yea for returning ppl like me that tried a few liches and sisters and then coda stuff... huuuuge difference. coda is fast, you get what you need doing missions (if not.. the chance is double in the nxt mission) you dont rly need to farm the mods (they drop by just playing, compare that with lich parazon mods.. ugh), no boring rng with the weapon you get (hi sisters) its overall so much better

IIRC, DE said somewhere that they don't want to do new narrative-driven Nightwave's anymore due to community backlash for time-limited lore.

Too many people complained about Story based nightwave, so odds are we are probably never getting it again. On top of what TinhornName4 mentioned. It's a lot of resources, slows up big updates and then you have part of the community beeching as a thank you because they don't know the whole amount of effort processed for all that to happen.

I heard Destiny lost a copyright lawsuit or something, they claimed that someone was copying their old gameplay mechanics, but because they deleted all their old files when they removed it from the game entirely or something they couldn't prove it

Edit: other way around, someone is claiming Bungie stole his ideas for their "Red War" campaign, but they removed that whole story from the game and erased it from their own servers so there's no copy of this PAID story (common Destiny L) that exists anywhere, so they can't prove they're not stealing
