finisher.

The difference between a Mercy and melee finisher is that Mercy's instantly kill the target no matter how much health they have left (you're also invulnerable during the animation), and they trigger any mods on your Parazon that give bonuses for performing them (as well as any "on finisher" conditions for equipped Warframe Arcane's just like a regular melee finisher).

for anyone concerned about the "best" one its probably between maduri or vazarin from what ive seen with maduri focus school just being even more ability strength and vazarin being able to heal defence targets and revive teammates in archemdias, the others are all good so theres not really a "bad" pick but more strength and the revive and healing objectives for archamedias is quite good
