For the Soaktron, it's a very slow bullet with heavy dropoff so you have to lead and aim a bit higher if you're shooting more than like 10m in front of you

Defense opens a relic in just 3 waves which can be done really fast but acolytes appear less often I think. Survival takes 5 mins per relic but acolytes appear every 4:30 mins or so

If they want to fix EDA/ETA without doing a massive touch up of the entire balance of the game, they should add a "pool" system where you have... let's say 30 weapons for each weapon category which are loaners or whatever. Don't want shoddy loaners filling up your slots? Build up other gear and put it in the pool to replace them.

Still has the cool randomization stuff and still incentivizes building up your other gear without having to make me rip my hair out using weapons like Fusalai and Cassowar

The trouble with a lot of later game Warframe is that people don't want to throw aside their builds they put so much work into and that also trivializes content (me included). Adding a bigger pool would only exacerbate that problem. It really just comes back to the power creep being an issue.

for the zariman arcane drops come from beating the crap outta angels, or racking up standing and rank to just buy it from the zariman vendors

It doesnt spread out damage really. You'll still do the full damage to the first dude you hit and diminished to the rest. Spring loaded blade is a good alternative if you dont have the endo to max out a 10 rank mod.

Endgame, you want to pack on damage and status mods. You'll also get things like incarnons which will increase your melee range and the effectiveness of reach falls off.

So yes, but if you dont get it dont stress. It wont be game breaking to just use reach or spring loaded blade
