My entire point is that as a newer player her kit is so reliant on already having enough supplementary resources to get going

They're struggling against lvl70 Grineer, not trying to efficiency blast through with a complete and forma'd build

Like one or two sonars will already be enough to murder an enemy that a new player would be mostly likely struggling against

When I first got banshee even level 30 enemies were taking a while to kill, because my weapons weren’t fully built and I didn’t have many of the mods necessary to make them work well, let alone even having good weapons

Let’s take roar for example, a 25% damage increase is massive to a mid-late game player because they already have the foundations to do solid damage, but newer players just do not have that, so a kit that doesn’t have much survivability except a small range cc and almost no proper damage options to speak of means that the weapons need to do most of the work and if the weapons themselves are just not strong enough then the player ends up struggling in most content

Rhino is a different case because his iron skin just helps new players get through content

That really depends on what you need it to do. Companions are very good now and most of them have a use case. Nautilus, Hounds, Panzer Vulps, and several types of Kubrow are all very good

Diriga is an easy companion to get Tenacious Bond to work, but not much else

But a Pamzer is really easy to get and doesn’t need much to be great

Opening Void Relics in public Void Fissure missions is an easy way to obtain Forma blueprints.

so there are sorties, slightly hard missions, complete 3 of them, you have a chance for a forma, there are alerts sometimes that will net you a forma if you complete it, but yes make as many formas as you can cause if you have a broken weapon but not enough mod capacity, you're gonna need them, and opening relics can give you forma sometimes if it in their reward list
