my issue with the MR lock system is that obtaining new weapons to get MR takes a long, long time, is an aggravating and mindless grind, and often you dont even enjoy the weapons

are in there for 10min thats 500 kills, thats ~1 tellurium (throw in a loot frame, prob 1-2 tellurium, but RNG is RNG)

To be fair the process is somewhat of a pain if you don't pay for the Kavat genetic codes.

the genetic code farming is pretty annoying, at least the codes are affected by boosters/buffs/simaris scanner widgets.
deimos horend (they spawn in pairs, always atleast 1 spawn point in a big room after capture target, usually 2-3 pairs spawn per map)
using an invis frame, or equinox work well

or inaros quest if you havent done it

Dante's Noctua is capable of scanning Kavats on kill, eliminating the need to stop their movements or to consider leaving it alive altogether. This method still works even if the player has Kavat completely scanned in their Codex.

the stage beams can hit for 10-30k, the toxin procs are dumb (from packet i think)

revenant, rhino, dante, yarelli, styanax/wukon/garuda (sit in your invuln ability), maybe wisp for heals, never bothered to try, maybe something with big damage reduction, but overguard/invuln is way safer

its just kinda silly theres no real tells for the abilities, so cant really counter play it skill wise

just have to invalidate the mechanics

so you can recast it every 5-10sec/every handful of rooms pretty comfortably

it really depends what you're using it for, if you're after rare crates/ayatan sculptures you would most likely want high range (then if you spawn in and theres nothing you can leave and go again)
if you're farming kuria/somachords/framefighter frags, using the air support which shows unscanned stuff (parallax landing craft) would probably be better

at least mirror defense in EDA isnt too bad with the -45sec off each round after the first (and 90sec off the final round)
takes it from the usual 12min (2.5min per side, 30sec travel) down to 9min

still not sure why they havent added that functionality to the base munio mirror defense (tyana pass needs it too)

but knowing DE, if they added it to base mirror defense, they would prob remove the cheese where the necramech insta dies without you having to touch it

also helped in the disruption, because apparently people suck at killing demos, so having silence to stop them charging to the conduit was nice

I don't see a problem doing it once on your own. It's when you're doing it for the 10th time that it's handy to have a cheat sheet. I just prefer the 1-4, A-D method over 1-8.

I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Melee Influence. I try to play Doughty, Influence is easier to build. I try to play Vortex, Influence is lethal and covers a wider area. I want to play with Syam. Its best arcane is Influence. I want to play with whips, with swords - they both want Influence. It grabs me by the throat. I run bounties for it. I do EDA for it. It's not satisfied. I get Incarnons. "I don't need this much attack speed" It tells me. "Give me more status chance" It grabs Afflictions and forces it to flung itself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Galvanized Elementalist." I can't upgrade Galvanized Elementalist, i don't have enough endo. It grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." It grabs Excalibur. It says "Excalibur, get them." There is no hint of sadness in its eyes. Nothing but pure, tile-wide electricity procs. What a cruel world.

I got a mod that actually increased health orb drop chance from mercy kills, so I do them as much as possible.

i mean, the issue for me is mainly that enemies that can be mercy killed still die to fast for me to really ever do it. like when im doing Hex bounties that require finisher kills, i have to be careful and slow down my rate of killing just so they have a chance of not being oneshot so i can actually do mercy kills on them

outside of maybe dedicants, everything just dies so fast that mercy killing feels like slowing down
