you have to stab the lich to find out the sequence through trial and error

Killing his thralls will fill the murur circle meter, which reveals a mod required to kill the lich. You need the mods equipped when stabbing the lich, not the minions

Theres also some weapons with MULTIPLE versions, like the Detron (Base, Mara, Tenet) but no prime.

There exists a technical requirement of MR 5 at least and Railjack access. This is due to quests required to spawn Kuva Liches and Sisters of Parvos. Codas are much later on.
