For eidos without mech you need some tools
1: a good crit weapon like rubico or perigale modded for radiation. Other crit weapons work but mught need more investment.
2: a chain weapon to deal with vombs that spawn under the eidos, kuva nukor or vermisplicer kitguns work the best
3: an armor stripping gunblade, sarpa would be the easier and best to aquire early on but there is a better one later on

Two per focus school. Those waybounds, once unbound, are permanently available no matter what focus school you have equipped. They make a big difference in how your inner child plays, regardless of school.

Any school is usefull at end game, is just deppends on what you need from them. Madurai tends to be the most used since its the easiest way to increase operator damage, naramon if you play around with melee light attacks often, zenurik itself isnt only energy but also has a super usefull ability that slows down 99% of the enemies in the game... Deppends

You'll need to "capture" around 310 Terrys to unlock all ten waybounds, unless you want to grind 7.5M focus by hand.

Now that I'm back though, Railjack is cool and just doing a bit of everything, not too much to get burned out.
The truth is though, as you likely know yourself, that you will eventually get to the point where you will get burned out on it as a Solo player. I stopped altogether back then when my long time duo partner vanished. It just stopped meaning anything to me then.

I recommend doing your best to find a duo partner that shares some of your values

It's the only way to ensure long term investment into the game (imo anyways)

it's channeled, but the activation radius stays in place, meaning you have to recast to re-apply it to allies who have lost the buff... thus removing it from allies out of range

and the energy drain scales with amount of allies affected, including summons

and it's barely noticeable in a meta where everyone either stacks overguard, shield gates, or has their own health tanking engine
