We get enough crit chance from blood rush and galv steel that we don't care about more from rivens, and combo count boost is bad as ±

It's why I recommend either buying unrolled Rivens for weapons or straight up good/god rolls

It really depends on the warframe you are bringing and partially on the guns.
You should also always use your Archwing to traverse the terrain

You should focus on collecting the mods I listed above and to build up your warframes / upgrade to prime warframes over time. If you're short on money then try to save your Catalysts / Reactors for Prime Warframe and Weapons or some that you won't get an upgrade for or only in a long time, like the Hek, Dread, Syndicate Weapons, Nukor, Atomos, Dragon Nikana etc

I was shocked at how cheap the new Primes are lmao. Was a really good trader back then and it was super easy to get them really cheap for me and gf. I also have a huge ton of junk and vaulted stuff that was super common back then but sells for gold now, like Hammer Shot, which I find hilarious.

Nah the Elemental combos and such were very different back then, so I had to change up everything. Slash used to be king since it bypassed armor and viral would cut enemy hp in half temporarily and such.
Tbh I kinda stopped buying all the new content because it's too easy and it ruins the game. Why play the game then

To elaborate, the shock mods are only available from Baroo kteer and that every few weeks. I think he only sells one each visit, if he sells one at all. As Ahniar said they are optional, a side project for much later. Before those you should absolutely get Primed Continunity from Baro or hold on for Archon Continunity at some point down the road

Just remembered a small detail that somewhat bugs me: following the damage type overhaul + simplification, Grineer and Corpus' resistances to Puncture and Impact were swapped, so Grineer are weak to Impact and Corpus to Puncture. However, unless I'm mistaken Grineer still deal lots of Impact with their basic weapons, while Corpus deal Puncture, which was a nice unspoken symmetry with the original resistances as they dealt the damage type their main enemy was weak to, while now they deal the damage type that they themselves are weak to, which feels less intuitive. I recommend saving Nightwave Credits for Nitain Extract, resist the temptation to buy other stuff there (never buy the warframe helmets or weapon blueprints, trust me).
Nitain Extract is extremely, extremely tedious to farm, don't do it if you can avoid it. You need 2 Nitain for each new warframe prime to build them, so plan ahead : )

the game only gives you like a text tutorial but you gotta go to the red missions, select the one with 'controlled teritory', mid mission they're gonna spawn special enemies with marker (forgot the name), kill them and it will progress the murmur/clue, there's another mechanic called requiem mods (completely different farm btw), you gotta equip a specific 3 of them on your mod to kill the kuva liches, the murmur only tells you which 3 you need but not the order
