Also fun fact pets follow the player's active body regardless if spoiler mode, warframe mode, or mech mode.
The sentinels follow the warframe itself and can disappear in some quests as expected unlike dogs where as long as it is the real you they follow you to the cold below.

really depends on the frame and build imo. Are you using both Primary and Secondary weapons? if no then maybe Arcanes that buff Primaries or Secondaries can be an option too.

Strength Arcanes can also be good to buff up your "Gun buffs" like Xata, Eclipse or Roar (and the innate skills of the frame that also buffs Guns)

Personally I dont like using Avenger without Combat Discipline, and I only use Combat Discipline for frames with healing (thats just a personal thing)

Yes.

If you receive a built weapon directly as a mission reward/inbox message, it includes a slot and Orokin Catalyst as if it was bought from the market for Platinum.

(This does not apply to Adversary weapons, they show in the inbox message, but you still have to claim them from the Foundry, which does not apply this logic)
