ok, the main thing you're looking at is augment mods
each warframe has their augments split into 2 of the 6 syndicates
you can almost always get 4 of the 6 to be friends with you, while the other 2 will hate you
and even if an augment is only in the latter group, they're tradeable

syndicates are a bit outdated as content, they're only useful for augments these days

and as a new player, you aren't really going to know ahead of time what frames youre going to like the most

otherwise, vibes is a good choice

the only softcap-like effects you'll see fom base stats is with armor and dr from sources like adaptation and aviator, where the damage reduction increase is weaker the higher armor is and all known dr sources are multiplicative to each other

that's the general rule. however there's at times the weird exception to the rule that refuses to do like the others because blud got born in 2017. Some abilities either soft or hardcap the effects of their warframe's mods for reasons i can't even pretend to know outside of "it's from a different era"

yeah i dont enjoy it much either, i forced myself early on cos it was uncapped focus farming, and some riven transmuters

but its nice that theres alternate avenues to get the arcanes now (which arent just wait for events)

Nataruk can technically still carry, but good alternatives are:

• Kuva Bramma
• Kuva Zarr

Though both of these were hit hard by ammo nerfs, being the main reason for them. I recommend Carrier/Carrier Prime, Ammo Mutation is a must.

• Kuva Nukor is still an amazing primer.

• Tenet Plinx has disgustingly strong Alt-Fire

• Tenet Envoy is cool too, but somehow doesn't suffer as much from ammo nerfs imo

• Tenet Cycron is basically just a battery Nukor (take with a grain of salt)

• Coda Bassocyst is just fun.

• Coda Hirudo is amazing for Tennokai/Heavy Attack Influence builds.
