the thing is you have stuff like the torid burston arca plasmor (tenent) latron and bassocyst that can all do insane amounts of damage in their own right without much outside help, but then you also have stuff like miter and a bunch of other primaries that while they can absolutuly kill and with good set ups do insane amounts of damage (not that you need to considering some corrosive and viral can effectively increase your damage against most enemies like 8-12x making their ehp not all that different from their actual hp) but none the less need more recourcess invested in them to try to scratch the surface of both ease of use and ability to mow down hordes of enemies

secondaries you got stuff like the nukor, laetum, dual toxycyst, lex, occucor, furis, cycron, angstrum, siccarus, plus some of the best priming weapons in the game, plus if you put some outside investment similarly to some of those primaries things like the akkarius can go from being so so to just insane aoe

in addition secondaries have probably some of the best arcanes and some very good utility mods, and melees are just melee influince and then watch the enitre room explode because thats basically what it is in addition to slams and just a lot of unique play patterns and build diversity, stuff like ceramic dagger can basically do perma millions on its own with some puncture investment melee doughty and then just a bunch of crit stuff, stuff like the coda hirudo can be used on health tank frames to heal up, stuff like the predos can be used to increase parkour velocity, most glaives are just throw it and watch the room blowup, you have the dual zoren prime for coptoring, you have slam weapons like the magistar or predos that can clear hordes of enemies in instants if you give it a bit of a jump, and the big name support primaries are like.... the scourge or priming (again secondaries alrdy do it better with being able to strip overguard as well while doing it) the only thing that primaries do really well that a lot of the other weapon groups dont is like big upfront aoe with stuff like the bassocyst, zarr, arca plasmor, latron, and dread/paris with split flights (their incarnons are affected by it effectively creating a shotgun of huge aoe), and probably a bunch more. id say primaries do chain beams well but theres the nukor, cycron, and atmos that are beam chain weapons and depending on how you count it the siccarus, toxycyst, and angstrum can "chain" with their richocheing bullets

Yeah generally speaking primaries are just way down the list of what’s actually good in the game nowadays. For secondaries and melees you have a “do it all” weapon but primaries just don’t have that, there’s like no util or anything outside of some of the spear guns

Primaries aren't very unique and don't have a lot of utility that the other weapon slots cant do similarly or just flat out better and often they can do it with similar or less investments (such as abilities to buff them) then primaries need

so after you complete the war within you can go into missions like cassini(saturn) and spawn a kuva larvling which gives you a random kuva weapon to get(if you dont want it you can just leave the guy and extract) but once you find the weapon you would like you spawn the lich and then theres a whole process of getting requiem mods for your parazon getting the right combination and all that its kinda hard to explain the whole prcoess

Well the main difference is really in how you spawn them.

Grineer liches spawn when you kill 15 enemies after the lights flicker in a grineer mission. You knockdown the marked target and it'll show a fancy kuva weapon. Mercy kill it and it'll become a lich with said weapon.

Sisters spawn after completing a tier 3 granum void challenge. Once spawn its the same like liches

There are definetly some good primaries however the only thing I feel they really do well that the other weapons can't do as easily is up front damage in like 1 hit. Glaives can kinda mimic it and so can stuff like the akarius but those tends to need a little more help then some of the primaries. Outside of that melee have probably the most diverse utility in affecting your play style while secondaries are comparable in weapons that chain to enemies and imop are better primers due to arcane like arcane fortifier

archon vitality, continuity, stretch and intensify are probably the best ones overall

continuity probably the lowest of the 3 ig unless you really like frames that do toxin dmg

Stretch can be activated by companions, continuity is great, and vitality is a must for any heat frames

just want to add on to this, like basically every frame can do the intended endgame content (archamedias) just fine with mby the exception of ember (entirely possible i dont know how to play her well and the last time i did i was just barely staying alive) so theres not really any specific must have frames you have to have regardless of if you like playing them or not, and then nekros is just the "farming king" which helps make grinds for materials a lot easier, although there are some other farming frames atleast for me when i think farming frame i go straight to nekros, then khora, hydroid, atlas, and then ivara in that order (you can also put atlas's farming ability onto other frames like nekros to basically be a 2 in 1)

I'm doing a bit of research into Netracells, and whether i'm geared enough to try them solo, and was hoping someone could confirm a question i had.

I know you get 5 search pulses per week. and sucsessfully completing a Netracell uses one of the pulses. if you fail, does it still use a pulse? or does that only get used up when you complete a run?

Hell yeah! Honestly I just love everything about his aesthetic, and his abilities seem really cool to me too. I'm not looking forward to a prime warframe grind, and I'm not sure if I'd want to farm him, Valkyr, Ivara or Oberon from the resurgence even if I was open to relic farming, buuut he's definitely a very cool frame :D

some of the top secondaries that are just also super fun imop are the nukor, laetum, furis (with its incarnon adaptor), cycron (basically just a side grade to the nukor, the siccarus prime (with incarnon addaptor), and dual coda torixica are all quite fun

technically the akarius is also one i really like but thats smthn that requires a lot of stuff to make it usable and then the dual toxycyst is very good but ive seen some ppl i know stray away from it because of its fire rate, which the siccarus incarnon is basically the same thing but just goes brrt from the start

imop there shouldnt be to much fomo for incarnons as their stuff is just on a rotaion that resets every 8 weeks, and most incarnons tend to just be really good giving either good weapons more stats or bad weapons insane glow ups, or giving some mediocre weapons some buffs that make them go from meh to very good. once you get them its kinda hard for a lot of non incarnon weapons to compete in a lot of stuff because of how good they tend to be. for PT velocitus/corvas are great (can 1 tap limbs and has enough punch through to take out multiple if in line)
for orphix go fluctus (infinite wall punch through)
for ||hunhullus|| (and pure aimed weakspots) the imperator works a treat (but not much other use for it, mausolon/grattler work well enough)
this is SP, maybe a bit slower in a full group (if noone else shoots)

no you need to spawn a lich first by either vanquishing a larvling (for kuva lich) or candidate (for sister), then go through the lich rigamaroo with the requiem mods and stabbing and then finally vanquish for the weapon or convert to get a crewmate but no weapon
