I have an idea and wanted some feedback on it: using the zariman dormizone garden to "plant" and "reforge" guns by buffing individual stats, using plants from planets or shrooms gathered from the deepmines. You'd literally mix the gun into the soil with some plants/shrooms and, based on the composition, it would grow the same gun but with a singular stat buffed or nerfed.

I think it would provide a possible path for some weapons to be more personalized to each player's wants (poss a plat sink too, due to time gating). The only issue is the database explosion, which probably would be mitigated by having this only be possible 1-2 times.

Primed grasp is a decent one to grab, primed elementals are preferred for raw damage builds over 6060s, and also ones where that extra status change wouldn't mean as much, ie melees pre melee influence when fighting corpus enemies

You cannot modify any stats. They have to be fixed so that the database does not explode. That is why Rivens exist.

Every person’s weapons are identical in the database. All the database has to store is how you have applied mods, which are also identical with the sole exception of Rivens, and Rivens are hard capped to prevent the database from becoming unmanageable

Kitguns can circumvent this by simply having parts that are referenced that modify the base stats of the gun wholesale, rather than having any number of unique changes that are applied only to a singular copy of that item

When I use nami solo, instead of actually going for a good tennokai mod, I'll just use the range one and then with my +2.5 range riven and primed reach I hit miles away with the heavy attack in a circle
