Some of the bosses are super annoying. The one on the War map is unfun. I dont even know what the deal is with it, just shoot it in the back as bunch until he quits being invincible.

Once he quits that he gets deleted in 5 seconds

There was one I did that was two bosses at once, I think.
One of them was invincible for aaages, to the point i thought it was bugged.

but you can only tell you progress by the pipes disconnecting

the story and future content will make up for all of that tho, this is a 12 year old game and so the further you get into it, the higher quality it gets
