Hammers are also really slow, which also slows your finisher. Personally, I don't use finishers often as Ash Prime. I just use invis and slice and dice my way past.
Just don't use Fang Prime. It might be his signature melee, but they suck worse than the base.

They already have it for the Syam and Wolf Sledge, which do throw on heavy, but not on glaives
It would let holding melee do auto-attack, and the glaives don't do anything when you press heavy unless they're in flight anyway
Thinking about it now, maybe it's to avoid conflicting with pistols because glaives can be dual wielded with a pistol. But... is that even practical? Like what pistols with alt-fire are you gonna use alongside a glaive?
