I found a Topaz and an Emerald for extra damage on status it's what I have on hand, and an Emerald for two extra stacks can still put in some work

Since 12 Corrosive brings the strip up to 92%, and max heat brings that to 96%, usually that's enough to still do damage

you can make the projectile travel faster, meaning it will cover more ground and go through more targets. you cannot make it travel slower but go the same distance, far as I'm aware. That's about the only way you could make it "last longer".

I don't know of any mods that adjust the lifetime of a projectile, just their speed/range.

You can actually pick up the Daikyu's arrows with the Amalgam Daikyu mod. Steflos, Citrine's shotgun, also extends its projectile life time with every enemy it hits.

On PS4 i noticed that if you connect a keyboard and mouse for some reason it makes you able to Aim Glide during Lavos' vial rush and honestly it made the ability so much more fun, you could actually traverse with it and gain some air without being stopped by random obstacles, making that an actual feature would be really cool ngl
