biting frost would only be viable if it was working on eximus units

because it needs to fully freeze, eximus units have pverguard and overguard cant be fully frozen

so therefore, its not as good as it sounds

and to begin with, frost is a durability frame largely

icy avalanche just doesnt seem good imo though

frost has a very heavy kit on armor tanking with his passive and snow globe which benefits from high armor

really what you WOULD do is cast avalanche to buff his passive, activate arcane guardian, and then use snow globe

his 2 also is not worth thinking about

likely itd be most profitable to swap it out for something different

so therefore, do you even need ANY augments on frost?

if you want an overguard frame and want to have fun

styanax is what id recommend, its more fun to build for armor on frost because his other abilities will be used more

basically youll get a better overall usage and a more fun experience if you dont build for overguard

because if you do use icy avalanche then youd likely use the casting speed archon shards and be spamming your 4 a lot

not to mention that building for overguard is very energy expensive

The way fusion works is that it multiplies the value of the higher statted one by 1.1x

Thats really strange, if its only the mass eximus spawn, and it normally just has a fixed enemy amount even despite penance/stage condition. I will go to take a look at the wiki if theres some sort of hidden condition for the defense stages but ive never heard of an infinite defense wave like that. If its a bug, you should report it on the bug report forum, other people might have the same experience

Ive had some super long (like weirdly long) waves on shrine defense and the marie/lyon defense stages but ive never had a mission fail from it before, sounds super frustrating. I would definitely reccomend keep testing and see if its replicatable to end up in the same endless wave / mission fail
