They're not really partners. You just always slot MS and then Galv Apt/Shot/Savvy is based on if it's not AoE or some other weird bugs that make it good.

so a shotgun with 10 100 damage bullets will scale worse with 160% damage increase than a rifle with 1 1000 damage bullet

Ok i think i might just be done with this game

After unlocking or earning multiple weapons i can't use because of the MR rank requirement i decided to finally look up the tables
Currently have 188 hours in this game and I'm rank 9 and i just beet my first Coda, grind itself was actually very fun and i think i prefer them to Kuva liches

after all that and killing it I went to choose a weapon and was locked out because i need to be rank 17. and after looking it up rank 17 requires 722,500 xp
after almost 200 hours i only have 231.184

I've made the mistake of not looking at guides because that's just how i like playing these games and because of that every time i go towards a weapon or reward i want i get all the way to the end only to get blocked by an arbitrary rank that dosent even do much of value and will take hundreds of hours just get get half way

So after that wall of text the question is what the hell am i supposed to do
because based on what I'm reading my only options are to do nothing in this game but earn and rank a bunch of weapons and frames I'm realistically never gonna use again. or do the things i actually find fun in this game but not use any of the rewards because of my rank

I will ALWAYS push for newer players to get Helminth. Farming a frame, seeing if you like it or not then having the option to feed it for the Helminth ability and frame slot back or keeping it until you get the prime version. Great source of MR that will get you to high MR in no time so long as you keep foddering bad weapons

Another idea behind the system is you unlock more and more weaponry as you go up, since Coda weaponry, certain Tenet weapons and Primed weapons tend to have higher MR requirements, you can use a lot of the lower MR weapons and see what you like or don't like

Then there's the weapons in the market, weapons researched at dojo, its a journey, in the meantime wracked up tens of millions of credits so I can upgrade any mod or build anything w/o a care for that, and passively farmed thens of thousands and even millions in some cases of all the possible crafting supplies I may need, more or less. It's a journey is all I can say

That's good. Initially I maxed out one all the way, then I switched active schools to target the way bounds, then I went back to my preferred school and just use lenses to push points toward a different school. I couldn't tell you what way is optimal but that works for me.
